Snow thought about it for a moment and then said “Well for starters we want the same things. A long term, committed relationship, a family, a good future, and to be with someone we know will treat us right. You’re also interested in my stories which is nice because not everyone initially supported my endeavor from the get go. You’re also very beautiful and you have a look in your eyes that show you see more than you admit. I also saw a loneliness when we first met that I saw in my own eyes whenever I looked in the mirror.”

I listen to your words and it was interesting hearing how someone else thought of you. Did I really look lonely? I guess I conditioned myself to believe how I was living was normal but deep down I wanted connections and companionship. “You’re an amazing man and I’m glad I’ve gotten stuck with you.” I say with a little giggle.

Snow smiled and said “I am glad we met. You’ve given me something I haven’t had a long time.” The last girl he’d dated had betrayed his trust and then ended things when he thought they were going well. He hoped it wouldn’t happen again.

I give you a smile and I grab your hand squeezing it. “I’m glad we met too. I haven’t had a real friendship like ever and I can definitely see this going beyond a friendship.” I already felt strong feelings around you and I just wanted to enjoy your company all day.

Snow smiled and said “I’m glad you agree and I’m not going anywhere I promise you. And I hope it does go beyond just friendship. I’ve only known you for a couple days and it feels like I’ve known you for a long time.”

I glance outside and I squeeze your hand softly. “Anything else important to show me? I think I’m down for going home and just enjoying some cuddles. I’d love to read your book too. Is it just in online form or do you have a rough copy of it?” I asked in curiosity.

“Not really. Going home and cuddling sounds great. And I have copies of both printed out.” He started driving towards home and said “I’m a bit more of a homebody now just so ya know. So I’m all for just staying home and spending time together when we can.”

I was glad you had physical copies because I would love to cuddle with you and read the books at the same time. “I like going out and staying about the same amount. I usually don’t go out unless I’m with friends and I don’t really have any of those anymore.” I was a little saddened by that fact but they wouldn’t like you because they know you don’t have much money and they’re pretty money hungry bitches.

“I used to go out all the time but as I’ve gotten older I started staying busy with work. Work took up most of my day but I was able to put quite a bit of money away.”

“You should go out with me sometime. Do they have clubs around here? I think it would be fun to go out and have some drinks.” I didn’t want to force you to drink so it was just a suggestion but I do like the occasional drink and night out. “Or we could just drink some wine at the house by ourselves if that’s more of your thing.”

Snow chuckled and said “I’ve never really been much of a drinker but if you’d like to go out and do something I wouldn’t mind that at all. There are a couple bars close by that are super nice.”

“I’d love for you to come with me just to be safe and I’d love to dance with you a little bit. I promise to not get too drunk.” I was a light weight so I’d probably have only one drink and I’d be a little tipsy. It was always fun to go to a bar with my old friends and men would buy me drinks so I didn’t have to pay for them. I guess this time I’d have one man buying me drink but it also felt good knowing he was probably my future husband.

Snow smiled and said “I guess we’ll have to plan a night to go out then.” He didn’t mind the idea of going out and doing stuff with her at all. He liked that she actually wanted to go out and do stuff with him.

It’s been a week since we’ve been living together and it’s been a wonderful week. I’ve read both of your stores throughout the week and we’ve hung out a lot together. We’ve really gotten comfortable with each other and I’m starting to have more feelings for you. Whenever you were around my full attention was on you and sometimes we’d just cuddle or talk.

I haven’t started work yet because we’ve been working on getting me a debit card and I put all of my money in savings. We’re waiting for my debit card to come in the mail then I’d start applying for jobs. I was still thinking of working at the library because it seemed easy enough.

Today we were having a little cookout with some of your friends and I was nervous to meet them. You’ve told me multiple times I’d be okay but it didn’t stop my nerves. It was a nice sunny day outside so we’d be hanging outside and eating some fried fish. I was upstairs in my bedroom getting ready with a little bit of makeup and my hair in a half up and half down. I had on some shorts and a flowy tank top with the cowboy boots you gave me. I thought they were cute and they were special because they were from you.

Snow was currently getting the fish ready to be fried and getting ready to have people over. Over the past week he had gotten closer and closer to Harlow and was happy things were going so well. He was inviting a few of his old friends over those being Cassie Rain who managed the library, David Fallow and his girlfriend Julie Star who ran a pet store in the downtown area of Newberry, and Theo Rider who was the son of a local farmer. Cassie, David, and Snow had all been quite close. Unbeknownst to Snow though, Cassie had always had a crush on him but had been unable to do anything about it. Especially when Snow started being more busy due to work.

I come downstairs and I find you giving you a bright smile. “How’s the fish coming along? It smell fantastic.” I kiss your cheek quickly and I giggle. We’d be doing little touches, cuddling and kissing cheeks or foreheads but we haven’t kissed each other properly yet. I don’t know if you wanted me to kiss you or not and so I was waiting for you to make the first move. I was thinking maybe you were waiting to we eventually went on our movie date then you’d kiss me.

Snow smiled when she came down and said “Everything’s almost ready. The others are pulling in now and I was about to carry everything outside.” As he was saying that, Cassie popped her head in and said “Snow we’re here!”

When you told me they were pulling up I became a little nervous and I just nod. “I’ll help you carry some of the stuff out.” I told you with a smile and I glance over seeing the head pop into the house. I would have to learn the names of your friends and with how many people would be coming I’d mess up a little bit.
