I was thinking of making a bounty hunter of sorts, with Ranger like skills. But I'm wondering, half-elf, or minotaur? I'd assume a minotaur and a paladin are likely to butt heads...

To be fair, depending on character ethics there's likely to be the occasional issue regardless of race. Scumbags be scumbags and decent folk be decent folk. I don't see an issue with a little conflict if you don't.

Pretty much. Like I said it's really going to depend on the character's ethics in the long run.

Just so you know, Eldruir is fairly young by the standards of elves. Maybe 25 by human standards?

@String Theory since this is vaguely based in D&D/Tolkien-ish and I'm using a paladin, would using some of the D&D paladin stuff (detect evil, smite evil, lay on hands, etc.) be usable under my 'divine magic' strength. Just double checking so I don't unbalance things for you.

Since it's a fantasy setting, magic is a given. I don't think this is the kind of rp that needs a ton of strict rules or moderation. Everyone in here so far seems to be great storytellers and if someone does come in and take over for other people I'll talk to them about it. Just have fun and make a good story =)
