Fun facts about Kol:

- When he first moved to the castle he was so clumsy and uncoordinated that the Captain almost sent him to be trained in the kitchen instead

- Despite his unruly and energetic manner, as well as his seeming lack of brain cells at times, one of his favorite pass-times is reading.

- He loves all food but his favorite is lamb stew, a specialty of the Head Cook in the kitchen.

- Whenever he wants to get away and not be found by the other guards, Kol will hide in the art gallery as none of the nobles of his peers ever visit it.

- He’s scared of horses and will do everything in his power to stay off of them. Even after four years training as a guard, his horsemanship skills are very subpar, if not just embarrassing.

- As an only child growing up, Kol always wished for siblings, especially younger ones. Now, he takes the children of the palace under his wing and teaches them all sorts of things from fishing to rope tying to gardening.

that's adorable!! I feel like Peyre would either be annoyed by Kol or adopt him as his brother. Is that just me? Also, can I do incorrect quotes with him?

Yes of course you can do incorrect quotes lol. And haha no I get the annoyed or brother vibe for sure!! Or both—annoying little brother.

omg, irina could never be annoyed by Kol, unless it's in training... she takes her training seriously. but irina would be so happy to make a friend... she's kinda friendless cause most people are intimidated by her and are just like fake friends with her-

pffft, well first she has to find that out the hard way by dragging him to a training ground and seeing that for herself. but he's lucky then, he doesn't have to witness her ruthlessness with a sword just yet.

she'd probably have other interests with him, she really would try her best to make the marriage a loveful one
