"Hullo again." Merin said, "Were just sitting down and swapping stories. Getting to know one another. Kirva has been nice enough to offer us a drink, if you're interested. Some of the others have gone looking for food. The only thing left are the tents, I believe. But there's no real rush if you'd like to sit a moment."
He finished wiping his gun down, and puts it in his lap. Merin stares not at the fire, but it's light reflected in the barrel. His fingers drift over the runes carved in it's stock. He blinks, and shakes his head.
"That stump is particularly nice. It's surface is a little concave so it'll fit a butt nicely!" He said, his smile returning, pointing to a stump he had dragged into the clearing, next to the Captain.
