Essentially, the wound never heals. Cauterize and youve closed the the skin (maybe some flesh over the wound) but it will still bleed. The body has the natural reaction to heal itself. Clotting the blood in the area to prevent further bleeding then focuses cell reproduction in the area. To repair the damage over time.

The way this sword acts, is that the wound never closes. You can burn it, stitch it, hold it, or whatever but unless there is some counter force of magic (IE, the blessed vessels power) it doesnt close. The demon's magic keeps the wound from "healing".

The most effective method would be cauterizing the wound past the depth of the wound and then seeking IMMEDIATE aid before infection sets in.

Yeah, neato, so it does work like how I thought. Being able to stop or slow the bleeding, but the wound never fully heals. (So, you know, stitch it but the skin will never close), just makes way more sense.

Seeking immediate aid before infection sets in is.. just.. you have to. Or you going to die from the deadliest thing in this time period, not demons but the almighty infection.

Although,internal bleeding from this guy is going to be a nightmare.

On this subject.. can Kitsunes and Half-Demons get infections? (Just curious on this one).

That's true, technically it would be, but the way it was being used at the time, it wasn't a flail. xD I just looked at him weird and asked if he knew the difference between a mace and a flail and then he started talking about morning stars and the whole conversation derailed. lol

It can be a bit annoying. My biggest is when someone snaps to get your attention. Drives me insane.

Would it be possible to do a short post acknowledging what happened in the village and sending out a party just so we can move along? I don't plan on having Kotone go to the village so if you wanted to do more clan meeting things she'll be available.

Wait, so what's the deal? A second village is getting attacked at the moment in the evening, and the message will have just recently gotten there at the point. I might need a chronological play-by-play here.

As far as we're concerned we'll only have knowledge of the first village being attacked, they can find out about the second one once they actually get out there
