I hope you’re all having a good start to your week. Tomorrow is Wednesday, yay! I finally get to go back to the chiropractor after over a month. We have lost so many staff that we haven’t been able to go. Our chiropractor dropped his dog off today and we always drive it back to the office the next day. So now we have to make the time to go. Thank heavens

When the going gets tough, the tough get coffee
it's been another rough week for me. Tomorrow is the last day of my work week, and I'm so glad for it. On top of everything else going on right now, we haven't had working hot water in 6 weeks, and with the temperatures below 0 degree Celsius outside, and in the warehouse (and me with Renaud's in my hands), washing our hands is definitely bracing. My boss promises he'll have it fixed during our days off.
Since we could all use a good laugh, I thought I'd share a memory that came up for me today on FB:
So, Momma and I are watching Jeopardy, and she asks me, while laughing and touching her throat, "Joy, what is that part of a man's throat called?"
I looked at her and said, "Adam's apple."
Well. She just lost it. When she could speak, she said, "In my head, I was calling them 'throat elbows'."
Throat elbows. I'm crying.
Since we could all use a good laugh, I thought I'd share a memory that came up for me today on FB:

Thank you. It definitely does stink. Yes, we can have hand warmers, but it can be tricky, since one of the things I do is wander around the warehouse floor with a laptop on a rolling card and type in inventory. I have to place them strategically so I can still type.

ANNOUNCEMENT
I am going to clean up the front page and the character profile page. Some of the characters that got reserved never had profiles sent in. Others have made profiles and never posted. I think I reached out to all of them and I have gotten no responses. I just want everything to stay as up to date as possible. If they'd like to come back they are always welcome to! I will also check in with others who have stopped posting, just to see if they are still interested.

Bunnies are so cute. I never really had exposure to one until recently. They brought in animals for our middle schoolers to observe for science class, so I got to pick up the Flemish Giant. It was so cute.

Ha ha ha! I cannot shake this image out of my head: Hector running at Oan with his arms spread wide, happily shouting, "Dad!!!", and Oan with a look oh horror on his face, because an overenthusiastic bear hug from Hector could break him.

That's the breed Toffle is! I grew up with rabbits but this is my boyfriend's first time having one. He didn't love that I was getting one but he's in love with her now. He even turned the heater on in our mud room because "It's a little cold tonight."

Now it makes me wonder what each character would be labeled if they were a kid living with Oan and Mae. Like, what kind of adult kid would they be?
Shikari: A golden child. The helpful kind who is very sweet.
Vyrik: Chaos. Always finding trouble without meaning to. Sneaks out at night.
