Harper is known to be one of the most brutal underground fighters in the game.
Outside the world of boxing, wrestling and sumo where there are rules. Guidelines. Accountability. Underground fighting is its own game that is only available for the rich and connected to spectate. An underworld, without "Time outs" and "Online cancellations for going too far". In these games, the match doesn't end before the other person doesn't get back up from the ground.
Not much is known to the public about Harper. But rumours are:
Harper was picked up at 16 for brutally fighting in an alley, by her new sponsor Allen Macker, who quickly transformed her into one of his top fighters. She gained her name 'Reaper' in only her fifth match as a 16-year-old when she spun out of control during a fight and killed her opponent. After that she was feared in the space, and her matches were the most watched in the underground space.
Harper is not a public figure, more of a shadow in the underground, and therefore no one knows much about her personal life.

Hyzen entered the medical field to become a doctor, a choice that he made following the death of his sister Felicity Alanis at the hands of Harper Lionel in an underground fighting match. He just started his internship at the nearby hospital where he's in his first year. With piling medical student loans and rising debt from pre-med and medical school, he's forced to live in a single apartment in a bad part of town; an area running amuck with crime, including robbery, assault, battery, and drugs. All of which Hyzen tries to avoid.
Following his sister's death, he became estranged from his family. He dropped contact, potentially blaming his family for part of the reason his sister is dead. He knows saving other people won't bring his sister back, but it makes him feel better that he can at least save someone.
