Fandom The New Justice League/Young Justice: Operation Cerebrum CS

@Proxemae Im cool with neutral. As long as your character is in the Justice League or Young Justice and roleplays as the hero, im cool with whatever. Now in your case, you're character is neutral, so you can be bad, but also have that good side since you are on the Young Justice team. BTW, im gonna let you and the other dude finish your characters, then we can start the roleplay
 
I'd just like to point out that @Deadly Malice asked if he could be the villain, and I allowed it. Keep in mind that there'll only be about 2 OC villains. 

Now I want to fill the second villain slot but can't decide on, like, 3 different villains.


Question: Would I be able to make OC subordinates for the villain?

Are you sure he's not Chaotic Evil?


It's not like any evil person does evil for the sake of evil, but taking psychopathic pleasure in the death of others and actively causing it sounds pretty firmly under the "evil" category to me.

Personality: Taara is very calm and focused most of the time. She tends to be reserved, but can be quite the extrovert at times. She has a distrust for people after what happened to her father. However, if you gain her trust, she will be a very good friend and close ally. Taara is very spiritual and always looks to these spirits and nature to help guide her. She also holds life as very sacred and that all life should be preserved and not harmed unless necessary.

Power(s):


Psychometric: Through objects, Taara can read the past of the person who was attached to this item or possessed it. However, she can only see back 48 hours after the item has left the owner's possession.


Medium: She can communicate and sense the presence of spirits. These could be the spirits of dead people and animals or spirits that never obtained a physical body. She can also banish dark spirits through purification rituals and practices.


Ecological/Animal Empathy: Taara is connected with nature and animals and can feel their emotions. They also provide her with focus and clarity. She can also call upon animals to help her when she needs it.


Soothsaying: She can perform a ritual or use and object someone owns to see a possible future for said person.


Aura Detection: She can detect people's aura's that in the vicinity around her, even if she can't see them.


Dark Arts: Taara has the ability to place curses on people.


Healing: Taara is adept at being able to use shamanistic healing. She can use different rituals and gifts from nature to heal herself and her allies.


Weakness(es): Since Taara is so attached to nature, being taken away from it and being in a city, for example, makes her feel disconnected and is hard for her to focus. This makes her psychometric and medium powers less effective. Also, if someone is able to suppress their aura, she will not be able to detect them spiritually. Taara's knowledge of dark arts are very limited so she does not have much experience or strength in that area. To heal someone, she needs time and focus because it is not instantaneous so it leaves her vulnerable.


Weapon(s): The only thing Taara possesses as a "weapon" is a ritual book given to her by her parents. Though, since she spent most her life in nature, she has become skilled at climbing, parkour, tracking, and stealth. However, this stealth is strongest when she is in nature as she is not as good at concealing herself in more domestic environments.


Bio/History: Taara grew up in a small home inside the forest where both of her parents were healers for the nearby village. They taught her their ways and she excelled at it. Since she lived in the woods, she constantly was out in nature exploring. She discovered that she was very in tuned to nature. Because of this, nature strengthened her powers and taught her new abilities. Taara was praised for her powers and the village went to her constantly whenever they needed help. She loved helping her people, but she would rather be out in nature. Though, one day, strangers came to the village drunk and began wreaking havoc. When Taara's father tried to intervene they killed him. Distraught, she ran to the forest and asked for curses to place on the strangers. Nature was reluctant, but they showed her a small booklet that contained dark arts. She used this to place the curse, but after seeing its effects, she vowed to never use it again. From then on she only used the arts she was taught by her parents and nature. When she turned sixteen, her mother gifted her with the ritual book they used to heal and Tara has kept it close to her ever since.


Other: Taara usually has markings painted on her body for protection and strength.

@Ryik I mean at the moment I guess you could consider him Chaotic Evil however after a hypothetical period of time had past he would get bored of being bad and do a stretch of time being good. As said his one and only motivation is fun and at the moment chaos is fun. Would you like me to change it so it reads Chaotic Evil?

I think it makes more sense, but it's ultimately your discretion.

It'll be pretty hard for him to do a stretch of time being good (alongside anyone else, at least) when he's likely to have killed more people than the villains he would fight against.

Though he has said ability, he's not one to be very manipulative but uses it in turn to flirt with other girls he finds "deserve" him. Though he is somewhat a cocky turd, Warren has developped many friends due to his never dying loyalty, making him a vexed ally.

Power of Shazam: In order to access the powers of Captain Marvel, Batson must invoke the name of the Wizard Shazam, thereby summoning the spells and energies of those extra-dimensional beings once known as "the gods on Earth". Batson also has ties to the Quintessence.


Batson must invoke the spell in order to call upon these powers. In a burst of supernatural thunder and lightning, Captain Marvel wields the mighty powers of the immortals.


Captain Marvel possesses the following superhuman and magical powers:


S for the Wisdom of Solomon: Solomon was the third king of united Israel in historical times. According to the Bible God blessed him with supernatural wisdom at his request to lead Israel. Captain Marvel has instant access to a vast amount of knowledge. The wisdom of Solomon is sometimes known as the Wisdom of the Ancients. Captain Marvel has superhuman clairvoyance and awareness. He is provided with counsel and advice in times of need. Captain Marvel has knowledge of all languages, ancient and modern warfare, and can hypnotize or enchant people with his power. The power of wisdom lends him knowledge far beyond mortal comprehension.


  • Superhuman Knowledge: Captain Marvel has exceptional photographic recall and mental acuity allowing him to read and decipher hieroglyphics, recall everything he has ever learned and solve long mathematical equations. Instantaneously he can make intuitive guesses based on limited data; to the point his guesses are almost always correct; also he has a great understanding of divine phenomenon in the mortal world.
  • Clairvoyance: Captain Marvel possesses an uncanny awareness of his circumstances that allows him to turn disadvantages into advantages.
  • Omni-lingual: He can speak every language known to humans as well as ancient or dead languages and is able to understand aliens.


H for the Strength of Hercules: In his role as Earth's Mightiest Mortal, Batson has incredible super strength. 

  • Superhuman Strength: Give him the ability to lift and/or press volumes of mass far in excess to that normally possible for a human being functioning in Earth gravity.


A for the Stamina of Atlas: The Titan known as Atlas had limitless endurance. Atlas cradled the Earth for time immemorial. He can overcome tremendous physical resistance. This superhuman ability lends to his ability to stay as Captain Marvel for elongated periods of time, survive in space and fight seemingly endless battles..

  • Self-Sustenance: He does not need to eat, sleep, or breathe as Shazam.
  • Superhuman Stamina: His incredible metabolism endows him with practically infinite endurance and inexhaustible stamina.


Z for the Power of Zeus: Zeus was Olympus's high father and the god of magical lightning bolts. Zeus' power, besides fueling the magic thunderbolt that transform Captain Marvel, also enhances Captain Marvel's other physical and magical abilities. Captain Marvel can use the magical lightning as a weapon. He can summon Zeus's lighting bolts to strike his opponents. Zeus's lightning may be used to create mythic apparatus, restore damage done to Marvel, and act as a power source for magical spells. 


  • Physical Enhancement: His muscles, height increase, weight, mass and all physical properties that differ from Billy Batson's are a magical enhancement.
  • Advanced Healing: If he is injured in battle he may call on the magical lightning to heal himself and mend wounds. If wounded, his divine and supernatural energies enable him to recover at other worldly speed.


A for the Courage of Achilles: Captain Marvel has heroic levels of inner strength from which to draw. He has the courage of the Greek Hero Achilles which in battle and while in the Captain Marvel form allows him to wield great bravery and spirit. Captain Marvel is blessed with an innate and harmonious good will. A divine cheerfulness that is characterized by his trademark grin. It gives him a perseverance that pushes him to always confront a challenge with a knowing optimism.


  • Invulnerability: Captain Marvel is virtually invulnerable, and resistant to all types of physical injuries. His resilience to damage is on par with beings such as Superman, but without the weaknesses.
  • Optimism: With the Courage of Achilles combined with the Wisdom of Solomon and the boyish personality of Warren Batson this creates a certain kind of optimism of which Captain Marvel is supremely known for. Able to smile down most opponents and using his powers in special ways other than fighting, Captain Marvel will forever remain the staple "boy scout".


M for the Speed of Mercury: By channeling Mercury's speed, Captain Marvel can easily fly and move at speeds far exceeding 535 m/h in the Earth's atmosphere. Just like most wpeedsters, his reflexes and speed enhance the impact of his uncharted physical strength. Thanks to the power of Mercury, Marvel flies as swiftly as the messenger god of Greek and Roman myth.


  • Superhuman Speed: He can move at incredible speeds making him at least fast enough to race Sprint on foot. Captain Marvel can move fast enough to render himself invisible and seemingly vanish and disappear at will. Even Superman himself (who is one of the fastest beings on Earth) admitted Captain Marvel as faster than him, and even considered him fast enough to catch an unstoppable Flash.
  • Flight: Captain Marvel can also mystically fly through the atmosphere. This enables him to soar effortlessly sub-orbital levels and travel across the planet in blinding speed. He can travel through space, but has sometimes uses devices to ease communication during interstellar travel.



Weakness(es):


High Order Magic: Only the strongest of magics can affect him in any particular way, such as those wielded by the Spectre.


Speech Impediment: The spell that allows Billy to transform into Captain Marvel is purely vocal. Therefore, if he is prevented from speaking, such as being gagged, he will not be able to transform.


Electricity: A powerful enough electric discharge can transform Captain Marvel back into Warren and vice versa. This has worked both to his advantage and detriment oftentimes.


Duration Limitation: When transformed, Warren is only able to muster enough magical energy to remain Thunderstrike for four hours. Being knocked out also triggers the deformation into his human form.


Weapon(s):


Warren is not proficient in any specific weapon but specialises in street fighting.


Bio/History:


Warren was born to Brandon and Harleen Batson, two middle class workers in our society. Brandon was a computer technician who'd given up hopes of having the Shazam power that his grandfather had wielded, guiding his son away from the power. The act was either worry or future envy.


He was a smart student, not the smartest in his grade but an effecient one to get decent grades. Warren was fond of dating the girls in his grade, even managing to impregnate his current girlfriend, Wanda Olson, great granddaughter of Jimmy Olson. The two's relationship faced many bumps though still salvage their blossoming relationship.


Warren later discovered his abilities in his tenth year of highschool in which he confided solely in his mother. She sent him to the Young Justice Initiative in secret, hoping he could learn to use his abilities without his father hindering him not to.


It should be noted, Billy Batson and his siblings no longer wield the Shazam power.

Hey everyone! Since I was thinking about doing an upcoming mission for the teammates, I was thinking that they would be split up. Like Batman said, the drug is in different cities, these being Bludhaven, Central City, Starling City, Gotham, and Metropolis. I need to preface this with the following statement: I am not the best at creating people that aren't super overpowered. I'm willing to make edits and such as needed :)  Also, I didn't realize just how many powers the Speed Force alone grants so I just went with the powers that her relation had when she was around.

Civilian Clothing: Kerra ordinarily wears faded blue jeans, black hiking boots, a white button-up shirt, and a black jacket. She might be a girl, but she has simple tastes when it comes to everyday clothing.


Personality: Kerra doesn’t see herself as hero material and only agreed to go and be among other heroes and young heroes in order to better hone her abilities. Kerra doesn’t mind working with others in pursuit of a good cause. In fact, she feels that anyone who shares her thoughts on trying to make the world a better place is someone she could be friends with.Kerra is also smart, but she doesn’t show off that fact. If anything, she keeps that fact a secret from everyone.

  • Kerra, like her Grandmother, has a connection to the speed force which happens to be related to her visualization of the speed-formula: 3x2(9YZ)4A. These formulas function as mantras that connect Kerra with the Speed Force, and few other people can utilize them. Kerra is able to move at roughly half-light speed, though she doesn’t know that. She’s having trouble making it to even Mach 1. She’s been clocked at a little over 600mph.

  • Speed Force Conduit: People who, for whatever reason, are connected to the Speed Force are sometimes called Speed Force Conduits. This means that they are connected to the Speed Force and are tethered to it.

  • Accelerated Healing: The Speed Force connection allows the speedster's body recover from injury much faster than normal.

  • Increased Perceptions: The Speed Force enhances the speedster's senses, allowing them to perceive the world at a rate attuned how fast they can react.

  • Phasing: Speed Force conduits can tap into the Speed Force to vibrate their molecules in a way to achieve intangibility for short bursts, allowing them to phase through objects.

  • Speed Force Aura: The Speed Force also manifests an aura around the speedster and whatever they are carrying, protecting them from adverse effects of their speed, such a friction with the air.

  • Superhuman Durability: The Speed Force Aura also protects speedsters from kinetic impacts, which in turn, makes them much more durable and resistant to injury than any normal human.

  • Superhuman Stamina: While not unlimited, the connection to the Speed Force does bolster the speedsters stamina well beyond the limits of a normal human.

Vortex Creations: Speed Force conduits are able to create vortices of air by running in circles or rotating their extremities at super-speed. These vortices can be used for a number of effects.





Weakness(es): Naturally, something moving at super speed is vulnerable to extreme colds. Alos the tech of anti-speedster weapons are a big thing that can hinder her powers, if only briefly. Done right, this could be detrimental to her. She isn't immune to things like bullets or sharpened steel. She isn't Supergirl you know...


Weapon(s): Hand-to-Hand combat. She isn’t afraid to stop using her speed and go toe-to-toe with her opponents.


Bio/History: Kerra has never known her parents as they were killed shortly after she was born. She has no idea if they were heroes as her adoptive parents kept that information from her. The Satos were good people and they raised her well, but Kerra always felt there was something missing from her life. Seeking these answers at age 15, she went snooping in her adoptive parents room and found an old thumb drive locked away in their closet.


The thumb drive showed an old message from her great grandmother, Jesse Chambers, who gave instructions for her daughter, Kerra’s mother, on how to access the Speed Force via a formula. Jesse didn’t go into huge detail about how to use it exactly, but Kerra figured that if she muttered it quietly under her breath or looked at it displayed somewhere, she could feel the Speed Force begin coursing through her.


Kerra finally began putting together her own suit and utilized the visor she wears to show the Formula so she can access her powers quickly. The visualization of the formula can only be seen when wearing the visor and is encrypted such that only she can access it and no one else can. Kerra has also taken her grandmother’s last name, Chambers.
