The Princess and The Sol

He ran fingers through her hair gently. "You will be accepted. I will not be. I am a warrior playing king. They will look to you. Not me." He stated and kissed her lips quickly before fixing his military garb. White pants, white jacket and black shirt. He placed his cross on his chest, and fixed his hair. He closed his eyes, and when he opened them, they were a piercing crimson.

A shiver ran through Luna as she looked into his eyes. This was her Sol, her sun, her light, her warrior, her king, her best friend, and most importantly her lover for eternity. "I love you Sol. Now and forever."

He tilted his head and it snapped loudly, as a smirk crossed his lips. He placed his sword on his hip and strapped it to his thigh. He offered his hand. "My queen. Shall we?" He said, his eyes softening slightly, only for her

Sol chuckled softly and looked at the spider adorning the butt of his sword. "Do you wish to have a spider adorning your back?"

Luna shrugs. "I wouldn't mind. Though spiders are kind of gross." She teased as she looked up at him. "You know..I never understood why your family crest is a spider. That's always puzzled me."

Sol smiled at her and kissed her temple. "Because my family is assassins. And just like spiders, we always get in to where we need to be." He winked and entered the room, pausing to open the doors for Luna.

Luna playfully rolled her eyes at him before entering her father's quarters. "Father. We're ready to be presented." She said her face becoming more serious as she waited for Sol to come stand by her side.

The king nods. "Good good. Your carriage is outside. It will take you to the center of the village where you'll make the announcement. I'm sending Royal Guards with the carriage on the off chance something happens. Be careful you two and Sol.." He stopped. his eyes softening as he looked from Sol to Luna then back to Sol. "Take care of her."

Luna smiles at her father before looping her arm back through Sol's. "Guess we'd better go then." She said, waiting for Sol to lead her from the room.

Sol nodded to the man and spoke softly. "With all the power of the Spiders." Sol turned and lead Luna out to the carriage. "Did you know your father gave my clan their crest?"

Sol smiled and looked at her. "Your father and my father were great friends. My family has protected yours for generations. Your father gave my clan their name, title, land and rights to teach assassination. Your father is why I am born. And my sister can do her tattoo practice. Even though she is a woman." He opened the carriage door.

Luna got in the carriage and waiting for Sol to do so. "Ah. So that explains why we were destine to meet. It was Fate itself who'd arranged this." She said with a small smile to him. "But I'm very glad for that. I've finally found someone I love." She said happily.

Sol stepped in and sat next to her, taking her hand. "You father called us the 'Kings Spiders', I am sure you heard about them when you were little. We are a clan made up of assassins and people who just protect the royals whenever it is needed. You remember when my father and mother passed and your father and mother wept for a long time? That is because your family and mine have always been tied by this string of untold power." He smiled at her. "Once caught in the spiders web, or in our case, charm, it is impossible to leave."

Luna giggles at him. "No lie there. I've been attached to you since the day we first met when you were spying n my in the courtyard you perv." She teased at him with a smile as she laid her head on his shoulder. "That was so long ago..and at a much simpler time.." She said softly.

Sol chuckled softly at his bride and kissed her head softly. "I was trying to see what my new play mate was like. Can't blame a guy for being wary of a princess, when he is only an assassin/guard in training."

Luna giggles. "Oh yeah? It was real charming when you feel down from the tree right into my lap. I still remember that awkward look you gave me before turning red and bolting from me like I scared you when you'd scared me." She said with a laugh.

Sol blushed slightly and looked out the window. "You were prettier than I thought... so I was shocked. Not scared. I heard rumors that you were a rude, mean girl with an ugly heart.... that was bullshit." He mumbled then turned to her. "And I remember a little girl staring when I practiced! Who's the perv now?"

Luna blushes lightly. "Hey! I can't help in my early teen years that I thought you shirtless and training was hot. Geez! Don't act like you didn't think dirty things about and peep on me." She said with a smirk.

Sol looked at her and tilted his head. "Luna. I left when I was 8. Rememeber? Who was peeping on you when I wasnt?" He smirked wickedly.
