Fantasy The Hellfire Games

"She's mine." Serena snarled, "And I'm busy." She cut straight down the middle of the girl's chest and then stomach, watching as blood began to ooze from the wound. Her eyes widened in delight. This was better than she could've hoped for. It was probably total torture for her older brother. Blood soaked Elodie's shirt and she began to make odd gasping noises. Her blood was very red as it trickled onto the floor.

"Am I making you hungry, Takao?" Serena said, determined to rub her victory in his stupid invisible face.

Mortified at how torturous she was being he disappeared into the darkness and left her alone to focus on her kill. What was making Serena act this way, and why was she being of no help to Takao. He couldn't hide the fact though, he was hungry. The hunger began to hurt, he had not eaten in a week. The sensation of blood running down his lips, the texture of the flesh trailing through his teeth, it is something that he can't live without. "Serena..why..what happened to us helping each other"

"Why... Are you... Doing this?" Elodie's sentences were fragmenting as she struggled for air. It seemed that Serena may have punctured a lung. Very slowly, Serena forced her hands into the neat line she had slit and grabbed Elodie's intestines. She pulled hard, ripping them out of the girl's stomach.

"Agh! Ugh!" was the noise Elodie made. Serena threw the intestines aside; maybe Ada would find them. Then, she began pulling at Elodie's other organs, throwing them all to one side. She only wanted the corpse. At some point during this, Elodie's glassed over and she stopped struggling. She was dead.

Smelling the organs he disappeared so fast. The shrieks of Elodie pierced the walls around and Ada was sure to come here soon. Appearing behind Serena he musters up a few words, but being taken over by hunger hurts more. "You only want...the corpse..?" He chattered and his teeth appeared through the hood in a big cheshire smile. He wanted the organs. The blood.

(We are two very creepy little weirdos)

"Yes." Serena said, "I intend to stuff it and hang it from one of the towers to warn off other visitors. But you can't have the blood. Or the organs. I might want to play with them later." She cut two neat slits on Elodie's wrist so that the blood could flow from there. It would make a more horrific sight, certainly. Should she pull the eyes out or leave them? Decisions, decisions. She would take the eyes, Serena decided, and she stabbed Elodie in the eyeball with the scissors.

"I don't suppose you want to play autopsy with me, brother?" Serena said, "I have spare scissors. You could help remove her eyes."

He shakes in agony. She should know how he acts if he has no food. He becomes crazy and hell bent. "I..I gotta go!" He disappears very quickly with no trace left behind. He wanted to say yes and help her but the hunger is taking over, he can't make another mistake, he must hold back. No matter how hard of a task it may be. His vision begun to blur, his smile turned dark, even his eyes shut. The emptiness of the void in his hood felt depressing and filled with anger. "Anger and hate are supreme.."

Serena smirked. She seemed to have driven her elder brother a little bit crazier than usual. She pulled Elodie's eyeballs out, first the left one, then the right one. Then, she began to drag the body up to the tower- her tower- so she could stuff it and then hang it outside. She giggled in delight as she dragged the body up the stairs, the body thumping against the steps as she went.

He knew what she was doing. Each thump from the body hitting the steps grew louder and louder. He had enough. he needs to handle his sister and figure out what happened. He disappears into the darkness and appears in her tower. waiting. "What happened to Serena..we used to be so close..but now we are barely brother and sister.."

Serena reached her tower, still dragging the body behind her. She was struggling a little now- she was only eight and Elodie's body was not willing to cooperate- but she made it. She slammed the door shut and then she saw Takao.

"Oh." Serena said. Then, she knelt down and began to stuff Elodie's body. When she was done, Serena stitched Elodie's mouth so it was stretched into a wide smile. She was proud of her handiwork.

He watched her. eyes glowing bright red. he can barely muster up words. "It looks nice.." He shows a half smile. he doesnt know what to say to her or even how to talk to her anymore. He says the first thing that comes to his mind. "What happened Serena..what happened to our friendship.." He looked down. Maybe Takao really had a heart after all. No one knows who he is or why he is the way that he is. Serena was the only one who was actually close to him.

"Our... Our friendship?" Serena said, as she sourced a rope from the corner of the room; she tied it firmly around Elodie's neck, "I thought we were just people that lived in the same house and occasionally slaughtered people together: siblings." She clambered onto the windowsill and leant out of the window, knotting the other end of the rope onto the drainpipe. Then, she kicked Elodie's body out of the window. It hung there- a warning to the humans.

He shakes his head in sadness. She really doesn't remember. Should he tell her or keep her out of the whole matter. I need to tell her.. "When did you first come to this house, how did you first get here anyway?" He was hoping that something would click into her mind about her past. Before Hellfire. Takao used to be an average teenager, lots of friends. Was actually a very popular person. This little girl was friends with his sister. Serena..that was her.

"I was born here." Serena said, confidently, "I'm certain of it. I have no memories of anywhere else prior to here." She began to rummage through her belongings, looking for a box. She had a box somewhere that was full of human hair, hair that she had ripped from victim's heads. She fully intended to use it to catch Ada. Where was the box? It was green with a pentagram scratched on the top in blood. Where was it?

He shows a half smile and pulls the box from behind his back. "I found it outside of your room on my way in. You must have left it." He hands it to her and doesn't know how to say it. "Alright were here it goes..I was not born here. I used to be a human as well. I lived a normal life taking care of my sister. She had a friend that would always hang out with her and she almost felt like my sister at one point. Her name..was Serena.."

She took the box from him and frowned.

"I'm starting to think that you are a human." she said, "You're acting really weird today, Takao." She didn't know why but she kept listening, staring at him in confusion. Serena was her name. It didn't belong to anyone else. But she didn't know Takao when he was human. She frowned and tried to remember when she'd met him. Nothing. How had she met him?

He takes a deep breath. "The Serena I knew..which is you..Died in a car crash. Her father was on his cell phone while driving..he crashed and killed her. Hence your fear of cell phones. My sister was devastated and so was I. About a year later I had a heart attack, I was in the hospital for weeks. they said I wasn't going to make it. I didn't and I died on the hospital bed. I woke up one day. Here in this house. You remember that day right. You were happy I was there. you were the only one that was happy I came to the house.."

(Ooh, backstory-ness!)

"No." Serena said, "No!" She walked away. Stupid Takao was making her head hurt, she didn't know how but he was. He was probably using his stupid mind tricks on her. This was all a big trick so that he could claim Ada and whoever might follow her into their home as his own. Well, she wasn't falling for it. She went downstairs to look for Ada.

"Stupid Takao." Serena muttered.

Takao sighed. She doesnt want to believe..she knows it is true. He disappears and re appears in front of her. Should he really be doing this. He rolls up the sleeve of his left arm revealing a tattoo on his left bicep. The Tattoo was the Japanese symbol for Serene. He begun to pull up the right sleeve revealing his right bicep. Another Tattoo. That one was the symbol for Moon. "My sister loved the moon. she talked about it all of the time. That's why I got this tattoo. The one on my left arm..the one that says Serene. It sounds like Serena. I got this one after I heard of your death. Whether you want to believe me or not Serena it is true. Everything I am saying is true. I don't care about finding the other girl anymore. Yes I'm hungry but I feel as though this needs to be done now. You needed to know the truth.

"I'm not talking to you." Serena said, "Stop talking to me. I'm busy." It all fit too perfectly into place, it was all too perfect. That was when Serena decided that he was definitely trying to trick her. There was no other reason for him to suddenly tell her all of this now. He planned this. That had to be it. It was all a trick. So, why was it hurting Serena so much? Literally, her head was aching like somebody had hit her.

"Stop it!" Serena said, "Stop hurting me!" She held her head in her hands, hoping that Takao would just go away and leave her there.

He doesn't hesitate anymore. he grabs her arm and pulls the sleeve up. there was a tattoo there as well. it was only a stick on one though. it was permanently there though after her death. " My sister put that tattoo there. I was there the day it happened. Im not trying to trick you anymore Serena. If there was anytime to listen to me then it would be now. I'm not trying to hurt you, I miss the friendship we had. Its the closest thing I have to a god dammed connection with life. You are my friend. you have been. Im not lying to you..you have to believe me.." He lets her arm go and begins to walk away. He was upset.

"I thought I knew you!" Serena yelled after him, "I thought we could be evil together. But you had to ruin everything! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!" She fell to her knees and clutched at her head. It was horrible, it was horrible. Memories kept poking at her, insisting to be let in. No, she didn't want to remember. She was happy here. She didn't want anything to change. She liked killing people. Didn't she?

"MAKE! IT! STOP!" Serena screamed. She started repeatedly banging her head against the floor, smacking her forehead against the floor. She didn't want to remember. She was happy here. She was happy here. She was... Happy here?

He reaches down and stops her banging her head. "Serena its ok! We aren't going anywhere, we are staying right here. I want to be here. I just wanted to have a better connection with you thats all. I'm sorry if I hurt you. We don't have to talk about this anymore." I know, Ada. "lets forget about this. We can go find Ada. Ill even let you get the kill." He hands her the scissors from killing Elodie. He is sorry for what he did. Takao just doesn't want to believe that he is dead. He wants a friend in this world.

"Promise we don't have to talk about it anymore?" Serena said. She took the scissors from him. They were crusted with the blood of her last victim and that made her a little happier. She stood up slowly, box in one hand and scissors in the other. She wanted to kill Ada. That kind of thing always made her feel better. Her headache was already beginning to subside.

He nods and his cheshire smile appears through the hood. "You know. you always seem to want to know whats underneath this hood of mine." He thought about it for a minute. He doesn't even know whats under his own hood. Would there be nothing? Would there be a face? He had no intentions of wanting to know anyway. At this point he wanted to make Serena happy.

"I've always been curious." Serena said, "But curiosity killed the cat. Or maybe I killed the cat." She smiled at the thought. She had killed a cat once, a white one; she'd found it wandering the halls and had stabbed it with a kitchen knife. She was pretty sure that the corpse still lay somewhere in the kitchen.

"I definitely killed the cat." Serena said, happily.
