Fantasy The Return of Corruption

[QUOTE="Safety Hammer](I am absolutely flattered that you consider me on par with a god. Also, How did you like episode one of Cowboy Bebop? The theme is the best thing ever.)

(It's awesome, although at the moment I'm watching Fooly Cooly)

Tyr looked at the group. "I guess it's a sleep over, then." Tyr said as he looked at the group. "I never thought I would say this again, but I'll set up tents outside. I'm pretty sure that Ari and his kids don't have a house here, and neither does Dean." Tyr walked outside, made a fire, and started to build the tents.

(GTG for tonight peeps. I'll be on at about noon)
(Same. That's why I am setting up tents.)

After a couple of minutes, Tyr came back inside. "Alright. Now, let's all get to bed, shall we?" Tyr picked up a sleepy Alex and laid him in his bed, but not before he sweeped up the glass and nailed a couple of boards where the window was. "Let's get to bed honey." Tyr said with a yawn. "I set up a tent for you too, Arabelle, of you don't want to travel home." With that, Tyr walked to the bedroom, got undressed, and got into bed.

Bailey followed Tyr, and did the same, just taking off her pants because she hadn't put on a proper shirt, still just in her black tank top. She crawled into bed and curled up next to Tyr, pulling the blanket up to her chin.

Sakaga had followed everyone outside, making sure Arabelle had followed too. She looked up when she heard a song beig played and purred, tugging on Arabelle's skirt (or pantleg) and walking over to Dean and lay down to listen to him.

Bailey had tossed and turned for the past two hours, her sleep being bothered by a terrifyingly vivid nightmare. Suddenly, she sat bolt up right, her breathing quick and shallow. She raised a shaking hand to her chest, and placed it above her racing heart. "I'm still...alive," she reassured herself. Something fell on her arm, so she quickly wiped the tears from her eyes, only then reliazing she must have been crying in the nighmare. She slowly got up and put on a loose pair of pants meant for sleeping in, but she rarely wore them to do that. Bailey quietly exited the room after grating a small key. She walked into the quiet house, a small chill in the air from one of the doors being open all night so people could come in if they needed. She walked to a room only she knew was there, and unlocked it. The smell of ink, parchment and dust met her, along with an unusual warmth. The room was filled with papers, maps, books, and writing supplies. She closed the door, the nightmare was still fresh, and she could still feel the terror she had been submitted too. She slid down the door, pulling her knees to her chest, and just sat there.

Tyr rolled in the bed until he noticed that he was alone. He opened his eyes and looked around. Empty. Tyr slowly got up and opened the door, to see Bailey sitting on the floor. "Bailey?" Tyr said, rubbing his eyes. "What happened?"

Bailey looked up, and smiled, "Nothing, I woke up a little bit ago and just couldn't get beck to sleep," she lied, someting she was rather good at. She stood, brushing dirt off her pants and giving Tyr a kiss on the cheek. "Sorry if me leaving woke you up."

"Well, what can I say? Sleeping is not the same without you, baby."

"Wow, such a charmer," she said, adding a little smirk. "I'll be in the bathroom, you can go get Alex up," she said, walking off. She shut the door behind her, and closed her eyes. What's new this time? She thought, thinking back over the dream. A few details, a new scene, another death. She sighed, and drew herself a bath, and got into it. The quiet of the room, only let her go into more though aboutn the repeating nightmare. Bailey has been having the same night mare for the past year and a half, and see still doesn't know what it means, the only thing she is sure about, is that it doesn't end well.

Arabelle woke up early as well because she had a nightmare as well. She left her tent and sat outside, leaning against a tree. She saw a paper on a different one and walked forward. It was a notice saying she was wanted dead or alive.

Tyr waked into Alex's room and saw that he was still sleeping. So he thought that he would do something a little risque. Tyr walked into the bathroom and walked over to the bath. "Alex is still asleep. Are you getting out of the bath soon?"

"Possibly," She smirked. "And I did say get him up, he has a few lessons with the little girl next door. Apparently they both have the ability to control fire. She's a little more advanced but it's keeping him from stetting the town on fire," Bailey said, rinsing her hair.

"Maybe we could see if Ari could train him today." Tyr said, feeling the water. It was still warm. "You need a towel?"

Arabelle looked at the paper that had a spot on drawing of her. The money offered was very good, so she knew a lot of people would be out to kill her. She had to step down, she couldn't endanger her friends.

"Yeah, there should be on somewhere," Bailey said, looking at her husband. In the most recent nightmare, it was him who lost his life, and not a very pleasant way. "Mommy?" Alex called from his bedroom, rather sleepily. "Go check on him, and get the others up. I'll make breakfast once I'm dried off."

"Hey buddy." Tyr said as he walked is the door to Alex's room. "How about you get dressed, and I'll show you how to use that sword today?"

Ari woke up in his tent. He had chosen to sleep outside for the night. He originally wanted to get a room not too far from where Tyr set up a few tents, but Elaina wanted to sleep outside with him, so they did.

Elaina and Noam were already up and mobile

Ari didn't feel like cooking this morning and he definitely didn't want to use up Tyr's supply, so he took them to a restaurant and they ate their breakfast there.

When he got back, he noticed the beast (Qin Tarak) from before. The paralyzing toxin was worn off, but Lexi still constricted it faithfully and without question. Ari took out a dagger and cut the beast, injecting it with more paralyzing poison. This one was dormant, activated at Ari's will. "Go hunt Lexi." Ari said, activating the poison. Lexi left, but the beast would be paralyzed once again.

"What is this?"

"It's a cave beast. Rare and worth a fortune. It's the same beast that attacked Sakuga yesterday"

"Will you train it?"

"Yup, and if it's a lost cause, I'll sell it for a fortune."

Ari walked over to the Paralyzed beast and turned the paralysis down a bit, allowing it to make sounds and little movements, but nothing really offensive. "You hungry, beast?"

Arabelle stared at the sheet and walked over to Ari. "Ari I'm being hunted. I can't lead you guys this time. I need you to. I will only bring needless danger."

Tyr got dressed in his leathers and grabbed a sparring sword. "Come on, Alex! Are you ready to train?"

Ari looked at the sheet. "I don't know about the rest of the team, but if you won't lead us, then I'm not going. Period. If you can take on mages, giant trolls, and world destroying demons, a couple of bandits and mercenaries shouldn't be able to do shit............Plus, I won't allow you to go down regardless of the mission."

Tyr flipped the the sword in his hands and stepped outside, singing a little rhyme he learned in Kains.

"There's a destination a little up the road

From the habitations and the towns we know

A place we saw the lights turn low

Jig-saw jazz and the get-fresh flow

Pulling out jives and jamboree handouts

Two turning tables and a knife alone

Bottles and cans and just clap your hands and just clap your hands.."

"Why wouldn't you let me? I'm not of much worth to anyone but Sakaga who I could leave with Eliana since she's so in love with her."
