Actually, friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people. Friendship is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association.

I was actually talking about the final boss of Yggdrasil's story.
Well, you should read her description from a few pages ago, then because she's the very said boss you said.

If Shalltear doesn't need to look like a mutant lamprey the whole time, a ginormous snake doesn't need to keep her true form the whole time as well.

Basically, she's the Rubedo of Insomnia. That NPC that can wreck the face of the Guild in a Raid party but somehow got defeated by them and captured via however is it that the not-Pokemon system of Yggdrasil works.

Date is being dumb to make that remark knowing this.

Obviously Jorm is like the Battered Hilt from Wrath of the Lich King. Insanely low drop rate, and everyone in the Raid rolled Need / Greed on the Jorm.

But I'm pretty sure they implied that the World Eater and Jormungudr were two different beings. As the blood of Jormungudr did appear in Nazrick's treasury and they never referred to as it being from the World Eater or had any relation.

That may be, but neither is this RP isn't bound in iron by the canon (we agreed on this from the very beginning since it's a necessity for a fandom RP), much less is it bound by part of the canon that were never explained. Rolling with the substitutions we have is what we agreed on.

More likely, knowing Yggdrasil, there was some sort of cash shop item involved.
What Asian MMO doesn't involve microtransactions, anyway. Especially Yggdrasil, since it all looks like a scheme from the megacorps to siphon back the salaries they pay to their workers.

EA would be proud of that monetization strategy.

Also didn't Jormungudr's sibling Fenrir appear as a simple taming animal rather than a raid boss? Well, actually thinking about it that actually makes less sense, since the whole Fenrir devouring Odin.

Though Jorm actually has more relations with Surtr...

Aura had a Fenrir pet in fact, aye.

I think you are taking canon a bit far here. Let's just tone it back before things get confrontational here.

i agree with this statement

I mean you have a game that is based off Norse and you have one of it's major players in the ending battle reduced to lackey?

And you are rather underselling the NPCs. I mean come on, there is an NPC named Demiurge for Pete's sake.

I'm not, I'm selling the Yggdrasil developers short. Fenrir is the being that killed and eaten the King god. I'm pretty sure that makes you deserve a least a boss fight.
