The Princess and The Sol

Sol offered his hand to Luna to help her from her seat, his other hand on him hilt. "I apologize to you my sire and my lord. I may have over step, but with Luna as my charge, I must keep her honor in tact and keep her purity safe. This man is a snake, and I cannot allow my charge to be in association with him. He is not good for our country." He turned with Luna, and walked out the door.

The minute the two of them were out the door and a good distance away, Luna burst into giggles, throwing her arms around Sol. "My gods! I love you Sol." She said between giggles. "That was by far, the best thing you could of ever said!" She exclaimed as she pulled away and looked up at him, her sapphire blue eyes filled with amusement. "I mean did you see his face? He was soooo mad!" She laughed; knowing full well she should be reprimanding him rather than laughing, but how could she not? That was the funniest face she'd ever seen a prince make.

Sol chuckled loudly and smiled. "He is a snake. I hope your father heeds my word."his face grew serious. "That man... there is something wrong with him"

Luna nods. "A man who has the audacity to touch a lady on their first meeting has to common sense and defiantly doesn't deserve to even fail to court me." She said with another giggle. "But anyways, now that those responsibilities have been avoided..let's do something before someone hunts me down and demands of me to do something else." She said, taking a look around to see if anyone was actually coming to get her.

He smiled and led her to the stables. "How about a ride my lady?" He gave her a wicked smirk. "Maybe to the waterfall?"

Luna immediately becomes giddy as she nods. "Yes please! I haven't been there in so many years.. I vowed not to return there until you got back ya know." She said as she disappeared into a stable and brought out a black mare. "You remember Nightmare right?" She asked him as she pet along the horses neck and muzzle.

Sol pet the horse and inspected the horse. "Still in top shape. But needs shoes." He mumbled softly. A stable boy brings a pure white horse. "You remember Saint." He said as he patted the horses rear affectionately

Luna nods. "Of course. I also remember you claiming to be a valiant knight on a white horse when we played back then." She said, a soft smile on her face as she began to saddle Nightmare. "Tell me, do you still consider yourself my knight in shinning armor?" She teased lightly, though was genuinely curious about it.

He knelt down and bowed his head, his hand over his heart. "I belong to thee. My goddess. My queen. I shall give my life to see you smile. I will ride mile and mile. I will claim every soul that harms you. By these words here, I am bound to you" he looked up, his face completely serious, his eyes unwavering. "Forever, my princess, my queen."

The moment Sol knelled before her, Luna had turned toward him. After his words he face was once again a light with crimson as her sapphire eyes looked down into his. "Sol.." She said softly, not sure what to say as she offered him her hand. "T-that was...unexpected." She mumbled, stumbling on her words has her heart picked up a beat or two.

He stood and kissed her hand softly. "Forever..."he whispered and smiled at her. "You know I love you darlin. You are my favorite princess in the world."

Luna bit her bottom lip, her fangs slightly visible as her blush only seemed to deepen more as she still had no idea what to say back to him. "I uhm...I.." She tried to speak, but simply couldn't find the words. Her hand seemed to tingle where his lips had touched and her heart beating faster. What is.. going on with me? She wondered to herself, forgetting that Sol could hear her thoughts.

Sol released her hand and laced his fingers together. "Let me give you a boost." He chuckled softly. "Up you go"

Luna nodded. "Um..right." She said as she used his hand to mount her horse. "T-thank you." She said then returned to biting her lower lip. Luna, pull it together. He's gonna think you're weird! Oh wait..shit..he can..hear..my..thoughts.. She sighed and closed her eyes, shaking her head back and forth as she chuckled softly at herself. "Forgive me, I'm a bit of a mess." She admitted, an embarrassed look on her face.

Sol smiled. "You are fine. Don't worry." He mounts his horse. "Shall we?" Walks horse to the gate

Luna follows behind him. "Yes. We shall. Let's make haste before I'm found." She joked with a small bit of laughter, though she defiantly meant it. She wanted to take full advantage of her responsibilities being handled while she could.

Sol kicked his horse and Saint bolted through the gate and onto the path out of the castle grounds. "Keep up my princess. I do not need a slowpoke as my charge if she cannot keep up with a simple horse." He teased her. He always teased her. But the love he felt for her could never be a lie, nor a joke. He has loved her from day one, and swore to do all he could to become strong enough to protect her. She was the reason he breathed. She was the reason he even woke up. He never wants to see tears grace that angelic face. The face of his queen. A face that I can never kiss, nor wake up to in the morning he thought to himself. His face turned sour, but then he smiled, and played off that he was perfectly content. He was good at playing off his hurt....

With ease Nightmare caught up, Luna's long black hair flowing in the wind behind her as the sun seemed to sure off her eyes and face with a iridescent glow that made her eyes sparkle in the mid morning sun; a smile dancing across her face as she laughed freely, relaxing as she rode beside Sol, feeling free, unshackled by duties as the castle disappeared behind the horizon and the forest began to enclose the two, the sun hiding behind the tall trees and their leafs, but bits of golden rays still littering the floor of forest. The scenery around them was light a fairy-tale, as well as the two them as well. A young princess riding along on her valiant stead with her loyal knight at her side, vigilant as always.

Luna was truly happy at this moment, and to be honest with herself, she didn't feel like a princess. She felt like a normal girl, riding off with her best friend to a hidden grove only they knew about, to hide away from all responsibility. To be alone and together again after main hard years. Who knew what would ensue once they arrived at their hideout.

Sol chuckled at his princess and poked her lip. "You have this tell when your heart is speaking louder than your mind. You nibble on that lip of yours." He looked back at the path ahead, "You should be careful doing so though," he stated with more seriousness than humor, "you never know who would want a bite of it next. They might think it would taste quite... delectable." Sol was watching her reaction at his words from the corner of his eye. He hoped he didn't give too much away, nor anything away at that, and just come across as a teasing warning.

Luna gasped playfully and looked over at him; she'd of gave him a love tap, but she didn't feel like falling off the horse. "Someone wanting to bite this lip? Nonsense." She teased. "Though I suppose it is pretty obvious when I bite my lip that I'm nervous or contemplating something huh?" She asked as she slowed Nightmare to a trot. "But you know..I'd rather show some emotion rather than being a stone!" She teased back at him and stuck her tongue out at him.

He smirked and slow Saint down. "Now my princess, you wound me." He places a hand over his heart as though he was shot. "I have no heart, therefore how do I show emotions. You are not fighting fair, miss. I am a war machine. Trained to kill and decapitate!" He moved his hand with a flourish. He chuckled and turned to go down the hidden path. "Are we going to do what we use to do as kids? Strip naked and see who can last the longest under the painful current of the waterfall, or shall I let your future husband think he was the first to see you completely naked outside of the royal family." He knew this would get a rise out of her. He just loved the blush on her cheeks

Luna had been giggling quite wildly until he brought up seeing her naked. That sent her into shy, crimson faced Luna. "S-sol!" She mumble yelled at him. "I-I was a child then! I didn't know any better. Besides..I didn't have much to show then!" She exclaimed, though her face only grew in color. "B-besides! You just want to see me naked you dirty pervert!" She teased, hoping to turn this on him, not really meaning what she said bout him being a pervert.

He shrugged. "Am I really a "dirty pervert" when there is a beautiful woman, going to a romantic place like a waterfall, in the middle of summer, and the possibility of seeing her nearly naked? I am sorry, but last a checked I am male, and breasts and a nice ass make me smile." He said simply "And do not even pretend that you are not at least a tiny bit curious about how my body has turned out in the last 13 years." He scoffed. "You are as much of a perv as me, Luna Bear."

The minute Sol admitted to being a pervert sent Luna into a bit of a laughing fit. Not to make fun of it, but the way he owned up to it made her giggle so much she fell off Nightmare and onto the forest ground, not that she noticed as she was laughing so hard tears pour down her face. "S-sol!" She gasped between intervals of laughs. "F-forgive me for the laughter, but the way you owned up to that... well it has given me the best laugh of my life in thirteen years!" She exclaimed as she laid on the ground of the forest, arms over her stomach as she laughed.

Sol jumped off his horse and knelt by Luna, "Are you hurt you crazy woman? What if Nightmare kicked you?" He shook his head and picked her up in his arms. "If you become hurt, I will lose my beautiful face, along with my head." He grumbled and set her back on her horse and remounted his. "I am a pervert, I'll admit it." He slide his jacket off his shoulders, getting too warm, but then he went further and removed his shirt as well.

Sol was well built, his muscles were like coils of cords. His back had scars, but the muscles moved as the horse trotted on. His chest was broad and held many scars as well. One scar in particular reached from the base of his throat, to the top of his pants. his necklace bounced against his chest with the trot. "It's so bloody hot here Luna. I miss the mountains." He grumbled and didn't notice her reaction to his little show.
