The demons targeting them before (6) turned their attention back to Ceralder and Bailey. These fireballs were bigger than before and 3 came at them.


A spider opened its mouth and shot spikes onto a stepping stone. The game was upped now

Bailey was clipped by two of the spikes. "Fuck!" She shouted. "Celader, move faster please!"

"Yes, hello, a but late don't ya think?" Bailey asked, keeping an eye out around her and Celader. "How is Tyr doing?"

"The same. He's still unconscious."

"Don't drop me," Bailey said, still a littLe on edge about him jumping.

"Didn't plan too," He said, Jumping another three.

The demons started dive-bombing, aiming to tackle them directly into the pit. 3 of them charged, one in front, left and right, while 1 blasted a fireball from behind


They weren't far enough yet for Ari to start going


The 2 demons came out of the pit and turned to Noam instead of them. Noam and Misty were edging closer to the end point. Noam kept jerking the demon around, now figuring out how to use it as a sponge to soak up the hits.


They passed the 50th stone

As Bastille, the giant knight, came up to the deep hole he jumped down. Through the reflective shines of his armor, he could be seen at the bottom. He waved to Katherine and beckoned her to jump down.

Katherine stared down the hole for a minute before gritting her teeth and sighed, she then hesitantly jumped down the hole.

Ceralder went back, grabbing hold of her hand. "Gotcha," He said. He lifted her up, cutting at a spider that had gotten hold of her.

GOAL!


Ceralder and Bailey crossed the safety line, a bunch of attacks bouncing off the barrier. About 4 divebombers crossed the line by mistake. They screamed and burned as they dissolved

Ari shot out with Elaina on his back, landing on stone 39. He leaped again, landing on stone 44. He had to stop to fend off the oncoming divebombers. Elaina was bashing demon heads with her staff

Ethan began taking off his armor. "We should actually go now.......but risky how?"

"How? well for starters the souls of the damned. What's going to stop them from trying to possess someone. Or are the effects exclusive to when the trap is sprung. Surely there must have been some risk in getting this trap set."

Katherine stared down the hole for a minute before gritting her teeth and sighed, she then hesitantly jumped down the hole.

She would fall quite a distance, but would hit a strange slimy substance that completely nullified the impact. Bastille had somehow produced a torch and held it up high, illuminating a grotesque creature of great size. It somewhat resembled a brain made of a mass of swarming tentacles. Covering the brain were countless tiny eyes that all focused on Katherine as she fell. It remained benign however, making a loud chittering sound and trying to scoot away using its short stubby legs.

Noam made the demon dive-bomb straight to the endpoint. The demon hit the ground near Ceralder and Bailey with a thud, burning until it dissolved. Noam stood up, laughing.........then starting to cry when the full effect of what happened, with getting burned by both fire and ice, dragged and slammed against a wall hit him, stacked with the fact that a fall meant certain death. Misty landed on his shoulder and touched his forehead, trying to comfort him


"Shit!"


11 demons rose out of the pit. "You're fucking kidding me!"


22 demons out and coming straight for them


"Master!" Misty shot back out to help


Ari jumped 3 stones, then had to draw Serenity. He fended off the webs. Fireballs were flying left and right

"Oh yea it was risk." Ethan was done removing his armor. It'd serve to reduce his weight as much as possible. "200 people got possessed and subsequently killed after it was built. It's why this place was reserved for traps only. It's not a normal part of the castle. It takes a month's worth of magic to arm this trap..........as for it possessing while on the stepping stones, the pit is too deep for the souls to come out."


He stood at the end, only his Var Dagger drawn. "Are you ready to go? I move fast."

Ethan got in Primal Stance. "Besides, nothing wrong with a couple of enemies........."


Ari ran in full force, taking 3 stones until getting to Stone 54 from 47.

Ari slashed fast and Elaina kept swinging her staff, deflecting as many fireballs as possible. Ari stumbled as he kept taking hits. Shit burned, but Elaina was on his back, so he couldn't turn around.


All the demons suddenly screeched at flew away from them...........


Ethan took off at his signature insane speed, bounding over stones so fast that some of them didn't have time to activate. He made it to stone 20, only activating 2.

"WE'LL KILL YOU, YOU RODENT BASTARD!!" Both the souls under and the demons flying at him screamed. After 3 runs already, Ethan was basically a troll now. He stood on stone 20 and hit a dance to taunt them
