We're making progress, guys! I know CS's are difficult. Sometimes my characters don't turn out the same way I imagined they would when I write up my CS. That's totally understandable and I imagine quite normal.
@Raphael, I'm a little confused about who Zeno is now, in the great scheme of things. I thought initially that Death was just a nickname he gave himself, but now I'm wondering if you're intention is to make him the actual embodiment of death. I would prefer it if he were still just a human, but tasked with the job of collecting the souls of the soon-to-be deceased. Saying he was once human (but then became and angel, and then a fallen one) sounds like he's too disconnected from being a mortal human being to care about being one anymore, which is the opposite effect of what I was going for with this RP. Also, my intention was for the grim reaper character to be a minion of sorts - just someone who reports to someone higher up the ladder. Have you ever seen the show Dead Like Me? That's the kind of grim reaper I'm imagining. Does that help?
@MidnightSoul The changes you made in the "On Being Supernatural" section are great! Rydel seems so much more relatable now - I can't personally relate to a vampire who loves to drink people's blood, but I can totally relate with one who's conflicted about doing it. My last comment still has to do with this color-changing eye trait you've given Rydel. I still don't get it! I'm sorry! I'm trying to justify it in my mind - like, why would vampires have special abilities? And I'm coming up with nothing. It feels a little - *cringes for even saying it* - Sue-ish. It's a special trait, but doesn't add anything to your character except allow her to stand out a little more. In the world of this roleplay, I'd like for vampires to be your basic, run-of-the-mill vampires: people who drink and need blood to survive. They are completely mortal, though as long as they take in a steady diet of human blood, they can live indefinitely. If you have a reason as to why vampires should possess special abilities (in addition to their never-aging appearance and near-immortality), then I'm all ears. But it has to be a very good reason.

I went off of Twilight along with Vampire Diaries as well, some vampires do have special abilities. I'm just gonna use Twilight for an example, Edward can read minds, Jasper can control moods or something like that, Alice can see into the future etc etc. Every vampire can't just be plain and boring so I thought making her eyes change color will make her be different from the cliche' type of vampire. I'm also gonna change it to where she has to wear this ring all the time so she can walk out into the sun. Kinda like in Vampire Diaries.Pluvious said:

@MidnightSoul Hahaha! I think Rydel's buddy, Dracula, would beg to differ on the "plain and boring" bit. Sun sensitivity is a great weakness, so I'm all for that. But no special abilities for vampires. I'm afraid Twilight and Vampire Diaries are not strong enough reasons to justify having the same sorts of abilities in this roleplay.
