Name: Juris Ozols

Age: 21

Ethnicity: Latvian

Loyalty: Germany

Theater: Eastern Front

Occupation: Soldier

Rank: SS-Oberschütze( SS-Senior Rifleman)

Designation: Rifleman

Division: 19th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS

Primary Weapon: Sturmgewehr 44

Sidearm: Walther P38

Personality: Juris is an introvert, tending to keep to himself when he's not in action. He's very loyal to his cause, willing fight to the end. Juris is not a very sympathetic person, only feeling bad for the innocent. He's pretty good at hiding his emotions as many soldiers tend to do. He follows others leadership blindly, as he thinks they know best. Juris tends to drink too much when he's not in combat as it's his way with coping with the war. Juris can be brutal at times.

Backstory: Juris was born in Riga, Latvia to a pretty well off family. Before the war began, his family feared a Russian occupation, knowing that it could be fatal for their family. His family decided that they would brave whatever the Soviets would throw at them but it proved to be a fatal mistake. In 1940, when the soviets occupied their country, the Soviets went after anybody who they viewed as a threat. His parents being rich and clearly against Communism were a target of the Soviets. Juris was given to his Aunt and Uncle before the Soviets got to his parents. His parents were sent to the Gulags to be never seen again. A year later in 1941 when the Germans invaded the Soviet union , the Germans arrived in Riga. They were welcomed by many as the people of Latvia had a distaste for the Russians. Juris was watching the war from the sidelines til he was able to join the military when he was 18. Juris had a hatred for the Soviets and wanted to see their demise. He joined one of the Waffen SS's Foreign Legions, gladly fighting for the Germans to get rid of the abomination called Communism.

Name: James "Jim" Whitton

Age: 27

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Loyalty: United States

Theater: European

Occupation: Soldier

Rank: Staff Sergeant

Designation: Pathfinder (formerly,) Platoon Leader (Currently)

Division: 101st Airborne, Baker Company, 1st Platoon

Primary Weapon: Springfield M1 Garand

Sidearm: Colt 1911 Handgun

Personality: Once a bright eyed pathfinder really to fight for freedom and liberty, James is now a calm, stoic, and serious commander, willing to do anything to get the mission done, and get his men out alive. Having served for nine years, he's reenlisted several times, as he can't give up on his men despite missing his wife and children. He does have a sense of humor and a love for relaxing, but only when the fighting's done. He doesn't have time for humor when Jerry's trying to blow his brains out with an MG42.

Backstory: Born to a devout Baptist family in the South, James was raised on traditional values, good and bad. While he did believe in family, integrity, kindness, and the like, he often disagreed with the more...unsavory parts of Southern society, such as the disdain for other races and often to education of any kind. He didn't get much schooling, as the area he grew up in was extremely poor, so he had to teach himself to read whenever he could. He never had a knack for farming, but he did enjoy hunting, and was especially good and making his way through the thick forests around his home. He met his sweetheart like most soldiers, the girl he'd been sweet on since childhood. Her name was Grace, and he was about to propose to her when he was drafted in 1943, just a year before D-Day. He was assigned to the Army, where upon being given the chance to join the Airborne for a higher pay, he accepted, as he'd always wanted to be in a plane. After the rigorous training, he was officially a member of the 101st, the most prestigious division of the United States Airborne. He participated in Operation Overlord, helping to ensure that German reinforcements didn't reach the beaches at Normandy before a beach head was formed. He acted as pathfinder, setting up the beacons to allow his fellow soldiers to land accurately, a major problem that plagued the operation. Everyone thought the war was over, that they'd soon cross the Rhine and be at the doorstep of the Riech. That's where they were wrong. Germany soon built a heavily fortified series of defenses are it's borders, blocking the Allies out despite victories at Bastigone and Warsaw. For ten long years the Allies tried to break that wall, failing each and every time. Casualties were incredibly high, with Jim being sent home twice for wounds he sustained in the assaults, once for a bullet wound to his leg, and another for shrapnel in his stomach sustained from artillery fire. He also got some time back home, marrying Grace in a military ceremony, before she soon moved to one of the permanent American bases in Europe, where she bore both of their children, Michael and Sarah. He has received several awards, them being two Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star for dragging a heavily wounded soldier put of the fire of machine gun nests during a raid on the defenses, and a Distinguished Service Medal for holding the line while the 101st retreated during one of the last attacks.

Name: Otto Wolff (goes by Wolff)

Age: 29

Ethnicity: Austrian-German

Loyalty: Germany

Theater: European

Occupation: Spy

Rank: SS Standartenführer (Colonel)

Designation: Intelligence Officer

Division: OKW- Abwehr Department

Primary Weapon: Astra 900

Sidearm: Knife

Personality:
Egotistical and ambitious, Wolff takes a great deal of pride in his fearsome reputation. When the tide of the war turns against the Nazis, he scoffs at it, alluding that his job is to find and capture intelligence and the fact that they are Jews is of no consequence to him. Wolff is intelligent, opportunistic, arrogant, ruthless, and relentless, but can also be circumspect, polite, and even charming.

Besides speaking German, he is also fluent in at least English and French and speaks some Italian. He is also sarcastic and seems to have a knowledge, albeit flawed, of English language idioms. Furthermore
Wolff is an opportunist acting only out of pure self-interest.

Backstory:
Born in the heart of Vienna in 1924, Otto was the youngest child of a prominent Reich-supporting family. At age 15, Austria was fully annexed into Nazi Germany, only providing his family more backing at power. At age 18 he was conscripted into the Army in 1941, and shipped to Benghazi. In that timeframe, he assisted tremendously with the capture of the city due to his intelligence knowledge. This event proved to be of interest of Erwin Rommel, who which reassigned Wolff to his personal detail in Libya. From there he learned the insights and studied the psychology of the infamous general, who in turn did the same with him.

Seeing the potential of the young man, Rommel recommended his appointment within the SS, as well as his appointment with the Abwehr... In March 1941, the Germans forced a captured SOE radio operator to transmit messages to Britain in a code that the Germans had obtained. Even though the operator gave indications that he was compromised, the receiver in Britain did not notice. Thus the Germans were able to penetrate the Dutch operation and maintained this state of affairs for two years, capturing agents, and sending false intelligence and sabotage reports. After that spur of success, Wolff was temporarily instilled within Berlin, to gather intelligence knowledge and study the Jewish populations. After this year of studying, the Füher himself requested Wolff for a precarious operation vastly knows as: Blackout.

This mission fortified the construction of the wall, as well as diverting Allied attentions to the Pacific Front. With command of this mission, Wolff successfully with the help of fellow agents were able to falsely inform the heavy hitters of the Allied powers, as well as further supply the Pacific fronts with false knowledge that they were supported for their efforts. The capture of Tokyo in 1947 was only just a pawn in the grand scheme of the Reich. By then the wall had been complete, and Wolff reaped the rewards he earned.

Promoted to the equivalent of Colonel, he was then given leave in Berlin for 3 years, allowing him to settle down briefly. However he grew stir-crazy quite quickly, and was soon deployed undercover in the European front to hopefully continue similar tactics installed during Operation Blackout. However, him and his men in 1953 were discovered by a enemy intelligence leak, which resulted in the death of his three men, and the imprisonment of himself.

Personality
Paul had went into the war with a vague idea of it being an adventure, a chance to see someplace other than the industrial slums of the city he was born in, instead it became a living nightmare of death and destruction and as he was exposed to the horrors of war Paul lost his youthful sense of hope and optimism and became a pessimistic young man with a jaded view of the world. He's seen the horrors of war first hand and listened to men crying out for their parents as they die and so any naive hope for the future he once had has died out. he resents the officers higher up than him and the government officials that never have to be sent into battle and can sit and make decisions whilst he's on the front line trying to save the lives of the men around him.

Around his fellow soldiers he can laugh and joke although he has quite a dark and sarcastic sense of humor, mostly focusing on the more morbid aspects of their lives. His dark humor or comments often fill the conversation. He tries not to get attached to the men around him, he knows the chances of any of them making it home alive are slim but he does care about them and wants them all to survive. Even after many years he's still as stubborn as he was the day he joined up, this stubbornness has gotten him into trouble just as much as its helped saved his or his fellow soldiers lives, he knows he only has the man around him and so he'll go to extreme lengths to try and keep as many of them as possible alive.

As he's the medic he feels responsible for the men around him, he's the one who's meant to look after and treat them and so every-time someone dies from an injury or is found in the middle of a battlefield beyond help he can't help but feel like it's his fault - these failures weigh on him and he tries to remember the men who died. At first he swore to remember each of their names but as the death toll and the list of names grew it became practically impossible. At first every death was taken to heart but now there's no time for that or energy so he tends to compartmentalize it all. He'll feel guilty but only in the rare dark and quiet moments where he's left alone with his thoughts, which are rare in the middle of a battlefield.

Paul isn't the type to really believe in a higher power or the idea that he's fighting for a "Cause," he's fighting so he can send money home to his family and so that his younger siblings won't have to live in a world like the one they're in now.

Even after all he's seen he's still quite a new soldier, young and fresh-faced and had the war never happened would have had his whole life ahead of him.
Pessimistic - Stubborn - Determined - Morbid - Skeptical - Hotheaded - Generous - Sarcastic - Humorous

Backstory
Born to a Glaswegian shipyard worker named Eugene Maddox and a laundry worker named Maud Maddox-Simmons he was born into a poor working class family that lived in the self proclaimed slums of Glasgow where smoke filled the sky and the people tended to work, live and die all in the same place. However in the 1930s Glasgow bore the brunt of the depression and became a skeleton of the industrial hub it once was, Paul's family was one of the many who lost their main sources of income and at the age of Paul was forced to drop out of school in an attempt to help support his family.

The loss of his job and his wife sent his Father into an alcoholic spiral and the man would spend the little money he had on drinking and gambling, often stumbling home in the middle of the night after spending most of the day in the pub. Paul grew to resent his Father, hating him for being a burden on the family and hating the spiteful bitter man he'd become and as they both got older the more strained their relationship became and the more the two butted heads. Paul blaming the man for the loss of their mother and hating him for being a deadbeat leaving him to try to raise his younger siblings, which was why he didn't volunteer straight away as his younger sister wasn't old enough to become their sole caretaker and he didn't want to leave them with their Father.

Once his younger sisters turned eighteen and sixteen respectively Paul, enlisted into the army. Seeing it as a chance to escape his drunken Father and to earn money to send back home.

Even though he wasn't a Doctor shortly after enlisting he received training to become a combat medic, he worked hard and learned the ropes and as the war went on he proved himself to be a good soldier and a good medic.

Name: Ruslan Ruslov

Age: 30 years old

Ethnicity: Russian

Loyalty: Soviet Union and to himself also.

Theater: Eastern Front

Occupation: The Red Army Partisans.

Rank: Major

Designation: All-Terrain Infantry

Division: The 666th Red Army Partisans Division a.k.a The Devils Division

Primary Weapon: PPsh-41

Sidearm: Tokarev TT-33

Personality: Impulsive, Aggressive, Humorous, Revengeful, Cold-blooded.

Backstory:

Ruslan Ruslov's story starts in Siberia, his place of birth. Both parents which were industry workers died shortly after his birth due to some accident at their place of work. The child was forced to grow up in an orphanage where he learnt the basics of any subject that could be taught in school but he also learned to defend himself, by any means necessary. This also meant more hours spent in solitary, where he used his time for physical training. He was in shape, he was aggressive when he needed to be and by the end, everyone in the orphanage respected him. He even started his own little gang inside the orphanage, where they practiced theft, lies and bullying.

However, as time went on and as he grew up, Ruslan had to eventually exit the orphanage life at the age of 16. With a couple of items, clothes and money, he begun his new life as a free, medium educated man in the Soviet Union. Ruslan Ruslov became making a living on the streets by theft, burglary and even a couple of killings. Sadly, one day, while robbing someone, he was caught by the local law enforcement. While serving time not in jail but in the gulag, he quickly learned that working until death was not an option for him. He observed that within the gulag, there was a couple of men wearing prisoner clothes but not working, yet talking with the guards, smoking cigarettes.

This was quite bizarre and everyone who passed them showed them respect or greeted them politely. That's when Ruslan started getting closer to them by helping them out in their daily tasks or sharing his plate of meal with them. Eventually, Ruslan earned their trust by saving them from a rock collapse. They quickly integrated Ruslan within their group. That's when he learned that they were vor-v-zakone (thief-in-law). Criminals and with their stars tattooed on their chests, they owned the gulag, they received the best meals of all, they made some money by gambling with the guards, thievery and taxation. Ruslan also received the stars since he proved them his undying loyalty.

As years went on, his sentence was reduced by the influence of the group and he was leaving the gulag. The group's members convinced him to join the Red Army in order to get closer to the military equipment and weaponry that he could put to the black market. Ruslan joined the Red Army's Officers School in the European part of the Soviet Union and quickly made his way towards the rank of Major, before sent to recruit and train partisans. That's how, by participating through a couple of the conflicts between Germany and the USSR, the 666th Division was formed under Ruslan's leadership.

Despite his secret past of a criminal and his use of patriotism during his speeches, Ruslan was able to manage great guerrilla tactics, using all-terrain infantry partisans units within his division and also send weaponry, equipment and/or info towards his criminal brothers. Ruslan Ruslov was a man with a double life but he always knew which side to play on once confronted. Being a mobile division, the 666th division was moving across the territory of the Soviet Union, searching for a way to infiltrate the German fortress but also searching to bring more riches back home.

Rank: Kursant (Student Officer)

Designation: Sniper

Division: The 26nd Female Infantry Division aka the Perfume & Steel Division

Primary Weapon: Mosin-Nagant M91/30 with 3.5× PU scope attached

Sidearm: Tokarev TT-33

Personality: Clever, Level-Headed, Prefers solitude (Independent), Practical, Aloof

Backstory

Born in Ukraine to an apathetic mother and an overprotective father in the year 1927, Valeriya Hudzik’s life began in a rather poor situation economically speaking. Her family, consisting of a total of 6 children including herself struggled to support themselves following the implementation of the New Economic Policy. Despite the policy’s ability for families to buy their own land, the taxes put on the large family made feeding a large household on a budget meant for 5 people rather than 7 a struggle. However, Valeriya’s childhood was one that provided her with an opportunity to learn how to hunt from her father, who warned her to beware the “The Shroud”, who preyed on little girls who were lazy and slothful, hated working, but would gossip and chatter away like anything. This, obviously, was enough to make her a considerably hard worker, but a somewhat bland one at that.

Soon, despite the dependence on their farm, the oldest two children were soon sent by their mother to work in the factories - leaving her brother and her to make money in the city. By that time, as she was 12 years old, the Soviet leadership believed that the industrial workers must be educated and liberally so- women would receive the same level of education as men. Therefore, of the 6 children, only two garnered any form of further education. In the factories, she was seen as a hard-working child, though seemingly standoffish. Her nickname soon became “samotnya divchyna” or, in English, “lonely little girl”. She would remain in her worker position until she was 17 when she was sent home from an injury under one of the large bins of ink.

Now back home, Valeriya found herself surprisingly lonely. Despite her antisocial behavior, she had made a great deal of friends during her time at the factory and had learned to become more sociable and friendly. Trying to find a way to redeem it, she soon became to seek companions, mostly males due to the influence in her life. From there she would begin to understand what it meant to have crushed, and due to her interesting personality, she would not be without a partner for long intervals whatsoever. To her father’s content, she introduced a boy to her family - a boy who did not believe in the economic plan in place by the Soviet Union. After being ridiculed and insulted by her family for having such a companion, she fled to his home in the city and stayed there until she joined the military.

The year was now 1947 and the young woman would be ready to find new employment. Due to the uncertainty of the war, enlistment began to skyrocket throughout the USSR. Men were being conscripted at an exponential rate to support the cause and women, who had been serving the military since the start, continued to enlist to help the war effort. Seeing this behavior, Valeriya realized that she must find her calling and, in the night, enlisted at a recruitment office. Within a week, she was shipped off to base, where she would be trained to join a woman’s infantry division as a specialist sniper. Now, 6 years later, Valeriya finds herself as an officer in training, assisted by her fellow woman as she combats the fascist powers.

Personality: Patriotic and close minded, Thompson has a burning passion to defend the United States and destroy Nazis. Thompson holds himself in high regards as a natural born leader and a charismatic figure within his regiment, Thompson uses his confidence to keep his men's morale high and his enemies worried. Thompson is a profiteer at heart, looting and robbing fallen foes for their keepsakes, heirlooms and anything that'll fetch some dollars back home. He has a deep loyalty to his country and his younger brother, Joey, sticking his neck out back at the Marine encampment and the midst of battle.

He speaks English and a few words of Italian from a class he took back in High-School, He is a comedian and a man of one cause, and that cause is destroying the Reich and all who support it.

Backstory:

Thompson was born November 1st, 1930 a year before his younger brother Joe. Growing up in the burrows of New York City, the brothers learned early on that life was full of good and bad people. For instance, throughout their early childhood, they branched apart. Thompson was a troubled youth, bent on making a quick buck to support his family: He lied, stole, and convinced others to buy into scams he pulled throughout “Little Italy”. However, his deeds caught up to him on a Thursday night in 1945, when he was jumped and beaten up by several Italian youths. After that accident he came to the conclusion that he was doing wrong in life and turned to sports: baseball, specifically - the pure essence of Americanism. Thompson dropped out of high-school at age seventeen, believing he had a better chance in Baseball than moving up in life and working some “Office Job” in New York, he continued to improve in the sport and even got picked up in a minor league team. The brothers noticed throughout their childhood the war kept dragging on, the Italians and Japanese fell to the might of the Allies, but ol’ Hitler and his cronies still kept a major grip on European Front. The Reich kept a fascist safe-haven available for all who hate democracy and wish for a singular world order. Around the age of nineteen Thompson, against the wishes of his parents, enlisted into the Marine Corps, striving to be the top of his class, unfortunately his brother came with him, making Thompson question whether he influenced his brother who was a genius to throw his life away on some Frontline, but he was deathly afraid of his brother dying during the midst of a battle, the thought shook him to the core. Thompson and his brother graduated basic training and moved into advanced training and were fully enlisted on May 9th, 1952, in the 4th Marines. After a grudging month they finally arrived in the Western-Front. Once they arrived he strived to prove his undying patriotism for the country that gave him endless opportunities and offered Democracy to the people. For the remainder of 1952 he was active in eight minor engagements against the Reich and two full scale assaults in the upper region of France, earning him and his brother a promotion during the Battle of Metz. The United States, British Commonwealth and the French Resistance groups struck German encampments and supply lines, stopping one supply route from the lower region of Germany to aid their fellow Nazis up in the Trier region. For his bravery and patriotism him, his brother, and three others were awarded the Medal of Honor and the promotion of Thompson to a Sergeant. The year finally ended and for New Years the brothers drank together in a trench, surrounded by thousands of young American men and women, willingly attending or conscripted to die for their values and their country.

Backstory

Joey was born on March 31st, 1931, a year after his brother. Growing up in the burrows of New York City, the brothers learned early on that life was full of good and bad people. For instance, throughout their early childhood, they branched apart. Joey was an all around good Christian and spent his time studying, attending mass and working as a paperboy down Arthur Avenue in the Bronx’s “Little Italy”.
