The New Eden

Zephyra swiftly grabs MogBerry and tosses him onto the solid ground before falling into the sand and starts to sink in. She grips the vine tightly then starts to pull herself out slowly and with difficulty.
 
Once Zephyra finally gets her legs above the sand she takes one hand off of the vine and moves it, palm facing away to one side of her, at the darkness, then below her, the darkness following the movement so there's a pitch black area right beneath her. She then lets go of the vine and lands on the shadows below her. She runs forward, toward solid ground with the shadows appearing in front of her and disappearing once she's stepped on it until she reaches MogBerry.
 
MogBerry winces from hunger,his stomache growling loudly, "Ye dont happen to have any Kupo nuts on ya ,Kupo?" he asks unsheathing his chef knife and cutting a vine
 
Zephyra sits down against a nearby tree. "Um..." She takes off her pack and searches through the things inside then shrugs. "Nope. I have some apples though." She pulls out two apples. "Want one?" She takes a bite out of one of them then hold the other out to him.
 
Brady was in the middle of the forest practicing his pitching. He put the bill of his hat down over his eyes and went up into a pitching position standing there for about five seconds straining his muscles as his veins poped up. He suddenly released with sudden speed as with a crack the ball lodged itself halfway into a tree. "D*** it that was supposed to go all the way threw."
 
Zephyra hears the crack of the ball immediately stands up, bow in hand. "What was that?" She quickly takes out an arrow from her pack and places it on the string, ready to fire then walks toward the source of the sound.
 
MogBerry readys his knife and follows Zephyra,taking the vine with him.Every now and then taking a sip of the Kupo Nut beverage.
 
"No NO! i told you! you gotta PUSH! FEEL the ball going through the tree!That's where you get that kind of power from." Shade exclaimed as he stepped up to retrieve the ball.
 
Zephyra looks forward curiously. "Is that...?" She looks down the be sure MogBerry is next to her then walked through the trees and glanced all around, not seeing anyone since he was in the tree. "Who's there?"
 
MogBerry hears the yelling and collapses, covering his ears.Moogles have large ears and keen hearing so that hurt bad."ack...what the-" He stands back up "I'll check it out" He tells zephyra and begins silently hopping trees to see the two people
 
Zephyra nods and keeps her bow at ready in front of her, in case someone were to jump out. "Be careful. It could be one the Leader's men."
 
"You need to be quieter if you are intentionally sneaking in on someone" He says, stepping from the shadows behind the pair.
 
Zephyra quickly turns around and aims her arrow at his heart. "We came to see if you were a threat, sneaking up on you would just be a bonus."
 
"well, that thing wouldn't help you if i were. now would it Zephyra?" he laughed warmly as he drifted back to his comrade. "you going back to HQ?"
 
She rolls her eyes and lowers her bow then put it and her arrow back in her bag then shrugs. "Yeah, I am. I found this guy," She motions toward MogBerry "And he needed a place to stay so I figured I'd take him back with me. Apperently he doesn't like the dark." She smirks. "And what are you doing out here?"
 
"trying to help this kid focus his.....whatever you call it." he motioned back to the tall boy behind him. "is that one good for anything usefull?" he said looking at the small cloaked blob at her side.
 
She raised an eyebrow at him challengingly. "Because I said so." She glances back at MogBerry then whispers quietly to them. "And honestly, how much harm could the little guy do?"
 
Zephyra rolls her eyes at him and crosses her arms. "Whatever, he hasn't caused a problem so far and even if he does it will be fine. He's nothing all of us cannot handle."
 
"just keep an eye on the little bugger. something tells me there's more to this one than meets the eye." he warned, half smiling.


"so how was the trip?" he said, retrieving his things to join the group.
