....ugh even through the headgear your intentions are obvious........

as most women would know, she could tell someone was eyeballing her for some odd reason or another. The very kind lieutenant though was helping her pick up her fruits. she felt embarased cause she knew they had better things to do, after all thats why people like her where there, to do everything else. " Thank you very much~! wouldnt want these to go to waste." She could hear the pleas of another beast, a small dragon like monster. .....haha cant fool me you little sneek...... she moved to the front of the caravan and gave a fruit to the more hungry papaopoamus just to make the little bugger wait. then she threw one guessing the dragon would catch it in the mouth.

..... uh oh..... that poor girls gonna get it from these muscle heads......

" Oh Hey! you made it! " she said getting closer to the two of them. she grabbed her hands with hers and shook them a little. " thank you for brining her here sir, Lieutenant" she told donar and albert. " shes the new help needed with the ranch. thank you again." she brought the girl with her and walked back to the main building. " Gee, that was close huh?" she said smiling. " Wanna get some breakfast? "

Kairi let out a yawn as she walked into the banquet hall. Her thoughts pondering back to the moment that offer tin headed man asked her join. Normally she would have refused the other with some snide remark about how the day she helps a tin head was the day hell froze over, but seeing as she had nothing to do and there wasn't any jobs on the bored, she might as well take the offer.

Her black eyes flickered around the room until a certain voice caught her attention. Not much the voice but when the voice said ' I can’t imagine them inviting someone like I and not also that woman with the stench of blood about her..' her eyes turned to see the bard and that other cocky bastard who is currently in the top 3 on her hit list. She came up behind the two silently. Her tone she spoke in had a bit of dark malice in it "What's this about woman without stench of blood?" Her eyes narrowed on the blind bard as her arms were crossed under her chest.

A man - who Ella heard the knight refer to as Al(@Bacon is fluffy) - squatted in front of her, hunching down to look smaller in size as he regarded her. He did not look any less intimidating but, at the very least, Ella could sense that he didn't bear any malice. But before she could utter a word to the man, her hands were clasped by a foreign but warm set of hands. A kind-faced woman with a pile of fruits wrapped in her arm was speaking to her, "...new help needed with the ranch." With a few brisk words, the woman whisked her away and towards the main building. Ella kept her mouth shut, even though she believed the woman had mistaken her for someone else. But all of this would provide a much-needed cover for her to snoop further, so she stuck to the situation that had literally popped out of nowhere. "Uh...yes. I'm Ella. Breakfast sounds great." She said, quickening her pace to keep up with the friendly woman. "What's your name?" Things were escalating fast, too fast to be processed, but Ella was determined to figure it all out. At the very least, her adventure had finally begun...

(@Andromeda Arc So Ella doesn't exactly know Leira but I suppose this is okay too?)

Leira Laramy

Where: Fort Milestone

When: Feusen 3rd 997 CYAD

With: Noella! @JayfeatherRaven

....hmm she seems confused......

leira knew better than to just read people she didnt know. even though no one could tell about it she still felt guilty, must be because of her good conscience and all that. even with that she could tell noella didnt exactly belong to this place, just about as much as she didnt belong. good thing her cover for her was that she coudl help around the ranch with the animals and such. if she told donar and mr bucket head that noella was a new recruit, it probably would have made things worse than they were.

" hehe Im Leira, ella. Leira Laramy. Nice to meet you~!" she said. they lined up for food and poor noella had to watch as leira filled her plate for her without even asking what she wanted. she probably knows what was good but still. to be safe she was giving noella only little bitty portions, but portions of everything! " so Ella, what really brings you here? my guess is youre here to make a request of some sort." she said with confidence. " no offense but yah dont seem the merc type you know what i mean? pretty girl like you shoulddt be doing this anyway. dont be fooled, i care for the animals in this here place is all."  they walked the aisle to find a place to sit and eat, but when they found one, someone was standing in the way. ..... oh come on, just sit down lady.........

" excuse me, can we pass thru? " she said to a girl standing in her way, who was talking to some people. @Kairikudo @Reinhardt @cokemonster

Belluam Sansuis

Where: Fort Milestone

When: Feusen 3rd 997 CYAD

Belluam, a strong angry woman, clad in heavy plate mail entered the fort with regiment of troops. She had just completed a previous mission and was back to make her report to the Master Commander. Belluam wore her iconic scowl and smirked that some troops had joked, was permanently formed on her face. Her face and parts of her armor were blood stained from battle, and hadn't had time to wash it off yet. As she walked towards the banquet hall, she scratched her cheek. A flake of crusted blood that was not her own. Huh... I need a bath.  Belluam she thought. As she neared the Banquet doors she held her arms out and pushed them wide open, as if to announce her presence. Belluam marched in, looking around and noticing a lot of new recruits. She sighed... "Damn new blood, more people to train, feed and cuddle till they toughen up." She said aloud not caring if any heard her. Belluam grabbed an apple to eat, passing by her colleague, Vice Commander Turian @Helral , and her subordinate Lieutenant Donar. She paid little mind to them. Belluam grabbed an extra apple and sneered as she eyed Donar @Jack Rakan . "Hey heads up Lieutenant!" She yelled as he chucked the apple at Donar. He instantly catches it without batting an eye. All Belluam does is smirk. "Hue hue hue, haven't lost your edge since I've been gone, aye big guy?!"  Belluam then continued towards the Master Commanders office. She stopped before his door and breathed deeply and attempted to wipe any blood off, trying to make herself presentable. Belluam knocked and cracked the door open. "Antarah? I've returned." She said in a whisper

Donar

Date: Feusen 3rd 997 C.Y.A.D.

8 am
Location: Fort Milestone

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Donar nodded to her. "It's fine." Finishing that up, was when a stowaway suddenly fell out of the cart he was on, making Albert even more frustrated that he didnt notice her either. Donar should have, but he was too busy relaxing.

When Leira jumped in between the girl and l, Donar silently watched the whole exchange. When she said the girl was the new help for the stables and animal's. Donar's eyes seemed to gauge he girls, seemingly knowing that it was possibly just a random girl who shouldn't be here, but if Leira is goig to stick up for her, then he would have no qualms.

"Due to my absence, i am not privy to this knowledge. So I cannot verify, but as Miss Laramy is a trusted person, i'

ll let it slide." he gave a knowing look at Leira ( @Andromeda Arc) but he was not really in a bad mood. Since he did finally get to blow up a ship with the defiant after so long.

"Alright, lets stow it all for now. i'm heading to the Hall, the rest of you also."

He left for the banquet hall eventually entering. He decided to mingle to the futher corners of the hall, looking over all the new people. Reminds me of the knight academy.. though less refined... he thought.

Just then, a slight tinge of bloodlust was directed at him, just then he heard his rank being called out a Heads up. Donar lifted his hand quickly to catch the object that was thrown at him. he looked at it seeing it was an apple, then that voice that he hasn't heard in a while saying that he hadn't lost his edge yet. He tuned quickly towards the voice, it belonged to the other Vice-Commander, Belluam Sansuis.( @MsPolite)

It seems that she has also returned from her mission. And as usual she comes back like that. "I am trained to be combat ready at all times. So i dont lose my 'edge'." he said the a respectful tone, yet annoyed, "And Vice-Commander Sansuis, for the hundredth time, please act according to your rank. You are supposed to be an example for the rest of the Nohrad Swords." he said just befire she made it to the Commanders office.

it seemed to always go this way whenever he met he VC, she would always act like it was fun and games. Though there was nothing wrong with it, sometimes she goes way too far in public, sometimes Donar worries for the reputation of the mercenary group.

Though he would say this, butr in reality shes a pretty ruthless fighter. He could compare her to some of the guards at his Master's mansion, but she was more battle hungry.

Plus, she has been here much longer than he has.

Donar sat down at a table nearby where he was standing. He then sat the apple in his hand down and looked on.

Antarah Genzah

Location: Fort Milestone, Norhad Swords Headquarters

Date: Feusen 3rd 997 C.Y.A.D. / 8 am

Character Stats: HP: TBD / SE: TBD / CCA: TBD

Before the Sun had risen, Antarah was already awake meditating on much that has occurred lately and that which is yet to come. It was a habit of his to do this, in fact it was something most dedicated Wayists did. If possible gazing upon a sunrise was said to give appreciation for the new day. Just as the brilliance of the sun shone onto ones face, so to would the glimmer of hope lighten the mundane and burdens of everyday life. He felt the weight of his on goals as each day passed. Five years it had been since he formed the Norhad Swords. Since then, he has yet to make effective changes. He has simply kept the forces that be at bay with his presence in this region. It was a defensive action, when in truth he wanted a more proactive approach. With 300 Wayknights his goals would be reachable within weeks. Now he is to lean on the support of a rag tag group of mercenaries, many of which still need training. And so years have gone by, people continue to suffer from the Blood War and his goals have been reduced to servicing the interests of a Kingdom that has no intention of involving themselves in the war.

In his office, as the fort was coming to life and individuals were going about their various assignments and duties, he was reviewing new requests from the Kingdom Affairs Office, the local villages nearby and other papers. He was supposed to meet everyone in the Great Hall to give out their assignments for the week. He was also considering a few more changes to positions within the guild. With the return of the Defiant and the acquisition of the Wings of Inverness more important undertakings could be accepted. Just then, a knock on his door draws his attention away. " Come." he says dryly. It was Vice Commander Belluam Sansuis. @MsPolite . She had just returned from a raid that was supposed to destroy a hideout of a group of marauders north of here that were plaguing a village by extortion, kidnap and property destruction. " Welcome back, Bell," he greeted her with relief using his nickname for her. He always referred to her by her name when not in the presence of others, as she did for him. " I trust the mission went successfully." he added.

For some reason, she requested a force of 100 men to accompany her in this latest endeavor. It was a sanctioned mission from the Kingdoms Affairs Office, however the need for more than half the guild was surprising. With the few dozens that were with him at Port City Victoria, that left Fort Milestone with only a handful of trained mercenaries and the families and livestock. " Before you report, how have you been? " he asked casually. Without the Defiant Airship and the need for 100 men, the Vice Commander needed to take all the Journeymen Caravans and both scout airships to completely field the force. They had been gone for 10 days. While he did ask it casually, he was slightly concerned. He understood, even if a little, the nature of her a person.

Belluam smiled a crooked smile a it seemed to be a struggle for her to genuinely smile when not drunk. Her cheeks were a bit flushed after hearing the commander use his little nick name for her. Bell... She sat down is a chair in front of Antarah's desk folding her hand son her lap. She knew well normally sitting down uninvited would be rude, but they were past petty protocol.

"Uh, Morning Ant. I am feeling... Refreshed. this Mission was relaxing and just what I needed. It had been sometime that I had been able to engage without restraint."  Belluam attempted to fold her legs but failed. Probably due to her armor. She sighed in defeat as she spread them wide like a man. "Now for the Report. The Mission was a complete success with minimal casualties, and two deaths. The Airship Defiant remains undamaged and we have brought back loot and spoils of war back. Unfortunately the village was razed. Most of the men of the village are dead. I had taken the initiative and taken the refugees back here to work the lands and hopefully provide a stable population to this fort. That is the end of my report Commander." Belluam tucked her hair behind her ear.  "Now how are you Ant? And who are all these new whelps? should I proceed to Break them in?" Belluam grinned a wicked grin thinking of all her training methods that she had developed based on her past experiences. They were tough, brutal, designed to break a mans soul and destroy the mind in order to reform it into a perfect soldier.

Cecil Sanger

Fort Milestone, Banquet Hall

Fuesen 3rd, 997 C.Y.A.D. / 8 AM

Guarded

Cecil cocked his head right, acknowledging the presence to belong to that very woman. It always struck a bad chord with Cecil when he didn't know who was in the room with him.It was something that would always be plaguing him, though it usually only happened once per person before he could "tag" them with their distinct presences. She had probably been in the hall even before his arrival. A bit rude, he thought it, to not greet him earlier. They'd only met once after all, so he could forgive this transgression in the hopes of salvaging the situation. He interlocked his fingers in a tent upon his lap, a move to prevent them from running over each other frantically. He worked to keep his personal annoyance and slight embarrassment under a veil of non-nonchalance. "Ah, just who I was referring to. Apologies, I couldn't recognize you until now. Don't fret my plain-speak. I think that distinct smell fits a warrior quite well." His smile became difficult to maintain, but he kept it up. "That boy of yours must be here as well, I take-"

"Excuse me, can we pass thru?"

Cecil immediately quieted at the unfamiliar voice from another approacher. There were actually two, the one behind the speaker giving off a more meek air than the first. The speaker was female, and smelled like sh-... well. It would be polite to say feces. It was very faint, probably just remnants embedded on the soles of her shoes, but to Cecil it was still quite invading. The distinct musk of animal fur that may belong to the papaopamus he'd heard while making his way through the fort affirmed his initial thoughts of why there was the feces attached to this girl. The distinct musk betrayed the fact of  her being either a latrine-handler or a stablegirl or something of the like. The myriad of other smells emanating off the packed plate she or the girl behind her was holding might indicate yet more recruits, or simply a late diner going about their business.

For now, Cecil only remained silent, almost statue-like as he discerned as much as he could.

Grifyn Varelle

Banquet Hall, Fort Milestone

Feusen 3rd, 997 CYAD - 8 AM

Grifyn did not even bother to respond. He simply listened, and as he had expected, the subject of the conversation has appeared. After all, it was common knowledge, not to speak of the devil, else, it shall come to you without you knowing it.

Before Grifyn could even say a thing, the bard has replied to the crazy woman. This bravery shall not go forgotten in Grifyn's book. Talking to this woman was fine, but talking back to her, that's entirely a different thing.

Surprisingly, the words that came out of the bard's mouth seem to be tipping the scales to their favor. It is far better to lie, than to tell someone the horrifying, hit list-inducing truth. Although the bard's words seem to carry a hint of sincerity in them, Grifyn felt that the bard was simply trying to get the crazy woman away from them, or more specifically, her.

A thumbs up would have been gestured by Grifyn, but he chose to do something far more different. And a whole lot more dangerous.

“Yeah.", he intervened, as a devilish smirk slowly formed on his face. “What she said. Where's your little boyfriend? Still sleeping on the bed after that rough night?"

Before he could go on, a bunch of new people have arrived. It seems that they want the crazy woman to step aside and give way for their path. And knowing that the crazy woman is easily aggravated, Grifyn expected something interesting to occur right before his eyes once more.

" Yes, I thought you might." he responded when saying that she was refreshed from engaging in a miniature war. She reported that her mission was a success. Of course, that only meant the marauders were dealt with and would not return. With the loss of the village and the deaths of many innocents, it did not feel like justice was served, only revenge wrought out upon the evildoers. " Please give me the names of the dead, I would like to personally write the letter of Honor to their families or relatives." he said. Although Antarah may not have known every single person that worked under him as well as Belluam, he was immensely grateful for their contributions. Even when the motivation behind their contributions were, material gain, family support or other, they chose to be part of the Norhad Swords above other opportunities. He would always take on this responsibility himself, it was the least he could do to honor the memory of those who made a great sacrifice for his cause.

" I will have some people divide the loot in two parts. Half of the first part will be taken for Guild purposes. While the other half will be divided among the soldiers you brought." he said to her. It was customary to give a bigger portion to those who had a hand in the actual mission, and as usual a part of the loot would be used to further fund their efforts in the region. " The rest of the loot will be given to the refugees and survivors." he paused for moment and got out of his chair. He stared into the window behind his desk into the distance, presumably the direction where the village lay waste. " They need a means to rebuild and relocate. While we can accommodate some here temporarily, it would not be good to keep them in harms way." Antarah would always take into consideration those under his care, his soldiers, the refugees and others. He turned around to face her once more. " If any should have cause for complaint, tell them they can speak directly to me." he ordered. He knew without a doubt some men would grumble that 'their' loot was going to the people they saved. Compensating the rescued rather than the rescuer. However as Antarah saw things, the mission was not a complete success. To him, the loot was being given back to their rightful owners, and if not, compensating them for their loss.

" You did well, Bell." he remarked. In his eyes, she did her job as well as any soldier would. " Don't mind me, I am fatigued of late. We do have some new ones here don't we? A few have joined us from Port City Victoria upon our return. I am sorry to do this now that you have returned, but if possible I need to count on you for the next mission. " he sighed looking at the documents. " Kingdom Affairs Office Sacntioned." he waved the letter to her.

Kairi brow quirked up hearing what the bard had to say, her expression seemingly calm until Grifyn opened his mouth. She looked at him hearing him refer to Cecil as a girl.

"She? Are you referring to the bard? If that is who you are referring to then you're dumber than you look." She stated bluntly before slapping her hand on cecils chest, a little harder than she meant, "this is a boy. See how flat the chest is, and listen to how deep his voice is. And what boyfriend are you talking about? Do I really seem like I have the time or interest to date anyone?" She said with an annoyed expression before looking over at the girls asking her to move. Yes Kairi does have a bit of a temper, but the girl wasn't rude when she asked, nor did Kairi see a dirty look from her "go right through" she said stepping aside for the girls to pass.

Belluam sansuis

Location: Fort Milestone- Master Commander's Office

Date: Fuesen 3rd 997 C.Y.A.D.

A whirl of emotions blew threw Belluam. She loved the praise that Antarah, in fact craved it sometimes... obsessively. But anger began to swell as he continued. Give away the loot that they fought for? Outrageous. Sometimes Belluam did not agree with the Master Commander's decisions. And hi sense of justice? His idea of it; ludicrous. They had avenged the village, that was justice. To bathe in the blood of those that have done you wrong  was all but electric pleasure to her. His Justice was all but non-existent. Belluam's lips curled into a deep frown. Many times as Antarah spoke, Belluam tried to interject, but she held her tongue. Keep calm girl, Don't lash out at him, not him. She kept repeating in her thoughts. She shifted in her seat, crossing her arms and closing her legs. But then as he stood up and complimented her again, her features soften. Belluam stood up as well taking a piece of paper, detailing all the deaths and casualties. Belluam then moved towards Antarah and clasped his shoulder. "Antarah you can count on me." She sighed letting go her rage. There was no point. He knows best and was a better judge of situations. Belluam let go then stood at attention saluting. "I will have everything done asap Master commander. I will take my leave." Belluam then began to leave. But before she closed the door as she left she turned and said "Ant, you know you can always come to me when you need to. I here as a friend and a subordinate." then she closed the door and headed  out to distribute the spoils of war.

Antarah Genzah had gathered all the members of the Norhad Swords in the great hall. This area was the main reception hall of the Milestone Castle. It was capable of hosting nearly two hundred people when needed and was usually reserved for gatherings of noblemen or festivities like a wedding. It was time to assign everyone their Half Week missions, give a few announcements regarding the current state of affairs for the guild and inspire the troops to action. Vice Commander's, Belluam Sansuis @MsPolite and Turian Kuhaku @Helral were to his left and right respectively. Lieutenant Donar @Jack Rakan was to the side and behind of Turian. Field Captains were lined up in the front with the rest of the mercenaries in straight rows behind them. Antarah stepped forward and addressed the Crowd.

" Comrades! It is a new week, and we are looking forward to your continued service as a member of the Norhad Swords Mercenary Guild. We welcome back Vice Commander Belluam Sansuis who has completed a raid on the Marauder bands that were plaguing various towns near Jergon Lake. We also lost two good soldiers on that expedition. Their deaths mean a great deal to each of us. Vice Commander Turian and Lieutenant Donar have finished the refurbishing of our newest Scout Airship, the Wings of Inverness. We will be putting it to good use in the coming weeks ahead. " he continued on in this manner explaining new acquisitions, future assignments and giving a general welcome to newer recruits. He then proceeded to assign the missions to the Field Captains one after another.

" Captain Daniels take care not to flirt too much with the village women. I had a number of complaints the last time from the men. He then signaled Belluam to follow him.

" I am sending you on a mission with the team of people I just sent to the Argyle Ranger. Please head over there to get a sense of the people who will be under your command. I will be there shortly to send you on your way. " he whispered to her.

Albert Dae'dium Mood: Dumbfounded Goal: wait for further orders

Date: Feusen 3st 997 C.Y.A.D. / 8 am

Al arose from slowly after the intruder was pulled away by the unfamiliar, but seemingly disingenuous woman( @Andromeda Arc). Had he been alone, the scene would have very well been different. For it was no secret that this girl( @JayfeatherRaven) followed the stable girl with as much curiosity as he had upon discovering her presence. Yet she was being hauled off by someone who was now deliberate and coordinated. It was ringing danger bells for the girl, something Al would have acted on in any other circumstances with the exception of Donar's ( @Jack Rakan) reluctance. If his superior officer had an inkling of the woman, then obviously he felt as if she was in good hands. At the order to meet in the Great Hall, the giant bell hanging over the main gate began to chime.

Angled-Bell-Inside-The-Leaning-Tower-Of-Pisa.jpg

It was a gift from before a great cathedral in Maxwell belonging to the Great Spirit Organization, as a symbol of peace between Maxwell and Welyn during the tumultuous era of the trueblood wars. A sign of solidarity and unity when the peoples of the northern kingdom were paranoid about the flames of war spreading from Lanark and Adanaque. It was a sign to show that even during these times, the sacred beasts and the order of the way in Welyn would stand together with Maxwell in their time of need. And ofcourse, in the hope that Maxwell would return the favor. Al stood in the shade for a moment and gazed as the bell as it rung a strong and solemn tone, despite its age. Its tune reverberated through his entire self and purged him of his petty frustrations, which plagued him not more than a few moments before. It represented the pride his mother felt as a child of the great beasts and as a sign of order and stability. A tradition to unite the Norhad swords which began at its inception and one which he hoped would remain for many years to come.

With this all available members of the guild began to flood the hall if they hadn't already been there for the mid day meal. The only ones who were not present, were those managing the commerce and order in the market square. Everyone else ranging from the trainees all the way to the commanding officers made their way to the great hall for debriefing. It was during this time that one could truly get a sense for how diverse the mercenary guild was. As Al strode through into the hall, he passed by the milestone portraits left as a tribute to their benefactors. Stern fathers without a smile, pensive mothers concentrating on being still for the portrait and being lady like, and the children adapting to being still when it was not natural for them to do so. Opposite of the wall to his right were the many people gathered in the hall. You could get a sense for how much division there was in the group just by glancing at how people organized themselves. The mages generally stood upon the second floor balcony with an air of refinement, their clothing was generally cleaner and demeanor inflexible. One may call that refinement, while another may call it elitism. Al didn't mind them too much as it had very little to do with himself. Toward the other end of the hall were the fighters, a combination of shadowkhans and combateers. Although both disciplines were almost opposite to one another, they shared the common bond of being close quarters combat fighters. When they were arguing about who was the superior class of fighter, they were joking around or working together with some of the best synergy in the group. On the wall adjacent to them were most of the spiritualists of the group. They were rather split as a group more than any other. One the one hand there were the spiritualists who mingled freely around the warriors as they preferred to fight up and close with them, as such jived well with the front liners. The other were some what similar to the magi, but for different reasons. The spiritualists sometimes did not approve of the rash and sometimes informal behavior of the warriors, sometimes calling the vulgar.

Nonetheless regardless of your class or upbringing, most members of the guild worked together in the face of a common enemy. All of them as trained by commander Antarah ( @Shin Positron Laser), formed a semi circle around the hall in anticipation for his announcement. He listened to the commander's speech while looking for a seat, one which was across the blind woman( @cokemonster) and her companion ( @Reinhardt). His blade held upright by one arm, he slumped and leaned on the other arm, shaking his head at the terrible news following the success of the jergon lake incident. Looking toward Antarah he noticed both Turian( @Helral) and Donar, but also the intimidating woman Vice commander Belluam ( @MsPolite). If Antarah was a welcoming, but just figure who had a welcoming presence, then she would have the opposite. Looser than the head commander, but more brash and with an air of bloodlust which she could never fully turn off. Well she would call it fighting spirit, but others including al, felt otherwise. Making the unlady like woman from the MKS ( @Kairikudo) look like a model woman by comparison. For belluam did not even bother washing the blood off her armor before attending the meeting, but still stood with the same shameless confidence she was known for.

It was during his moment of being lost in thought that Antarah momentarily gave him the spotlight by announcing a promotion which took him by surprise. Although behind the veil, he did not do the best job keeping his cool under the eye of everyone else, who for better or for worse, clapped to congratulate him. He stood from his head with a bit of unsteadiness and bowed his head to Antarah. Although he didn't have both arms free, he held one out with a straightened vertical palm to acknowledge both his announcement and show respect as his mother had taught him as a follower of the Great spirits. With the instructions to meet him after the meeting, Al slumped back into his seat and let all the tension go with a deep breath. Letting all his anxiety go with his extended exhale.

Timore Williams

ATK 3 / DEF 3 / EVA 3

Location: Great Hall, Fort Milestone, Norhad Plains

Timore stood among the diverse throng of people in the great hall, listening to the announcements being made. He had made his way to the hall after lurking in the market place for some time, summoned by the tolling of a grand bell that could be seen hanging over the main gate. The huge number of people surrounding him in the hall made him somewhat nervous, but at least it was easier to blend in. He focused his attention on the announcements being made. The man making them seemed to be of great importance; if Timore had to guess, he was likely to be the master commander, Antarah Genzah. Others, likely high ranking officers, stood at attention near him. As Timore listened, names that he had never heard before were mentioned by the man speaking, as well as the results of a mission he had been unaware of. The Norhad Swords seemed to keep quite busy. Then, assignments were announced.

Much to Timore's surprise, and at least partially to his relief, he was not immediately assigned a mission. He was a little disappointed, since he had spent so much time trying to convince himself that the first mission would be fine, and now had even more time to stress about it, but he supposed it was better than getting some overly dangerous assignment. It was possible that it was because he was a new, inexperienced recruit, but he was fairly certain that some others had been called to make their way to designated areas. He wondered briefly if anyone who had joined after the battle on the MKS Hood had been called; he was unsure, as he had never actually bothered to learn their names. Standing off to the side as those who had been called began to slowly leave the hall, Timore decided to look around and see if there were any familiar faces. His green eyes darted around the room, looking at all of the different people in it, and caught sight of a rather familiar woman not far from him. It was the scary lady. He inched away a little, hoping she wouldn't notice him. So she had joined, too... he'd have to do his best to avoid her. Frankly, he was still terrified of her, and didn't want to get dragged around humiliatingly again anytime soon.

After briefly explaining the situation to Vice Commander Belluam, he returned his attention to the newly appointed Field Captain, still with Turian and Donar at his side. "Field Captain Albert, it is an honor to have your service.  You may already know this, but being a field captain comes with more responsibilities, namely the safety of those under you. True, a leader must be courageous, but wise as well, for without that wisdom, his courage is but foolishness. When one charges into battle, those under him will follow suit. If you should not value your own life, how can you make decisions that show you value the lives of others?" Most of what he was speaking about, was in answer to the report given to him by Vice-Commander Turian who detailed the exploits of Mr. Albert during the pirates attack on the MKS Hood. He would hope giving the young man a command would help temper his actions.

The Commander started to call forth names of those that remained and were not assigned as of yet. "....Mr. Stilles.... Ms. Kairi Kudo @Kairikudo and Mr. Timore Williams @Creekstar. The Six of you will be under the command of Field Captain Dae'dium for this mission. I expect you all to give him all the dues afforded to one in that position as you would any of our other Field Captains. Please make your way to the Wings of Inverness, it is located on Dock 3. The Captain will join you shortly." as he finished giving out the orders, the individuals went forward towards the dock. " Captain, since this is your first assignment, I am also assigning Vice Commander Turian  and Lieutenant Donar to your team. Now these officers are there to help you only, not to lead. You are the mission leader. They will only assume command if you are unable to do so or you give it up to them." he signaled Donar @Jack Rakan and Turian @Helral to get underway immediately. " May the Winds of Fortune smile upon you." he ended, citing a rather Wayistic expression. The Winds of Fortune, was a reference to History itself, and how those that are recorded in any way have their exploits and lives either shown in great favor or great disaster.

(( OOC: just in case its not too clear, Albert has been assigned Kairi, and Timore and 4 NPC's along with Donar and Turian as supervisors of sorts. ))

location: great hall

Entering the great hall with other mercenaries, she took position standing in the back. She hated crowds, she always had. Her eyes fell to the front and on Antarah Genzah. She knew of him from other mercenaries and she had great respect for the man. She was a bit surprised to find out that this was his guild, though her expression didn't show it. She stayed silent as she listened to him announce someone getting a promotion. She saw that it was the tin head from earlier 'damn tin head...' She thought to herself. She continued listening to him call out unfamiliar names for the first mission. Hearing her name not be called for the mission irritated the mercenary who was already restless and itching for a fight despite the fact that she was in a pirate battle not long ago. Her fingers curled up into a fist as her knuckles cracked from the pressure of her hand tightening up. She took in a deep breath closing her eyes as she leaned against the stone wall behind her, her arms folded under her chest as she watched the people who's named had been called get up and leave. Some of those people happened to be the two girls from earlier, the bard who the cocky bastard kept mistaking for a girl, and low and behold, the cocky bastard as well. Her eyes narrowed as she gave a cold glare to Antarah. How could he pick that man to go on a mission instead of her? She thought to herself, not taking notice of the shorty who was not from her. She remained where she stood expecting to be released, expecting to stay there until a new mission opened up. To her surprise she was called up there along with some guy names Timore Williams. 'Who the hell is that?' she wandered. She wouldn't know that it was the same man she had been calling shorty since she met him. Actually, she never bothered to ask him what his name was, nor did she introduce herself. She pushed herself up from the wall and made her way up towards Antarah. An agitated look painted her face to hear she had to work under the command of that damn tin head. Poor Albert won't even get the decent respect of getting call by his name from her. She turned her head to the familiar boy who had came up with her. 'Oh? So shorty's real name is Timore? '  When they were dismissed and told to go to the airship she stopped beside Antarah "I hope you know that if it wasn't for the fact I respected you as a fellow mercenary I would refuse your request to work with, let alone under the command of that damn tin head over there" she said bluntly before making her way to the airship and getting on board.

Leira Laramy

Where: Fort Milestone

When: Feusen 3rd 997 CYAD

With: Noella! @JayfeatherRaven and Grifyn @Reinhardt and Belluam @MsPolite and Cecil @cokemonster

......... what already? dang i didnt even finish this perfectly goood breakfast.... such a waste.

Leira was upset she couldnt finish her food especially since she left the pancake for last. good thing she was carrying in her bag a pouch to carry food. she could just give it to some creature to feed later on. she didnt like wasting food especially when it can feed some hungry animal. everyone at the eating hall including her new friend Ella was to go to the main hall for orders and such. she wasnt really part of the guild and did not do much fighting. there was a quick speech and a promotion. it was the helmet man from before, the one with Donar who found ella in the caravan with them. Now he was a field captain, someone to notice perhaps. Albert. well maybe she will remember for the next time. " hey do you think well get called?" she asked her friend ella. it was not likely but she was getting nervous. the nervouness was probably also because everyon there was sort of nervous, maybe from the jobs they will be doing.

..........WHAT?!!?!!??!?!?!?.....................

her inner voice was asking her when her name got called out. ........what, why would i be called? i dont fight a all...... it was confusing to her but more than that it was scary. frightening. she shrunk back and just stared at the front. she hoped it was a mistake. she didnt know much about the others with her, just her friend ella and the Vice Commander Belluam. a rather intimidating woman who could give any man a beating. she was admired quite a lot by female mercenaries, but leira did also hear of some rumors that were not too good about her. maybe she could find out for herself. at least if it really wasnt a mistake she could count on Belluam for protection. she hoped. " what do you think our mission is." she asked ella. just then a silver haired beauty was spotted in front of her as they were walking. it was that same person from the banquet hall it seemed. they were headed together to the same spot. she put on her friendliest smile and went to say hi with ella. " Hi~! Im Leira. guess well be working together the three of us girls huh?"

Donar stood quietly as the Commander announced the first group, so they were going with that brute Belluam( @MsPolite), or rather the Vice Commander.

When he announced Albert's( @Bacon is fluffy) promotion, He raised his eye in surprise. For Albert to be promoted the Field captain...are your intentions to test his worth in this way commander? He thought to himself while casting a glance at Antarah.

No matter, he as well as Turian( @Helral) are also going to be present. But, the role given was that of Advisory. Hmm... though i didn't say it on the wagon.. will he be Sober enough for this.. I'll cut the beer rations in half for his sake.

Donar seemed to be thinking about the well being of the new Field Captain. he's not one to follow orders of a drunk anyway. this will be good for Al.

That was when one of the others, he presumed it was Kairi  (@Kairikudo) came by soon after being given out the assigned teams. She seemed to have a slight threatening aura as she came by the commander, Donar moved his left hand lightnly to his sword staring at her. But his worries were unfounded, she left quickly after that towards the Scout ship as donar relaxed his grip. the slight intent should startle her just a little, but it was reflex.

The then stood at attention at Commander Antarah. "By your leave sir. I along with Vice commander Turian will make sure Field Captain Albert does his duty well."

This almost seems like a repeat of a few months ago, but it seemed to be better, despite the angry girl and the unsteady Albert.

Of course, from the mission at hand.... Donar was very anxious about their target... This could lead to a bigger problem because of the reports of refugees being taken by slave traders... But those were rumors, nothing more.

It's not a new thing for me.. but i wonder about the others.. can even that angry child deal with this? Now that he remembered, that young boy, and that Girl, they were on the MKS Hood, which is what gave him these thoughts before.

Albert Dae'dium Mood: Ambivalent Goal: Head to the air ship before launch

Date: Feusen 3st 997 C.Y.A.D. / 9:30 am post Meeting

Al was petrified, he sat in his seat as a few beads of sweat came trickling down his face at the realization of the weight of his appointment. His fist clenched into a tightly knitted ball, slightly trembling and pressed into the bench. Making it creak ever so slightly.  He heard the guild members leaving the hall with their usual clamoring and mischief. An argument here about being loud, a little bit of friendly smack talk there placing bets on who'd do better on the upcoming mission. T'was a normal thing in the guild, something that usually calmed him. Now Al just sort of sat there for a moment without so much as peep, contemplating his place in the upcoming mission and how he'd not betray the trust of his commander or his right hand men( @Jack Rakan). The likes of whom stood on gaurd to the side, silent with an air of uncertainty, perhaps mistrust. Antarah's( @Shin Positron Laser) advice usually seemed wise to him,but there was a certain quality to them which he could not reconcile with. They had weight, each syllable bearing down upon him. Kairi made her exit, but not before putting Al down with an unusually cheeky remark. She's right. what am I thinking acceptin' a job like this?

He stood from his seat, using this blade as a crutch and brought himself to a slow rise. He half had an inkling to walk away without a word, but such behavior was not fitting in such circumstances. He tipped his hat his commanders and turned to leave the Grand hall as well, " Aye sir, I'll do wh't I can to liv'up to yer expectations". Upon leaving the hall, the sun greeted him with a flash of blaring light which stunned him for a moment. A familiar fluttering caught his attention and on the ground was his pet Bea'tris, with an apple in hand. Twas bittin already and covered in slobber, but it was the first time she had ever given him something to eat. She nudged the apple with his snout, tongue drooping from the side of her mouth as she panted in the hot Feusen sun. Al accepted, hesitating for a moment before downing the apple. " So even you th'nk I need cheer'in up"? Bea'tris squacked back at him happily before taking off once more, off to do bea'tris things Al supposed

Twas mid morning was he arrived at the Inverness. There he expected to do the ship's check up, but two of the people assigned to the ship were in fact ship maintenance workers. They gave him a small report, showing all routine checks had already been done. Al on the otherhand had a small wagon pulled by a popaomus with some provisions since there'd be extra people upon the ship. Not knowing where they'd be going, he wanted to make sure they were doublely prepared for the voyage. Upon taking his first steps upon the ship from the drawboard, he saw kairi ( @Kairikudo) lounging about on the ship's deck. Remembering who she was and what she said, al simply shrugged his shoulders and continued to unload the few boxes he brought with him. Most of which was extra food, water and a few goodies he wanted to work on in his own cabin. I wonder where the rest of em are at?

Rather mindlessly, Ella stumbled after Leira through the clamour in the great hall. She had tuned out the din of the crowd, the confusing noises only further pushing her head into the clouds. Whenever Leira paid attention to her or asked her a question out of the blue, Ella would only shake her head in mute bewilderment. It was only until a deep voice began to speak - causing even the rowdiest of mercenaries to hush - did Ella's ears perk up with interest. The man seemed to be calling out names, assigning a mission of some sorts to the people. Ella shifted closer to Leira as she heard her new companion's name being called, afraid that she would be left behind in this foreign place. Then the commander's next lines caused her mouth to open in shock.

Her name. No, she couldn't have heard wrong. But how could anyone in here but Leira know about her unexpected arrival? Ella glanced up at her supposed friend with a budding suspicion, but Leira looked just as caught off guard as she was, her eyebrows furrowing in thought. This time, when Leira asked her yet another question, she answered, "I don't know... Should we go find out?" When she didn't get an immediate reply, Ella looked up and saw Leira's attention already moving on to a stranger walking their way. In her usual cheery character, she approached the person, smoothly introducing herself. For a second, Ella debated whether to go off and search for the dock on her own - but then decided against it and stayed by Leira's side, awaiting the stranger's response.

Timore Williams

HP 6 / CCA 8 / SE 26

ATK 3 / DEF 3 / EVA 3

Location: Fort Milestone, Norhad Plains

Goal(s): Help prepare for the mission, avoid Kairi at all costs

Timore was continuing to inch away from the scary lady when he heard the commander make another announcement, assigning more people to missions. This time, his name was included among the list of recruits called. Five others were called as well, along with the newly promoted man and a few higher ups. The man who had been promoted had been on the MKS Hood, Timore realized. They had both fought the brutish pirate, along with the scary lady. Glancing around to see who else was in their group and beginning to make their way to the designated dock, Timore saw, to his dismay, that the scary lady was also beginning to move through the room. He deduced that her name must be Kairi Kudo; she was one of the only few women called. With a sinking feeling, he realized that his goal of avoiding her was about to get much harder. Sighing heavily, he slipped out of the great hall after the others.

Reaching Dock 3 not long after the rest of the recruits assigned to it, Timore stared up at the Wings of Inverness in awe. He had never been on an airship before, let alone this close to one, and it was truly an impressive sight to behold. Even though he distinctly remembered learning how they worked when he was younger, it still amazed him that something that big and undoubtedly heavy could fly. Modern engineering was quite the marvel. After looking over it for a few more minutes, Timore boarded the vehicle and began trying to find any way he could help to prepare for the voyage, eventually settling on helping to move necessary things on to the ship.

Cecil Sanger

Fort Milestone, Hall near Dock 2

Fuesen 3rd, 997 C.Y.A.D. / 9ish AM

Guarded

Cecil followed the teasing man who's name was found after an awkward introduction post that woman's intrusive clarification. Much of his anxiety was clouded by a cocktail of embarrassment and confusion. He pressed on the spot of his chest that was slammed, cheeks puffed as he wondered; I could have cleared the air myself... Hadiyah, that collapsed my lungs for more than a few moments.

He let his hand fall away, pushing that less than desirable spat away rather than letting it linger. "Are you sure you know where we're going?" Cecil said in his standard even tone. "I'm sure if we simply ask someone, they will aid-"

He stopped, turning to the pair approaching his back just as the first voice offered a cheery greeting. The first was the same from just before the announcements had gotten underway. The one who had suspiciously received a civil response out of the blood-woman. This warranted some thought as to her having an authoritative stature, but based on her voice alone, perhaps that blood-woman had just been polite. The second voice introduced herself with similar cheer and friendliness. While this Liera sounded around his short height, this one came from a tiny body much below what he'd expect present at a mercenary contingent. They accepted blind men, but children as well? He found it more unsettling to think what the child was capable of if she was indeed recruited for the very same reasons he was.

Cecil gave no hesitation in giving a curt bow and his own greeting. He faced their general direction, but was more so eye level with their necks than their own. Such inaccuracies were the usual. "Aye, It seems we are to work together in the coming days. I am Cecil Sanger, a traveling musician. Well..." One dainty finger came to tap at the base of his chin as he pondered a second. "No, I still am. Even if I am now to be a Sword. Oh, and I am a young man. Apologies, I know my chosen appearance is misleading. This," he stepped aside a bit, offering a view of the teasing man, "is Grifyn, the fabled Defender of the MKS. But that's a story for another time. Would you know of where this 'Dock 2' lay? I believe we've become lost."

....... isnt that a guys name...............

her first thoughts when the person introduced himself. it was kinda embarassing to mistaken a persons gender. what can she do to make it up to him. She felt bad about it for sure. " ...m-my mistake cecil. you... just... keep your hair so nice that from the back it looked like a girls...." she said shyly. He introduced another man. he seemed to be a man for sure. quite handsome and adventurous looking. probably the type of ladies man. but she didnt want to judge. after all she could be wrong, but she also had the power to read emotion. she would tell pretty soon. " Hi! Leira. pleaseure to meet you both. This is Ella! " she said slowly pushing her new friend.

Even though cecil was blind, she could tell he walked in a manner almost like he could see. maybe he was faking it, or something else, but she felt comfortable around him, an almost female feeling about the man. " Ah.. yes the dock is this way. this corridor leads to all the docks actually. " she told the music man. she wondered what other things he could do, obviously there is no need for an entertainer while on travels or missions. or is there? she couldnt complain, what was she doing there anyway. cecil ella and leira herself didnt really look like a team of fighters. but they were put together by antarah himself. maybe the great leader was losing his marbles. they arrived! " Oh that's the argyle ranger. "
