Kyle yawned as he walked out of the dormitory building and ambled through the hallway of the main building. He snuggled his chin into his blue scarf while making a few complicated turns and stopped at the end of a fairly empty but peaceful hallway where a grand double door awaited him. The boy glanced up at the faded 'Student Council Office' sign and entered the room, shutting the door behind him.
He walked by the large room he had entered with the usual furniture for a typical student council office. This room had been decorated to look as normal as possible for any non members. On the other hand, members of the council had their own rooms with any interior design that they wanted.
The lad walked to the second door at the right side of the room, marked 'Treasurer' and sat down at his desk. His room didn't have any particular design. For he hadn't really bothered to pick one. Yet, bookshelves that were packed with books covered the walls, leaving only room for the window behind his desk.
Speaking of his desk, the boy sighed as he stared at the paperwork piled in front of him. "Oh boy...." Kyle picked up the first sheet on the pile and leaned back in his chair, reading the material.
The paper talked about the supply progress for weapons along with the status of the Academy's trading partners. The same old boring information. Kyle let out another yawn, the massive but boring vocabulary word usage floated in his eyes, simply expanding the boring atmosphere. The boy shook his head as he leaned down as he opened one of the drawers and pulled out a key ring that jingled with countless keys hanging from the ring.
The boy placed down the paper and stood up from his chair to walk over to one of the bookshelves as he flipped a number of keys to an empty space of the ring while letting out another sigh. He stopped at a particular key, which looked the same as the other keys and took out a book from the shelf. Now, the book wasn't a book with pages. In fact, the books in his room were mostly fake. Kyle slipped the key into the book's inscribed locket at the page side and turned, clicking open the book.
A glass dagger shined inside, which Kyle took out and slipped inside his belt that held his weapons by the handle. He placed the book back to its original position, and retrieved the paper again after taking out a few more daggers as well as placing the key ring back into the drawer.
Letting out his third sigh of the day, Kyle walked out of the council office and walked to his english class. "Sorry for being late." He mumbled, still half asleep. The boy sat down in an empty seat and stared at the paper he held in his hands.
