The beginning spells for the mage class will be the The Tome of Flame (basic fire magic) and Tome of Frost (basic Ice magic). But think of this like starting a new Skyrim play through, once you get the gold, you can buy other, better, spell books. That make sense?

Oh it's just taking the "buy your own gear" aspect D&D has, nothing too much more so you don't need to know any mechanics.

oh dear cx well, I'm sure you can handle it, once you've decided who you'd like to accept I'm sure the small number of people will make it a bit easier rather than having 17 characters to keep track of!
