What's the difference between Abilities and Adaptions and virus specific mutations? 'cause wouldn't virus specific mutations be considered under adaptions, like sickle cell to prevent malaria and while it's a mutations it's also an ability?

Adaptations would be specific to Sea Dwellers. As they've adapted past mere mutations and have become separate races and species entirely (Though these races and species may have abilities as well.). Mutations would be human specific and limited to specific areas of the body with possible abilities. (Ex: One eye has night vision, phosphorescent skin, etc. But still human overall.)

They escaped before the infection. They are the ones who released the virus and left Earth.


Once on Earth, your Pyxan can have a reaction to the dense atmosphere of areas of The Sea. It's up to you how that plays out, or if they are affected at all.
