Fantasy The Return of Corruption

Mr Bilkins nodded but didn't move towards the stairs. "Your right, a monster is attacking the city as we speak, but that's the world we live in right now". "I was just wondering if you, the man of the people, could perhaps help me find somebody". He looked from the priest to the girl again. A familiar pain washed over him. "What happened to her?"...

[QUOTE="Safety Hammer]"Shh.." Father Bishop laid Arabelle back down on the cot. "Why would you feel helpless? You have someone who loves you, and they are willing to fight for you. Don't feel helpless, feel happy." Bishop said, as he sat down next to the bed. "You need to let out your feelings. Just let it all spill out. I shall not tell a soul."

"I don't know if he loves me though." she said, beginning to cry softly. "I can't fight and protect them."

She turned her head towards him. "A man burned my eyes out." she said softly.

Father Bishop turned to Bikins, his eyes glowing bright gold. He was not in the mood to deal with this man. "I will not ask you again. You will leave us, walk back upstairs, and wait. Your. Turn. Am I understood?"

He nodded sympathetically without really knowing he was doing it. "Well, I guess that will do it" he responded rather clumsily. He gotten bad at talking to people, something he realised everytime he opened his mouth. He suddenly felt flustered and a bit embarrassed the he seemed to remember something. He dug around in his raggedy clothing and pulled out a glass jar filled with a thick, white paste. He offers it to the priest...

Arabelle was offended by his response and looked away angrily. She wept softly into her pillow.

"Take it" he insisted. "For her" he gestured towards the girl who had turned away from him and now sobbed dryly into her pillow...

Father Bishop turned back to Arabelle and let out a sigh, his eyes slowly fading back to their original color. "My dear, leaders do not need to fight. They do not need to protect. They are there to inspire. Alex, who is Tyr's son, talks about you constantly. He talks about how Aunt Arabelle saved the world. He idolizes you, you know?" The priest chuckled as he remembered a story. "Let me tell you a story."

Bishop had had enough. His eyes lit up with a golden light, and he held out his palm towards Bikins. "OUT!" With that, Bikins flew out of the Abbey, up the stairs, and into a wall.

Arabelle looked at him. "I can't lead like this though. I can't plan, I can't see anything that's happening." She was surprised to hear about Alex. "He likes me?"

Mr Bilkins flew through the air and felt the sudden stop of the wall behind him but was buffeted by his magical bag. He let out a gasp of air and fell to the floor. He was dazed and it took him a while to find his feet. His vision blurred and he felt a small trickle of warm liquid descend down his neck. Reaching his hand back there, he withdrew it to find blood on his hand. "Jeez"... He looked up at the figure in the stained glass "These are the kind of miserable fucks you hire nowadays?". He looked about himself and realised he couldn't find the jar he had offered to the girl and he needed it himself now. He was pissed. He picked himself up and marched straight back to the staircase and headed down into the room once more...

"Likes you? He is your biggest fan!" Bishop said with a laugh. "One day, I let Alex go outside to play with his wooden sword. Then, about five minutes later, I hear the sound of stone breaking. I ran outside to see if Alex was okay, because he was in the grave yard. When I reach the graveyard, Alex is standing there with a big grin, and the head of the statue of Saint Francis lying next to him. I say, 'Alex! What happened?'. And he says, 'I was fighting like Aunt Arabelle!' "

Arabelle giggled and felt better. "He'll be a wonderful fighter when he grows up. He's so cute too."

"Of course I'm cute!" A tiny voice ca,led from behind a couple of well placed boxes.

Mr Bilkins stormed back into the room, interrupting their conversation once more but he didn't care. He quickly saw the jar on the floor and walked over to it whilst pointing his stick at the man glaring at him once more. "NO!" He barked. "And that was a cheap move!" He eyed the man up as he bent down to pick up his jar. "You know, I was going to give this to you for free. I usually charge. You know how hard it is to get a Garnag liver!?" He blustered. Straitening up, he backed away toward the stairs. His eyes deadlocked on the priests. As he did he lowered his stick and dug a couple of fingers into the jar. He pulled them out out rupped the concoction on the back of his head where his head felt most wet from blood. "This stuff would have helped her eyes holes heal, but I guess you just want to sit there and hold her hand"...

[QUOTE="Paint The Wind]Arabelle giggled and said "Alex, come here."

He climbed over the boxes and went to sit with Arabelle, "I really did do that though. I don't know how but it was cool!" He said, patting her on the head. "You don't need to plan or fight that good cause your still cool!"

Arabelle smiled and hugged the boy hard. "I love you Alex. You're so sweet. Just like your parents."

"I love you too!" He said, throwing his arms around her, "By the way, you look really cool," He whispered, sounding as serious as a five year old could.

Mr Bilkins grimaced a little at the sight of the woman and child. It brought back feelings he been trying to bury. He softened a little. "Hmmm, you know folks, I am replete with many items, magical and otherwise. I am also well versed in the art of alchemy" he stuttered. "Maybe there's something I can do for your vision. Perhaps"...

Tyr woke up in his bed alone. After a minute of looking around, he figured that Bailey must have left to do something. As he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, he drew a bath, undressed, and grabbed a needle and thread. He had been cut pretty badly during the fight yesterday, and without Bailey, he had to sew himself up.

Tyr slipped into the bath and tied the string to the head of the needle. He winced with pain as the tip of the needle punctured the skin of his shoulder. As he wove the thread through the gash in his arm, the water in the bathtub turned a faint shade of pink. After finishing the job, Tyr bit the thread in half, and laid back in the tub. With a heavy sigh, he drained the tub, and got dressed for the day. After walking down the stairs, he looked around to see if anyone else was awake.

Annabelle was just floating around downstairs, fishing crooked pictures and dusting hight places while Alex was downstairs, and Bailey still in bed suffering from a migraine. Once she noticed Tyr she floated down to greet him. In a sweet tone, she said "Hi Daddy." She gave a soft smile, as she hovered so she could make eye contact with him.

Kathrine watched from the churches roof before a menecing group of people entered through the gates, and looked around as if they were looking for somebody, Kathrine instantly slid from the roof and back in the church, they wouldn't track her in here. She decided to go find Arabelle instead of freaking out. Seeing her with a kid downstairs, made her decide to not want to disturb them. She headed back upstairs and decided to just stay put, leaning against the wall instead.

Ari was out and Elaina woke up not too long ago, but after Ari had already left. She heard the beast roaring and the people screaming and automatically knew that Ari was out confronting whatever it was that was doing the roaring.

She fully up and mobile now. She was in a Church so her Holy Power amplified. She did her exercises of dance, which honed her moves as she was in the room alone. It was the same dance she did in a Holy Trance but she wasn't charging any magic with it

"Annabelle? Wha- why are you here? Shouldn't you be with your mother?" Tyr said, flabbergasted at his daughter floating in front of him. Last time he saw her, she had been guarding the body of Alreos. But she had ascended. "If this is about me having another child.."
