Avalon sat up a bit straighter and held her head up a bit higher. "Avalon. Ever heard of it?" She was sure they hadn't because as humans go they were probably quite uncultured. "She might have," she gestured to Chrysalis, "but surely not you. I know your kind." The mermaid turned back to face the doors. "Now, back to the matter at hand. We're going through that one, right?"

Chrysalis knelt on her front legs and scooped the woman up. She wasn't heavy and after all Chrysalis had strength unimaginable. The barbs tickled herand she absorbed the poison, storing it so to speak.

"Sorted," she said blankly as Chrysalis kept the girl secure, easily. "Ok then, when U came through the purple door appeared, if that is my world, then do not cross over with me, you'll be hunted and I do not wish to hand you that fate," Chrysalis said sharply as her legs carried the two forward towards the door.

"Any door is fine, humans have spiders therefore I have an army, they are apart of the wild," she said with a glint of evil in her eye before listening to the two speak.

"Yes you are correct, I have been in the forest for almost a century, although there are a few humans who I speak with who teach me of new threats and new heroes," Chrysalis remembered the girl and the man whom she saved and nodded. Avalon. Did not ring a bell at all.

"Thank you for the introduction." William said. "Each door is most likely a different place. One, but not the red, might be the despicable void in which lays the remnants of Castle Bleck."

It was the big night! The greatest night of every fortnight! It was gaming night, and this time Shade and his cousin were planning on facing off with an online domino challenge. "Goodluck punk! Cuz i'm shredding you and those cpus like cheesepaste!" Glorified barking in his kins direction as he stared intently at the screen. "I wouldn't be so sure bro!" defended his cousin, as his the pride in his skill begun to show. 30 minutes came and gone, and at least 3 rounds of dominoes came to a conclusion. The atmosphere in the room shifted. Both parties silent as if sucked into the game itself. "Alright boys! Its dinner time!" Called a motherly voice from downstairs. "Coming!" Shade and his cousin answered.

And hour passed, Shade was now laying upside down in bed, chatting on his cousins tablet with a girl he added recently on whatsapp. "So you said you like naruto right?" "Yup! Any other recommendations?" "Haven't watched anime since 1st form. Not sure i'll be of any help mate. Sorry." "Well! In that case I, recommend you, watch onepiece!" And with that text she sent a smiley face. Shade considered the girls anime advice and immediately searched the name. "Hey Shade! Please come and get your dinner! It's getting cold!" This had been the third time shade's aunt called him to eat. "Alright hold on! I'm almost done, I swear." The screen flashed white, showing the on screen and playing its little tune. "Awww man! Dude i thought you said this thing was fully charged!" "Ughh... Damn it." Tossing the tablet aside and fretting at its shutdown he rolled himself off the bed. Taking one last look at the damned electronic. "Thanks a lot." Then it happened....

"Whoaaaa, what in the hay???? Thought this thing was dead?" Pixels of golden radiance sprinkled border to border of the tablet's screen, as he fiddled with it. "I don't get it... This thing on or not?" 3 minutes of poking the now shining screen as he was suddenly blinded by its every growing light. "Gahhh!!!" "Aghhh... Shit. What..." Waking up in a pure white room, feelings of...limbs? No... they weren't any limbs... What??? Shade could see the ceiling of the place, along with other people and...things in the area. "Where the fuck am i?!?!" He started to panic, voice echoing telepathically throughout the area. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Avalon hissed at the boy. "Oh gods, another one. Well, since you're here, how about you stop screaming? It is not pleasant. As for here, we're not sure. We were all about to go through that door," at this she pointed her tailfin at the speckled door, "but then you arrived. So, where are you from?"

(Uh, sorry for the short post guys. I've almost got everything ready, then we can go through the door.)

"You've met Vocaloids before???!!! WOA!!"

Avalon's commentary about 'knowing her kind' caused Rin to think who of their fellow Vocaloid friends could have been the lucky one to have met the mermaid before. Len tried to stop her, only to be ignored:

"Uhh, Rin that's not what she me-" "OH-OH! Was it big sis Luka?! Well, she likes Tuna and she's often paired with a tiny octopus so yeah, I think she's the one more ocean related Vocaloid... What do you think Len?! Could Luka have met her??! Why do you think she never said anything to us?" "...All I think is that you've really lost your mind this time." The boy facepalmed with a sigh, but his sister just kept on about Luka Megurine and her 'supposedly' mermaid friend, "Huh, I can see it working! You both give out a uhhh fancy...vibe?", she laughed softly.

"Someone please stop her..." The younger sibling rolled his eyes.

I didn't take long for his wish to be granted, but it didn't occur in the way he had envisioned it.

When Rin tried addressing to Avalon by the name, her voice trailed off and the girl fell unusually quiet. After a couple minutes in silence, she seemed to have reached an impasse:

"...I can't...nickname them..." She muttered to herself in shock, but her brother was close enough to hear it. "What was that?" He replied a little worried for her sudden lack of emotion.

The girl turned around, and with a serious expression leaned her hands on each of the boy's shoulders:

"Len, I can't nickname them! I can't nickname Ava because her name is already short, and I can't nickname Avalon because...then, I would have to call her Ava! And we already have an Ava! And we can't have two Avas! So, I can't nickname any of them! I can't show them I CARE!!!!" Rin burst out, confusing the heck out of her brother.

He hadn't expected for her to make such a big deal of nicknaming... Yet, in an desperate effort to cheer her up, he pulled her close to him in a hug:

"I-I'm sure they don't mind it! Nickname or not nickname, we can all see how much you like us..." He reassured, pointing with his head at her with a look of 'a little help, please?' towards both Ava and Avalon, "...Right?!"

That's when a new voice cut through the air... Air? Try more like, 'through their heads'!

The younger twin froze in place, trying to understand what was going on... "Is this...Is this TELEPATHY??!! But, but that's not possible...Is it?!"

Meanwhile, his sister had jerked her head up and gotten out of the hug, frantically searching for this new member she had to welcome. Upon seeing a floating sword in the middle of the room, her eyes lit up in curiosity and excitement. Without thinking twice, she grabbed her brother's hand and dragging him along, ran towards the strange object.

With an surprised 'wooooa?' for having been suddenly dragged by his twin, Len, who had been puzzled with the telepathy already, was confronted with the sight of a sparkling floating Katana. Confounded and speechless, the boy simply, stood there while his female counterpart didn't stop talking:

"OH.MY.GOD!" She exclaimed, "OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!"

Which every 'OMG', the girl changed position and poses. She was just SO EXCITED that she made an 360º around the newcomer, before stopping and pointing at them, turned to her brother:

"Lenny, Lenny! It's a FLOATING SWORD!!!! OHMYGOD!" "...Katana..." He corrected her, "And...I-I I can...s-see that..." , that was all he managed to reply, still dumbfounded by the situation.

"Hello there, sword friend!!" Rin raised her right arm, finally addressing the blade, "Was that you in my head a while ago?! That was SOOO COOL!! DO IT AGAIN DO IT AGAIN!!" She chanted happily while clapping her hands.

Understanding Ava's body language, Zackiel took posture and proceeded to review the 3 doors. The red and purple were there long before he came, but the dark violet one with the black stars seemed to suddenly appear with him. I sense we have some form of connection to this door. You do huh... Mmm-hmmm... I'm betting that this door leads us to a place where we can gather up some energy. Oh really now? Well i don't sense anything. Period. That's because you aren't trying hard enough of course! Zackiel ignored Kickster and Sixster's bickering about the door and recovered his stand point outside his mind. Rin made a promise for him to the clown, and...-Hey where'd that clown go off to. Zackiel made a 180 turn to face the clown, and raising an eyebrow as he confirmed the promise rin made for himself. "I promise to not open a can of whoopass on yer clown butt if you promise not to mess with any of my friends yeh?" Using a serious tone towards the clown was clearly going to be a permanent thing, as Zackiel checked him off as any kind of acquaintance.

Ava answered his earlier question...or rather tried as she was suddenly in severed pain. "Did i miss something or...?" Tilting his head slightly in a sense of loss as he gawked at her. Zackiel wondered if she'd have hurt herself somehow in his absence, but dismissed the thought when a deafening shout stereo blasted his brain. Owie! Owowowowowowowowowow! Jeeze... Who turned up the volume. Or rather who tuned into our radio in the first place. I'm thinking a telepathic being. How bout you guys? Locate and destroy them immediately. Whoa what? You want me to just go kill them now? What happened to that almighty speech about how, that was the old us, and we have an opportunity to reduce, reuse and recycle. Remember all that? I agree, but we should still find them though. It seems like they're as lost and confused as we were. And with that Zackiel begun scanning the area, which is when his eyes caught something one would call impossible and unbelievable. It was a floating sword, and not just any floating sword, but one with a mind of its own.

The twin were among the first to acknowledge its presence, and they were clearly flabbergasted by the thing's appearance. Upon making his way over Zackiel grabbed it by the handle, roughly inspecting it. "I've seen a lot of magic swords but this one. Hmmmm..." Hey! I'm sure this guy would make a really nice ally! As of everyone here! Zackiel nodded at Sixster's statement, while taking test swings and what not with the sword, recognizing its Japanese heritage right away. "I don't know who made you mate but you look pretty dang good. Hopefully in the future we could take ya for a spin." Zackiel grinned at the blade, his face reflecting off its clean edges.

(In the hub, without warning, what looked like a meteor smashed the ground. Flames engulfed the hole, and a rather pissed-off looking figure emerged from the mess. Castiel stood up from the flames, attempting to put out the fire on his hair. He looked around, his eyes dotting from one character to another. Whatever had happened had somehow removed his grace, and he was unable to use any of his angelic abilities. Still looking pissed, he stood right up and exclaimed... "Where the hell am I... where the hell is Dean?"

(dat was shitty but I was told I had to rush an introduction lol)

KA jumped, and fell on his back.

"What the flip?" He got up onto his feet and floated again. "Okay, I am not going to even try to react to this."

"Right... Sorry about that mate." Shade tried to move. "Huh??? What's going on with my-"  "OH.MY.GOD!" A voice with close proximity arose, it sounded like one of a female child.   "OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!" A young blonde and what looked like her twin arrived on the scene. Her hyper-activeness making it hard to match her voice to her movement. Dang, she's all over the place. He thought to himself. "Lenny, Lenny! It's a FLOATING SWORD!!!! OHMYGOD!" "...Katana..."  Wait, i'm a wut now? Did she just say a floating sword??? Holy crap... That explains why i can't feel anything.... Heh. Well, well, well... Who would'a thought i'd turn into a freaking katana in my own dream.  "Hello there, sword friend!!" "Was that you in my head a while ago?! That was SOOO COOL!! DO IT AGAIN DO IT AGAIN!!" "Do what again?" He asked, feeling perplexed about his situation.  "I'm dreaming right? You're all characters in some sorta dream adventure'a mine right? This is all completely fake and is just my mind recovering from my earlier...." Shade recalled exactly what happened the night before, and began to question everything. It seemed like brushing this off as a dream wasn't going to be easy.

"I've seen a lot of magic swords but this one. Hmmmm..."  Snatched up from the spot without warning by a purple haired dude, as Shade barked off his head with rebuke. "Whoaaa what the-Ey personal space mate! Put me down!" "Yo purple hair!-Whatchu think'u do'in man?!?!" Words clearly meant nothing to him as he began taking test swings with Shade. "I don't know who made you mate but you look pretty dang good. Hopefully in the future we could take ya for a spin." His face reflected back at the man in cold anger... Shade had enough. "I ain't no psychic pal but something tells me you're going fer one RIGHT NOW!!!" The now raging sword changed form. Now looking completely different and gripping the hand of the purple haired man with his own, Shade delivered him onto the floor back first with a judo throw. "That ought'a teach ya a lesson." With a hmmph and a folding of the arms Shade looked around once more, now realizing he had feeling back in his arms and legs again. "This is some messed up dream though." He proceeded to flex his hands. "Damn it's good to be back." Upon his human change his voice no longer echoed through everyones minds.

A loud crash filled the atmosphere along with the searing of flames and an unfamiliar voice. It was a great deal to take in, leaving Shade with the only option of looking on. "Hehehehahahahahaha... This is rich. A mermaid, the spider lady from crptids, twin vocaloids, a story book character, an angel from supernatural and a villain from Super-freaking-Paper Mario." He fell back on his rump and began laughing hysterically, it was simply too much to take in. "What's next huh?! Naruto?!?!"

"heh. You really think you shouldn't be scared?" The jester's head was down, not showing his face. He snapped his fingers and a top hat replaced the bell part. He looked up, one eye purple, the other orange with a red pupil. "I'll give you hell thrice over."

The Hub knocked down like a piece of paper, replaced with a green background.

"Uh, guys, we might want to move, quickly!" The room began swirling around them, the floor underfoot (or tail) moving about, though it didn't seem to be affecting anyone. The White-speckled door opened up, it's doors unhinging from the frame and falling backwards into the whirling portal. "I'm not sure where we're going, but I suggest you all get ready, cause here we g-" She was cut off by the vortex, as it had pulled her away from Chrysalis and into itself.

Rin stopped for a while, considering William's suggestions for nicknames:

"Av-uh and Ave-uh? Av-uh and Ave-uh..." She repeated, testing the sounding of the names, "Eh...I don't think these are cute enough... Good suggestion thought Willy!!!"

Meanwhile, Len was still trying to figure out what the heck was going on. Frozen in place, merely watching, he pondered whether to believe his eyes or disregard the strange sight. Everything today had certainly been unexplainable and bizarre, but at least they all were people, you know? He could accept it to an extend. But, a hovering katana??? This was as far as his brain could process as 'normal'. Nothing about this was any shade of probable! It made ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!

When their blade friend spoke again, the girl's eyes lit up with both joy and amusement:

"That!" Rin replied to his question, "It's freaking AWESOME!!" She raised both her arms in excitement.

Then the katana seemed to wonder if they were actually a figment of his imagination, perhaps a dream. This time it was Len that made a commentary, still from the spot he had been standing at for a while, in a thinking pose:

"See, that's what I've been wondering too... How much of this is reality and how much of it is not?... Right now, I'm not sure you're real."

"Len, what are you saying?" Rin quickly confronted, "I can see it and it can talk to me! Of course he's real! Just like me or you!!" "A telepathic...floating katana?... Really?" He let out softly, completely unconvinced.

His sister crossed her arms on a pout. She couldn't believe he said that! Ugh, what an irritating posture!!

Zackiel decided to come and inspect the newcomer too, thought his methods were uhhh, a lot more direct... He instantly had grabbed the sword's handle and played with it, without permission. The older twin watched with unease as the purple haired person swung the blade left and right. Okay, she was the one to usually come yelling all the place, clearly disturbing everyone in range but, grabbing without permission felt, wrong. It was certainly crossing a limit to how disruptive you could be...

"Zacky? I don't think our sword friend likes being...uhh...What is the word Len would use? Maneuvired? M-moved around??"

Her concern came too late though. Before the twins eyes, the floating sword changed into a black and grey haired boy, with a spiky hair that could compete with Len's, and literally flipped Zackiel in the air, delivering him to the ground, back first. Rin watched the entire thing wide-eyed. She didn't know whether to be in awe, because of the cool movement, or worry about Zackiel's well-being. Len though, did not hold back a commentary:

"That must have hurt." He said lacking emotion, his brain was already too overloaded to make sense of things and thus, had fallen at a more apathetic stance.

Then Rin gasped, "OH MY GOD!" She rushed to her friend's side, having been brought out of the trance by her brothers commentary, "Zacky are you okay?!"

Someone new appeared, calling for a Dean. The younger twin half-heartedly turned around, already wondering what kind of freak would pop up this time. But, upon seeing a complete normal looking person in an overcoat, he sighed extremely relieved:

"Oh, thank god!" He thought to himself, "I'm not sure how much more of this...weirdness I can take today..."

Aaaaand he had spoken too soon.

The sword/boy/are you even real? person's laughter echoed, as he somehow thought the assortment of individuals from the group to be hilarious. Then William stepped in and seemed to try to both intimidate and perhaps threaten the spiky haired boy. In an instant, everything crumbled as if they have been on a cardboard constructed movie scenery all along, and the world went green:

"Eh?!" Rin exclaimed in confusion as to what was happening, "Did someone paint the sky green?"

Len just stood there, in complete silence. He breathed a couple of times, analysing the new situation before him calm and collected. Or at least, that was the impression he was passing:

"...Would you all...excuse me for a moment?"

He said, before backing away from his sister and going further several steps, distancing himself from everyone. Then he stopped. With his back turned after a big and deep breath, he started rambling about everything, while holding his head in utter distress:

"The guy was a sword... A telepathic sword... Ahh, A TELEPHATIC FLOATING KATANA TURNED INTO A PERSON IN FRONT OF ME!! THE WORLD WENT GREEN WITHOUT EXPLANATION! THERE'S A SPIDER LADY AND A MERMAID ON OUR GROUP! AND AND ME AND RIN...UGH.... AND AVA AND THAT WILLIAM CAME FROM THE SAME PLACE WE DID AND AHHH... NOTHING MAKES SENSE AND I JUST WANNA GO HOME... WHATEVER THAT IS!! I CAN'T, I CAN'T TAKE THIS QUIETLY ANYMORE! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!????" "I'M PROBABLY GOING INSANE!!!" "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

If any of them turned to Rin to ask about Len's breakdown, she would simply shrug, as confused as everyone else.

The girl turned around to check if the rest of the group was holding it as badly as little Lenny was, when she realised that in the middle of the commotion, one of them seemed to be nowhere to find:

"Avalon? Avalon are you still with us?" There was no reply and she started to panic, "Guys...Guys! Avalon is missing!!"

The world made a quick flip, as Zackiel winced his eyes closed upon impact with the floor. "Ow..." He grunted, now laying on his back in severe pain. A mere attack like that would've had a zero effect. Ughhh... Tell that to the aching back.... oh man.... don't know if i can even move... This... is not good... We need to leave this area! And fast! Our body is becoming as fragile as a human's now. We need to leave! Aye aye captain... Waking up to the worried questions of his friend he looked up, he was still below ground level. "Arghh... I'm alright Rin... Thanks..." Zackiel recovered from the throw, getting up and dusting himself off. "Nice throw dude. Sorry about swinging ya around like that..... Thought you were a magic katana." He grinned at the newcomer, scratching his head embarrassingly. "Name's Zackiel by the way, and it's nice to meetcha." And with that he extended the hand that had victimized him in the Judo throw earlier, in hopes of compromising, and even becoming friends.

The room started to come apart like tabs of a box as the background of white was now replaced by a green. It's the clown, he's the one doing this. What about the portal? Did he reality warp that? No... That looks like-Our way out! That's the door guys! Then don't just stand here silly, let's go already! Aye aye!!! Like an astronaut about to take his first jump on the moon, Zackiel was ready to tear off towards the whirling rift in reality. Wait! Eh?? What now Kickster? Thought the plan was to get out of here first chance we got? Yeah man? For all we know, that portal might not-..... Zackiel paused at the sight of the portal expanding. In fact it was now right beneath everyone, with its gravitational pull MUCH much stronger than before. There's no need, for it is within falls reach. Ohhhhhhhh! Makes sense.  "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Down he went, plummeting through the warp, sparing his last glance towards everyone else. Their lives rested in the hands of fate now.

As she so often did, Ava had gotten caught up in her own speculation about what might be through the door, and so had only vaguely paid attention to what the others were talking about. She did tune back into the conversation when she heard someone saying her name. It turned out to be Rin, lamenting the nickname overlap between herself and Avalon. "Nicknames don't have to be shortened. Or you could call her... Lonnie, or something? Or-" Ava was caught off by a bout of sudden screaming. No, not quite screaming, more like the idea of screaming. Telepathy. Whirling around, she saw a floating sword had appeared behind them. While Rin seemed delighted, and Zackiel began to swing the Katana like a normal sword, Ava was still wrapping her head around its appearance. The only coherent thought she could muster was, Well, I think I'm no longer the strangest thing in the room.

While Ava had missed the sword's appearance, she was in prime position to see the freaking meteor smash its way through the ceiling, sink into the floor, and send up a small cloud of debris, barely missing her. By this point, Ava was savvy enough to watch for their new companion. These entrances just keep getting more dramatic. In contrast with the flashy entrance, the man that stood up from the smoking hall, appeared to be just a normal man in a trenchcoat. Him, she knew she'd seen before, but she couldn't place him. When he asked about Dean, it clicked. "You're Castiel, right? None of us really know where we are. We all appeared here as suddenly as you did. The only way out seems to be through these doors, so we were about to take one."

By the time Ava turned back to face the others, the sword was gone. In its place was a human, standing over Zackiel, who was now lying on the floor looking pained. OK, then. Ava didn't have time to react to that before William appeared to go full supervillain, as she had never doubted he would. The walls room around them seemed to fall away, leaving a green void in their place. Ava felt a tugging sensation, and saw that the black-starred door had swung open, and seemed to be pulling everything around it inside. Avalon, yelling something she couldn't make out, fell through the door, followed by Zackiel. Rin must not have seen them go; she was frantically talking about Avalon being missing. "She went through the door!" Ava shouted, hoping that the others would be able to hear her. "And we need to go through too!" The pull was getting too strong for her to fight. "See you on the other side!" Ava, hoping this wouldn't end horribly, allowed herself to fall through the door.

"You're going to regret that." he said, starting to be sucked in. "OH COME ON! I CAN"T EVEN ASSERT VENGEANCE!" He got swept in & stuff

Upon hearing Avalon had gone through the portal Rin was relieved. It seemed like the was no choice on going to join her, so it was no issue that they had been separated before. Soon enough everyone would be together again, in a new place! She watched in awe as Ava went on before her. Her imagination running wild of whatever could be beyond the spiral portal thing! Oh yes! This was going to be so much fun!!!!!

"What are we waiting?! FOR ADVENTURE!" The girl raised her right hand in fist dramatically.

Her impatience was so much, that she did not wait for the spiral to pull her inside. Instead, using what was left of the floor as propulsion, Rin quickly launched herself at the portal, hands and legs opened as if she was parachute jumping:

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

She was enjoying this so freaking much!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Len had barely stopped screaming his lungs out and the world seemed to be going wrong once more. Goddamn it! Whoever was planning these probably liked seeing him confused. I mean, for god's sake, he just came back from a nervous breakdown and you throw an apparent swirling dimensional door-way? That's not playing fair! Obviously, his complaining had absolutely no effect. Nah, why would it?

The boy stared attentively at the anomaly that consumed the floor, little by little. From the direction it was coming, it was probably one of the doors malfunctioning or something... He watched as it consumed Zackiel, Ava, William and spread towards the rest of the group. Rin had thoughtlessly jumped into it too. The younger twin facepalmed. Of course she would throw herself head first, literally, inside anything different and exciting... He would have to lecture her about jumping on strange portals later...

Thinking a bit, it had been a smart move, distancing himself, even thought he had intended it to scream his mind off, not be the last one the white hole would come for... Anyway, it gave him some preparing time he guessed... Though, everytime the anomaly grew towards him he felt more and more anxious. Len disliked uncertainties and right now, that big white thing was the most uncertain thing in his life! He just didn't know where he would end up! It could be anywhere! Who knew what universal rules that thing worked with??

The white hole inched closer and the boy could feel it pulling at him, even though it was still so far... He had started sliding towards the thing, the shoes soles squeaking in vain trying to hold him in the same spot. It wouldn't be much longer, yet, he didn't want to go. He was just getting used to this...hub place, to be thrown somewhere new again was terrifying! He was terrified of the...probably billions of outcomes this could have!

Confronted by this unavoidable fate, the boy closed his eyes. He was now hovering over the floor, fast, towards the anomaly. Len decided he did not wanted to see the trip, the in-between, he was only going to look once he had soil beneath his feet again. Soon the spiral consumed him too and the lack of everything filled himself with terror. What if he died in the trip? What if they were going to certain death?? That's when in the background the boy caught a similar voice, it was Rin's excited 'weeee' still echoing through the tunnel (It's probably some kind of wormhole right?). Listening to her voice, so carefree, filled with a childish delight, eased him a bit and the younger twin smiled:

"I just hope it's safe in there...Wherever it is."

Avalon rode the portal like a current. It was just that, a current, expect instead of blue and green water, the current glowed neon and purple, and there appeared to be faces pressed up against the outside, looking in. They were obviously human, just horribly distorted and a sickly grey. She shuddered and was spat onto the ground. Surprisingly, she could stand, without assistance. It appeared her tail had been split into...legs, scaled and orange. Where was she?

KA came out, spat onto the street. The weird sensation of him staring at himself riding the portal, an awful occurrence. In any case, he'd now changed appearance to a top hat with a red ribbon, a trench coat, and white gloves hovering an inch away from the end of the coat, like invisible limbs a little too long for it. Under the jacket, he had a black skeleton torso.

Chrysalis rolled her eyes. "God sake William I'm going to kill you," she muttered quietly but a light hearted joke. Her large legs went through the door and she practically threw the mermaid in her arms and watched her swim on. Her tail changed to legs and Chrysalis looked down, her large legs seemingly shrunk and she felt something on her back.

Chrysalis had two legs, like her life before she traded for power and her extra legs were now on her back, stratching behind her, 3 each side. She made her face, they were still useful and she stretched them as she was pushed along. Her hands around her wrists, produced her silky web and her hands were still sharp and dangerous. Multiple eyes still and a head of horns accompanied her.

"Well, this reminds me of my former life," she said before hitting a hard ground, barrel rolling and standing up again. Her clothes were more human like, a black high neck top with and open back for her legs, and then a pair of black tight trousers, and a black pair of combat boots.

"Oh well, what strange attire," she said with furrowed brows as she looked at everyone else.

"Avalon, can you walk? Want me to carry you considering you'll be like a toddler learning to walk," she said flatly as she extended a hand to her friend and studied her surroundings.

"I...I think I can. I'm not sure." She took a step forward and promptly fell to the ground. "Well, I guess that answers your question. How does anyone use these things? And does anyone know where we are?"

Mint wasn't quite sure what went wrong. She thought she'd had everything planned out perfectly. It should've been a magic circle that, once activated, would transport anyone to her castle and back whenever they wanted to visit. As she activated the circle, however, instead of the brilliant light she'd come to expect from magic rune circles, yellow... Pixels, she guessed? Rose from the runes in the circle. She found herself surrounded by them as they flooded the area. Once they dissipated, she found herself in some kind of void. With no magic circle to bring her back home.

Well... This was a problem.

The crazy comedic moment came to a lackadaisical end. Wiping tears of joy was Shade as he griped his stomach, the after effect of too much laughter was kicking in. "hooo... ughhh... Damn that was good." Scratching his hair he grinned. "Guess i really needed a laugh after all this confusing bull shit. heh heh heh." It was very hard but.... Shade had reached an understanding with his current situation, and decided to see where it would go, as when life gives you baseball bats? You crack as many heads as you can. "Ehhhh? Scared a what? You?! Hah! Don't kid yourself mate. I beat your ass 27 times already and i sure as hell could do it again." He gave the jester a dirty look, combined with a heinous smile. "Don't push your luck you 2D shaped bastard." And with that Shade made his way away from the 'scary' clown, but ended up running into the purple haired guy who clearly new naught of personal space. "Oh right. You. Thanks, would ya like another? Cuz i'd happily oblige." The purple haired guy introduced himself to be Zackiel, and proceeded to apologize for his extremely rude actions. "Heh. All is forgiven mate, no prob." Accepting the handshake, Shade too introduced himself. "Name's Shade. Nice to meetcha as well." It felt off at first, but he had a feeling that somehow they'd turn out to be good friends. Of course it was just a feeling.

"Oh great, you couldn't just have a normal kid tantrum. Instead you go wreck the place." The white area was coming apart like an origami creation as a portal began rapidly expanding beneath everyone, instantly sucking him in. "What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-" Voice disappearing into the void as he made his decent into only god knows where.

(Sorry i'm late, rushed the ending of my paragraph. Though i could literally edit this any time, heh.)

A golden spark suddenly appeared in the middle of the room. Shining brightly, it multiplied itself, spraying out pinpricks of light. It grew larger and larger, until it filled an area roughly the size of twenty-four eighty-eighths of a B4 piece of paper. Glowing, it slowly, gently, lowered itself towards the ground, swaying in a non-existent breeze.

It was then abruptly sucked down into the swirling vortex making up most of floor.
