The New Eden

"we'll be fine! whatever it even MIGHT be, we could handle it if it ever came close." he said pulling his hood on his head. "it's about to rain" he said in warning.
 
She walks underneath a thick tree to provide protection from the rain then sits down again. "We can handle it, don't worry. We've taken on things worse than whatever that might be."
 
"just wait for him. if he comes to us, we have the advantage. so just sit back for a bit." he said, pulling his hood over his eyes.
 
"ok,kupo" He says stretching his small limbs.Shortly after, a looming, tentacled being, blue skin about 7 feet tall and a large beak with sharp, canine like teeth protruding from the beak.It screachs, revealing a tentacle with glass shards and blue-green blood running down it.
 
"stay your ground!" He instructed. as the monster loomed over the group, a light drizzle began misting the ground in a wet embrace.
 
"Well, Kupo, it eats us moogles so..." He braces for battle at the impending approach of the tentacled fiend
 
as soon as the beast stepped into range, a crack of thunder clapped as a hooded Shade landed on the back of this hellish beast. "not so bad at all, see?" he said with a laugh as the beast toppled to the ground, Shade's feet on the back of it's head.
 
"hmmm....its not finished" the beast's tentacles wave violently and erratically as he struggles to get up "oh no Kupo!" He rushes at the MoogleEater ready to strike
 
"Have your revenge on these beasts, little master." he offered as he held the beast's tentacles steady, two in each hand.
 
"no...malice and vengeance is not the answer...we'll bind it and seal it into the moogle clan's old cave..." he sheathes his knife, using a vine to tie its tentacles together
 
"fair enough. where would this cave be?" he inquired as he unwrapped a small golden foil and popped it's contents into his mouth.
 
"not far from here,kupo" He grabs the tentacles and tries to drag it south "can you help please?" he asks as he is able to make the bound beast move an inch
 
"just hang on tight, and try not to puke." he says as he smiles. grabs the large beast and small moogle as he shuts his eyes for a moment. "you ready?" he asks cautiously.
 
"good then." he whispered, almost to himself. as they stood in the cold fall rain, he couldn't help but remember his past. as painful memories faded to nothing, he probed the small moogle's mind for the place they meant to go.


Shade slowly opened his eyes to see the place envisioned within the small one's mind. "This it?" he asked flatly?
 
"okay Kupo, take us there...it could escape at any moment" MogBerry says getting impatient of the wait and being held
 
as he took a step into the vision in front of him, a deep, chilling sensation runs throughout the party as reality parts down the middle for them.


"THAT'S DISGUSTING." Exclaims Shade as he sits the monster down in it's own post teleport vomit. "guess he had a sensitive stomache. who wouldda guessed." he said in a joking manner. "you ok over there little fellow?" he asked Mogberry, who was doubling over.
