The Little Merman (1x1 closed)

Cristopher grabbed Caspian when he fell. The boy's body rammed into his chest. He wrapped his hands around the boy tightly and he lowered himself to his knees. Caspian's legs soon followed. Christopher held The red haired boy close to his chest and rubbed his back slowly. He held Caspian's head to his chest. He could see the pain the boy was in when he tried to walk and when he fell he feared the boy would start crying. If he did Christopher would be there to comfort him. Christopher rubbed the boy's back and he gently kissed the boy's forehead.

Caspian had no choice at the moment than to go to the ground with Christopher. He was upset at himself. "I can't do it." He mumbled. He was ready to cry from both pain and sadness, but he didn't want to. He was starting to feel bad for being so afraid of the other. Clearly he seemed to only want to help. Not hurt him. His face was buried in Christopher's shoulder.

Christopher rubbed small circles around Caspian's lower back. He held the boy and he kissed his forehead. He could feel his shirt getting damp. Caspian had started to cry. He could tell the boy was embarrassed and upset but Christopher just wanted to be there for the boy.

"Shh...shhh," Christopher comforted,"It'll be ok...I've got you...it's ok I've got you." Christopher held Caspain and gently started to rock him like a child trying to help him calm down.

Caspian didn't like this. He hated not being able to do things on his own. Christopher started to rock him gently. "I...I'm sorry." He mumbled. He tried to brush his tears away. Although it didn't make him feel any better. "I can't do it..." He wanted to be able to walk like humans did. He hated this. It made him feel useless.

"Hey...hey that's ok," Christopher said kissing Caspian's forehead lightly as he rocked the boy. "Its not your fault your legs are hurt...I don't know how you ended up in that cove but you looked hurt and tired when I found you. You'll heal up just fine and it'll he ok." He took Caspian's chin and looked down into Caspian's eyes. "I promise," Christopher said smiling.

Caspian managed to calm down bit by bit. He was soon breathing became calmer. Was it really okay? Then Christopher said it wasn't his fault. But wasn't it? He'd cut himself in the attempt to get away. But not being able to move his legs couldn't be his fault. He looked up at Christopher. "Okay." He said quietly. He hoped it was true. He didn't want to be in pain forever.

Christopher smiled at Caspian and he lightly kissed the boy immune cheek. He wrapped his arms under the boy's knees and under his mid-back gently lifting him off the floor. Christopher carried Caspian back downstairs and the rested the boy on the couch again. Christopher sat next to Caspian and he took the boys hand and ran his open palm down the side of the boy's face. "You're very beautiful," He said to Caspian.

Caspian wrapped his arms a bit tighter around Christopher's neck when he was picked up. It still felt weird to him. Although it was infinitely better than walking right now. He was set down on the couch and he let go of Christopher's neck. His face grew redder at the other's words and he looked down. "No I'm not." His voice was a mumble. He was considered average in his world, he didn't see why Christopher thought he was beautiful.

"You're so freaking beautiful and you don't even know it," Christopher said taking Caspian's chin and lifted it up. This caused the boy to have to stare into Christopher's blue eyes. "You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. You're so beautiful that's I'm scared and started to second guess myself because I don't want to offend you," Christopher let go of Caspian's jaw and rolled over onto the couch trying to ignore Caspian. He tried but he just couldn't do it. Christopher rolled over once more and grabbed the sides of Caspian's head and he pulled the boy in and kissed his lips again.

Caspian's face grew as red as it could go as he listened to Christopher's words. He bit his lip a bit. He still wasn't sure if Christopher was just saying it, although he was almost sure that he meant it. He felt his heart race as his face was lifted up to look at him. He didn't want Christopher to feel like he was doing anything wrong. When he looked away from Caspian, he tried to make himself say something. Until Christopher had turned back and placed his lips on Caspian's. He was shocked for a mere moment. Although he did kiss him back. He couldn't explain it but he wanted to. Not that it seemed to make him any less nervous.

Christopher pulled away first. He was drawn to Caspian and was having fun with this so far. Caspian seemed nice and Christopher now knew the boy was gay. "I'll make us some lunch," Christopher said smiling at Caspian and caressing the boy's cheek. He got off the couch and went into the kitchen to figure out something quick to make for the two of them.

Caspian opened his eyes when Christopher pulled away. In the back of his mind he was still aware of the dangers of being here, but Christopher seemed really kind. His face grew red again when Christopher's hand touched his cheek. "O-Okay." Caspian watched him go and knew he could do nothing but wait. He ended up staring down at his legs. He still wanted to know why they hurt so bad. It didn't seem to be the normal thing. His fingers ghosted over the skin, as if expecting the legs to be a mind trick and that he would feel the scales of his tail. There was just smooth skin.
