Fantasy The Random Hotel

Startled Myra squints her eye at the bright orange blur in front of her. "Hello? Im Myra, I got separated from my team and dont know where I am. Can you help me? I thought I smelled the ocean, but thats impossible. Right?" Myra begins to shiver with cold and a little bit of fear.
Casey tried her best to answer the woman's questions:

"Well, if help means helping you find your way around here, yes, I can, you're at the Hotel, and yes, you probably did smell the ocean. It's not impossible; the Hotel is located at a beach."

Myra becomes frantic with fear. "No, no, no, no, no. I am not AT a beach. What do you mean a hotel? There are no hotels in the rain forest! People dont just transport from place to place." She begins to pace the room back and forth. "Oh I must have hit my head and Im hallucinating." Myra smiles sickly at Casey before whacking herself over her own head. "Another jolt should fix this."

"Probably won't. I've been at the Hotel for a few days, and it hasn't gone away when I hit my head. And no, the Hotel isn't in a rainforest. When I got here, I was lost along some back road in the U.S.A."

Myra nods shaking her head. Her vision has cleared almost completely now. "You're right, the whack in the head didnt work. I really am at a hotel. There must be a scientific explanation for it though, I just have to look." Determined she pushes past Casey and heads back downstairs towards the elevators. Her stomach begins to rumble half way there. Shyly she turns back to Casey. "Actually, umm, I am sort of hungry. Do you think you could show me where I could get some food?"

At the cafe Narissa was enjoying her cup of coffee. Black, just how she liked it. How strong! They really know how to make quality coffee here! Narissa went on about the coffee a little bit longer. Narissa could hear some commotion hear the front of the hotel; near where Gu and the check in desk is. What a waste of coffee she thought as she hastily gulped down her coffee to go investigate. Narissa got up and paced herself to the front where she heard the commotion.

As Narissa entered the room with the check in desk she noticed Casey with an concerned look on her face conversation with a girl with long black dreads. A new guest perhaps? She soon notice that the girl had begun whacking herself on the head. Oh my....What on earth is she doing? thought Narissa with much concern for the girl. "...when I hit my head. And no, the Hotel isn't in a rain-forest. When I got here, I was lost along some back road in the U.S.A." She overheard Casey's part of the conversation. Narissa stood in the door way watching the two conversant not wanting to interrupt. The Girl shock her head and started blabbering about something having to have a scientific explanation. After, pushing past Casey to head down stairs. "Well, perhaps i'll meet her later..." Thought Narissa slipping back into the other room.

Narissa started the trip back to her room when she saw some flyers plaster in the walls. Huh, haven't seen these here during my stay Muttered Narissa reading the poster. Attention Guest Miss.Sha'tana will be hosting a party tonight please come dresses for the occasion... Ooohh, a party ! Sounds like a lot of the guest will be there... With that Narissa made haste to her room to prepare for the occasion ...

"Yes, I can. The restaurant is downstairs. Do you mind being served by robots?"

Ezekiel closed the door behind him. "That went suprisingly easy.." Muttered Ezekiel and ventured down the hall to his own room.
"I'm sure the next thing to attack are zombies... It always needs a zombie outbreak.." Ezekiel took the crumbled piece of paper from his pocket and studied the incantations written.
A shriek could be heard below. Again. Artemis exited her room and asked Ezekiel: "Do you know if there's any spell to block out one thing and nothing else? There's been this odd intermittent shrieking going on and it's been driving me nuts."

Ezekiel turned around. "Hmh? Oh the sound. Demon hounds, I don't know which race though." He pondered what he said for a while before looking back at Artemis. "Well. Not one thing. But it will make louder noises quieter without affecting other noises. Basically wearing ear muffs or something.. Reverse Aworsh(hsrowa) and then Kaison, Don't reverse Kaison. You might just create a burning skull."

"So, could you help me with working it?"

eventually Luna woke up and headed down to the restaurant. she saw the fliers as she past and groaned. she didn't have anything for the occasion to wear besides her other ragged outfit that she had worn on the way here.

Myra follows Casey to the restaurant. Robot servers...? What kinda crazy place is this? She looks around curiously as they enter the restaurant. True enough there are robots serving various...people. Myra notices a girl with dark hair and strangely golden eyes siting at a table looking sad and gives her a small wave. Myra sits a table and orders ((is it morning?)) breakfast/lunch from a robot identified as 12. I still feel like Im dreaming... Suddenly a loud shrieking sounds from somewhere. Myra jumps "What the hell is that?!"

Ezekiel nodded. "Sure.. We can do it in my room.. It already have incantation circles. And I still need a shirt. " Ezekiel lead them both to his door.

He turns to Artemis. "It is full of incantations, runes, sigils and such.. It is also boarded up.. Can't have the sun ruining anything.." He opened the door. "Did you notice the flyers? Seems like Sha'tana wants people dressed for quite a party.."

Narissa stepped out of the bathroom hair curled and make up on. She padded over to her closet, the one she asked Gu to get for her from home. She wasn't quite sure how he did it. But he came through and she had her clothes so she didn't ask questions. She started digging throught her cloths until she came to a knee length navy blue cocktail dress. It had a sweet heart neckline and below the waist it was bunch and ruffled. This should do for Miss.Sha'tana's party tonight thought Narissa removing the garment from the closet and setting it on the bed. Narissa then started scavenging through the bottom of the closet and removed a pair of navy blue pumps. Narissa hung the dress on the back of the door with ease and placed the pumps at the base of the bed. This was the first time she would be getting the chance to wear this dress she had gotten for her birthday and she was beyond excited.

Narissa pulled a chair up to the window and pushed the window open letting in a gust of wind.
It sure is windy tonight...Mumbled Narissa plopping down in the chair enjoying the nice weather and view. After a few moments of watching the sea's waves washed on shore then off and listening to the rhythmic rhyme of the oceans pitter patter. There Narissa eventually slumped her head on the window seal and fell asleep. Her alarm reminding her to leave on time was to go off half an hour from now...

Artemis was already interested. She had not packed a party dress, as she didn't expect anything but a hunt, but she could improvise.

Sha'tana was flying around the pool area setting up the lights and decor. She was almost done. Each tree had several candles hung upon them. She placed several lights along the floor and sparkling submersible lights within the pool. Robots 83, 22, 43, 12, and 11 were putting the finishing touches on tables, and preparing delicate meals. Sha'tana knew this party was a bit last minute, but she really wanted to have it and have fun. Mr. Algor stood quietly at the Grill Bar. Since Sha'tana is giving free drinks to everyone, he mentally prepared himself for the amount of work she will be bringing on to him. Thankfully, she assigned 22 and 12 to assist him when the bar was bombarded. The rest of the robots either catered to tables or walked around with unique dishes that not everyone should try.

He stood there, well, on the ceiling that is as he was reading down the fliers that she was posting up. Casually walking on the ceiling to wherever Sha'tana was nearest, his shadows worked like extra hands going everywhere as he helped around in decorating the place, as humans sweatdrops to see him up there once more. His eyes would narrow, he wasn't that big in parties, but if the Lady would want to make this happen, he would gladly comply.

Just that, this means, he has to find something to wear. His eyes slit with that, and a dark groan came along as he held his head slightly and huffed. Great, he thought to himself.

Looks like he's off to find something to wear. Or at least, make it.

Yeah he wasn't good in social gatherings.

Caspian was swimming for a long time. He had no idea where he was going or if he's even going to make it. He was at the bottom of the sea. It was very dark, but his body emitted a slight glow. This gives him a clue about his kind, and where they're possibly hiding. Suddenly, he saw a hotel under the water. This must be it! he was mentally jumping around with joy. He swam towards the entrance. The moment he entered, his body plopped to the ground. Wait a minute... he noticed he was breathing air. Some fish splattered around him. He looked around in shock. "How did the hell did this place get underwater?!" he said aloud. He heard music in the distance. Was a party going on? Caspian's mind was full of questions. Finally, his human legs returned and all his Merman markings disappeared off his skin. An old Asian man stood patiently holding out keys to Caspian. "Zero, zero, zero, two" he read to himself softly. He stood up and took the keys, "Umm, my room?" The Asian man, Gu, nodded in response.

Caspian began to walk to his room. He saw behind him Robots where cleaning the wet floor, and followed him while cleaning.
This is strange... he concluded.

The party has begun. Sha'tana saw some guest enter the area she decorated and heard them gasp in awe. She bowed down to them respectively. "Is that the attire we were to come in as?" a couple asked in reference to Sha'tana's clothing. Her skin brightened bashfully, "Oh, no, no... I'm going to change now." She rushed off to her room and changed into a long black, halter-top dress. It had a slit at the side of her right leg. She wanted to look striking. Not only for her guests, but for Hex. I don't think he notices those kind of things... she rolled her eyes at the thought. She placed some dramatic make-up on her face with some exotic designs one of her guests taught her. She was ready, "Better late than never." She said to herself.

She stepped outside and mingled with some guests. "Hello," she would say, "How was your stay?" She usually gets typical, short responses. She sat by the Grill Bar. Mr. Algor looked stressed, "Relax, there's not that many guest here yet." She gave out a chuckle. She looked around watching guests come in. Her some of her robots walked about offering appetizers. Sha'tana's eyes kept wondering. She was hoping to spot one particular man.

Stained glass eyes, that once light hits it the colours gets reflected to any surface she looks open in her vision. Long light coffee brown hair or pale pink, her skin of milky peach white. She wore a long and beautiful white dress, walking down the hallways of the hotel with a soft smile. Fliers were nearly everywhere, and everytime she took a step beautiful rose blue petals were falling from her dress but would only vanish on the floor after a few seconds.

Stopping for a while, till she saw some people passing by, dressed up here and there, excited, really excited. Her stained glass eyes gleamed from the sight, the party was such a big event somehow. And she felt herself grow excited. Sighing softly, she looked down at her plain white dress and grips to it with a small smile, she was around 5'4ft tall, so she was already quite short, she only sighed at this once more. She doesn't have any good clothes to wear to it.. and it wasn't long before she felt out of place. She lifted her head to look at everyone passing her by as if she didn't exist, the white gold chain around her neck though, would only gently glint and glow. Hiding what it adorned in her dress. Her rosy blood red lips accents on her skin.

..Should.. I go...I wonder... she thought to herself in ponder.

Hex..

Well..

Hex.. was on the ceiling... he was.. well.. he didn't know how to enter into such social gathering. He mumbled darkly to himself, he isn't even dressed! He was quite angry now, which explains why the shadows nearly spiked due to his temper. But then he sighed, shaking his head slightly.
What am I going to do with myself? he thought frustratedly. Turning his head as he walked on the ceiling, he paused to see a young man in an English wear smiling up to him.

"Perhaps I can be of assistance...nothing to wear..sir?" an English man..

Hex only blinked, he recognized the tailor anywhere who loved to stay at the bar.
"..Simmons..."

Caspian went to his room and found a spontaneous white, button-down shirt and black slacks on his bed. Did they anticipate my arrival? he thought. Picking up the shirt, he then noticed that it was used; it smelled of cologne. He shrugged and changed into the abandoned clothes. The smell of the cologne suddenly gotten stronger. Ehh... this is horrific... he hoped that perhaps going outside would alleviate the strong odor coming from the clothing he borrowed.

Caspian exited his room and was among the 'party' people. It was a very relaxed environment. Nothing that he was accustomed to. He usually attended rowdy parties. This scene seemed more for adults-adults, not young adults such like himself.

"
Woah!" Caspian exclaimed as he saw a demon looking woman at the bar. He looked to his left; there was angelic looking girl floating about. She had long, light-brown hair with light-colored skin. She looked a tad bit under-dressed, similar to him, but still looked stunning. "A-are you a mermaid?" he asked the lady. If she answered 'yes,' he found what he was looking for, but if she answered 'no,' then he found some demonic suite.

Ezekiel reread the flyer he had taken to his room. "I'm no tailor, but I know a wicked good demonic one. She's not going to do anything." Ezekiel began drawing a circle on the wall "I guess we could wait with lowering the volume eh? Actually, this should help. Just remember to take them off if people are talking to ya' lass" Ezekiel rummaged in his pocket before picking up a piar of ear plugs. "I was going to use them on my visit to Baal, but I didn't had the time..." He finally finished the circle. "Alright, I'll be sending a message to Sha'tana that there is a crater on her hotel's roof and then I'll be calling Liliani. "

Ezekiel took out his pocket knife and pricked his finger, he soon after began drawing runic words horizontally from top to bottom on the circle.

"Id, Oxi, Eizol, Ainy, Piku" The room turned red as the portal opened up. "Okay.. Sha'tana, I don't know whether you'll receive a small burning pop up version of me infront of your face. But ehm.. I made a very big hole in your roof. Thats all! BYE!" Ezekiel laughed for a bit as the portal shifted to a orange color. "Oi, Lili, I know this is going to sound hasty.. Do you have a suit for me and a dress for a pretty lass? It's probably quite the fancy party." A few words in a language not understandable speaks out from behind the portal. "Okay, I owe ya'." Sure she did. Anyway. If you want something special with your dress just say it to the portal. It might just show hellscape but Lili can hear ya'."

“Oh Im sorry, Im Myra. And you are?” She seems really distracted as she watches one robot drop a tray of drinks and another robot quickly clean it up. She nods in reply to Casey and Luna telling her their names as a robot brings their order.

Myra eats silently watching as the room is catered to by way-too-advanced robots. Patrons keep coming in that look strange, many of them in fancy dress clothes. Maybe its one of those cos-play things Im always hearing about.Myra sighs suddenly feeling overwhelmed. "Excuse me,” she says absently to Casey. She gets up without waiting for a reply and heads back to her room.

As she approaches she notes a robot is just leaving. Frowning she enters the room to see a beautiful, but simple, forest green dress on the bed with a flyer advertising a party laying on top of it. Blinking down at her torn shirt and pants she shrugged throwing her hands up. “Everything about this place is crazy! Im crazy!”

Looking around she explores her room. The queen sized bed is covered in simple white bedding with a tiny green accent pillow. The furniture is well made out of what looked like beautiful cherry wood. Lining one wall were book cases, all filled with every subject of book she could imagine. Strange for a hotel room. This is just to my taste. I’d give it five stars if I knew where I was…and if it wasn’t for all the robots and weirdos. Upon closer inspection she finds undergarments, socks, a pair of flip flops, and three changes of clothes. On top of the clothes is a note that reads:

Myra,

Let a maid know if you need anything else. These clothes are all new, don’t worry.

Gu

Blinking at the note Myra shrugged again. Just go with it for now, Girl. Myra quickly showers, dresses, and heads down to the party using the map attached. “Wow,” she whispers to herself as she enters, “the flyer didn’t say anything about it being a COSTUME party! And these people must all be professional make-up artists or something. Some of these designs are so amazing.”

A passing robot with a tray of some unusual looking food passes by. Myra reaches for one, never one to shy from food, but the robot swings her arm away. “Pardon, these are not safe for humans,” it says as it wanders away. Myra rolls her eyes and heads for the bar. She orders a long island ice tea and then sits to watch the room.

The alarm with off with a shrill sound. Narissa's head bolted up from the window seal banging her head on the window door that had been blown in a little by the wind. OUCH! yelled Narissa then realizing she had yelled quickly covered her mouth to prevent any further noise from erupting from her mouth. She then removed a hand from over her mouth and begun rubbing her head. I need to be more careful around windows evidently... Muttered Narissa in a irritated tone. ...And that dumb alarm clock isn't helping she said as she got up and turned it off. I supposed i should change for the party Thought Narissa as she yawned. She changed into her dress with haste & slipped her shoes on and exited the room locking it behind her.

Narissa sat down at a high table by the pool and ordered a iced tea. From there she observed the party as she sipped on her tall glass of tea.
Perhaps i came to early thought Narissa with a sigh sitting at the table.

Casey headed to her room and unpacked the most fancy dress she had in the traditional style.

Arabic-Women-Clothing.jpg

She put it on and whirlwinded herself down into the party, near Myra. To Myra, it appeared as if there was a gust of wind, and then Casey appeared.

"Um. I'd like it to allow some freedom of movement."

In a moment of being surprisingly charitable, she asked Ezekiel: "You know the girl with brown hair and gold eyes? I don't think she has anything but rags. Can you get a dress for her?"

Ezekiel scratched his head before pointing three fingers up to the portal.. Shortly after two packages gets thrown to him from it. "Aight.. These are the dreses. Theres a picture on them. So Choose the one you like. Lili said not to worry about it fitting.. Demonic magic I guess? Huh.. Sha'tana is going to be jealous."

Ezekiel threw the two packages to Artemis. "Mine is going to take a bit longer I guess? Go find that girl you talked about. Nobody should miss the party. Oh and.. Lili likes it red."

Caspian took the young lady's response as a 'no.' He gave in to a sigh. Then... where am I? his lips were twisted to the side, unsure what to think of this unusual location. He saw an other lady sitting on her own drinking an Iced Tea. "Do you happen to be a mermaid?" he really wanted to hope this was where his people originated or at least partied at. Someone else here has to be a mermaid... he said to himself stubbornly. Maybe one of these creatures know where most Mermaids live... he pondered as he awaited Nerissa to answer his simple yet spontaneous question.

Of all people, Sha'tana thought the first person to arrive at the bar was Ezekial, especially since all drinks are free so long as the party is ongoing. Did he perhaps... didn't notice the flyers? with the amount of flyers 33 made, that seems impossible. Then, an other thought popped out of her head... Did he ever come back from the portal? Since Ezekial was a regular of her's, she was genuinely concerned. She stood up from the bar area and walked back into the hotel. "Gu," she began to say as she approached the reception, "What room is Mr. Serafino?" Gu pointed at an empty key hook that read, '0048.' She nodded then went to knock on his door. "Mr. Serafino?" she said as she waited outside his door. "Did you come back from visiting Baal?"

Ezekiel turned to the door. "That sounds like Sha'tana?" He went over and opened it. Although he didn't have a shirt on and his wings were still out. All this including Artemis was in his room too. "Hey Sha'tana. Something wrong? Is it the undead rising from their graves? I didn't do it."

Ezekiel turned just in time as a package hit him and the orange portal in his room closed. "Thanks Lili. Oh.. No picture of what suit I'm wearing? Well damn you too.." Ezekiel turned back to Sha'tana. "Yeah. Didn't you get the message? I'm back and I made a crater hole on the hotels roof... Sorry 'bout that."
