Fantasy The Return of Corruption

[QUOTE="Paint The Wind]"I don't know what I want. I'm lonely yes, but I'm afraid. And I don't want to force you into anything."

Ari heard her while he was walking out and stopped. He smiled. "After 5 years, my lens has dulled. Another adventure may clear it up.......but it's about what you want, not anyone else. Maybe you need another death march to figure out what you want."

As Tyr walked passed the two to pour himself a drink he remembered something. "Fuck! I almost forgot! Arabelle, I forgot to give you something!" Tyr ran into his room and rummaged through his bag.

Tyr came back with a package wrapped in brown paper. "I can only imagine that I've missed a few birthdays, so I thought this could make up for it. I made it myself in my downtime." He handed it to Arabelle.

@Paint The Wind

It was a wooden leg, carved from the wood of a birch tree. Tyr blushed and rubbed the back of his neck. "It's the least I could do for the person who brought me and Bailey together. I just hope it fits."

Arabelle covered her mouth with her hand and her eyes welled up with tears. She threw her arms around him and thanked him profusely. "Oh Tyr! This is perfect!"

[QUOTE="Safety Hammer]"In between fighting for your life and healing the sick and wounded, you have a lot of time on your hands."

Arabelle let go of Tyr and wiped the happy tears from her eyes as she attached the leg to her stump. She tried to walk on it and stumbled at bit but managed to walk without falling. She threw her arms around Tyr again, continuing to thank him.

Ari looked at Arabelle trying to walk with the leg. It seemed to be expertly carved. However, it looked to be normal wood. "Impressive. Truly so......Not to be 'that guy,' but she has no nerves in her legs since it was chopped off, so she has no way to move efficiently with it on...... If some magic is injected into it, it should be able to work perfectly."

Elaina could shine in something like this

[QUOTE="Paint The Wind]Arabelle looked at everyone in the room and was filled with such overwhelming joy. "Thank you all so much!"

"Keep it. Those in need shall never be overlooked by those more capable." she said, quoting her healing prayer. "My dad could learn a thing or two from the Priesthood Academy."

"Ahhhhh shush and do the deed."

Elaina giggled. She first looked at Arabelle's stump, then the wood. "I'll need some blood from the host to be spilled on the wood for me to bind them together."

Arabelle took out her sword and cut her arm, wincing. She held it over the wood.

(Just made myself a nice polish dinner. Kielbasa, sauerkraut, a baked potato, a slice of rye bread, and a glass of ginger ale. I am in heaven.)

Elaina nodded approvingly. "Good, now hold still while I bind the wooden leg to your body. It should feel exactly like your real leg did."

Noam interjected. "Let me help. I'll reinforce the wood to keep it from wearing or being cut off by the first sword that touches it."

"Aye, now go ahead. The blood's not getting any wetter."

They both inhaled and started reciting incantations/prayers. "I come to you naught but a humble priestess in training with a hero in need. She who has vanquished ancient evils with the price of her leg. I ask you to grant her a well-earned second chance with a new leg........."

"Let my voice transcend the past and the future to deliver these words: Let this old wood withstand the tests of time, the winds of storms, the strikes of swords. This wood shall be reinforced with the shields of the God themselves........."

Arabelle's body burst with 2 types of magic. It gave off 3 strong smells: The smell of vanilla from Elaina and the smell of flowers from Noam, as well as the strong smell of the wood.

(I had stir fry. But like seriously, are you Try irl?)

(Noop. My mom's side is 100% Polish, while my father's side comes from the United Kingdom and Scandanavia. My Grandmother (mom's side) taught me to cook. And polish food is amazing, so yeah. If you didn't already know, Tyr is the Norse god of War and bravery.)

(I am absolutely flattered that you consider me on par with a god. Also, How did you like episode one of Cowboy Bebop? The theme is the best thing ever.)
