My experience is that posting orders are only required if, say, two or three people take over the thread by instaposting a bunch back-to-back, but since we're all doing pretty well at spacing out our posts between everyone else's, I don't think we need one (at least for now).

Well, the posting order is subject to change now that we are all together as a group. Does anyone have any suggestions. Because I don’t even know what I should do when it comes to organizing a posting order. Forgive me, I’m uncultured. Back in 2013 I used to roleplay and we just made sure everyone got to post without a user exceeding 3 posts without everyone having a turn.

Do y’all have any ideas? Or suggestions on how the order should go?

Like I said, posting orders are typically enforced to prevent two or three people from flooding the thread with posts (especially in a small group like this one) but, since everyone in this group is experienced enough to know not to do that, there's really no reason to put in place a posting order.

My experience is that enforcing a posting order when one isn't needed just causes the RP to stagnate and die off, as people feel a lot more constrained by not being able to post when they can/want to.

We can either change the post number allowance to 2, keep it the same, or create a post order

The reason I felt it wise to allow people to post more than once without everyone getting a turn in between is

- Character/Story Progress Purposes
- Just in case others decide to go ghost for a few days

We can always implement that like you can post 3 times without everyone getting a turn but each post after your 1/3 post has to be 6-8 hours apart. That way, to me at least, it sounds more fair and organized

Honestly I really don't think there's a need for a post order unless/until anyone posting too much or too little becomes a problem (it hasn't been up until now, so there's no reason to think it will suddenly happen).

But if this post order thing is really bothering everyone else, I'll just go with whatever the majority wants to do ._.

Personally I dont have a problem with not adhering to a strict post order. Allowing people to post 2-3 times before waiting to allow other characters to post is more than fair to me.

To add to my thought, I think, just as people with more time need to respect the fact not everyone will be able to post every day, the people who can only post every few days, or once a week, need to understand its not fair to expect rp to grind to a halt for them.

I like your idea of no more than 3 posts until everyone's gone. Waiting between posts can be hard, so maybe not the 5 hours in between rule? I totally voted for that one. Don't worry about checking in with us. That you care is definitely one of the (admittedly many) best parts of the rp.

viloxii I think you can relax and take it easy- this RP has a really good group of players, so it's okay not to be on top of every detail like you would need to be if the group had problematic people in it- don't put too much pressure on yourself.
