Kat had been between jobs when the virus struck, however, in her life-time she has carried many jobs, and fired from almost every single one of them. Her last job, which she had held onto for a record of 2 months, was a waitress. She knew better than to apply at a restaurant, especially when it came to both walking AND carrying drinks. Kat is extremely clumsy, and after dropping a hot cup of coffee in a costumer's lap, not once, not twice, but thrice times, she had been let go.

Kat uses two different short, very light weight swords. One of them hangs on the right side of her hip, snug as a bug in a scabbard, while the other is on her left. She usually uses just one in combat, and hardly ever uses them both. She had not been very experienced with swords before the virus, but she was intelligent enough to know: people ran out of bullets, and zombies were attracted to the noise, although she does have a small 380 in a holster on her thigh. Kat focuses on stealth and surprise, because she is not very strong, and would rather avoid zombies if she can.

Kat wears a dingy, black backpack, both straps wrapped around her shoulders and one across her chest. She has an assortment of non-perishable foods ie: granola bars, cans of soups, etc. She snagged a small first aid kit, which she has only had to use one or twice. A bottle of iodine, a pair of goggles, a miniature crowbar, MREs, and many other things that she could fit so it would not be too heavy.

At first glance you notice her multi-colored, pastel pink and "vanilla ice cream" (how she describes it) blonde. On the right side of her head, the pink is vibrant and eye catching, while the blond is more subtle and shorter. Her blue eyes, which are often remarked as similar to the color of the ocean, are normally adorned in a thick eyeliner, accompanied by a pert nose, small stretched earlobes, and a silver hoop through her left nostril. Kat is a small, clumsy creature, normally a head shorter than the average, and has a very petite frame. She is wearing a a long, black tank top, and black torn-up jeans that cling to her tightly.To complete her attire, she has a belt on, with various accessories, and black combat boots.

She is quick witted, sarcastic and brash, but a person with a truly golden heart. Kat would do anything for anyone, with no hesitation, and sometimes views that as her own downfall. Kat had been born in a rural area of Salt Lake City, Utah, and was quickly accompanied by her twin brother, merely moments after her first shrill cries. Kat was a curious child - always getting into trouble, questioning authority, and never caring how deep those puddles were - she always jumped. As she aged, with her twin brother by her side, they became partners in crime. Constantly pulling pranks at elementary school, getting sent out in the hall for being too outspoken, and even suspensions were given to them on a few occasions. Their father was a typical military man - while he may have been hard on them, he tried to teach them the values of life, all while mourning his wife whom the children never met. As she aged, Kat eventually grew up, and began to excel in school, focusing solely on writing and photography.




Kat had been out of state when the virus struck - she had actually been held 'safe' by a military safe zone until she finally was able to escape. She has been travelling since, to find her father and twin brother, but to no avail.
