Or you could. But it has demonic qualities and thats why she wears it. Only shows her face to people she trusts. Could even say my character saw it one time by accident and his indifference is what caused her to trust him enough to travel with him in the first place.

If I may ask, what specific problems do you have with it? I only made a few modifications on what was already there (window resizing so text wouldn't look weird, white text, slightly changed borders, and changed window colors). Before I consider changing, I'd like to hear why you think it's bad.

Sometimes when people make a cs layout look a certain way, they don't want others changing the colors or font because it's meant to look uniform with all the others. All profiles are meant to look the same, just with different character details.

I can understand that, but it's actually easy to change stuff like this. I can just give everyone pointers (bolding specific points in the code) to where they can customize things in their CS (colors, sizing, etc.), and then there wouldn't even be an issue. It allows for a just a bit more personalization, and I personally don't think there's much wrong with it.

I answered the question in a previous post, but it seems that I missed the space in the tag due to having had my hands at the time, so I apologize.

As for my issues with altering the appearance of the code, I'd first like to make a point to remind that this is not a code that was commissioned by a single person, but rather a code crafted for the general entirety of the RP upon the request of Cosmos . I'll be perfectly honest and straight up say that had it not been Pika or a close friend asking me to code for them, I would have promptly rejected. The personal reason aside, the CS was made in mind to follow the same general theme as the other two codes I made. Also, like Crit mentioned, I also made the code with a uniform look among the CS that use this code in mind. The only reason why I stated that using the CS is not mandatory is that I encountered an issue similar to this before because a certain person didn't like the colors I used and because I realize that this code is not very mobile friendly and there are certainly a fair number of mobile users bound to join this RP at some point.

By continuing to push and also refusing to edit your CS, you're essentially trying to pick a fight or some long-winded debate which I honestly have no time or energy for. As I've said, there's no chance that I will change my stance on this matter no matter what sort of persuasion that anyone may bring to the table.

What I meant about the personal issue is that I am not a huge fan of handing out my codes in the first place. This is even more so with allowing others to edit my codes, especially when there was no consent. If I'm being perfectly honest, I actually view the editing of my codes as rude, similarly to someone taking something I've written and editing it however they wished without even asking me for permission. I won't go as far as to say that changing the size of the font is prohibited since it's a minor change made for to make reading easier, but altering the colors or dimensions is honestly like a huge slap to the face when it's a general CS made for the RP and not specifically catered to the tastes or whims of an individual. I don't expect you to understand that point as we all have different ways of thinking, but I'd appreciate it if you'd respect that.

As for your last paragraph, I'll bring to attention that your point is technically irrelevant in this case. Pika may have asked me to code for her, but she left the designing entirely up to me and really only stepped in to inform me to make a certain image on the plot overview larger. This means that she or any other essentially had no part in the designing of the visuals of the CS code (the only thing that I didn't make is the written details). I'm allowing for the code to be used in this RP, but I still have full rights and ownership over it, meaning that I have every right to set the terms of usage of the code.

Furthermore, no one ever stated that you absolutely must use the code I made. If you really hate the slate grey that much, then I won't force you to use my code. However, I see no reason as to why you're so adamant about keeping my format if you really wish to costumize your own CS that badly.

The problem is that I do want to understand you. If it was a slap in the face, then why would I have opted to use your code or even continue with this? If "imitation is the best form of flattery," then what is this? I'm trying to see why derivatives or small edits are a rude thing for you personally. I never claimed to have made the code from scratch, so that can't be the issue. I'm not actively challenging your authority, either. I'm trying to see why you, on the flip-side of things, are so adamant about not wanting it modded in any way. To draw an analogy, professionals ask for base code infrastructures from big companies all of the time in the business world, and it's actually considered a good thing to have the code itself recognized and in widespread use. I can't see why this can't be anything but a good thing, and I want to have a fresh view from your eyes as to why this is a metaphorical spitting on your work. It doesn't make sense to me; help me understand.

Yes, but I did not put it on his character sheet as Akechi would say, "No, my Daimyo is Toyotomi Mitsuhide"(His father), and we all know that he is essentially homeless. So in all intents and purposes, he is a Ronin. In his mind, he is a samurai. He would rather die than proclaim what he truly is.

Nano, Ease off. If someone asks you why they can't do something, I expect you to answer them normally. Not with the long winded, "cuz I say so" answer you just gave.
