I really a bit indecisive what to do, feel bad for percy and the fact a village was taken out
but do we even have the ability to just, go and help? Beryl did state in another post that its a crowns problem, Ana dose not know that but ya knwo meta wise.
so not sure what should be done if to proceed with the quest for the lost men or try and go back to the destroyed town

If they go chat to Beryl (now in the guild hall, following Pestle the zombie snake), she’ll give them more instructions.

Those instructions would be to avoid the area and let the King’s army deal with it.

As I said earlier, maybe they’ll revisit the town (I don’t think it was named?) at a later date, or I’ll weave it into another quest sometime.

Same. He hasn't been seen on the site in almost two weeks, so I hope he's okay.

Spoiler: My two cents that literally no one asked for. 😂

Though, if people really, really want to do the towns quest, I don't think it would technically be subverting his entire quest categorically speaking because the real quest was the ruins. It'd just be altering a small part of it! And seeing as it really could have just been a life circumstance that pulled him away, it wouldn't be an aberration to just discuss with him the means of getting it going again to operate within the framework of our revision (if he chooses, Genii so allows and the changes aren't too major.)
