The Princess and The Sol

The king looked up, tilting his head. "What, luna? I am busy and do not remember asking for you to be in my chambers. Is something the matter?"

Sol snarled and slammed his fist into the wall, causing it to crumble and Crack. He was irritated and ready for blood. Someone touched Luna. AND attacked him. They couldn't leave now. Sol angrily turned and went to Luna's room. Once he entered and found it empty with an open balcony door, and glass he began to freak out. Luna..... where are you?!

Luna stood straight up. "Sorry father, but I wish to tell you that our alliance with the Lycans has officially been broken due to an assassination attempt on your life and an attack on both my personal guard and I." She said formally, hoping Sol was alright. Please Sol.. Be okay.. Be waiting outside father's chambers, eagerly awaiting me.. She thought to herself worriedly.

The king looked at his daughter in utter bewilderment. "My life? I was in not danger. No one has entered my room but a servent human and you. What ridiculous things have you been dreaming up now?" He glared at her angrily.

Sol was frantic and looked around her room. He sat on the bed, trying to calm himself before he stold and ran to the kings chamber, waiting outside as patiently as he could.

Luna shakes her head. "I have dreamed no such things up father. I'm telling you now. Victor made a threat on your life." She said rather simplistically. "Believe me or not father, but that is what I know to be true." She said and turned on her heel and walked out of the room, closing the door behind he and running right into a familiar chest. "Sol.." She said softly and wrapped her arms around him tightly, pressing her face into his chest without ever looking up at him.

Sol enclosed the smaller Vampire in his embrace and nuzzled her ear. "Lords.... you had my heart breaking with every second. I knew you weren't dead, but hell...." he breathed a sigh of relief and pulled away softly, placing a hand at the base of her neck, at the roots of her hair. It was a romantic embrace, but sol didn't care who saw at this moment.

He was looking for anything, anything at all, then he saw it. A small trickle of blood t

At the base of her throat. His eyes flashed dangerously, as his muscles twitched. "Who...?" He stopped and shook his head, his eyes growing softer as he leaned forward, his eyes staring at her throat, before he closed his eyes, leaned in and lightly licked at the wound, his tongue lightly going over it, barely.

Luna shivered from Sol's embrace then once again from him licking her throat. "There was only one way to have him call of the attack..." She said, her voice soft as she looked up at him, her eyes still blood red.

Sol stood and pulled her back against his body, where he knew she was safe. "We cannot leave now. You are safe from marrying Victor, but we are not out of the proverbial woods yet." He stroked her skull softly with his hand, his eyes dancing over her face, concern etched into his red orbs. "You scared me. I could hear you, but I couldn't say anything. I was in a fight. I thought I wouldn't be able to save you. But you are safe. Because you are strong. My princess." He buried his face in her black hair, inhaling her scent as though it may fade,

Luna inhales his scent as well, her eyes falling closed again. "As long as I have you...I'll be fine." She said, holding him tighter as though it might be taken away from her. Mine.

Sol began to pull back, holding Luna at arms length and giving her a small smirk. "Shall we go get some food? I am sure you are starving from what has transpired this evening." He said softly and turned to go to the kitchen, reaching out his hand to her. "Come now"

Luna took his hand and gave him a small smile. "As long as you cook for me~" She said and walked with him to the kitchen.

Sol chuckled and lead her to the kitchen, their fingers intertwined and his other hand resting on his sword. He never used the sword in his battle with lycans, ainly because he wants his blood to poison them.

Sol nodded slowly. "I am infuriated that I forgot that dogs power to disappear, but yes. I will be fine. You do know... you starting this war over, means I have to join the lines... right?"

Luna shakes her head. "Not if we get married or engaged. Then you'll be a prince." She smirked. She had full entions of keeping Sol from war.

Sol sighed softly and stopped, turning to Luna. "Luna. I am a warrior. I am a vampire warrior. And my brethren are going into a battle against our biggest enemy... I can't sit idly by and watch them die..." he looked down and held her hand tighter. "Luna. You know this would happen eventually. I love you, and I will do what I can before I possibly get called out to battle."

Luna's face falls as she looks up at him, eyes full of sorrow. "Sol..I can't have my mate leave and risk death to our enemy. I don't want you to leave me here.. Alone and widowed.."

Sol pulled her closer and kissed her lips lightly. "Luna my love. I will never die. I won't leave you alone."

Luna holds him tighter. "We're not married yet." She said, though she wished they were. Desperately she wished that more than anything the two of them were married. She'd do the whole ceremony today if it meant she could keep Sol by her side and not in the war. She'd do almost anything to make him stay. Unless it was marring Victor. That she wouldn't do. Not in a million years.

Sol chuckled softly and nuzzled her nose softly with his. "To me, we are married. I will never be happier with anyone but you." He opened his eyes and looked info hers. "Please let me see those amazing blues"

Luna chuckles softly and looks up at him, her eyes still not blue but more of a faded red color. "But I wish to have the entire ceremony. It's a female thing, you wouldn't understand." She joked lightly as a small smile graced her elegant features.

"Then I will go talk to your father." He stated and pulled away completely. He was completely serious.

Luna bit her lower lip. "Can we at least eat first?" She nearly begged, her stomach audibly growling. "You said you'd cook for me.." She pouted slightly.
