Finally Xavier lay next to her, his chest rising and falling quicker than usual. soft amber eyes looked to his mate who lay next to him, she was radiant. Leaning over to press his lips to the top of her head he then sighed softly "So, what now my mate? Do we announce the change in ranks or do we wait until the coming of packs to introduce new leaderships?" Xavier wanted everyone to know he stood by Lilith one hundred percent, although some might find him crazy, he was going to follow her until his last breath.

Lilith look at him while laying there informing him:"we shall inform our pack after meeting with alphas...which should be very soon"

She look over at sarah stopping by her den:"i'll be back soon..."

Timber Blake had just moved to the small town, looking escape and reason. He was the only werewolf in his family; but they hadn't known. He walked thru the forest, his German-Shepard like appearance. His soft gold eyes looked at some birds that had flown past him. He took in a deep inhale the exhaled. This had been the calmest he had been in moons. Then a sudden white figure, a little smaller than himself, dashed past him then halted.

"Hello?" Timber said, his eyes wide.

"Hi," the white wolf said. His orange eyes curious.

"Who are you?" Timber echoed.

"Orian," he young wolf muttered. Orian had a small kitten with him, it's green eyes wide. "And who might you be?"

"Timber Blake, but Timber is fine," Timber replied; curious why the wolf was panting. "Why were you running?"

"I'm trying to find a pack territory around here, but I'm afraid I can't find it," Orian grumbled in reply; obviously irritated with himself.

"How come?" Timber continued to ask more questions, but Orian didn't seem to mind answering them.

"There's going to be an ambush tonight, so I'm trying to warn them before it's too late," Orian replied, his orange eyes clouded.

"Ah, that's reasonable," Timber said, examined the nature around him.

"I at least need to find the scent," Orian grumbled to himself, tasting the air around him.

"I can help," Timber was willing to help, even if he had no need to.

"All right, come with me," Orian replied, looking more hopeful that they'd find the territory before it's too late.

Sarah spun around at the sound of a howl, having walked into the den to check it out. It wasn't as bad as she thought that it was, and sniffing around, she found why she had felt so uneasy about it. It only needed a good cleaning out, some other animal had been using the den as a place to stash things but clearly had not been back in awhile. She was intent on making that a home, so she began to clear it out when Lily showed up to tell her she would be back and then left without a word. She blinked a few times, wondering if she should have gone with her. Alone, she went back to clearing out her and her brothers den.

Max gave a nod to the older wolf, and then turned his steel grey eyes back to the one injured as he waited for him to decide if he was going to be carried, or attempt to walk on his own with support. He was prepared to do either, in whatever the way he wanted. Either by being carried by his human form, or on his back as a wolf. If he was going to try walking, he was also prepared to press fully up against his injured side and be there to walk with him all the way back to the pack territory, wherever that was. He was starting to wish he hadn't left the things back at the motel, because at some point he was going to need to go back for them. One of his ears twitched, turning before he turned his head. Had he heard what he thought he heard?

Lily arrived at the shared territory by the lake, a place that where leaders are burried and new ones are recognized by fellow alphas....meetings with other packs


She also wanted to see if soulmoon and the two new packs wanted to join together to fight bloodmoon but would only talk to them after lilith left....

“Okay.” Charlie gave an amiable wag of her tail as the russet wolf greeted her. “Nice to meet you.” She repeated the action to his companion, then glanced back at Angel before turning towards the camp entrance. “I’ll go ahead and find anyone who might have left camp, and keep an eye out for those dangerous wolves along the way.”

"Something's off in the air," Xade muttered, his eyes piercing the trees. A growl rumbled deep in his throat and rose it as he could sense trouble. "Who is there?" he demanded, baring his fangs.

He then spotted a white figure slowly making its way towards them. "Charlie! Angel!" Xade howled, turning around and bounding up to them.

Steels ears pressed against his head as he heard a howl summoning the Alphas. 'We ready for this?'' Terrance chuckled in his mind, 'As ready as we can be...if they dont accept us then we will fight!' The two of them were both rather tired of moving and his pack had found comfort in these new lands. They remembered the path that had led them to the meeting area once before. It hadn't changed any maybe a little overgrown here and there but it had been a month since he had last taken this path. Soon he found his way to the meeting place his blonde-white body bursting through the brush and landing with a thud. There was already another female that had arriver, the meeting grounds where neutral territory. It meant not fighting was allowed,but sometimes not all wolves listened. It was partly why he had ventured this way on his own. If he had told any of his pack some of them would have wanted to come. He nodded to the female, "Greetings to you."

Tessa nodded, watching the others but stiffening slightly when Xade mentioned something was wrong. Her head turned and she noticed the white wolf padding their way. It caught her off guard, if he was one of the wolves hunting Mask then wouldn't he be going about things in a more stealthy manner. Tessa and Angel both thought the same way, the wolf had to be one of the ones they needed to watch for. But his approached didn't make any sense, she stepped in front of the white wolf. "You arent welcomed here and i would rather not use force, but i will if i have too...." A low growl underlining her words.

"Quinn is passed out right now so if i shift to human form you will be stuck carrying his full weight." Jasper didnt like the idea of making someone he had just met do that. Plus he didnt know if he could fully trust these people. But if he did shift back to human form and something were to go wrong he could shift to hus wolf form. He would have enough time to make a decent wound on the one carrying him before either of them could get to him

"No! Wait!" Orian exclaimed when she approached him. "I need you to inform your alpha that there's going to be an ambush tonight."

The small kitten beside him had wide eyes at Angel and mewed, "you're pretty."

"Please! I now know and understand how Mask felt when I kill her pup.. and I regret the decision.. you see, Stuart told me he would provide me hospitality after my parents died, if I killed the pup. Afterwards, he provided me nothing," Orian's eyes clouded. "This is as far as I'll enter.. but please be prepared.. he's coming with an army.. and do not let Nina in, she's with him."

"How can we trust you?" Xade snarled, approaching as well.

"Please!" Orian cried, tears in his eyes.

Xade look completely baffled by the young wolf's words.. but could they trust him? Xade turned his gaze to Angel and mumbled, "should we trust him?"

Tessa frowned slightly, "It wouldn't make sense for him to so blatantly enter our camp if he was wanting to harm Mask...but that also doesn't mean we can trust him." But if there was going to be an attack they couldn't let this wolf go... Her blue eyes landed on a voice that called her pretty and she crouched down looking at the orange kitten. "Thank you little one..." She said with a soft smile that didnt last as she eyed the wolf. "If you are telling the truth then you wont mind us keeping you tied up here. Right?" She wouldn't trust this guy further than she could throw him until he gave her an actual reason to trust him. Plus, the fact that he had killed a pup simply for possible benefits didnt settle right with her. 'Difference between loners like you said before?' 'Yeah....' At this point if he tried to fight with her about keeping him tied up here she wouldn't trust him in the slightest unless he had some very convincing excuse. Of course Finnegan would have the final say about any of it. But she wasn't sure if he was still in camp or busy with the Alpha meeting that was supposed to happen fairly soon, if she was remembering correctly.

she look over with concern:"hello there, do you need help?" wondering if he fell too hard as her white snow fur shine as the afternoon sun near sunset hits agianst her..

The kitten mewled at Angel as if he liked her, rubbing his flank and cheek on her front leg.

"Who's the kitten?" Xade asked, as if he had to.

"Oliver," Orian replied, his orange eyes not meeting Xade's.

"Orian's coming with us tonight, right?" Nina asked Stuart as they strolled thru a park.

"Yeah, I spoke with him earlier today," Stuart replied, rolling his eyes at the kid's name.

"I'm going to end up carrying most, if not all of your weight anyway." he said as he walked closer and then around him as he inspected the wounded area and trying to figure out how best to go about this. He was about to ask how much weight he could put on his leg when the older one said he was going to head back fully into the territory. "Wait! I don't know the way." he called after him, before growling softly. "I'm going to carry you as you are, bite me and I might drop you making that wound worse before its been seen too." he said, shifting back to human he took the green canvas styled jacket he wore off to tie around his waist, not wanting to get blood on it before squatting to carefully but quickly slide his arms under the injured and he rose up in one smooth motion, needing to make no adjustments as he turned to follow. He was muttering under his breath about only just joining the pack that morning and not having any idea where it was, how was he supposed to just find his way.

Garen stopped and waited for them:"i'll lead the way, follow me.."

Once they were close enough he start to lead the way dragging the deer...an hour later they reach the cave entrance, a small trench near the entrance and a rock hanging off the top indicate a small waterfall trench was being made

Steel showed the she wolf a toothy grin, "I am just fine my lady, just rushed to get here. Wanted to make sure i remembered the way. Would hate to be the new wolf that makes the other Alpha's wait simply for having lost my way'' He dipped his head to her in a show of respect, "If I remember correctly you are the Alpha of GhostMoon..." He glanced around before stepping closer to her, "If you are in need of help with anything my pack may be new, but we are not weak. And we have plenty in supply as winter is moving nearer." His mother would be proud of him for offering to help another pack without wanting anything in return.

"Good..." Her eyes traveled to the kitten and she smiled once again, holding her hand out towards the kitten. She was letting her guard down just a bit, it was something of a test. But also the simple fact she loved cats even if it was odd since she was a canine. "We wouldn't let you any closer to Mask as is. She seemed pretty panicked to begin with and i can understand why." She sighed softly, "How many?" She asked glancing to Orian. 'It can't be too many right? Unless we missed a loner or two when we were patrolling.' 'Either that or they decided to stay in town and not attack until the plan was fully set.' Angel growled within Tessa's mind, 'I knew this female was nothing but trouble.' Tessa smirked, 'I want to know why she has such a large target on her more than anything.'

Jasper's ears pressed against his head when the man lifted him up. This was not what he had,had in mind at all, this had to be the most embarrassing way to get carried. "I wont bite you unless you give me a reason to feel threatened." The pressure against his shoulder hurt but so did his leg just dangling there, it seemed there would be no happy medium. It felt like it was taking forever to get to whatever location the older one had mentioned. "If you need to put me down i can probably wa..." Though his words didnt seem to matter as they came across their destination.

"You weren't that heavy." Max said simple as he carefully put him down. He had just enough time to stand up and step away from him when he heard the sound of rushing paws. He whipped around in time to catch a brown haired girl, who had flawlessly changed mid-jump from a wolf. "It hasn't been that long Sarah."

"Doesn't matter. I smelt blood." She said into his neck, because the moment she stepped out a newly clean den, she knew his scent on the wind first, and when she picked up blood too, she had raced straight for the source. She didn't know why he was there at the Alpha's den, just that he was and she needed to be sure he was safe. So she held onto him tight, feet dangling in the air.

"I'm fine big sister, I'm in one piece." Max reassured her as he felt her pat his back, slowly putting her back on her feet. They appeared to nuzzle each other like they would have as wolves before stepping back. He turned and gestured to the large dark grey wolf he had just been carrying "Shot, I think." He said, staggering off balance as Sarah shoved past him with two hands to approach. "I didn't catch his name." He added as he caught his balance. "Did you need a hand breaking that down?" He decided to ask, offering his help with the deer.

"Hi, I'm Sarah. Our father was shot once, mind if I take a look? I dug the bullet out." She said as she walked over and knelt right beside him, she was ready to give his snout a light tap if he growled at her. Though she had asked if he minded, she had every intention of just going right ahead in inspecting his wound and doing what she could. "Maxwell! Come hold him and give me your shirt." She snipped when she heard him walking away. A groan followed and she shot him a glare as she held her hand out.

"Why always my shirts?" Max asked, doing as she requested and taking off his black coloured v neck shirt to place in her hand.

"Stop wearing thin ones that look like fine gauze." She quppied at his question, quickly ripping the fabric into what she needed before taking off her hoodie to twist it into roll of cloth. "I can't give you anything for the pain, I can give you my sweater to bite though. I can't clean it until later on tonight, but I can get that bullet out and provide a temporary bandage." She said, looking into his eyes as she waited for an answer. Either way, she intended to have Max hold him down for as little movement as possible. This was like with their father all over again, except mother and Lucas weren't on their way with medical and food supplies from a store.

Charlie whipped around as Xade howled for her and her packmate, seeing the white wolf approach and talk to her fellow guard.
“So you’re the one who killed the pup.” Charlie narrowed her eyes at the newcomer. Then she saw the kitten, and jerked away before she could stop herself. Cats. I hate cats. Even if this was just a small one, she’d had too many encounters with its kind to acquaint herself with one now. “What’s... that doing here?” she asked warily. Tessa, however, seemed to be rather fond of the miniature feline. The stranger mentioned that he had no intention of looking for Mask, and she growled, “You better not.” He also talked about a group of wolves coming to ambush them — Charlie waited for his answer when Tessa asked how many of them. “Whatever number it is, we can take them.” She puffed out her chest, wagging her tail with pride in her pack, even though her statement may not have been entirely true.

Lily nod and sat in her wolf form looking at him:"if you gotten lost im sure we all would have searched for you......i am honored by your kindness and suprised by your sharp memory. Yes i am, i do wish to talk to you and the others about joining together as allies without bloodmoon around...but for now yes we dont have many supplies but we have blankets to help survive the cold winters in dens....."

Garen walk over to the fire and set the deer down, he glance at sarah as max got jasper to her

"There's seven, that's including Nina and Stuart," he continued. Flickering his ears and tasting the air; it was obvious to him that Mask was indeed here. "The kitten is my pet-" he glanced at Charlie with a soft, heavenly; calmness in his eyes "-he wouldn't hurt a fly. Trust me."

"What's a fly?" Oliver echoed, his eyes wide.

"It's a bug," Orian replied, not removing his eyes off Tessa.

"What's a bug?" Oliver asked.

"Stop asking questions," Orian said, wiping his tongue over Oliver's head. The kitten purred in response.

There was a long silence until Orian had a strange feeling, he then muttered 'excuse me a moment..' Orian then disappeared behind some trees; talking to some one in a human voice. Then returned as his wolf.

"Stuart just called me; he says he's moving the ambush to the day after tomorrow.." Orian said, with a dip of his head.

Mask's blue eyes darted around the space around herself, making her feel claustrophobic. "I need to step out.." she murmured, but then thought the medic or Finnegan would say something, but she wanted some fresh air. Getting to her paws, she tempted to step out.

Location: Near the lake​

They had been walking for a long time now. To get to the south before the first snowfall was essential. Even better if she had enough time to set up a proper camp for the time. She had reached a nice small town with a fairly lovely area of woods nearby if she's in luck she can camp out there for tonight and move on or if the higher powers are in play, she may even find a nice pack to stay for the time being.

Ayla pulled out a map that had seen days with its corners torn and the marks of different ways it had been folded showing. She folded it out on the road and looked over all the marks on it. She looked at all the places where was pack lied marked in black, packs who were nice marked in green and of course in bright red marked all the places a sane person should avoid. As the years went by the less green, she spots she had been marking down. This year they were forced to go in the unmarked territories.

"Ok people we are here-ish but I am not that sure. So as usual Mo can you go fly and take a look around. If this map is correct, there should be a lake about that way."
"Mhm! Mhm! Sounds like a good plan! If we are at where you think we are, then we will meet you at the tip of the lake Momo."

Momo took off from the girl's shoulder while she packed up the map and started walking towards the lake. It didn't take long for Mo's confirmation of location and information about local lycan population. He said he saw what seemed to be four different structures that might belong to werewolves. Now the trio had hope that this winter might be spent in a warm, warm house after all.

Timber Blake had completely lost track as him and Orian spilt up. "Maybe it's about time I head home," he said to himself. His German Shepard-like pelt gleamed with the sunlight and the breeze.

He then stopped in his tracks, sniffing the ground with his tail slowly wagging. He smelt somebody different; hoping he could make a new friend. Letting out a playfully howl, but it was low. The smell smelt nothing of a threat to him and his tail continue to wag; his small howl was pretty much saying 'hello' and/or 'not a threat'.

A howl echoed through the forest. It was cheery and welcoming. Ayla was not yet ready to meet people, but she could feel the overjoyed Zaya almost leaping around.
"A wolf! A WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLF! There's another wolf, Ayla! They sound so friendly! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE NEEEEEEEEEEEEEED TOOOOOOOOO ANSWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM!!!!!"
"Calm your tits, Zaya. We don't know if that was even meant for us. If they are like the pack farther up north, then you know what happens and I am not the one who's gonna do the running this time."
"But.....but...but the wolf....."
"Ok sure have at it but we also need to let Mo know what's up"
The girl swiftly shifted into a wolf and let out a single brief howl, letting know they heard the first one. She shifted back and kept on walking.
"Mo, Zaya answered a howl so I think it would be the best if you returned"
"Oh, that wolf! Well, let's hope we are well in the end"

Timber's ear flattened, not hearing a returned response. He sighed and dropped his head. Then hearing the response he brightened up, almost immediately. Timber started running in a circle excitedly, and howled a little louder this time. Bouncing on each of his front paws when he halted his running. His light-gold eyes were bright and they shot around like small suns around the clearing. Keeping a close eye out to see if he could spot anyone approaching. "Helloooo!?" he howled. His pelt was pretty much camouflage, due to the brownness.

Multiple exited howls answered her howl. They all came from the same wolf for sure. Great, they must have stumbled on pup this time around.
"ZAYA! See what you did there?!?! Now we have to deal with a pup. A gosh darn pup!"
"Hey! Now it's your time to calm down. I might have just secured our winter."
"What makes you think answering a child will guarantee us a spot by their fire? Oh, don't gimme those eyes! Yeah, well, I guess you are right and besides what life it would be without some unexpected nonsense"
Ayla shifted permanently and let loose a long and excited howl, screaming: "I AM HERE!!!"

Timber waited for a response and then his tail sped up. Bouncing around he smiled then heard some rustling behind him. Flickering his ears back, a huge fox was staring dead at him. "Oh no-" he froze where he stood.

The foxes' green eyes pierced into the pup's soul with death. The pup's howls to her disappeared and all there was silence. Timber had convinced himself not to move a muscle and the fox won't make at move at the pup.
