Fandom The Nexus Project

How many characters per player? Also, will posts be done in first or third person?

[QUOTE="Sensei Fox]I would say as many as you can handle. I would prefer a 3rd person perspective.

Alright perfect (I only want 2) I should be able have the CS's up within the next hour or so.

Sounds good.

We'll start when one more CS is up.

I believe I'll be starting us off soon once I do some work adding content. Neutral Characters has been updated a good bit and I'll be working on Items soon. The current Overview content will be moved to a Mechanics tab and new information will be put in the Overview. I might also add a Settings/Locations tab just for the hell of it. Once I get that all sorted (an hour or two tops) we'll get this going.

Hehehehe...that is a good anime and have you read the manga yet? It will help explain some of the things they left out

Barely on episode two, might read the manga eventually, but I have a long list and I still need to finish the OreGairu LN

Just about ready. You can keep track of your power levels as they progress in the Overview now. I'll keep track of why they progress and any special notes on your characters as they happen in the story.

The Neutral Characters and Items tabs will have text added to each item as they are encountered. We have to have some surprises, right?

Does anyone want a Settings/Locations tab before we begin?

Well the first post is up anyway, so have at it.

The powers come from the Nexus Serum so it's more on the scientific side. But ehhhhh explain what kind of mystical you want to do (if you want to go that route) and I can probably make up some sci-fi bullshit to make it happen.

Telekenesis is fine. Your secondary worries me. Try paring it down to something more specific. I think I can allow the "summoning" as long as it's within reason.

On that note, keep everything within a reasonable limit. For example, my character can sense movement through vibration, but is blind. He can only feel certain distances depending on the cause of the vibration as well. Even if I work him up to a tertiary power, his infrared vision can only see so far.

Basically, what I'm saying is balance your character a little.

Once again, the first one is a really wide power. If you're going to take strength, You'll lose speed. Vice versa. If you specialized that power into one extremely specific weapon, I might could let it slide.

Your powers should build off of each other or follow a suit. For example: If you used telekenesis as your primary, telepathy could become a secondary. As a tertiary you could summon spirits. There you have a lineup of intangible forces that work together with each other.

Vibrations is in the territory of my character, but I'll allow it. Just know my character will most likely hate you if you go with that one.

Agreed. Go for it. Can't wait to play this out.

@Newtype make sure you check out the power chart in the overview. Letting bullets phase through you should be way out of what you can do at the moment. I'll allow it this time, but consult the Overview before your next power use.

Correction, the powers mechanics are in the mechanics section now.

See you in the morning then. Want us to ragdoll you with us out of the facility or just hold for the night.
