Fantasy The Harpy Village

"I see one is willing to eat it, oh I forgot to say the only people who eat it will get good food" he said smirking. He watched the harpy start to eat but now they are hungry enough to even eat their own kind.

Ava did budge, but she looked away to rest her eyes on the human. Suddenly she spoke, "You are sick, and a coward." She crossed her arms over her thin stomach.

"I'm not a coward, I'm just trying to get my job done" he said smirking at her. He knew the harpies wouldn't be sold the next day so he was tempted to kill them now. "Maybe I should just kill you all now since no one will buy you runts, but if you do want to live eat the damn harpy." He took out his gun and pointed it towards all the harpies he wasn't afraid to pull the trigger against them.

"No you aren't." She said simply to him when he said he was just doing his job. She kept going, "Your job is to sell us. There is one more day to go, and by killing us, that is not selling us, which is your job."

Other harpies had begun grabbing parts of the dead one, tears running down their pale faces as they tried to force themselves to eat it.

He watched them eat the rest of the harpy and he smirked then he sectioned off the skinny harpy Ava. And he threw tons of fruit into the other harpies spot and he smirked. "Good harpies now you can actually eat this good stuff but you cannot give it to the other reject harpy or I will shoot you!" He said as he watched them.

Ava kept watching him, not wanting to look over at the others. She felt sick about the entire thing.

The other harpies dove on the fruit like hungry wolves, eating it all in a matter of minutes. Then they all went and laid down, feeling full.

While the harpies were unable to escape he opened the cage and grabbed on that was matching his own age. "I'll think I'll use you for my special uses." He said to the harpy as he locked the cage again and went home with the harpy.

Ava watched, disliking the human more by the second.

The other harpies watched in dismay as another was taken, but slowly the remaining 5 laid down and dozed off. Ava was still awake, willing for Justin, or some form of help to appear. Otherwise, she was about to welcome death.

The next day Justin woke up early and he went to the Black Market to see these 'harpies'. He went to it and saw multiple harpies pleading to be sold and then he saw Ava skinny as a pencil. He felt bad for her and he pointed at Ava "how much for that one?" The man was surprised to see someone want a skinny harpy and he walked over to Justin. "100 dollars" he said to me and Justin agreed and gave him the money the. He let a out of the cage and gave her alittle beating before handing her off to her new owner.

Ava had been dozing when Justin showed up. She was awoken at the sound of the cage opening and suddenly she was pulled out. She struggled and suddenly she was hit. She hissed, grinding her teeth together in pain. When she was finally released she sprinted at Justin, seeming to be limping or just have an uneven gait. she both jumped, and fell at Justin when she got close enough and wrapped her wings around him, pushing her tear-streaked face into his chest.

Ava was reltulent to let him go, and barely acknowledged the collar before crawling into the backseat and laid on her side. Her was in pain, to say at the least, but didn't complain about it.

After they arrived back at their home he said to her "That necklace I gave allows you to transform your wings into human arms." He smiled as explained it to her. He thought it may be useful for her at times.

"Why? How?" She asked, too hungry, weak, and tired to explain what she was asking. Getting out of the car was harder than getting in for her and she took longer than a normal person would have taken.

He helped her out of the car and brought her into the house trying to be nice. He put her down on the couch and handed her a bowl of different types of fruit. "You would need to focus on to transform into human arms you need to think about them then say transform." He said to her.

Having wings while laying on a couch wasn't very easy or comfortable, so she slowly looked up at him and asked, "Could I try now?"

"Ava your thinking about eating right now so you can't do it, just eat first then try..." He told her as he sat next to her trying not to touch she wings.

"Alright.." She said, and then brought the bowl closer to her face and grabbed a few grapes in her mouth. She hate everything fairly quickly with her mouth, and eventually felt better when the bowl became empty. She licked around her mouth where some juices had dripped.

She sat up better and shifted her wings slightly, and then looked at his arms. She imagined having her own, and then said, "Transform."

Immediately there was a tingling sensation along her wings, and suddenly the feathers were shrinking and going upwards into the biggest bone in her wings, where a human's arms would be. A few feathers fell out in the process and she winced when her wings transformed.

After a few very long moments, there wasn't a feather on her and she had normal, human arms. Surprisingly, her feet had changed too.

He smiled at her human arms and said "How do they feel?" He just touched them and they felt like real human arms because they are. He then sighed and leaned back "Hey Ava could you do me a favor?"

'They feel fine..." She glanced at each one in turn, slightly moving them this way and that. Without looking up she asked, "What is it?"

He sat back into the couch and sighed "I want you to treat me like a caged animal the same way I treated you for two full days. I want to start for a clean slate so you would forgive me on the deed that I done and I want you to get even back at the humans for doing this." He said to her.

"What? I-I can't do that... Can't we just start over? Without being caged?" She asked, eyed suddenly wide as she stared at him.

"It's to be fair for all the harpies that are not being tortured in their homes with theirs new owners. It's also an order so please can you do it..." He said to her. He didn't want to do it either but he had to no one else would stick up to the job and say that besides him.
