Bio: "So you wish to know my story? Well I hail from a family of royalty I was set to be the next king and my family had a princess picked out for me. As far as I knew my life was fine. Me and her loved one another and the only spats between us were clothing options. But I guess for my kingdom we were not meant to last. One of our neighbors had decided to break a truce and had been building an army in secret. And on the day of me being crowned king they invaded. My brothers and sisters were the first to go... Slaughtered like animals. Despite my fathers wishes I chose to stay with him and fight. But in the end we were overwhelmed and were to be killed. First my mom had her throat cut, My father was decapitated. But my love I never saw. And when they went to me they got a crossbow and aimed it to my face. And the last thing I saw as a human was the bolt being fired. That day I should've died
But in another twist fate had more in store for me. I woke up to find myself in a chamber with dried up bodies surrounding me and a single women still alive. She stood near a mirror yet I saw no reflection of her. And her mouth contained two sharp fangs, and I was not present in that mirror either. I was no longer a human, I had become a vampire. Something I had always believed to be a myth. And the women had chosen to turn me for some reason. Even I don't fully know the reason but she gave me a chance at revenge. And told me of Ravinia the place that had robbed me of everything. But as she said I had to be cautious. As a single vampire I stood no chance so I chose to build up my power.
Days became years as she taught me the dark arts and gave me a weapon with which to fight. It was 200 or so years when she left me. According to her she had done her job and was moving elsewhere. But not before she named me. I had to ditch my old name in favor of Rune. The name of Elgin belonged to a human prince who had long since passed. In his place I stand ready to topple Ravinia. And I will not stop till I'm on that throne. And crush those who stand in my way.

Spells & Magic:
Darkness: A cloud of darkness forms. The darkness from this spell is so thick that most species with darkvision cannot see through this. In truth it's just an escape spell so long as the caster is not in it.
Blight: A dark spell that drains the life from it's target. The damage is not instant but even the smallest amount of damage could mean some of your life force could be drained, you don't want that.
Bane of light: While not offensive this spell is capable of snuffing out most forms of light.
Mist: A spell that turns Rune into a cloud of mist. This is his escape spell and while in it he cannot be hurt unless there is light magic involved.
Blood Sapper: A spell that is powered by blood. The spell at first forms as 8 projectiles of pure blood. These projectiles are homing and if they make contact they will trap the opponent as they form a cage around the target. The cage acts as a sapper of any form of magic and continuously damages the opponent. At the end should Rune choose to the spell can end with all of the cage blowing up.
Weaknesses:
In truth Rune is not a head on fighter. He relies on blindsiding the enemy. Take away any means for him to be able to hide and you are good.
Most vampire weaknesses apply. A stake can paralyze him if you miss his heart.
He hates fighting all by himself and constantly fears what sort of monster the people see him as.
