The world was silent around her. She could see the wind blow through the trees and the birds hope from one branch to another, there beaks opened with song but no sounds came out. There was only a light high pitch noise that rang in Elle's ears. Her vision blurred round the edges and her stomach rolled. This was not going very well. If Elle didn't stand up, she would be killed on the spot. The fight previous was a quick one and her attacker got her down with no struggle or problem. They had snuck up on her and got her at a moment of sleeping. They threw her whip and kicked her around to the point where she couldn't stand anymore. Not once did she fight back or make a move. Not once did she even make a sound.

"Can't run now, can you?" A women with bright golden hair leaned over her body. She had one heel digging into Elle's already bleeding stomach and a gun aimed for her head. "The boss is going to super happy to learn you were taken care of so quick, thought I don't know what so special about you or how you even managed to stay alive this long."

"Because she can run. Thats all." A males voice called out but it was out of vision distance.

"But she has a high hit record. I don't see anything and she hasn't even tried to fight back." The women was distracted by who ever she was talking to and looked away from Elle. Her heel was still in her stomach and her gun was still at her head, but she didn't seem like she was going to do anything soon.

"Maybe I wanted to be caught?" Elles voice cracked. The woman looked back down and dug her heel further into her stomach. Elle didn't scream or flinch, but she continued to stair at her assassin.

"And why would you want that?" The woman mocked her.

"For this." Elle brought her hand up and dug her nails into the flesh of her leg. The girl yelped and jumped back, taking a few shots at Elle. Elle rolled away with each bullet landing in the dirt next to her. When the gun shots stop, Elle jumped up and grabbed her that was caught on a tree close by. The woman she had stab, stumbled around with a confused face. Her gun dropped from her fingers and landed with a soft thump into the dirt. Her knees started to wobble underneath her she tried to keep herself from falling.

"What did you do to me!?" The woman cried in frustration and fear.

Elle whipped the blood from her lips and smiled. She didn't need to answer any of her questions and soon enough the women wouldn't even be able to talk.

Taking her whip, she snapped it out and allowed the tip to wrap around the feet of the women and throw her feet out from under her. Her body fell hard to the ground and she let out a cry of pain. With the whip still attached, she dragged the woman to her and smiled. Even thought she hated doing this, in a small way she also enjoyed it. This person had killed countless for pleasure and didn't care for one second who's life they were ending. To see the light leave this woman eyes would be a gift upon the world.

Elle crouched over the women and smiled down at her. She knew the man hiding in the trees would not attack her right now. She figured he was smart enough to just sit and watch. She didn't know if she could take him but she hoped he would bring this information and scene back to whoever had sent them.

"My body....numb." The girl slurred her words and had a look of fear placed permanently into her eyes. This only made Elle smile more. How many people did this woman look down at with the same fear in their eyes, and kill them any way. If she lived, she would continue to kill. "Please..." She mumbled. Her word were barley conceivable now. Elle brushed her hair away from her neck and leaned down to smell it. She knew right were the vein was and sunk her fangs into her neck. Poison from both fangs, flooded into the woman blood stream and straight to the heart. Soon the poison would put her to sleep, numb her and stop her heart. She got a painless and honorable death. Something she didn't really deserve.

After a slight cracking of leaved and branches, Elle knew that the second person had left her alone with the dying woman.

Elle turned back to her and found her eyes closed her her breath becoming shallow. She rose from her spot and grabbed her whip and bag. She didn't try and bother to bury the body or hide it. If anyone ever found it, they would never be able to trace it back to her. How could they if she didn't exist in the human system. They would able it as a snake bite and continue on with there funeral shit.

Elle's ears still rang and her eyes were still blurred but she felt better as each step brought her further and further away from another death. Like always, she would survive and continue on. This time thought she would need to find a new home.

The sound of cars could be heard in the distant background, fresh air encircled the area and everything was still. Walking through some woods, far off a normal path, Piper trooped along swiftly and silently. A plain cloak covered her face and body, only her mouth visible. She had no destination in mind, Piper was just walking mindless to wherever she wanted, not in any hurry to do anything or go anywhere. The peaceful silence was broken as loud footsteps pounded against the forest floor, twigs breaking underfoot and body carelessly brushing past the undergrowth. Eyes narrowed as the young woman shifted to the side, wondering what the heck was running through the forest at this time of day and so deep in. Or at least to Piper it seemed like a pretty deep forest.

Standing off to the side, half secluded, eyes locked in curiously, waiting patiently for whatever. A few moments later, some guy burst from the trees, looking like he'd seen a ghost or something. Glancing around wildly and over his shoulder a few times, he appeared to be checking to make sure no one was following. He froze as his gaze landed on Piper and she just looked right back at him, not that he could see much of her. Standing up and adjusting his uniform, trying to make it look like he hadn't just been panicking, turned and looked at her. "You there, what're you doing out here?" he called walking forward a few steps.

Shoulders lifted and fell slightly, "Well what're you doing out here? Not much you can do in a forest at this time of day." she answered in a nonchalant tone. The guy's eyes narrowed slightly. "Nothing that would concern a commoner." he answered in a snarky tone. Piper hissed through her teeth shortly, "Commoner? I think not, clearly you have no idea who you're talking to." she snapped back automatically.
Ugh, after 4 years you'd think some of these habits would wear out by now. she mentally whined, slouching in annoyance slightly. The guy raised an eyebrow, challengingly. "Really? Then who are you if you're no commoner? You can't be any more important than me. I work for our glorious government, nothing higher then that other then the the rulers themselves." he respond, sounding way to proud about that.

Rolling her eyes, Piper scoffed lowly. This guy really didn't know how to just let things pass by but then again, neither did she. "That's not important. Just be on your way and I'll be on mine." she answered before turning and walking the way he'd run from out of curiosity. "Hey! Wait a minute, you can't go that way!" he called after her. Ignoring the annoying man's voice, the young woman kept right on moving forward, curious to see what this guy had been running from.

"I said
wait!" he growled, darting forward and grabbing his shoulder, yanking Piper back roughly. "Tsk, fine then." Grabbing the man's arm, she managed to flip him over her shoulder. "Don't touch me. I'll go where I want to." she growled a bit pissed now. Scrambling to his feet, he glared at her. "Yeah? I don't think so missy, you're coming with me." he announced, lunging for her again. Side stepping the man easily, Piper pushed his along, sending him into a tree. Jumping up a second later, the man threw his arm out, a knife having his fingers. In a flash, the blade was deflected and in Piper's hands sat a gleaming katana, on guard and ready to fight.

Before she could move forward, the man rushed her again, a gun in his hand now. In an instant, he fired his gun a few times, bullets whizzing through the air at the surprised target. Swinging her sword up, Piper managed to deflect a one and dodge another, her hood flying off in the process. Another whizzed past her arm, grazing it and leaving a painful wound. Gritting her teeth slightly and pushing the pain out of her head, she swung her non injured arm at him, fire shooting from her fist. Barely digging the shot, the guy looked at her in surprise. "Fire? Was there another escapee? Wait, I don't even think we had any fire Eilif...tsk you must be a Feikn. Get lost, I'm letting you go just this once. You'll probably be dead by the next time I see you anyway. It's about to start." he growled, putting his weapon away.

Piper just looked at him like he was some lunatic, absolute confusion crossing her features. Eilif? Feikn? What the heck was this dude talking about and why the sudden attitude change? Out of all the knowledge she'd managed to gather in the past few years, not once had she come across those terms. And what was this 'it'? Was something bad coming? Feeling rather confused, the blue eyed girl stood there for a moment or two in puzzlement. Sighing a moment later, she sheathed her sword, keeping an eye on the guy who was watching her. Once her sword disappeared, he shot forward and swung his arm. Elbow connected to head and Piper dropped to the ground out cold. "Can't have you following me now you curious child. It isn't time yet" he said, not that the dark hair girl could hear him. With that, he turned foot and ran off again.

"Ah hell no. Your not going anywhere." Elle's whip came out from the tree line and wrapped around the mans ankle, dropping him to the ground. The man struggled to crawl away but she dragged him quickly to her. Elle didn't know what really happened, but she knew that the man who had just attacked her, also just attacked this innocent person. She has just come upon them when she saw his elbow meet her face. She had given him a chance to run and not attack another person but now that he had, she had to do what she needed to punish him.

"Let me go." The whip released from around his ankle when she flicked her wrist. The man turned on his back and pulled his gun out. Elle only smiled and crouched to the ground, pouncing from one spot to another in almost a blur while the bullets hit the spots where she use to be. Physically she had no strengths but her speed was higher then most of her kind. It was one of the only things that kept her alive most the time.

A frustrated growl came from the man and the wind around him started to pick up.

So thats your power. Wind....

Elle smiled at the simpleness of his actions. She knew him and his crew only use their power when they truly needed it. He was going to give it away.

Taking his blade out, after clearly running out of bullets, the man charged at her. Elle could see the air circulate around his blade, making it fasters and shaper if it priced her. Jump backing with each thrust of the knife, Elle tried to direct each blow away from her. There was not much she could do in close combat if she couldn't get close enough to attack, but she was fast enough to move away and her senses sensitive enough to feel the difference in air pressure as they got close her her.

"Get away from me!" He cried out and gave one last final thrust. Elle dropped to her knees and slide under his legs, sing using her thumb nail to slice up his thigh. The man screamed and dropped and Elle spun back around and gave him another deep cut with her thumb across his back.

"Please, stop...no more. I give up!" His voice was full of fear and it made Elle stop before going for his neck.

"What?" She asked, clearly confused.

"Please...I didn't kill her."

Elle flicked her whip and wrapped the tip around his wrist to spin him around. He faced her now and his face was full of terror. Elle contemplated if he was telling the truth and if she should just kill him and get it over with. She badly wanted to see his blood spill onto the soft earth but she also wouldn't be any better then the woman she had already killed moments ago.

"I injected a different position then the one I did with your friend. My thumb continues a different venom. Slowly its going to thin your blood and make you bleed to death. It will be a slow and cold death..."

The man whimpered as she spoke but she held up her hand to shush him,

"But...if you leave now and get to the city, you will have more then enough time to find help and get those wounds cleared up. I also want you to send out a message." She gripped the man around her his throat, her nails digging in but not cutting through. He gulp and stared up into his face.

"Tell your master..." She got close to his face "I will NOT play this game." She hissed at him. He nodded quickly, ready to get away from her. When she released him and kicked him down, he scrambled up and ran into the woods towards the city. She felt bad for him and that was one reason she let him live. He was just as much being used as she was. He couldn't help but be controlled. For a moment, she wondered if she should of killed him. What would happen to him when he returned to his leader and told him that they failed. They would most likely kill him.

Elle wrapped up her whip and hooked it to her belt. Her ears were still ringing and she was sure she had lost hearing in the left one.

"Damn it.." She muttered as she approached the knocked out girl.

Was she a human.

Poor human. Didn't deserve this....wait...

Elle leaned in close to her. She smelt different. Crouching over the girl, she placed both hands on eater side of her and start to sniff around her neck. Her sense of smell and other senses were heightened with her being a animal hybrid, and she could smell the difference between people. She could still be human, but Elle had no idea. A small excitement zapped through her body with the thought of her being human. This was the closest she had ever come to one. Or to a normal person at least. Elle crawled round her, looking her all over. She then settled next to her head, crouching where she balanced on the balls of her bare feet. She leaned over the girls face and started to push her cheeks around. She had never touched a human before too.

Elle didn't even think about what would happen if the girl woke and found a bare foot, bloody face women crouching over her and squishing her cheeks. She only had the wonder of doing what she was going.

Piper came to several long minutes after Elle had chased off the guy who'd attacked her. Upon awaking, she was greeted with a head slipping headache and a giant handful of confusion. A moment later, her brain registered someone poking her cheeks in random positions. Sitting up suddenly, her head smashed into the one above her, causing her to fall back in pain. "Ow ow ow what the heck?" she mumble clutching her head, curling up slightly. If her head didn't already hurt from being knocked out, it certainly hurt like hell now. Rubbing her head furiously to try and get it to stop hurting so much, she looked up curiously. Instantly she noticed the other persons mismatched eyes which Piper found rather interesting. A moment later, she noticed the blood. Scooting back some, she tried to figure out who this person was and why the heck they'd been playing with her cheeks. Plus the whole blood part.

Eyeing the person, Piper finally took in that it was another woman, probably a little older then she was by her estimation. Tall, blonde nearly white looking hair, armed with a...whip? The blood made her rather weary but she didn't run off or anything quite yet since it seemed like this mysterious person posed no threat to her. Yet, anyway. "Who're you?" she asked finally, looking around. She noticed the guy was gone and there was blood on the ground across the area. Scrunching her nose up some in confusion, Piper looked back at the woman in confusion. "Where'd the man go? Why're you covered in blood? What's going on? Gods my head really hurts now." she wondered aloud, not really looking for answers. Rubbing her head, she felt a welt starting to form on the side from where the man hit her and a bruise where she'd just smacked her head with the person in front of her.

"Ah! I'm sorry for hitting you! Are you okay?" she suddenly sputtered, remembering she wasn't the only one whose head probably hurt now. Rubbing her own again, she pushed her hair from her face some and blinked slowly. One hand fell to her side, near where her sword was hidden as she looked at this stranger intently. "You aren't gonna attack me too are you?" she asked giving a skeptical look.

Adjusting her legs, she moved into a crosslegged position, moving slowly as to not cause her head to start spinning again. Letting out a sigh, Piper closed her eyes briefly and let out a long breath softly. Shifting back a bit more, she leaned against a tree before opening her eyes again. Pricing azure eyes gazed directly at the person in front of her, no display of hostilely, just faint curiously. Her head pounded furiously against her skull, the welt starting to throb a bit. If she wanted the swelling to go down anytime soon, she'd need to get something cool against her head.

But being in no condition to really move, Piper just sat there and decided to try and figure things out first. Her fingers twitched slightly in anxiety, unsure who the heck this person was and what the heck that man was talking about earlier. Faint irritation crossed her face for a moment as this crossed her mind but she dismissed that, focusing back in on the stranger.

When the woman's head came up, Elle was surprised enough that she couldn't move back in time to avoid the bumping of heads. She didn't cry out but she did fall backwards off her feet and onto her back.

"Ow.." She sat back up, her hand rubbing the spot on her forehead where she was hit. The girl was up and now facing her. When she scooted back from her, Elle held up her hands to show no harm. She backed up in a crouching position, and she watched the person with much interest.

"The man? You mean Jasper? He won't be bothering you or anyone again. He's most likely bleeding out somewhere in the woods, or he might be on his way to his master in the city. Doesn't matter much to me."

Elle scooter closer to her. She was so excited to be near someone who looked and acted so normal. She wanted to continue poking her and feeling her body. See how different a human body or whatever she was, compared to her own. They looked similar from the times Elle had watched them from park benches and tree branches, but she never truly new.

"I'm fine. You however got a pretty nasty hit earlier from Jasper. Are you okay?" She scooted closer to where she was super close to her girl, almost hovering over her. Her hands went up to feel the hit mark lightly and rest of her face. "He had a gun. Did he shoot you? I don't smell much blood on you but i can smell it. Are you human? You smell amazing, and I can't seem to figure out what you are!" She said everything quickly, not allowing the girl much time to answer even one of the questions. It was just too exciting. Elle had huge smile on her face as she continue to touch the girls face and also play with her hair. The girl might be terrorized by what she was doing but Elle had no clue if not.

"Why do you smell so good!?" She gripped the chin of the girl and swiftly, almost in a blur, leaned forward and licked her jaw and cheek. "What the hell?" She jump back and widened her eyes. "Definitely taste good, but not human. What are you?"

The sudden intrusion of space was weird enough for Piper, being poked and prodded like an animal didn't come nearly as close to what this person did after. The shock of this random...person...if that's what she was...of them licking her, had Piper staring at her in shock. Her jaw was slack as she just stared at the other woman for a good minute, not saying a word. "Did you just...lick me?" she asked, finally finding her words. Right after that, Piper raised her arm and using part of her clock, wiped off her face and scowled slightly. "What the hell is right! Who the heck are you? I can't believe you just licked me!" Piper cried incredulously. Jumping up and ignoring her head for a moment, she looked down at this other...being. Forget dangerous, this person was weird. Actually scratch that, this person probably was dangerous. Weird people can be dangerous ones too.

"I think I should be asking questions here, not you missy. Who is Jasper? The man who attacked me? How do you know him? How do you know him? Did you kill him? Is that his blood over there? Or yours? You seem to be hurt too. How can you smell blood on me? What the heck do you mean you can taste me? How the heck do I even taste good, no actually what the hell do you mean by that? And what do you mean 'am I human'? Of course I am! More like what are you?" she shot back, sword suddenly in her hand. It wasn't directly pointed at the other woman, the tip faced towards the ground, but Piper was suddenly a lot more cautious of this person. Who the hell
licks someone? She still couldn't wrap her head around that. Lowering her sword even more, she rubbed her cheek again, making a face at this.

Her mind screamed bloody murder as she moved her arm, just now remembering she'd been wounded. Clenching her jaw slightly, Piper made no move to tend to her wound. She just switched her sword over to her left hand and let her right hang at her side, hidden form view again. Due to the movement, it'd caused the bleeding to start again and she young woman could feel warm blood tricking down her arm under her clock and shirt. It was a rather uncomfortable feeling but there was no way she was going to tend to that with some apparent nutcase standing around. Who knows when she'll lick her again?

Adjusting her grip on her sword, Piper took another step or two away from the woman. She really did need to get her wound tied up, she was starting to feel a bit faint from blood loss now and her still pounding head wasn't helping at all. Standing there, eyes never leaving the other woman face, Piper debated on running off or just waiting for them to leave. Running sounded like the better but then again she also had no idea where she was or how fast this girl was. "Tsk, making things hard on me" she muttered to herself. Not like Piper could attack either, not in this condition.

Elle raised her eyebrow and as the girl rambled about. Was it wrong to taste her? Maybe humans didn't do that. She needed to know what she was. Yet, still she couldn't figure it out. Humans had a certain taste, and Eilif had a certain taste too. This girl tasted almost pure and sweet.

Elle was about to answer come of her questions but when her sword came out, Elle's eyes switched to something dark and dangerous. Quickly, in a blur, her whip was out and wrapped around the girls hand. With a flick her wrist and the sword went flying out of her hand and far from her reach. She then pulled the whip and it threw the girl at her. Elle caught her gently, but rolled and threw her on her back, pinning her hands with her knees.

"Calm down human. I'm not going to hurt you. If you make a commotion, you will attract the others and that would be very bad in your case. I would not be able to protect you. When you are calm and I know you wont attack me, I'll let you go." Elle removed on of her legs from the wounded arms and noticed that blood ran from it into the mud and dirt. "For one, let me treat that. You will get an infection and die...or bleed out." She jumped off the girl and grabbed her bag that was behind a tree. Digging through it, she looked for her medical stuff she still had.

"I don't kill for fun. Only for protection or if the person has killed many others. Jasper is alive, and if he is smart enough, he'll be fine. If he had killed you, that would have been a different matter." She pulled out some bandages and a small bottle of alcohol. "Now will you let me treat you? I promise I won't lick you. I just needed to see what you are. I'm sorry to scare you." She placed her whip down, knowing that might be a stupid idea if someone came at them, but the girl seemed harmless enough. She said she was only human, but even Elle could feel she was something more. Better to befriend then to attack. "Please...let me help you."

Suddenly finding herself on the ground weaponless wasn't what Piper was expecting. Her brain hardly had time to register the movements of the other woman. Being thrown down wasn't exactly pleasant either and if anything, it just made everything hurt even more. Scowling, Piper sat up slowly, rubbing the back of her head and shrugging her back off her shoulders. Looked like she was staying here for the time being, might as well get comfortable. "Tsk, this is annoying." she muttered to herself, watching the other person rummage around in her bag. Leaning to one side, her eyes bore into the speedy woman's back for a long moment as she thought to herself.

There were two things Piper had managed to pick up before whatever just happened, happened. One, the look in this persons eyes before attacking was far scarier then she could ever imagine. And two, she didn't like being referred as a human the way it was said. Sure, Piper was pretty sure she was a human just like everyone else but she didn't like the way this person said it. Like humans were inferior or something which then just confused Piper because, wasn't this scary weird one a human too?

Crossing her arms and letting out a huff as the other girl asked to help her. "You, are by far one of the strangest person I have ever met." she announced. Even as she said that, her left arm moved up to untie the cloak, letting it fall around her and exposing the rest of herself. Piper sat there in trousers and a plain shirt, her hair falling halfway down her back. Part of her shirt on the right was ripped from where the bullet grazed her arm. Warm sticky blood continued to flow but was starting to slow down.

"I guess you can fix me, but I want my sword back. I don't like not having it near me. I promise not to point it at you again." Piper said, pointing to where her sword lay. "As for licking, somehow I get the feeling that wasn't the last time I'll be licked..." she added in a slight grumble. "Anyway, what's your name. I can't keep calling you 'the weird dangerous killer who totally confuses me'." Piper crossed her arms lightly and just frowned slightly as she looked at the other woman.

"And what the heck do you mean 'what are you'? I'm human, so are you. I think you are anyway, normal people don't exactly lick others but besides that...tsk, why the heck am I even letting you do this? First you poke and lick me, then you attack me and now you want to heal me? You oddball...ugh, be happy my head hurts to much to do anything else." she added with a grumble, half talking to herself for the most part.

Elle grabbed the girls sword and sat it down next to her before sitting down herself. She had the things she needed to clean and wrap the wound but the girl would beed to keep an eye on it. Who knew how dirty that bullet was. Luckily it was Jasper who shot her and not the girl from before. The girl laced hers with poison so it would make the person very ill just to get nicked by it.

"Human? I wish. That would be a lovely thing. Humans are lovely. Be lucky to be human....though it is strange that a human like you is walking around the forest with a sword. This is going to hurt." Elle looked at the wound as she talked and started dumping alcohol into it. It would burn like any cleaning but this would make sure there were no germs or dirt.

"They gave me the name Elle. What is your name?" Next Elle started to wrap the wound. She made sure it was tight and think to catch and stop any blood flow. It wasn't the nice looking clean up but it was the best that she could do with what she had stollen. If she had needle and thread, she could stitch it up. Before letting go of her arm, Elle saw a small smear of blood trick down her arms that was not caught by the bandage. Without thinking, Elle lifted the girls arm and lightly lapped up the blood. Her blood would be able to tell her more about her. Her eyes were wide and she dropped the arm. "You're no human! You're so sweet! Human blood is salty and nasty but you are like....wow." She smiled at Elle and scooted back to her pack to look through it.

She pulled out and apple and sat it in front of the girl. She stayed sitting back and just watched her. Wondering what she was going to do.

"But in all seriousness, what are you doing out here? Its dangerous now. You could be killed."

Piper nodded satisfied, leaving her sword lying next to her and moved her arm forward slightly to let whoever this person was, tend to her arm. Listening silently, an eyebrow lifted slightly as she was informed that this person was not exactly a person, or at least that's what she gathered. When the alcohol was dumped on her arm, she practically shrieked and jerked her arm back slightly. "Ever heard of dabbing a little on and not pouring half the bottle on?" she snapped with a scowl. letting out a huff she calmed down quickly and glanced over at this Elle, about to answer her question when she was licked again. It wasn't as weird as the first time but it was still weird enough for Piper to pull a face and shake her head, pulling her arm away gently.

Wiping her arm off some where it just got licked, Piper glanced at Elle again as she remarked about Piper not being human either. Watching her put her things away and get out an apple, Piper just stared for a moment before shaking her head again.
What the heck have I gotten myself into? she wondered with a mental sigh.

Picking her sword up, she just sheathed it, adjusting the scabbard so it rested against her side comfortably in a sitting position. "First off, licking is not normal. Neither is...tasting me? Whatever that means...and smelling blood, not normal either. So who are you? Second, I'm Piper. I'm just traveling around." she answered slowly. Piper didn't bother to mention she was a bit lost and had no clue where she was or really where she was going. For now, that information would be retained.

"Now, on to you. Who
are you? Where do you come from? Why are you out here? Who the heck is Jasper? How do you know him? Why do you say you aren't human? Why do you say I'm not human? How do you know what human blood tastes like and how is mine any different? Who is 'they'? Why attack then help me? What do you want with me?" she asked, firing question after question as they entered her head.

Still sitting as the girl started to ramble again, Elle could only lean back in shock of how much she could say at once and how frustrated the girl was acting. Jumping up and standing in front of the girl, she lifted her hand and placed a finger against Pipers lips. She smiled and lowered her hand.

"For one. I am Elle. Two, I am a Feikn. A more descriptive term that humans like to use it hybrid. I know what humans taste like because I was forced one time to taste them. It was very unpleasant. I know your are not human because you smell and taste different. You taste pure and honestly delectable. Feikn blood taste diluted and sickening. So you have to be something else...." Hunger flashed through Elle's eyes for a brief moment but she passed it on, knowing how to control herself.

"Anyway, Jasper is like me but he's a cold blooded bastard. And I didn't attack you. You threatened me and I disarmed you. There is a large difference. If i attacked you, you would be about dead by now." Elle's voice had a more serious note to it. "There are more Feikn out in these woods and they are killing others. They are not like me and will kill you the moment they see you. So.....not safe here." She smiled again and stepped away. She knew Piper had more questions but she didn't really know how to answer them without scaring her.

"So you say...licking is not normal...." She stood there and looked at the ground, thinking about the humans she watched. Suddenly an idea came to mind.

"Oh yeah! I am so sorry! Humans have a different way on how they do things! They do this!" She grabbed Piper, placing one hand on the back of her head and pulled it to her own. She planted her lips roughly onto Pipers, kissing her. She then stepped back and smiled.

"I see humans do that all the time! Thats how you greet, right? Kissing?" She smiled wide, pleased with herself for remembering. Even if it were wrong. She had no clue what kissing was or what it was part of. She would only see pairs of people together and doing it.

Crossing her arms, Piper nodded slightly now and then as Elle finally started answering some of her questions. She wasn't sure how to digest some of the information, finding it utterly weird and just raised more questions. Rubbing her temples briefly, Piper contemplated briefly about asking more but decided to just wait for those to be asked and maybe answered anther time. While thinking, she completely missed the hungry look in Elle's eye, only making a face at the mention of her blood tasting so nice. A scowl crossed her features as she was accused of her treating Elle and would've argued that but she felt a bit to tired to try and fight this girl on dumb things now in the past.

Raising her head as the word 'Feikn' was mentioned again, she was about to ask Elle about what when the other woman decided to kiss her. Piper sat there stunned motionless for like seemingly the millionth time as she just gaped at the other woman. She wasn't sure if she wanted to slap her or...remark on her remark about watching people. Her typical reaction would've been to hit her however her subconscious wasn't in the mood to get nearly killed by this person again so she didn't.

Quickly recovering and regain her composure, she gave Elle a dry look before she stood up herself and ran a hand though her hair. "Am I allowed to say kissing isn't normal either?" she muttered more to herself then the other woman who looked far more pleased then possibly imagined. "You're...sort of correct. Kissing is a way of greeting
but only if you're dating that person otherwise it's not really normal." she briefly explained, leaving out the whole other long explanation of how technically people didn't have to be in a relationship but that was different. Does this girl know anything? she wondered eyeing Elle for a moment. "And dating meaning be romantically engaged with someone."

"But never mind that for a few moments okay? Safety isn't much of an issue, I can defend myself quite fine thank you. Except maybe against you, you're ridiculously fast which is totally saying something considering I like to think I'm fairy fast myself. Apparently not though. Anyway! Feikn, what's that? Why are they killing each other? And where are we?"

"Ah, damn. I really like the kissing. It seems very connecting. " Elle had no idea what romance even meant but she brushed it off when Piper started asking more serious questions.

"Feikn's are....well... We are genetically created people who are trained to kill and destroy." Elle looked away from Piper, clearly ashamed of what she was. She learned when she was young that she was created in a lab and was kept there to kill and train. "One of the others, like me, broke a bunch of us out. Freed us into the world. After that we learned that there were Feikn's already out here...waiting. The people who created us...the government as they call themselves, sent out advanced and loyal Feikn's to kill and attack Eilif. Those are people with natural born abilities. I don't know why they want the two to fight...but it can't be for a good reason." Elle stretched and then picked up her bag. After saying as much, she noticed that she had been in one spot for to long. "Originally I think they are only suppose to battle each other but i've noticed that everything one is killing everyone. Is like a war is about to start....Im not going to be apart of it." She shrugged and picked the apple off the around.

"These woods are soon to be battle ground and you are in the middle. If there is something that normal Feikn's hate more then Eilif, its humans. They believe they are a weak and worthless race. Pointless on being on earth."

Piper gave a weary look as Elle lightly complained about kissing and how she liked it but dismissed that as she went on to explain things. Crossing her arms, the blue eyed girl stood there soaking in the information once again, her mind racing thoughtfully. She had no idea that their government would do such things but as Elle finished explaining a bit, Piper got the gist of it all. Running it over in her head a couple times, she stood there silently for a few moments. So basically, the Feikn's dislike the Eilif but hate the normal humans. The Eilif and Feikn are fighting to the death for whatever reason and Elle was apart of it because of who she was. Plus there were the loyal Feikn who sided with the government so they'd be an issue as well. If a war was coming, this whole place would be practically destroyed, not just this forest. Somewhere in all that, Piper figured that was probably why she'd been poked and prodded and licked. If genetically made beings never saw anyone 'normal', they'd be pretty curious.

It a took a few moments longer before it clicked but when it did, Piper snapped her suddenly fingers and looked intently at Elle. "Wait, you said the Eilif are people who are born with power right?" she asked to reconfirm. She wasn't sure if she was happy about this or not, her face paled slightly as she looked at her new acquaintance. "I guess we found your answer. I don't think I'm 100% human like you uh..tasted." she explained slightly with a dry look again. Bending down, she picked her cloak up, leaving her bag near her feet. Wrapping the cloth around her shoulders and tying it firmly in the front, Piper raised her good arm and sighed. The worst that could happen would be she get killed here but at the best, she wouldn't. She figured since Elle already noticed something different about her, didn't kill her the first time, and didn't seem to want to kill, Piper figured going out on a limb wouldn't be to bad. Hopefully. There was a lot she didn't know about Elle.

Keeping an eye on Elle, nothing to hostile or nervous, just a neutral expression, Piper allowed her own power flow through her body. A split second later, fire burst from her palm. Unlike typical fires, her's was blue, something Piper never understood but didn't know how to find information on it. Not like a library would have any information on something most people didn't believe to exist. Moving her hand slightly, she moved the fire so it only shot from the tips of her fingers, keeping the intensity low.

"Well, it looks like I'll be getting dragged into this lovely war."

:Holy shit! You're a Eilif!" Elle took a stand back from the girl and watched in both amazment and horror. The power the girl showed was something more pure then anything ever used or created in the labs. She was using pure fire created by her body. The closest the government had gotten to the giving someone this power was a guy who manipulate flag from a source like a lighter but mostly he only only use heat to a extreme. That is why she tasted so sweet. She was Eilif. She was there for Feikn like her to destroy...to devour. Feikn's were created to be able to survive on Eilif blood and flesh. That gave her species more of a reason to hunt and kill.

The reason for horror in her eyes was that this girl was showcasing her pure power in a forest filled with people looking to kill those like her. If they saw this, they would kill and eat her.

"STOP!" She yelled in fear. She placed her hands on both her shoulders and looked her dead in the eyes. "Are you stupid!? If any of the Feikn's in this forest see or hear you, they will hunt you down, rip you apart alive and feast on your flesh! Why are you here in this forest?! They will kill you!"

Ever a small part of Elle, part of her she tried her hardest to hide and keep dormant, want to take a bite from the sweet apple that stood in front of her.

"Your Blood is all over the ground. We need to get your out of here before someone picks up your scent. You blood is the only thing we can track with. That why Jasper didn't kill you.....He thought I would...." Elle continued to hold not the girl. "we need to go. We need to get you somewhere sa..."

Before Elle could finished her words, she became very still. There was a different in the air, a difference in pressure and motion. Someone was close by. Gripping tight onto Pipers shoulder, she moved her to the left with a small shove but only a half inch. Right when she did, an arrow came flying past both their heads and landed in the tree behind them. If Elle hadn't of moved her, Piper would have been killed already.

Elle spun around and grabbed her whip. She stood in front go Piper in a protective manner waited. Another arrow came out but Elle's whip was fast enough to snap in out of the air.

"Were to late...someone has smelt your blood." Elle's voice was dark and there was small bit of worry in it. Before, Elle was able to handle herself with one or two people. But if there was more then one person, she didn't know if she could protect Piper. Elle was still wounded from the fight she had earlier with the woman Jasper was with. She hadn't eaten in a some time and the fact that she had a meal she would never touch was behind her, didn't help.

"Don't run. If you do, your dead....We both are." Elle got into the fighting crouch and waited for the person to appear. When she did, Elle went cold. It was a mother hybrid. A powerful one.

A woman chocolate skin and dreaded hair stepped out from the tree line of the thicker part of the forest. She she walked, she had a gracefulness in her step. She look elegant but she had a wildness to her eyes. A deadlines.

"Elle, what a pleasant surprise. It seems that you found yourself a snake. Mind sharing?" She woman voice was smooth but deadly. Elle hissed as she watched the woman get closer.

"Back off Jess, she is not part of this. Let us go..." Elle knew this girl. She was the one who broke them out. She lead them to be brave and attack so that they may have a free like. Why was she doing this? Why did she care about the girl?

"Let her go? Are you joking? A sweet treat just bleeding and ready for me." She smiled at them, flashing her fangs.

"Why are you doing this? i thought you were against this?" Elle asked. Watching as the woman stopped and leaned against a tree. Her arms were folded in front of her chest but Elle knew different. She could still attack at anymore.

"That was true...before. But after I got out, I came across a helpless boy who was bleeding in the woods....I couldn't help myself. Now, I'll i want is that sweetness. My body needs it. Like yours does." Elle hissed again and was taken aback. Jess had killed an innocent? That was unlike her. Elle knew this girl from the first time the opened their eyes. She was a hybrid like Elle but she was a more powerful creation. She was a Panther. She was quick and fast. She could almost match Elle's speed. In hand to hand combat, she could kill Elle in a instant.

"Look, please let us go. You know I can't fight you." Elle asked. She was ready to beg so her friend didn't have to fight her over something so stupid.

"I know, that why I will!" Jess jump from the tree, her class and fangs out. Elle was about to push Piper away and jump out of the way from the attack. Jess didn't stop, she kicked at Elle and sent her flying into a tree. Elle let out a scream as she fell to the ground. Her wound in her stomach started to bleed again and Jess picked her up by her neck. "Give me one good reason now to snap your neck and eat the girl."

Elle could only smile and look past her to Piper.

"Because if you do...you will burn in the pits of hell." Elle hissed and spit poison in her face. Making Jess scream and jump back.

Piper tensed slightly as she was suddenly grabbed and told to stop. Dropping her arm, her fire went out as she looked at her new companion in puzzlement while they went on ranting about Feikn's and Eilif's and killing. It didn't bother Piper, she knew there was danger lurking pretty much everywhere. Apparently Elle didn't get that Piper could fend for herself when she actually wanted to. But of course before she could snap at the other girl, she was being pushed backwards. A second later, she realized why. An arrow shot past her eyes, embedding itself in a tree behind them. Blinking, she looked over at the arrow and then the direction it came from, not seeing anyone there. Frowning, she dropped back half a step, her hand already moving towards her sword when the other girl moved in front of her. Why Elle had done that, Piper didn't know. Rolling her eyes, she just let it go for now. "I don't run, thats cowardly. I can handle myself." she answered standing there, waiting for whatever to happen next to happen.

Her expression changed to one of surprise as another person walked out but by going off the conversation Elle was having with her, it seemed this one was also a hybrid. One that wasn't as nice as the one in front of her. Shifting her arm slightly under the cloak, Piper waited silently, hand brushing the hilt of her sword as she got ready to take action.

Listening to the conversation was enough to make Piper feel a bit sick. She'd never been in combat where her life was seriously at stake and killing was as natural as eating. It was a bit hard for her to swallow really. Shifting slightly from foot to foot, she covered her unease with the slight movement, keeping her expression blank. Her mind started to tune things out and her eyes just shifted back and forth between the other two girls, trying to asses the situation the best she could and how much of a change she'd have if she had to fight this newcomer. From the looks of it, the chances weren't high but that wasn't enough to make Piper run.

A scream brought her away from her head and her head snapped over to where Elle had just been slammed to. A wince crossed Piper's features as she noted blood starting to flow from Elle. How the heck had Piper missed that earlier? "Tsk, this isn't good." she muttered to herself. Still she did not move right away as she watched carefully to see what Elle would do. Surprisingly, although things outta be less surprising at this point, the white haired girl spit in the newcomers face. And to add to that weirdness, the other one jumped back screaming her head off. "Well, if people didn't know we were here before, they certainly do now." Piper grumbled.

Drawing her sward in one fluid motion, she shot forward before either could react. In two quick motions, Piper slashed her blade against the back of the newcomers left leg and her back. Neither wound was enough to kill, just enough to seriously cripple her opponent. Retreating a few steps away, keeping this uhhh what'd Elle call her again...? Ah, Jess. Keeping Jess at a sword and a half length away, Piper just watched. She didn't believe Jess would fall that easily but she had yet to make a move. Glancing at Elle for a moment, she raised an eyebrow. "You know, next time you might wanna tend to yourself first and not someone else."

By now her senses were alive and well alert. Backing into a tree, she looked around her carefully, keeping Jess in her peripheral violin at all times. So far, it seemed it was just her. Piper didn't count on it just being her however. And less then a minute later, another one showed up. "My, my Jess. I can't believe you'd fall so easily. Well, at least you've found me a nice meal." the person said. It was a young man, sandy hair and green eyes. Raising an eyebrow, Piper had no idea what to make of this person. She could only assume it was another hybrid. Raising her sword, she moved near Elle and kept an eye on both this guy and Jess, never saying a word.

"And Elle! You're here too! How'd you get such a nasty wound? My poor darling...here, let me catch this...sweet smelling meal for you." he said, almost purring out his words. Piper made a face, this guy sounded way to sickly sweet and somehow, she got the feeling if Jess could still fight, she wasn't about to let this guy have her. At that thought, she nearly smacked her face into a tree. Being considered food did not sit right with Piper but now was not the time for more questions. "Tsk, as if I'd even let you touch me you creep." she retorted.

Elle tried to rise from her spot, but her legs gave out under her. Her vision was starting to blacken again and she could taste blood in her mouth. She needed to get to Piper, she needed to protect the innocent. As the man came from the tree, Elle only felt more doomed. How the hell was she going to take down two when she couldn't even take down one. Piper seemed to be doing alright for herself but if she didn't do something quick to protect herself, she was going to be rip apart by the two. There was the small chance that the two would attack and kill each other first but there was a chance they could work together, kill them both and then fight over the meat. It would be a pride of lions fighting over who gets the first bite of the kill. Elle couldn't let that happen.

"Hey, Jess. Looks like, once again, Laz is going to take you meal again." Elle mocked Jess as the woman stood up. The cuts on the back of her legs were already starting to heal but she was still weak and wobbly. She was using all her energy it seemed to heal herself.

"Like hell!" Jess pounced at the man and pined him to the ground. A loud roar came from her throat as she tried to bite at the man. He only laughed and laughed and brought his legs up to kick her away. Jess spun in the air and landed on her feet and pounced again.

As the two attacked each other, Elle got herself up and scooted over to Piper.

"We need to run now!" She whispered in a panic. She grabbed the girls hand and pulled her away from the group, running into the thicker part of the forest. They ran the direction that Elle had come from originally and even passed by the body of the kill she had made earlier. The body was still here, her throat ripped out but there was hardly any blood. Her blood had congealed from the venom and slowly stop everything from working. Elle ignored the body and pulled Piper past it, hoping Piper would think that the kill came from the ones they were running from and not the one she was with.

In background, Elle could hear the frustrated screams of both Jess and Laz as they fought. It wouldn't be long till they noticed that they were gone, but it seemed like they were still fighting.

"We're not going fast enough...." Elle stop and turn to Piper. Without permission or warning, Elle picked her up almost bridal style and then started to run again. This time she was quick and her body was a blur in the trees. They were traveling too fast for a scent to be left behind or any blood from Elle.

After some time, Elle stopped and dropped Piper to the ground. She herself dropped to the ground and started to cough up blood. She used most her energy to run and didn't save a lot to head her wound quickly.

An eyebrow lifted slightly as Piper noticed the wounds starting to close up on Jess. Well that was rather inconvenient and annoying however it seemed she was still a bit unstable so for that, Piper was rather pleased with herself. Sorta, hurting people wasn't something she totally enjoyed but if it was to survive, she didn't mind to much. A small smile quirked her lips as she watched Jess go after the man in amusement. These guys were pretty dumb but it also showed they had human personalities. Piper decided to compare it to two people going after the same person cause they both had crushes on that one person and not because she apparently tasted good. That thought was terrifyingly creepy.

Rather immersed in watching the two fight, curious to see what it was like, Piper didn't really notice Elle getting up until she spoke in her head. Turning her head curiously, wondering why Elle was panicking when she was suddenly yanked into the forest. This feeling was starting to feel old. Getting dragged all over the place to who knows where. Flipping her sword over and holding it close to her body to cut down in wind resistance, she raced behind Elle swiftly. As they passed the girl Elle had killed earlier, Piper stared at it for as long as she could, rather curious and disgusted by the corpse. Shuddering, she turned her focus back to running. Clearly she was no match for the speed demon but that didn't bother Piper much. When Elle suddenly stopped, Piper nearly crashed into her, not expecting such sudden stop. Opening her mouth to complain, she was suddenly lifted into Elle's arms, and they were moving again.

Making sure her sword didn't hurt either of them as Elle ran, Piper barely managed to make out what they were moving past. The speed was absolutely crazy but Piper was secretly enjoying it. When they stopped moving, Piper found herself on the ground once again. Letting out a huff of annoyance, she turned to the other girl, ready to give her a piece of her mind about being dragged and dropped all the time. However, her words died in her throat as she saw Elle coughing up blood.

Making a face, Piper sheathed her sword and sat up. Frowning she waited until the other girl was done coughing before speaking. "We need to get you patched up." she declared, stating the very obvious. "How? I have no idea. How do you heal? Bandages? Naturally?" she asked, worry starting to creep across her features. Shifting forward, she pushed the other girl onto her back gently and peered down at the wound for a few moments. It seemed a bit deep to her and the bleeding didn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Piper was no doctor but she did know something needed to done quickly.

Looking around, she wondered again where she was. "We left our things so there's no cleaning alcohol...I can use part of my cloak for a bandage but probably not the best idea since it isn't totally clean...to bad theres no water around to clean it out...uh... I'm running out of option..." Piper said, talking to herself around as she looked around then down at her companion. "Well, you know you better then me so I hope you know how to deal with your wound. Anyway I can help?"

Elle laid there and closed her eyes. The pain was starting to rise but she did her best to push it down.

"I used all my energy for getting away...unlike you...my body has an limited supply of energy. We have to collect it. Originally we were given stuff that gave us that energy but now that most of us broke out, we have to find new ways." Elle coughed a few time and held her hand over the wound. She could tell the girl that her blood would heal her but she didn't want to be like the others that were fighting miles form them. She didn't want to become addicted to the blood and maybe hurt the girl.

"Maybe a kiss would help." She jokes. She had read in some books that kiss always wake humans from slumber. "Honestly I need to move into some shade and stay in there. Im a snake hybrid so my blood with thicken in coolness. Thats why we stay in sunlight, that way we won't get sick. But right now thick blood is what I need." Sitting up, she moved back to where she is sitting up against a tree and in shade. "From what I heard. You are a special sort. We were created to be like you but stronger. I think we were created to live off you." A Elle spoke, her eyes kept going to the bandaged wound on Pipers shoulder. She could smell the blood as if it were only scent in the world. It made her own blood race which made her wound ooze more blood. "I won't though. It's wrong..." She closed her eyes and leaned her head back against the trunk of the tree. "God you smell like paradise...." Her voice was soft and she was starting to grow tired. She had lost to much blood and her body didn't have enough energy to create more or stop it. A hunger started to build in her but she continued to ignore it. She wouldn't turn.

Blue eyes blinked as she explained the situation and how things worked. She had to hand it to the other girl, cracking jokes while clearly in pain was an interesting feat. Cracking a smile, Piper hovered near Elle as she moved under a tree, watching her curiously. Sitting in front of the other woman, Piper remained quiet and listened to what Elle was saying about who they were and what they were both supposed to do and be. Frowning slightly, she rubbed her head some and sighed, eyes closing briefly. "You know, I'm not exactly blind." Piper remarked dropping her arm and looking at Elle dead on.

She still found this whole blood thing and situation in general absolutely weird. Actually, she found the while situation as a general absolutely weird and it just gave her one big headache. Lifting her arm, she pushed back her cloak some and raised an eyebrow. "You keep looking at my arm, would it help in some way or something? I don't really get everything yet. One moment I'm walking peacefully through the woods and the next I'm being attacked, knocked out, licked, attacked again and then on the run. Very eventful, my head still hurts and I'm now feeling very tired." she grumbled, going off on a mini rant. Sucking in a deep breath, she let it out and sighed.

"But that aside, seriously, what else can be done to help. That wound doesn't look like it's about to clot and close up anytime soon. If it involves me or something, go for it." she shrugged slightly with a pretty nonchalant expression. "You hurt me or something, I'll cut you." she added flatly. Dropping her arm and letting the cloak cover her arm again, she looked at Elle with a fairly serious expression.

"I'll ask one more time, is there anyway I can help?" she repeated, not to fond of dodged answers. Piper wouldn't be lying is apart of her was screaming 'what the hell are you doing you idiot!' but she also wasn't about to let this person die or something just because she didn't help. I mean, she did save her butt to so might as well repay them for that, only fair right? Plus, if anything went wrong, she figured she'd be able to hold her own.
Maybe....Hopefully.

"I don't know but ever second you smell better and better. Maybe....your blood. But even so...I don't want to hurt you and be like them." Elle smiled even with her statement. She wanted to live but she didn't want to give in. What if she did die, then the girl would be stuck out here. She could protect herself but for how long? From how many? If the girl couldn't avoid Elle's whip and clearly Elle was outmatched by Jess...they would take her out in a second. And since Jess had drank from another, she was 10 times stronger then normal. Did their blood really do that much for them?

Far into the wood, the sound of walking echoed through the ground. Someone was coming there way but only slowly. At this moment Elle had no chance. Leaning up and touched Piper hand and smiled. Blood was started to drip from her mouth. An organ, maybe even stomach had been punctured and her body wasn't closing it. She needed it this time even if she didn't want it.

"Please don't be scare of me. If you let me do this, I will protect you till the day I die." She grabbed the girl and turned her around quickly and sitting her in between her legs, Pipers back resting against Elles chest.

"Take your sword put the blade over your shoulder and rest the tip against my heart. If I can't stop, thrust back and stab me in the heart. It will kill me instantly."

Without scything anything more, Elle wrapper her arms around Piper and held her close.

"I don't know if this will hurt or not....Everyone has a different feel. Im sorry if it hurts and...im sorry it doesn't. That may make this awkward as humans call it." She moved everything away from Pipers neck and bit into it. She had no venom in her fangs, so there was no chance of poisoning her. Blood gushed into her mouth and she drank slowly.

Within seconds, the pain in her body stop but her hunger grew. It was sweet like honey and it filled her with energy and heat. She tightened her grip around Piper. She wanted to continue and drink ever drop of her, to consume ever part of her but if she didn't stop now...she never will. Her body began to shake as she battled with herself to stop. Her one gold eye started to turn slowly red as her body was filled with the warmth of the energy.

Not wanting to do anything more, she pulled away and leaned her head back Both her eyes were red and she relaxed and released Piper. Her body felt amazing. It felt strong and power and even high. It was nothing compared to what they would give her for energy....this was different. This was wonderful.

Sighing, Piper just sat there and let Elle work it all out in her head, tapping her fingers lightly against her leg in worry. Looking over at her as she spoke, Piper just nodded slightly as Elle agreed to take her blood. She wasn't sure whether to reply with 'good' or with 'you better not kill me or I'm punching you' so she did neither. Being pulled into the other girls lap however was not what Piper expected. "Wait, what? Why like this? What? Why so close? I am not drawing my sword on you." she sputtered, her cheeks warming up. With out looking directly at Elle, she glanced at her, feeling a little nervous all the sudden, he ears turning red. Being this close felt a tad intimate for Piper and that was making her anxious which logically was the wrong thing to be worried about but that didn't quite register with the blue eyed girl.

Sitting stone still, she waited for Elle to do whatever the heck she was going to do.
Why does this situation feel more like one out of some vampire movie? I swear to the stinking gods...she thought to herself. A low gasp left Pipers lips as she felt fangs sink into her neck. Her initial response was to freak out but she forced herself to sit still, her heart racing rhythmically in her chest as it worked to replace the blood she was losing as fast as it could. She had no words to describe the feeling. It hurt obviously but the pain faded and it just left some weird feeling behind that she subconsciously liked for whatever weird ass reason. The longer blood was sucked from her body, the more Piper started to panic. Why the hell did I agree to this!? Oh my gods, what if I freaking die here. Great way to, get bitten by a snake person and bleed to death or something. Jeez, am I stupid sometimes or am I stupid?

The mental frenzy faded as soon as she was released. Falling forward slightly, blood continued to drop down her neck a bit but she made no move to wipe it away. Sucking in a deep breath, Piper tried to shake the dizzying sensation she now had. Her head was spinning and her focus was rather fuzzy. Blood pounded in her ears as her body worked as fast as it could to replace what was lost. She breathed a bit heavily, a light panting at most. Sitting up and holding her head, she glanced over her shoulder and offered a faint smile.

"Better?" she asked softly. Her eye sight was still a bit off but her head was calming down and the pounding in her ears was fading. Rubbing her eyes, she closed them and leaned back, forgetting Elle was behind her and not the tree. Taking another deep breath, Piper waited another moment or two, feeling extremely tired now.

When Piper leaned back against her again to breath, Elle leaned her head against her shoulder. She could already feel her body repeating itself and replenishing her own blood. She wanted to take more but she only sat still so her body could adjust to the new situation it was in. She started to feel stronger, healthy and more alive then ever. Before her days felt like shade of gray but now it was colorful. Even her ear started to repair and become more sensitive.

"Thank you....I'm sorry if i took to much. I'v never done that before." Her voice was only a whisper. "You body has a natural healing ability. If you close you eyes and focus, you can command you body to heal and created blood faster. There is someone coming towards us and you will need to be well enough to move and fight if it comes down to it." She leaned her head back away and moved the girl away from her gently.

"I promised I would protect you if you saved me and you did...My life if now yours." She stood up and took her whip off her belt again. Her body was strong and she felt like she could run for days without getting tired. Her nerve ends tingled with sensation and life. No wonder her kind wanted Pipers kind. They were the reason they could survive. But why kill them? Clearly they had proven that they could live do this with out killing, right?

Stretching and smiling, Elle felt knew again.

"Get ready. They are here." Elle smiled as she got down in a crouching position. Her eyes were dark red, almost black. A darkness started to show though but Elle only smiled. She was prepared to fight a war with this new energy.

"Well well well, guess you couldn't help yourself." Jess came out and was covered in blood. From the smell of it, it was Laz she had killed, "Aww...but you didn't finished eating. If your full, I can finish her off for you!" Jess smiled a sadistic smile and started to circle them. Her body was rigid, ready to fight. Ready to pounce.

"You will not touch her!" Elle hissed. That only made Jess smile more.

"Oh really?" She pounced at Elle and swung her claws through the air. Elle was able to move out of her way and get behind her. Elle couldn't help but laugh as she brought her leg up and kicked Jess in the back. The woman went flying forward and hit a tree. Elle looked down at her own hand and legs and clenched and unclench her hands. She had so much more strength from before. She had way more power.

"You bitch!" Jess turned and swiped at her again. Each punch and attacked was easily dodged by Elle.

"Stop this Jess! Your letting the blood rush to your head! We don't have to fight!" Elle yelled as she jumped back and away from her.

"NO! We do! You think you are so fucking perfect, don't you!" Jess's anger grew as she ran at Elle.

"No I don't! I never have! I thought you were! I looked up to you! You have me hope and strength! If it wasn't for you, we would still be suck battling day after day. Killing every thing they put in front of us! Being treated like dogs! LIKE ANIMALS! WE ARE NOT ANIMALS SO PLEASE COME TO YOUR SENSES!" Elle flicked her whip and wrapped it around the neck of Jess. She pulled roughly and Jess was thrown to the ground. When she tried to get up, and stand, Elle only tightened her hold.

"Please Jess. You were our leader. Stop this! Don't play this game in their hands!" She stopped in front of her and kneeled down. Jess gripped at the whip but was not able to unwrap it.

Piper didn't say anything as Elle spoke, only nodding slightly to let her know she'd heard the other girl. She felt her body being moved but still didn't open her eyes. She was tempted to try the trick and command her body to regenerate blood cells faster but chose not to and let it do it naturally. Her eyes flicked open a few moment later as Elle announced the person was here. Adjusting the clothing, Piper stood up and stretched. Looking at Elle's back, she pondered her words. She didn't wanna make the other girl feel like her life was in her hands, that made the dark haired girl a bit uneasy. It didn't sit right in her mind and in general made her rather uncomfortable. Dismissing that for the time being however, Piper's hand dropped to the hilt of her sword, just resting on it as she waited for the person to appear.

A moment later, out walked a very bloodied person. It took a moment for Piper to recognize the girl from before-Jess. Her eyes widened slightly at the sight of her, not sure which disturbed her more. The fact she was covered in blood or the fact she was even alive and in front of her. The other guy didn't seem like he was weak and from what Piper could visually see, Jess had taken quite the beating herself before overpowering her previous opponent. Sighing softly, the blue eyed girl tightened her hold on her sword hilt, not yet drawing it. She knew Elle could handle herself and now that she was at her best, Piper had no doubt she'd be able to take care of this on her own. And that's how it went. Piper just stood there watching the two fight each other as they screamed at each other.

An eyebrow twitched as Elle's whip eventually made its way around Jess's neck. The brutality was still something a bit new to her in a sense. Sure she'd encountered people she'd had to fight against in order to survive but it wasn't ever on this level. Still doing nothing, Piper only looked around carefully to make sure no one else was around. Moving to the side some silently, her eyes swept the area multiple times as Elle took care of the other woman. Looking over at Jess, she frowned slightly, a sympathetic look crossing her face. It made her a bit sad to see people playing being manipulated into playing other peoples sick games.

"Tsk, I hate people sometimes. Stupid idiotic genius people." she grumbled to herself. Kicking the dirt some, she just made her way around in a circle slowly, keeping an eye on the two fighting as well as the woods that could be hiding someone else.
