Fantasy The Killer Academy

Kyle yawned as he walked out of the dormitory building and ambled through the hallway of the main building. He snuggled his chin into his blue scarf while making a few complicated turns and stopped at the end of a fairly empty but peaceful hallway where a grand double door awaited him. The boy glanced up at the faded 'Student Council Office' sign and entered the room, shutting the door behind him.

He walked by the large room he had entered with the usual furniture for a typical student council office. This room had been decorated to look as normal as possible for any non members. On the other hand, members of the council had their own rooms with any interior design that they wanted.

The lad walked to the second door at the right side of the room, marked 'Treasurer' and sat down at his desk. His room didn't have any particular design. For he hadn't really bothered to pick one. Yet, bookshelves that were packed with books covered the walls, leaving only room for the window behind his desk.

Speaking of his desk, the boy sighed as he stared at the paperwork piled in front of him. "Oh boy...." Kyle picked up the first sheet on the pile and leaned back in his chair, reading the material.

The paper talked about the supply progress for weapons along with the status of the Academy's trading partners. The same old boring information. Kyle let out another yawn, the massive but boring vocabulary word usage floated in his eyes, simply expanding the boring atmosphere. The boy shook his head as he leaned down as he opened one of the drawers and pulled out a key ring that jingled with countless keys hanging from the ring.

The boy placed down the paper and stood up from his chair to walk over to one of the bookshelves as he flipped a number of keys to an empty space of the ring while letting out another sigh. He stopped at a particular key, which looked the same as the other keys and took out a book from the shelf. Now, the book wasn't a book with pages. In fact, the books in his room were mostly fake. Kyle slipped the key into the book's inscribed locket at the page side and turned, clicking open the book.

A glass dagger shined inside, which Kyle took out and slipped inside his belt that held his weapons by the handle. He placed the book back to its original position, and retrieved the paper again after taking out a few more daggers as well as placing the key ring back into the drawer.

Letting out his third sigh of the day, Kyle walked out of the council office and walked to his english class. "Sorry for being late." He mumbled, still half asleep. The boy sat down in an empty seat and stared at the paper he held in his hands.

"M-My name's Mirror..." She looked Dorzo in the eyes as he brushed her tears away. "And I don't know if I shouldn't cry... It's just so hard noticing I was supposed to be here." She took a deep breath, sighing in relief as her eyes flashed red.
I can try xD

Dorzo raised an eyebrow as Mirror told him her name, followed by what she's said. "Hah? How is it so hard noticing that you're supposed to be here? I don't get ya. Haha, but that makes you interesting." He grinned, patting the girl's head. "Either way, now that you've stopped crying..." Dorzo looked toward Mei. "Shouldn't you as a teacher say anything? Aye, or are you too jealous to say a thing since I just tried to seduce you? Mrs. Meimei Wang?" He stick his tongue out as a tease.

---

Lorzo looked around the library, holding onto the book he had chosen to read. Spotting one empty seat in a corner that seemed to satisfy him, he quietly walked over, already choosing to forget about what happened earlier with the weak-looking girl who asked him for the period, and the loud one who told both of them to shush. He walked past some shelves of book when a familiar aura caught his attention.

Lorzo glanced side way to see the girl who had a spar with him standing there, seemingly struggling to find a good book to read. Now that he thought about it, he did see her earlier when talking to Nightshade, and did have the slightest curiosity of knowing her name.

It's a habit, or rather, an "honor," as Dorzo would call it, to know an opponent's name once you realized that he or she's worth the time. Having survived and fought on the streets for so long, they had seen too many people who only knew how to defend themselves with a big mouth and nothing else. Even in the academy, there were those who thought themselves as the "chosen ones" just because they got enrolled, and went bullshitting around before getting killed easily. Although Lorzo wasn't that interested himself, Dorzo would often go cheering around once he find a great opponent, and it kind of influenced him too, he guessed, for Lorzo found himself heading toward Annette's direction.

"Can't find a book?" He greeted simply without much emotions in his voice, leaning on the shelf behind her.

Mirror watched the whole thing and chuckled. Being in a killer school didn't seem very comfortable, but she was here for a reason, and she wanted to be a killer. It seemed as it Dorzo wanted to teach her some things... She quickly raised her hand. "Uhm... I have a small question." Her hand glowed with a warm red aura as her eyes turned a bloody red. Her hair swayed as her small dress with a pentagram on the right sleeve moved with her movements. She tried to stop the glowing, but her triple-bladed scythe appeared in her hand. She banged her head on the desk once again as the rose vines crawled around the scythe she leaned on her desk.

Is that better? ^^;

Snapping out of my daydream, I noticed that my scythe was in my hands and the girl I was talking to earlier had disappeared. A bit confused, I got up and looked around. The surroundings revealed that I was still in the library and that I haven't been disturbed. Stretching, I begun to think of where to go next. I didn't care to know my schedule, so I decided to wander around and pick an random room to enter.

Upon opening an random door, I realized I had entered an English class. Deciding to just sit in,

Who cares if it's my class or not

I headed to a corner seat in the back. In an attempt to look somewhat like an student, I took out a book and started reading it. The book told of closed room murders and how they were accomplished. It's quite the interesting book.

Annette's eyes shifted, casting a quick glance at Lorzo before moving back to the side. "No...not really," she mumbled when he asked about her not finding a book. She sighed and shrugged. "Oh well, I probably shouldn't be reading anyways. No time..." she said. That was a slight lie, considering the girl basically did nothing in her spare time other than reading and playing violin when she wasn't researching or plotting... But Annette would never admit to such things. Instead, she preferred to let others think she had everything figured out and couldn't be affected by anything. But in reality, her fight with Lorzo had affected her- Annette realized that she was more fragile than she wanted to be, and she hated that. "So...not to be rude, but what do you want, exactly?" she asked the boy.

Kyle fought to keep his eyelids from closing as he read over the paper. He had stayed up the previous night, helping out the academy's shop with funding and other payments with the supply. It wasn't that he was going to complain about his position but...he wasn't fond of workload, especially when he had to attend class the next morning. Hm, if he needed approval for advanced customization for weapons, he had to speak with the guidance counselor.

...He was going to walk around, back and forth the whole day, wasn't he? Kyle sighed as he closed his eyes, trying to get rid of the heavy feeling of stress and sleepiness. The boy opened his eyes again and looked up to see the teacher, he blinked when he saw the substitute and stood up from his seat.

"Hey, Mr Firth!" He smiled as he walked over to the teacher's desk and held up the paper, "I'm sorry to interrupt your class but i need your approval on something. It's quite urgent. I need to hand this in before the period ends."

Colin sighed as the new students entered, marking them down as tardy. "Well, Darren, if you hadn't read you could just have told me. Anyways, you there, with the scythe: What's your-"

He turned to Kyle as the boy interrupted, taking the papers.

"-And what, exactly, is this?", he said, shuffling through the forms.

Kyle picked at his fingernails as the substitute looked at the papers. "I need your signature of approval for some of the weapon advancements. That and just a couple of other things as well, it's all in the documents I just handed you."

He reached up and gently tugged down his scarf, letting it loosen around his neck so he can talk more comfortably, " I'm the treasurer, by the way."

Colin listened as he read over the sheets, signing them.

"They're making student council handle this, now? Geez, the school has really gone downhill as of recent. Anyways, I'll write you a permission slip to take these down to the front office. Now then-", he looked back at the boy with the scythe, "-your name?"

Hm? I felt like someone said scythe....

Figuring it must have just been my imagination I turn my attention to the teacher and the brown haired boy that's talking with him.

As I begin to wonder about their topic, a voice breaks my thoughts.

"Now then... your name?"

I stared at the teacher before realizing that he was talking to me.

"Kuran."

A short and simple reply, no point in wasting energy.

Kyle shrugged, "You could say that the Academy is getting lazy." He smiled as he lifted up his scarf and bowed at the counselor, "Well, thank you for your assistance, sir. I need to get going now, there's more paperwork that needs approval."

He turned to walk out of the door, sighing at the fact he had to go back to his office.

"Alright look, I-", Colin sighed, "-Okay. Let's do this: Tonight, the class' homework is to read the first three chapters of Catcher in the Rye, if you haven't already- we'll have a quiz on it tomorrow, so make sure to do a close reading. Anyways, since most of the class isn't here today we'll just have the rest of the period as a study hall, alright? Tomorrow we can try this again. If you wish to leave, please have a good reason to do so and I'll write you a pass."

He checked off Kuran as tardy and turned back to his paperwork.

Kyle huffed as he made a quick trip back to his office and walked out of the student council room. He held a rectangular plastic bag that was filled with large yellow envelopes that contained forms and paperwork. All he had to do was hand each envelope to its teacher then see if his job was done for the day.

The boy hung the bag over his shoulder and clumped through the hall before stopping at an open doorway. He glanced up at the room number, confirming, "Huh, Combat." The boy tapped his fist against the open door, looking around.

"Miss Lieona? Combat teach? You there~?"

--

Jane blinked as the teacher was busy working at his desk, not lifting up his head to acknowledge her. She pouted, wondering if the class had a different starting time and if she had arrived too early if that was the case.

She took out her schedule, scanning the names of teachers before finding the teacher's name to the current class she was in. She looked up and called out to the adult, "Professor Igthorn? When will the class be starting?"

Mirror looked at her scythe as it glinted. She sighed and put it under her desk, her black hair swaying as she moved. Her combat boots shined as she crossed her legs together, continuing with her work. ~Damn scythe, always wanting everything your way~ She growled under her breath, trying to stay awake, but her mind said otherwise.

Jacob rolled his shoulders as he glanced at Firth, "Alright Teach Dude, hopefully the other brahs will like read the book." He picked at his toenails for a bit. "So uh, rest of it as a study hall?"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Professor Igthorn was dedicate in his task. "Let us see, now if I attach laser-beams to the heads of the shar-" Igthorn raised his head up as he noticed a student who called out to him. He pointed at her, "IN DUE TIME MY PRETTY! NYEH-HEEH-HEH!" Professor Igthorn abruptly stood up as he tapped his fingers together in a pyramid fashion. "You, yes... Yesss... I can see the Villainy within you... And early, yes, do you have your materials?!" He dramatically pointed at Jane, "I shall mold you into a FORCE OF EVIL!" Igthorn cackled again, as he twirled his mustache, "You are early, but if you have the required materials I shall give you a bit of a head-start, ARE YOU DILIGENT AND READY TO LEARN THE WAYS OF EVIL?!!?"

Ignoring Dorzo and his teasing words, Mei stood and walked towards Mirror, his interest piqued by what had happened. It's not everyday that you see a student wielding a scythe, and yet he has already seen two today. This girl's scythe though, seems to affect her in some ways. "I'm the weaponry teacher, Mei Wong. Let me see your weapon."

Kyle frowned when he saw that the teacher wasn't present in her classroom and went on with his way. "Next stop is-" He stopped outside another doorway and tapped his fist against the open door, walking into the classroom as he did so.

"Hello? Mister Wong? Sir?"

--

Jane blinked at the teacher's enthusiasm. She smiled, even more delighted that the adult may grant her a fun lesson. "YES! I'M READY!!" She thought about the professor's words a moment and blinked, "But..what materials are you referring to? My weapons perhaps?"

Mei looked up and saw a student at the door. "Hello? Mister Wong? Sir?"

Finally, someone with brains.

"Are you a student of my class?" Mei asked.

Professor Igthorn laughed as he twirled his mustache. He shook his head, "You are only thinking in one dimension rookie! The weapon is only an instrument of Villainy! There are FAR MORE IMPORTANT THINGS FOR VILLAINY." Igthorn reached into his duster jacket as he pulled out a large black device, which had a skull and cross-bones painted over a timer, "This is a Doomsday Device. A standard tool for TRUE VILLAINY. But without a proper villain, all it is is a tool." He quickly returned it into his jacket as he stared at Jane. "You need a willing mind, and a raw passion for committing evil. And not for any "Greater Sake"." Ightorn's right eye twitched as he spat down, "Anyone who claims they are using Evil for "A DEEPER PURPOSE." IS A HACK, AND A DISGRACE TO VILLAINY!" Igthorn yelled out, clearly disturbed by the notion. He clenched his right fist as he gritted his teeth, "Those people are the worst!" He peered curiously at Jane, "Now then, as for the subject matter of my class, it is HOW TO BE A TRUE VILLAIN! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Igthorn cackled as a small storm sound played, as he raised his hands up and writhed his fingers around, all the while an light glowed under his face, giving it an ominous silhouette. Note to self, fix the Weather Control Device. "Anyway, the class itself should start soon, but as you arrived and are eager to learn evil, I shall show you the ways of PROPER VILLAINY!"

Kyle blinked as he took out one of the envelopes from the bag and held it out towards the teacher, "Of course. This is one of the core classes. But excuse me, I need to finish handing these ou-"

The boy stopped talking and narrowed his eyes when he saw a familiar figure next to a girl sitting down at a desk. He dropped his arm holding the envelope and walked over to the figure.

"Hey, dodo brain." Kyle stopped in front of Dorzo, clearly annoyed. He had been busy during the summer, running around with paperwork and helping with the funds and expense- but what is this lad doing? Flirting? Whatever it was, Kyle didn't care if he was talking to a member with a high position in the student council. He was the one dumped with work. But Dorzo? Nope, it didn't look like he was busy AT ALL.

Jane tilted her head, amused at the teacher's words. However, there was a part of her that knew that she should take this class seriously. This was Killer Academy after all. Who knows when she will get killed? It would be best for her to learn how to be like some of the killers at this place to survive.

She now looked at the professor with determination, ready to memorize all that she needed to know.

Darren looked up to the teacher then back at his reading material. He took in a deep breath then exhaled slowly. "Alright" he tried to comfort himself. "You'll just go through the semester. Maybe you'll get an easy A..." he forced a lifeless smile.

"The Catcher in the Rye" he read softly aloud. Darren cracked open the book and layed it flat against his desk. Then, he slammed his face against the book, silently weeping. An aura of despair emanated from his body.

Mirror grabbed her scythe from under her desk. It shined as the black blade seemed to grow bigger. The roses seemed to be dead, but they were bloomed and purple. She looked at Mei. "You can look at it if you want.. J-Just don't break it whatsoever." Her eyes widened as the pentagram on her sleeve shined purple.

Professor Igthorn twirled his mustache as he glanced at Jane, "Yesss... First then you must learn how to ACT like a Proper Villian! After all how can you expect to defeat competing Villains if you lack style." He tapped his fingers together in a pyramid style. Igthorn peered at Jane, as he wagged his right index finger at her "I know you will ask about the Doomsday Weapons... OF COURSE we cover them, but it comes later in the course." He smirked evilly as began cackling "MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Professor Igthorn returned his glance to Jane. "That was one of many forms of the Villainous Laugh. The laugh is an important part of True Villainy, and it is used as a mark to show your Villainy to others, a tool of intimation, inspiring underlings to arms, and much, much more." Igthorn twirled his mustache, "Now then let us start with with the history of the 'Muhahahahah'. The first well known use, of the 'Muhahahahah' was performed by the Babylonian Priest Marduk-shapik-zeri. He used this laugh during an encounter with a rival priest, who was close to becoming High Priest."

Igthorn stared at Jane making sure she was paying diligent attention, "Any questions so far?"

Dorzo let out a sigh as Mei ignored him and had his interest directly shifted to Mirror's scythe. His eyes studied the girl's scythe for a moment before a smirk played onto his lips. Well, it is a nice scythe, with interesting designs and patterns, wouldn't be weird if a weaponry teacher was interested in it.

When the familiar voice rang into his ears, Dorzo looked toward the entrance to find Kyle standing there, calling him in a weird nickname and with the usual irritation in his voice and expression. A laugh escaped his mouth before Dorzo waved his hand. "Yo, Katie," he grinned. Katie has been his nickname for Kyle ever since he first saw him, for, to him, if Kyle's a female then her name would definitely be Katie..At least for Dorzo, and probably only Dorzo thinks that way.

Lorzo watched quietly as Annette replied to him in her usual cold and calm manner. She couldn't find a good book, it's obvious to tell, but that's really none of his business. Dorzo would probably give up on this type of girl for being "too cold and like a rock," and Lorzo sighed a bit as Dorzo's most-likely comments flew past his mind. However, the fact that she was a good fighter would probably sparkled both of the brothers' interests, and both of them have the habit to train themselves by learning their opponents' skills and figuring out a way to defend themselves against the skills. The more skills they knew, the better for them to train, and Annette had showed Lorzo skills that he liked.

She seemed as if she didn't want him to be there, in which Lorzo understood. He studied Annette briefly before opening his mouth, "What's your name?" Getting the ideas crossed, he planned to leave as soon as he got what he wanted to know.
