Fantasy The Land of Lynthia

I...honestly don't think they're so far away and in a room so poorly lit that a hood will completely hide all your features from someone you're adressing and who is looking you up and down very intently unless it's placed so far down your face it completely blocks out your sight as well =/

Well from what I was picturing in my head, it's evening so the light wouldn't be coming from the windows, at least strongly, and from torches and/or a chandelier instead. When light is positioned behind someone wearing a deep enough hood, or above (if the hood isn't drawn too far back) then the shadow it creates beneath the hood is that much stronger. This is a wizard's robe after all, not a hood from, say, a jacket. Not that I'm implying her face could be completely invisible, but her features probably wouldn't be noticed with that much detail and precision. I was also picturing your character somewhere across from her since it wasn't specified where he sat, but even then it should be somewhat difficult.

I could edit my post to help with this illusion if you like? I meant to describe her surroundings a bit more, such as the effect of the torches and chandelier, and I can also describe how her hood is positioned. I have to use a phone for my posts so by the time I finish typing key points in the RP and describing everyhing else, other details either slip my mind or I didn't think were that relevant :P

See how dark it almost is beneath his hood and he's outside while it's day^

Then imagine a torch almost directly behind Raven, and the shadow it casts over her head. Again, I wasn't trying to imply she's completely invisible, but yeah lol

Honestly I'm not seeing it. The guy's features are quite easily distinguished in that shot, especially when you stop and stare intently and rudely like Ajax is doing right now, and he looks like he has to tilt his head back to actually see in front of him properly like I said before, because this is a photoshoot about looking all magey and mysterious rather than a practical hood.

But okay I guess, it'd be easier to assume Ajax can see her properly because he's staring her down like a predator does prey, but I made a few changes since you're so dead set against it and it's easier for me to do so than for you. Ajax just took key pointers from her appearance such as her skin, hands and clothes anyway. The couple things he might not actually have noticed, maybe, would be her eyes and hair.

I'm really sorry if it bothered you... I was only telling it from my own perspective and pointing it out? To be honest I was using my own experience for my character, cause I almost always wear my jacket and it has this really big hood that others would joke with me about how I creeped them out with it cause they would hardly be able to see anything under it in different circumstances. But I really didn't care that much about it. If you feel your character could see her that clearly despite the lighting, you just had to let me know. In general I felt others would have a difficult time of it and pointed it out a number of times in my post, but it seemed like your character hardly noticed she was wearing a hood at all and she was in plain daylight. I just wanted to clarify so it wasn't, like, forgotten or something, or that it was impossible.

I'm sorry I:

Okay good <33

I always get nervous I'll upset someone with my comments, which is why I tend to use a lot of emotes or other comments to keep it light hearted lol

Speaking of, if I ever do seem like I'm upset or being emotionally unreasonable in the future (and this is to anyone) just let me know! More than likely that's not the case and I just didn't realize how my words came across as.

Yeah, see, I'm one to discuss whatever doesn't sit well by me, but by the same token I expect others to tell me when something doesn't sit right by them and we can talk about it.

That's very fair, and no complaints from me. I would prefer it actually so it can be discussed and a compromise could be reached, and both sides are happy. That's why I was worried about the concept of Raven's hood because to me it made sense, but I can also see how it may not seem so on the other side and there could even have been details I missed. So I'm not opposed to making changes when necessary, if the reasons prove a good enough point and vise versa.

Why this make me go "Dawww" for some reson?

Question How high is she? like any estimated?

I think... Standing up fully straight, about 5"4'? As she is now, probably more like 4"8'. Does that help?

@BoysPlantGraves

So hey I forgot to tag you in my latest post since I'm not really used to doing that as a thing, kind of expect everyone to read every post. Though I should let you know just in case.
