XD My 'plan' (*cough* I am honestly so tired it's almost 2AM halp I have no idea if this makes sense *cough*) is that Yu, as she's already accomplished, alludes to ether Aurelie forcing her to take her or not going at all. Therefore almost beginning a fight but then suffering from an episode of her condition making her extremely weakened and probably in need of some sort of protection or at least help to arrive at the grove on time. Meaning that your character both gets assistance in directions to the grove and mine makes it there herself. (Otherwise this lonesome duo ain't gonna get anywhere now that Yu's temper has been set off and the two av' about as much angst building up as possible. XD)

That's fine with me. It's not like Yu's objections will be justified soon enough anyway

Yes- but that also means the big bad demon would prob eat us. XD I'm not saying your characters weak, I'm just saying they've been made in the sense that you need at least two characters of moderate strength to hold em' off, let alone defeat em'~

Oh my. Be gentle. I haven't decided if Aurelie will draw her bow against Yu, but she will be saying more things. Would you prefer I go first or you? Both have their pros and cons

And about Cosmo , I couldn't see much problem with that fitting in. However, I'm not sure how much interaction you'd be able to partake in given the diplomatic nature of the situation and our main focus on the royalty/ambassadors, specifically the interactions of our two characters. Most of the guards are probably supposed to remain "silent but strong" during this time.

I might get a post with Fuhito made where he and his party are already directly heading for the plot-beacon tree and stumble across your character in the setting/situation of your choice (although having it culminate in a casual duel is something I'd be eager to see, that might just be me).

Count Gensokyo Not much at all. For the most part, just be a background character examining the proceedings in an incredibly bored but professional manner and providing very 'insightful' inner commentary. But the main reason I want to do it is to set down roadwork for the future, less so an immediate catalyst.

If he's stronger than he is now, do we stand a chance at our characters getting out alive? I never deigned to win any 1v1, just to escape with their lives. After all, I doubt either of us would be willing to lose actual characters a day after this began d;

It might be a bit too early to have Big Bad A be so far up north yet. If he got too strong, he could just destroy the livelihood of most of the province right off the bat. However, I could actually see him getting a free village in and then facing some local opposition at the next one.



In my head, I see this:

First, we cut out the northernmost section of Japan, and that's our general area of where the rp takes place.

I feel like the sealed boulder would be somewhere slightly to the southeast of the center of this area.

The Houraisan Province would be far up north, with its northernmost border being the coastline itself and a fair amount of land stretching in the other three directions.

I'm not sure where exatly the Mizumoto Province would be, but maybe to the west and slightly south from there.

The Fujiwara Clan would be more southwest in that regard.

Granted that I'm not sure if any other clans/provinces have been added to the world yet, I don't have any headcanons for where those might be.


What do you guys think about this?

Yennie I am game, would be a good way to force his hand since.. if he wasn't bound by contract and there was a massive terrifying demon, he would likely.. you know..

Cause there is always work elsewhere.. but if he is bound by a contractor or employer's agreement then he would have to do it and since we can easily make said agreement be for a 'period of time' such as.. till next spring, then... he is stuck and trapped in the crazy events to save the world and what not.

But, yeah, I am totally in favor of this.

Yeah, I could slowly make my way up as I gain momentum and power unless you guys nip me in the bud and drive me off, in which case I'll probably move to someone else's territory for a while. But I can't stress this enough, I don't mind what you guys want me to do so long as I get to fight things.

I'm on board with you joining up. Like Yennie said, though, you'll need to decide which faction to be hired to.


How strong is he during noon like this? I'd imagine that given the fact that he's a demon/yōkai, his strength would be more watered down when compared to what he could do during night-time.

Less "extreme southwest" and more "neighbors off to the west and kind of south from us," if that makes any sense. I have the Fujiwara Clan in mind when it comes to "extreme south." Nevertheless, it'd still be a two-to-three day walk, but maybe not as long as you were thinking.
