Finn wasted no time getting to work. Making sure that everything was in order stocking wise, he grabbed his notes he had made the other night and looked through the list as the other workers moved quickly around him. His eyes glanced up as Maggie reminded him that he had 40 minutes until the shipment of alcohol was to be delivered to the pub. Biting his lip, he looked towards the clock on the far wall just to confirm with himself. Nodding his head, he offered a bright smile to a few of there most loyal (and loony) customers before heading off to the back for a split second.

He brought the clean glasses that had been cleaned earlier in the evening back to the front on a tray with a cloth draped over his shoulder. He placed the glasses back on the shelf and made sure that each one was cleaned spotlessly and was dried without any watermarks. Pleased with the work of himself and whoever washed the glasses, he placed the tray off to the side before watching as Maggie handed Aidan a drink. "And just how will you be paying for that lad?" He teased his younger cousin before reaching out and ruffling his hair delicately. Finn was in the best of moods. Having woken up with a smile on his face, he was sure that nothing could ruin the mood he was in and he hoped nothing would.

Lucy shook her head. "I feel as if we might have spoiled her too much." She murmured to James as he fetched the collar and handed it to her. Taking it, she attached it to the pup's collar before rubbing her ear delicately. "Come on little girl, lets go." She chuckled as the dog ran forward eagerly ready to explore the outside world for the 2nd time that day. "No digging or I will have to bathe you again." The weather outside wasn't as frightful as it had been a few days ago. The light snow had melted slowly but surely turning into a disgusting black and grey slush. Lucy vaguely missed the buckets of snow in the city of New York, the country side mostly, the grey slush not even existing in such a place. Lucy leaned against James as they walked arm in arm and laughed lightly at his comment about the snow. "Ironic...I was just thinking the same thing." She chimed in.

"Perhaps we should consider the country side...no grey slush in those parts, and the snow seems to leave beautiful colors when it disappears there." Not a moment after she made this suggest, Lady suddenly tugged towards the alleyway next to them, causing Lucy to stop in her tracks. James investigated the alleyway with a quick glance immediately before shrugging it off as nothing. A smile formed on her lips as James complained about Lady driving him crazy today. "Lady? driving you crazy? What happened to her being your precious baby?" She teased James, enjoying that he was so happy with the dog, the pair was inseparable. Lucy took a step forward to walk on when the dead weight of Lady sitting stubbornly caused her to turn, the dog tilted her head and let out another whine. James seemed annoyed but it was amusing to Lucy. "Well...I see she has your stubborn streak." She teased again before nodding her head, "Alright girl, let's investigate..." Lucy looked to James to lead the way.

Kate laughed at Luca's response. "Hey, I never said there was anything wrong with the name. I just wondered why you chose it. He certainly doesn't smell of coffee," she noted, bringing the puppy close to her face. "I suppose you do kind of look like a cup of coffee," she told the dog. She smiled when Luca placed his arm around her waist, but pulled a joke frowning face at his next comment. "I like you too, Luca, but don't think calling me the pup's mum means you get out of cleaning duties. The mess this puppy leaves is all yours!" she teased him.

Sinead Sullivan
jik-png.358164

Sinead sat in the chair, tears rolling down her cheek as she felt the pain at he side of her forehead. Steve crouched down in front of her and sighed. "Take your coat off and get comfortable. We can talk better if you don't look like you want to leave," he told her. He placed his hand on Sinead's thigh, stroking her skin with his thumb as he watched her unfasten the buttons of her coat. The sound of footsteps and voices could be heard outside. Before Sinead had chance to shout, Steve rushed to his feet and stepped behind the chair, covering Sinead's mouth with his hand. "If you make a sound, I'll have to hurt you," he whispered. "I don't want to do that."

James Porter

James laughed when Lucy commented that Lady was his precious baby. "Hey, she is precious. It doesn't mean she can't be a pain in the ass. Just like the other lady in my life. I'm sure if you get on my nerves I'll still love you too," he assured Lucy, kissing her cheek. He nodded seriously when Lucy mentioned his stubborn streak. "Well, sometimes it pays off being stubborn. You stay that way, girl," he told Lady.

James walked slightly ahead, but kept an eye on where Lady's nose was leading her. As he stopped by the doorway of the first abandoned house, he saw two people about 12 feet away inside. A female was sat down with a man apparently holding her against her will, his hand firmly over her mouth. James instinctively raised his gun and aimed it in their direction. It was dark, but he didn't think it was dark enough for him to miss the target if needed. Unless the guy suddenly moved. As he focused a few seconds longer, James was taken by surprise as he recognised the tiny frame of the young woman, as well as the clothes she was wearing. Come to think of it, the light that was dimly lighting the room bounced off of her skin to reveal the familiar eyes and facial structure, even with her mouth covered by the man's hand. "Sinead?" he thought aloud. He then saw what appeared to be blood running down the side of her face from her forehead. "You step the fuck away from her now," James angrily warned the man. He aimed his gun, but no matter how small the risk, he wasn't going to fire yet and there be a chance of him shooting Sinead. Besides, he wanted this guy to suffer.

Cassie managed to calm the rowdy group down for as long as it may last. As she returned to the bar, she rolled her eyes to Finn and Maggie. "I think we need to keep an eye on those guys. I'm sure they mean no harm, but a couple of them look like they've had a falling out." Cassie walked into the back to get a fresh towel, the other now soaked with spilled beer. She heard the loud knock at the back door and peered through the spy hole to see the truck parked up.

Cassie made her way back to the bar and placed her hand on Finn's shoulder, flashing him a cheerful smile. "The booze delivery is here," she told him. "Chop chop! Get to work," she teased. She would let Maggie help Finn if she wished but she placed her arm around Aidan's shoulder. "I need you to keep an eye on that group of drunks whilst I serve. The first sign of trouble, go get David from out front," she firmly asked.

Alex listened to what he said and nodded slowly "Its good Finn was there" she commented. Her eyebrows furrowed momentarily as she realised she didnt know who Finn was "Is Finn your look-a-like?" She asked thinking back to Halloween night, Alex realised she had never asked who that man was with him that night.
When Conor apologised Alex nodded in response. She knew he was only apologizing for saying it and that he had meant what he said and Apex knew that her family had done enough to warrant that hatred. When he asked if they could work, Alex thought for a moment before stepping in so she was touching his chest, she wrapped her arms around him in a hug and looked up at him, her chin resting on his chest. "If you can still love me after all the stuff my father has done to you then yes I can still love you even though you hate him" she said with a small smile.

Conor's jaw dropped in a comical fashion when he realised Alex didn't know who Finn was. "Ah, shit. You don't know Finn," he stated. "He's my cousin, but people do say we look alike and we even share the same smile. We've always been pretty close and people have often mistaken us for brothers. You'd like Finn. He's a real fun guy and because I don't get chance to smile much these days, I just have to take a look at him to remember how to laugh." Having his three cousins around the place was a breath of fresh air for the Sullivans. Conor and his siblings had been beaten down in their own ways, so it was nice to have their cousins there for some refreshing normality.

When she hugged him, Conor looked down to Alex and faintly smiled. He placed his muscular arms around her and rested his hands on her lower back. "You are not your father, Alex. I know you haven't voluntarily done anything to hurt me, so it's very easy to still love you. Not loving you would be the hardest thing," he told her. He kissed her forehead before leaning down a little further to passionately kiss her lips, placing one hand at the back of her head as he did. It pained him to no end that Alex was a Romano, as he always wished he could take her home with him and let her know his family. She'd already had a friendly encounter with Sinead at Halloween and he knew she'd get along with his cousins, if circumstances were different.

Maggie took a good couple of gulps, but didn't dare finish her drink in one go. With a satisfied sigh she placed her glass back down on the bench and turned in Finn's direction with a playful scowl. 'Aww, leave the poor boy alone Finnian.' She shoved his shoulder lightly with a laugh. 'He deserves it.' It was the best she could come up with. Cassie's arrival behind the bar caught Maggie's attention suddenly. She glanced at the table momentarily while she spoke. With a small nod she pursed her lips in a smile. 'Nothing we can't handle Cas.....' Until Cassie returned Maggie took another sip of her drink. With a smile she leaned away from it however and gave her brother a smile. 'Come on then~.'

Maggie placed the towel she was previously holding on the bench in front of her before walking ahead of Finn to the back door. For a moment, just a moment, she felt like turning back, but she threw it off as a silly feeling. She too peered through the hole for a moment, though waited for Finn to open the door and begin the exchange.

Luca had smiled when Kate brought the dog to her face before shaking his head when she mentioned that she wouldn't clean the mess Ress did. "Never said you had to, this little is gonna be travelling with me when no one is at the apartment." He was gonna make sure that Espresso was never lonely and that others in the Sullivan family family met the newest acquisition to the family. "But never say never, the days I'm not here and you're busy, well let's imagine what's gonna happen." He smirked at her before walking toward the kitchen, about to prepare some food for themselves and the pup.

Finn rolled his eyes at his sister telling him to leave poor Aidan alone, grinning wildly at her. "Oh yes Mother Maggie, the poor lad will sure crumble into bits at the slightest bit of teasing." The sarcasm in his voice was thick but it was all with good nature. His attention turned to Cassie as she revealed that the delivery had arrived. Finn nodded his head firmly at his sister as they made their way towards the door.

Finn stayed behind Maggie as she led the way down the long hall towards the back door of the pub. She seemed to look a bit tense from where he was standing and he wondered if she was okay. She stopped at the door and peered outside from the little peep hole in the door but didn't make a move to open it. Finn met her there after a few more steps and raised an eyebrow. "You alright Maggie?" He asked softly before looking out of the hole as well. His usual smile faded into a bit more serious look, trying to reassure his sister that he could handle it if anything were to go wrong. Taking a deep breath, he opened the door.

Lucy gave a short laugh in response to what James had said, giving him a playful glare but blushing as he kissed her cheek. Lady was anxiously awaiting for her masters to give her the okay to begin her search, once Lucy took a step towards the alleyway the pup stood and jogged in the direction she wanted to go. Lucy stayed silent and watched as James peered inside one of the abandoned homes. Her eyes went wide as she spotted the pair, a man was holding a woman against her will it seemed. Lucy couldn't see their faces from where she stood, but when James' voice suddenly utter her sisters name, it took her by surprise. Her name was soon followed by James warning the man to step away from her, to which Lucy immediately stepped forward to see the scene. A small gasp escaped her lips and she looked to Sinead wide eyed as Lady began to growl deeply. It was a sound Lucy had never heard from the dog before, it wasn't playful. Looking down Lady was crouched lower to the ground with her teeth bared, deep rumbling coming from her chest in warning to the man.

"Sinead...Come here." Lucy's voice wavered slightly, thick with anger as she stared at her sister's attacker. Her free arm reached forward, beckoning her to come to her, letting her know that she wouldn't be hurt by her attacker if she were to get up and leave. He would be a mad man to challenge James, a dead man.

Maggie turned her head to her brother with a look of intrigue. 'Uh, yeah, of course.' She was quite certain everything was okay, but couldn't shake the feeling regardless. She nodded her head at him in reassurance, but also took her own in his look to her. She stepped aside slightly so Finn could take the lead. 'Let's not keep them waiting shall we?' She folded her arms, ready to step out after him and aid in carrying a crate or two, at least on the first trip, as he turned the handle on the door. 'Let's not forget to count the crates,' she said to him, quickly but quietly. What Conor had said about their tricks suddenly sprung up in her mind.

Alex smiled when he talked about Finn, she could tell they were close by the way his eyes lit up. "Well you's definitely could be brothers, you's are almost identical" she laughed "but off course you're the better looking one" she winked before laughing slightly.
She smiled a genuine happy smile as he spoke about loving her. It gave her the sort of feeling that gave you pleasure, warmed you up in side almost. Like a whole new realisation that the feelings were mutual and the world was right even for just that moment. She got this everytime he said it. Alex leaned up to meet his lips and smiled against his lips before kissing his back.

The peace of the night was disturbed by the backup signal of the cargo van. It reversed into the narrow alley, the red brake lights illuminating the back of the two buildings. The car had seemed to arrive right on time, as Finn and Maggie showed up. The car reversed until a good five feet away from them. It idled for a second, the smog tumbling out of the vibrating muffler. The alley proved to be just big enough for the van, as the driver's door was able to swing open without nicking the walls.

A man in a green ivy cap stepped out from the driver's seat. He was fairly stocky, the buttons of his blazer barley able to contain his chest. He wobbled over to Finn and Maggie, holding a clipboard in his hand. He clenched the hand-rolled cigarette between his teeth as he spoke, "Alright, i'm guessing you two are here for the crates?" His eyes shifted between the two, before resting on Finn. "Sign here," the man said, moved the pen from behind his ear and placing it on the bottom of the clipboard. He then offered both of the objects to Finn. The paper on the clipboard was just a confirmation that he was who he claimed to be and that the company wasn't liable for any incidents that may occur with the shipment.

James Porter and Sinead Sullivan

Sinead was relieved when she saw Lucy and James, even Lady who was growling quite fiercely. When Lucy beckoned her over, she hesitated a little. "She wants to stay here," Steve angrily told them. Sinead pulled his hand away from her mouth and rushed to her feet. There was a struggle as Steve grabbed at her clothes to stop her from getting away from him. Realising the asshole didn't have a gun on him, James lowered his own and rushed over to them. Shooting at Steve with Sinead struggling was too risky. Besides, the minute he fired a shot, a whole host of passers-by would hear and he wasn't sure how many people had seen him, Lucy and Lady hanging around the place.

James grabbed Steve by the throat and pressed the barrel of his gun into the man's temple. "Let go of her," James growled. The man obliged and Sinead ran straight into Lucy's arms. James lowered the gun and placed it in the holster. Still holding Steve's throat, he punched the guy in the gut, then another in the face. Steve said something about loving Sinead but that was all just pointless bullshit to James' ears as he continued laying into the guy.

By now, Steve was on the floor in a heap, clutching at his stomach before James kicked him in the ribs. A sharp knife on the nearby worktop caught James' attention. It was far too clean to have belonged to this shitty old house, so James figured it was Steve's. He picked up the knife, twirling it in his hand as he studied it. "You don't bring a knife on a date. I should teach you some manners," he coldly remarked. What kind of sick fuck was this guy? James kicked Steve again, before grabbing him by the hair and holding the knife to his throat. James looked up to see Sinead clinging on to Lucy. She'd been watching everything and was still watching now. The girl's eyes were telling James to kill Steve and that actually made him stop. Sinead had been traumatised enough in the past, witnessing dead bodies or people being slaughtered. He wasn't going to be part of another nightmare for her, as tempting as torturing this guy to death was.

"I know your face now," he quietly threatened Steve. "When I next see you, I'm going to finish this. You're going to have a slow, painful death."

Realising James wasn't going to end Steve, Sinead pulled away from Lucy and stepped outside to retrieve the gun she'd earlier dropped. She then returned to Lucy's side and aimed the gun towards Steve. "Get out of the way, James," she firmly ordered, tears still rolling down her cheek, merging with the blood.

"Put the gun down, Sinead," James growled, not moving as his body still blocked most of Steve's. "This is too public. The cops and witnesses will be all over us. Lucy, tell her," he said, hoping she could reason with her sister. Forget witnesses. He'd seen how cut up Lucy had been after killing Gianna and those other guys, so he wasn't going to let the same happen to Sinead. The girl had already been messed up enough since Emmet's death.

Finn raised an eyebrow to his sisters words an nodded in confirmation before setting his jaw as the van parked and the man got out. Finn was a happy go lucky guy, but business was business, he simply didn't feel his signature smile would do him any good in this situation so he kept his face almost expressionless. When the man assumed they were both here for the crates, he nodded his head firmly, "Okay." He murmured to him as the man handed him both the pen and clipboard with the paper he needed to sign.

Glancing through it quickly, he nodded his head to himself before signing and dating the document. "Here you are." Finn said before handing both the pen and the clipboard back to the man. "So how many we looking at here?" Finn asked curiously, wanting to get a number before they started loading them inside. Conor had informed him that they liked to try and get away without making the full delivery. Finn would do everything within his power to make sure that the integrity of this delivery stays clean. Finn glanced Maggie's way for a moment, making sure she was okay again. She had been tense earlier and it concerned him a great deal. Looking back to the man, he raised an eyebrow and tilted his head, waiting for an answer.

Lucy gawked at the man as he tried to pull Sinead back towards him, was he insane? Lucy watched as James charged the man and grabbed him by the throat. "Sinead!" Lucy cried out in relieve as the man let her go upon James' forceful demand. Her sister collided into her chest and Lucy wrapped both of her arms around her tightly,"Thank god you're alright!" She murmured to her, the air had left her lungs in shock of what she had seen. The man was stalking her sister and trying to have his way with her it seemed. She stroked her hair and tried to pry her sisters eyes away from the beating that James was giving her attacker.

But she struggled to do so and ended up watching the whole scene herself. She hadn't seen James this angry before, she wondered if he was going to finish him off. James looked over at the two of them and something made him stop. Suddenly, Sinead wiggled from her arms and grabbed her gun that she must have dropped pointing at the man and telling James to move. Lucy stared wide eyed at the girl and stepped forward as James tried to rationalize with her. Lucy moved to step in front of her sister's barrel and held up her hand. "Give it to me Sin." She demanded harshly. "This is not something you want to do...You aren't a killer and I'd rather let that scum bag live for now so that you don't become one!" Lucy did not take it easy on her sister as her voice continued to sound harsh and detached, but she knew it was the only way to get through to her. She was in a state of manic.
Before her sister could say any more on the matter, she grabbed the barrel of the gun and twisted it towards the ground. "Sinead...give it to me. Now." She demanded her sister once more. "He doesn't deserve death. That's too simple of a punishment. It won't end quickly for him."

Maggie watched the van reverse itself into its ideal position beside Finn. Its strobe red lights caused her to blink a couple times, but her vision refocused. She rolled her eyes at herself as she watched a burly looking man in a green cap and blazer. Inside, the reeled back from him, but on the outside, she matched Finn's stoic expression. Business was business afterall, and no-one would like the mood thrown off would they? For a moment, while Finn took the paper and pen, and busied himself with the details, she glanced over his shoulder at the agreement, before her eyes were wondering up and down the street. She wasn't halfhearted, but wasn't looking for anything in particular either.

Finn's question brought her out of her thoughts and she too gave the delivery guy a quizzical look. Her head tilted slightly in question, eyes going between her brother and the stranger. She smiled at Finn for a second when his eyes landed on her, before her face was stoic once again. Their best luck would be that the truck contained the exact amount of crates, and Conor wouldn't have to make any trouble later on, or have any stress added to his workload.

The man took the clipboard back, not bothering to inspect it. "Well, it sure felt like a heavy load. Take a look for yourself," The man said with a sincere smile. He walked Finn to the back of the van. The large double doors stood a foot off the ground, the windows covered with old newspapers. "All yours," The man said, moving for the handles. As he opened the doors, he quickly stood off to the side. Instead of a load of crates, Finn would find a seemingly empty cargo hold. Instead, Angel stood inside, wearing the same attire he wore on the night of Emmet's murderer. The black bandana covered his mouth, yet the hatred in his eyes were once again visible. Two guards sat on the rails, armed with submachine guns.

Before Finn had a moment to catch his bearings, Angel's gloved hands reached down and grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him aboard. In a swift motion, Angel threw him against the back of the van. A loud banging sound echoed through the alley as Finn's head dented the metal wall. Angel turned around, causing his long trench coat to sway behind him. Finn would hear an intense ringing in his ears, perhaps concussed. Angel grabbed his collar once more, raising him off the floor. He then relentlessly belted three heavy, aggressive right hooks into Finn's pretty face, almost as if he had a personal vendetta against the nice man. Sprinkles of blood sprayed across the floor of the white van, the armed gangsters watched, unfazed.

Angel let go of his collar, allowing him to collapse to the floor. The last thing Maggie would see was Angel's steel-capped boot connecting with Finn's ribs; before the gangsters slammed the back of the doors closed. The man in the green ivy cap quickly ran back into the driver's seat, not bothering to close his door. It was obvious he pressed the petal to the metal, as the tires spun in place, fishtailing the van back and forth. The car quickly shot forward like a bullet, flying out of the narrow alleyway. Maggie would be figuratively and literally left in the dust, only able to process what had just happened.

Maggie folded her arms, another feeling of uneasiness washing over her. The answer to Finn's question came out of the man's mouth, and followed it was a smile, so sincere looking, one might have questioned why she second guessed it. Her lips parted, confused at herself. But, let Finn slip past her to the back of the van, so their deal could be done. She too took a step forwards towards the van. 'Finn~.' The next few moments ripped through her like bullets. Maggie's eyes widened in fear as Finn was suddenly out of her sight, and in the van. Her immediate action was to follow, however, the driver didn't see to it. He had his slimy arms around her before she was a step further. 'NO!' She thrashed for a moment or two, and was sent sprawling back onto the cobbled alley ground with a smack, as the driver's boot met her stomach. She knew how to fight, and yet her fight or flight response failed. All she wanted to do in that moment was get to Finn. It wasn't fair. She couldn't lose him now. And yet, she was. Once she was on the floor, now metres away from her attacker, and the van, her wild eyes cast up to her brother and his attacker. 'FINN!' She screamed his name, again maybe, all sorts of horrific fear running through her as she watched the doors close, and the masked man make contact with her brother's body.

Maggie's pulled herself up in in an instant, but it wasn't fast enough to reach the driver before he was stepping on the gas, and zooming off down the alley. Once again, she screaned Finn's name after the van. She lurched forward, intent on following the van out onto the street. But she knew she couldn't. They had already made it to the end of the street. Maggie was breathing heavily, and ran her hands through her hair in utter stress as tears began streaming down her face. Her next action, was spinning around and practically hurling herself back into the back of the bar. 'CASSIE! AIDAN!' She called for her best friend and cousin through her cries.

"Conor doesn't like people standing on the tables, so no more of that else I'm telling," Cassie lightly told the customer as she handed him a fresh pint of beer. She was snapped out of her playful chatter when she heard Maggie shout for her and Aidan. She whipped around to see Maggie crying. "Oh no, what's wrong?" so softly asked. All the while, she reached her hand to the shelf underneath the bar, ready to grab the shotgun. "Where's Finn?" she asked, her tone now more severe. This was the Emerald, so she knew to always expect the worst. Her fingers rested on the gun, but she wouldn't bring it into view until she got an answer.

Maggie rounded the corner into the pub, now behind the counter in a sobbing mess. She ignored the stares from the customers completely, focused only on Cassie and Aidan. Taking deep breaths, she attempted to compose herself. One hand went through her hair again, as she eyed the shotgun for a moment, and the other she held over her throbbing stomach. Her redding eyes looked up at Cassie, still fearful. 'He's gone~!. Cassie, they took him!' She was freaking out, but she was in shock. The girl turned her back to the rest of the pub, leaning herself against the pub, hands clutching the bench behind her to still try and gather herself. 'He took him! The fucking shooter! They fucking took him!' She wanted to scream what she had seen done to him, but enough had been said already. In her distressed state, they would know soonn enough. Maggie could care less what reaction she was permeating from the customers or even from her cousins and friend. The same man who killed Emmet had now taken her own brother, and she was pissed.

Conor chuckled when Alex confirmed he was the better looking of the two cousins. "I should hope so. Finn's got his fair share of admirers without stealing mine," he joked.

When the kiss was over, Conor had to force himself to step back and end their moment. "I'm sorry I can't stick around tonight. I just had to see you and talk with you, in case things don't go too well in the next few days. I just need you to remember that no matter what happens, I will never cause you harm," he reassured her. He only hoped the same could be said for his other gang members and the Russians. "One day soon, we'll get to spend a full night together, I promise."

Cassie stood wide-eyed as Maggie seemed to be saying Finn had been taken. She then elaborated to say the shooter had taken him. From her friend's panicked words, Cassie didn't realise she meant Emmet's shooter. "What?!" she worriedly asked. She then looked to Aidan and pointed to the front entrance. "Aidan, get David!" she told him. She grabbed the shotgun and marched to the back of the pub. Holding the gun out in front, she cautiously stepped outside onto the street. The truck had gone, as had Finn. There wasn't a soul in sight. Cassie lowered the gun, lazily holding it in one hand as she covered her mouth with the other. She was shocked and scared for poor Finn.

Cassie rushed back into the pub and tossed the gun back underneath the bar. She then grabbed the telephone receiver in one hand and dialed the number for the Sullivan house with the index finger of her other. As she waited for someone to answer, she placed her free arm around Maggie's shoulder and looked ahead to see where Aidan and David were. Hopefully the two men could try find the van that had sped off. The ringing tone continued to go on - there didn't seem to be anyone at the Sullivans who could take the call. She nervously bit her lip as she hung up the receiver.

James Porter and Sinead Sullivan

Sinead frowned when both James and Lucy were telling her to put the gun down. Everyone had insisted on her carrying a weapon and learning to defend herself. Now here was a bad guy who deserved to be killed and removed from their lives. He'd already hurt her and she knew things would have been far worse had Lucy and James not stumbled upon them. Sinead tightened her jaw as Lucy ordered her to give her the gun and reasoned with her that she wasn't a killer. She could feel something ticking in her head, something just ready to flip at any second, but then she was distracted by the feeling of Lucy grabbing the barrel of the gun.

Sinead took deep breaths before loosening her grip on the gun and letting Lucy take it from her. "I'm sorry," she softly apologised to her sister. Sinead knew Lucy was right... Steve deserved a far worse punishment than this. She hugged Lucy again and rested her head on her sister's shoulder. "All I did to him was be nice. Everyone said he was strange..." she tried to explain.

Thankful disaster had been averted, James looked back to Steve and gave him a parting punch in the side of the head before getting up to his feet. He kept the knife in his hand, deciding he was keeping it for now. Perhaps he'd reunite Steve with it when they next meet. James placed a cautious hand on Sinead's shoulder and glanced to Lucy. "Sinead, how long have you been here? What did he..." James stopped mid-sentence realising this was probably a conversation for Lucy to have. Besides, he needed to get out of here before he changed his mind about leaving Steve alive. "I think I need to get you ladies home," he suggested. He didn't like leaving unfinished business, but now wasn't the right time and he needed to get both Lucy and Sinead home safe.

When he took a step back, a small frown played across her lips before it was hidden underneath a smile. She listened to what he said and bit her lip "I'll always know that" she said in a quiet yet sincere voice. She stepped forward and gave him one last hug and a quick goodbye kiss. If things were getting heated again then she wasnt sure when she would see him again. The fear that this could be the last time she saw him was back, a fear she hadn't felt since the peace started yet she would never tell Conor about this, it wouldnt make a difference anyway. "I look forward to that" she said with a wink "and I am holding you to that promise" she laughed before taking a step back "be safe and I love you" she told him before turning around and walking back the way she had came.
The evening was still early and it was a nice day so Alex decided to take the scenic route back to the apartment, she had spent the day in work and decided she wanted to go on a bit of a walk since she hadn't gone on one of her adventures in a couple of weeks

As Alex made her way back to her apartment, she would notice a police car pull up at the side of the road ahead of her. There was only one man in the car and he stepped out of the vehicle. "Alexandra Romano," he called out, clearly knowing who she was. "I'm Sergeant Banks," he said, flashing his badge. "Can we talk for a few minutes? Out here, in the car, I don't mind," he told her. His voice would sound both friendly and genuine.

Alex was enjoying the walk back to her apartment. Being out in the fresh evening air made her realise how much she had missed this, missed her little adventures. When a car stopped ahead of her Alex thought nothing off it and continued to walk up the road, she was nearly home and she knew that she was in no trouble. However when the man jumped out and called her name Alex raised a quizzical eyebrow. If she was going to be hurt or taken, she knew that she would have been grabbed off the street without warning yet she couldnt shake the feeling that his badge was fake, it was only as she approached the man and looked at the car did she realise that it was a police car, her fear of him being a fake cop passed but she still felt a little uneasy about the whole thing . She had played no hand in family affairs and was unaware of any Romano actions in the last few months so she knew that she was not have to lie during this conversation. "Off course, what can I help you with sergeant" Alex said in a helpful and friendly tone as she came to a stop beside him

The cop closed the car door and leaned against the vehicle as Alex stopped alongside him. He turned his head to face her and displayed a friendly smile. "Theoretically, there's quite a lot you could help me with, but I'm not a greedy man. I just need you to do me a small favour. It shouldn't be too difficult considering who your old man is." Sergeant Banks folded his arms and sighed. "There's a big problem with things getting into this city that shouldn't be. Right now, the guys above me are cracking down on these illegal alcohol shipments. Quite small time, considering the murders, drugs, guns and rigged betting." He stepped away from the car and turned so he was standing opposite Alex. A crooked smile developed on his face. "I'll only ask this of you once, Miss Romano. I want to know how the alcohol is getting into this city and you're going to find out for me. A name or a location for me to follow up on is all I require. Nothing too difficult for you, right?" he asked her.

The uneasiness that Finn had been feel before was subdued slightly when the man led him towards the van so they could pick up the crates. However, the doors opened and no crates were to be found. Instead he was looking up at the same man had killed his uncle. Wide eyed, Finn barely had enough time to scream at Maggie to run before the man grabbed him harshly by the collar of the shirt and pulled him into the back of the van along with a few guarded men. He was thrown back into the van, hitting his head against the metal in the back. He saw stars and groaned out in pain, he tried to face his attacker, but in that moment he saw about 6 of them coming towards him. He couldn't do anything as the man picked him up by the collar of the shirt once more and laid into him with three punches to the face.

Each blow made his ears ring loudly in his ears and he couldn't see straight any longer. "Maggie...Run!" He managed to call out to her again before the man dropped him to the floor as if he were nothing but garbage. Finn saw Maggie's mouth moving and the struggle she made to reach him. It broke his heart to think that the poor girl would lose everyone in her family now...Finn was sure he was as good as dead now. "I love you!" He strangled out after the kick to the ribs before the doors shut and Finn let his injuries quiet him.

He closed his eyes and kept his head against the cool metal of the van floor. His nose was bleeding profusely and his head felt like he was under deep water. Finn couldn't see his attacker...but he had a few words for him. "I hope you know of the war you started...its only going to end in bloodshed. None of us will get the ending we think we deserve." With that, he finally let himself fall into unconsciouness.

Lucy was relieved when her sister handed over the gun after some persistence. She fell into her arms again and Lucy wasted no time wrapping her arms around her little sister once more. She sounded so broken, it wounded Lucy. She shook her head softly as Sinead tried to explain herself for why she wanted to kill the man. "Shhh...love. You don't have to explain it to me. I understand." Lucy had dealt with her fair share of these types of men in New York, not one of them made it out alive. "Men like that don't deserve anything but torture...." Lucy had wished she would have taken her time with the men that chose to disrespect and hurt her...She wasn't going to let her sister turn into the monster she had become. Like Angel had predicted many months ago...Lucy could live knowing that she had taken away people's lives. But unlike a few months ago, she was more pleased than upset with knowing that.

Looking to James as he walked over and placed a hand on Sineads shoulder, he began questioning her about what happened and Lucy almost immediately shook her head. It was the wrong time and place to discuss something like this, especially with the attacker only a few feet away. When he suggested they head home, Lucy nodded her head and looked to Lady who was still growling at the man James had left wounded. "You'll get your chance girl." She told the pup before turning with Sinead close to her towards the exit of the alley. Walking away was hard, Lucy wanted to do nothing more than turn around and let herself plant the bullet into the guys skull herself...maybe...
