Untapped Potential
Hollipop submitted a new role play:

The Happiest Place on Earth - I'm rebooting this one--again.

(The original RP was created by the lovely @Lori Williams but it died so I had permission to try again! And then that one died, so I'm trying one last time because I adore this idea.)

May I reserve a guy playing Prince Charming and a guy playing Mickey Mouse?

Yes. We still have two more male slots to fill.
(Note: I combined the Triplets into one post, since they're currently in the same place. I think it's less confusing that way. Oh, and I'm sorry if it seems kind of sloppy and long! I'm currently distracted (CHRISTMAS!) but I really wanted to get a starter out!)

The Sterling Triplets

“Baby, I swear to god, if you don't take your feet off my dashboard right this minute we're going to have a problem!” Scarlet scolded the youngest triplet. Baby had her boots perched up on top of the glove box of Marco's beloved army green Jeep Wrangler with absolutely no intention of moving them.

“It's not your car,” Baby argued back, arching an eyebrow. Scarlet threw a look back at Marco who was finishing the last bit of a joint. He shrugged as if to say what do you want me to do about it?

“Well, I'm driving it,” Scarlet retorted. Baby rolled her eyes and looked back at the GPS on her cell phone.”We're 30 minutes away!” she cried, bursting into a huge smile. The argument between the female triplets was already forgotten. Sure, they fought like crazy but they could never stay angry at each other.

Scarlet was the oldest. She had popped out first, and had what professionals liked to call a “strong personality”. She was bold and aggressive, a giant flirt and a go-getter. Then, there was Marco, the middle child. He was calm and relaxed, with a love of cooking and weed. Baby was the surprise. Mrs. Sterling was supposed to be having twins, but it turned out there was another one in there. When she'd arrived, the doctor's put “Baby” as a name placeholder on the birth certificate, but it stuck. Baby was the spontaneous one. She was impulsive and out-of control, but knew how to have fun. That was the thing about the Sterling triplets. They all had such different personalities, but there was never a dull moment.

“About time,” Marco mumbled. He loved his truck but hated long car rides. They were from Appleby, Texas, a good 14 hour drive from Orlando. Scarlet had wanted to take a plane, but Marco wanted to have his car there. If only he was actually willing to do the drive!

They were 21 years old, which was the perfect age to be embarking on a mission such as this one. Baby had seen an ad while surfing the internet. It was emblazoned with “The Happiest Place to Work!” in bright red lettering. She had curiously clicked it and found out that Disneyworld was looking to hire characters. Baby was immediately taken and applied. Soon enough, Marco found out and decided as well. Scarlet, not wanting to be left behind and tired of her stuffy college, followed suit.

After an audition—the triplets spent an afternoon filming tapes to send to the hiring people—and several months of waiting for an answer, they were all accepted. Baby had been cast as Belle, Marco as Peter Pan, and Scarlet as Jasmine. The roles seemed fitting enough and it even better when they found out that they got to stay in a rent-free dorm in close proximity to the park. Apparently only the 12 best auditioners got to stay in the dorm, so it was kind of a big deal.

Baby saw the faint figure of Cinderella's castle in the distance and practically lost it. She bounced up and down in her seat. “Babes, GPS!” Scarlet commanded. She had a terrible sense of direction. There was a huge sign pointing to the Disneyworld parking lot, with a few little signs underneath it pointing in the direction of the hotels—for the guests—and the dorm building. Scarlet hung a tight right and they were faced with a cream and brown building surrounded by beautiful palm trees.

“Holy crap...” Marco muttered. Even he was impressed. Scarlet pulled into a parking spot and they immediately got their belonging out of the trunk. Disney offered a shipping service for those who were flying, but the triplets were luckily able to fit all of their stuff into the Jeep—barely. Marco had 2 suitcases, while Scarlet and Baby had 4 each. Thankfully they didn't have to pack their bulky costumes, or else they would have needed several more.

Baby slid her ever-present Wayfarers over her nose and lead the way up the path. She twisted the door knob, not sure of what to expect. It clicked open and she grinned. This place was too cute! It was a two-level building. When you walked in, you were faced with a spacious livjng area. The couches were black leather and the coffee table was adorned with maps of the park and a few Disney-related magazines and catalogs. There was a huge TV and 3 desks with computer on them. The triplets all had their own laptops, but it was a nice touch. Next to the living room with an open kitchen, which Marco was already exploring. The middle triplet loved to cook.

Scarlet discovered that the boys bedrooms were on the first floor, while the girls ones were upstairs. There were three of each, and she headed up the steps to find her room. Scarlet Sterling was emblazoned on the furthest door from the staircase, along with Valery Shivers. That was an interesting name. She twisted the door knob and was greeted with a sea of pastel patterns. It was definitely her style. She dropped her suitcases near one of the beds and headed back out. She'd unpack later.

Baby's room was next door. Her roommate was a girl named Evangeline Porter. She was immediately taken with the purple theme. It was her favorite color. There were bunk beds, as well, but Baby didn't mind. She courteously placed her luggage on the floor instead of on a bunk. She and Evangeline would decide who got which bed later on.

Marco's room was the closest to the living room. He would be bunking with Christopher Lukes. One of the beds was a loft, while the other was on the ground. He decided to take the loft bed, since he liked the striped sheets more than the plaid ones. He hoped Christopher wouldn't mind. Once he was finished, he grabbed his laptop and headed back into the spacious living room. Scarlet and Baby came downstairs shortly after, chattering away like girls did. Marco joined their conversation as they joined him on the couch he was perched on, scrolling through his Twitter feed in the process. He wondered when everybody else would arrive.

Doré

Thank god for rolling suitcases was all Doré could think as she pulled her two suitcases down the three steps to the ground from the bus, grunting slightly with the effort before setting them down and popping up the handle so that she could roll them in rather than hauling them herself. She paused to rummage through her purse, pulling out a map print out of the park and surrounding housing areas, looking it over to locate the dorm building she would be staying in. She was grateful for the free ride place to stay, but honestly picking up and moving was slightly disconcerting. She had been under the impression that she'd be staying in her own apartment while she was here - something she'd made a point to procure while she was auditioning, and which she'd been staying in the last seven months, maintaining it with a waitressing job she had quit the previous week after finding out about being cast. It wasn't much - a one bedroom, one bathroom plus kitchenette deal with no elevator to help her get to the sixth floor, where she stayed - but it had been home for a while and leaving it felt lonely, somehow, and unfinished, but maybe that was just because her lease wouldn't be up for another week and a half and she was already cleared out.

Still, she mused, theres something incredibly lonely about being able to pack all of ones belongings into two suitcases and a purse. She shrugged the thought off, taking hold of her bags handles and stepping off the curb, moving across the street, following the print out map until she found herself at the entrance to dorms. She looked up at the building - large, but not overly intimidating, despite it's newness to her, and surrounded by a fresh green lawn and a tasteful smattering of bushes and palm trees.

"Home sweet home, I guess," she murmured, stepping up to the door and letting herself in, pulling her bags behind her and taking in what was to be her new home. The living area was nice, certainly, it looked comfortable and classy, large enough for everyone in this wing provided they didn't all converge at once. The couches looked more than comfortable and it was lavish in comparison to her previous living space. Still, the stairs were a bit of a disappointment given the heaviness of her bags - a whole life stuffed into two suitcases might be a lonely sentiment, but it certainly meant that the suitcases were heavy - but she'd manage somehow. She decided to start on one first, and then come back for the other when she got to the top of the steps. She grabbed the lighter of the two and hauled it up, letting out a puff of exertion by the time she was at the top. She was sure most of the people here would have packed somewhat lighter - after all they probably had families they could leave things with, and didn't have to pack everything they owned to haul it with them - which was probably why the building was built without elevators.

Noting her name on the door closest, along side that of Luna Chapman, she moved across the hall, pulling her bag after her. She didn't take the time to check around the room as she walked in, but rather brought her bag in and brought it between the two beds, setting it up between them before dropping her purse on the bed with the black and white duvet, more because it was under the chalk calendar and the sign boards then a preference for the colour. That done she hurried back downstairs to grab her second (somewhat heavier) bag and started working on pulling it up the stairs.

LUNA CHAPMAN ~ Wendy

(Luna's Outfit)

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2013_12/57a8be8728f3c_SummerOutfit01.jpg.a3ab97b341ccb11a16f4efca2fd58ae6.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="10889" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2013_12/57a8be8728f3c_SummerOutfit01.jpg.a3ab97b341ccb11a16f4efca2fd58ae6.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Luna woke up when her alarm clock started ringing like crazy. She merely laughed and rolled out of bed. Today was the day! Luna ran into her bathroom, nearly tripping over. She brushed her teeth then hopped into the shower. After washing up she dried off and did her hair and makeup. She pulled on some calm clothes based around pastel colors and got her bags. She walked downstairs and ate her breakfast. Luna washed her dishes carefully trying not to get her clothes wet and when she was done she walked out to her car. She stuffed her luggage into the trunk and got in the drivers' seat. Luna started driving down the road towards her new job, a new life.

It took a long time, but she finally arrived at Disney World. She parked and got her bags out, then walked towards the dormitories. Luna opened up the doors with a bit of trouble, having a hard time holding it open while dragging her bags at the same time, but she eventually got in. She checked her paper to make sure that this was the right room and twisted the door knob, walking into her room, room #1. Apparently she was sharing the room with a girl named Doré Borste playing Rapunzel. Luna wasn't the social type and was actually quite shy. When she turned 14 she started having panic attacks due to anxiety and had to take therapy for quite a while. After that she tried to avoid too much social activity and stopped doing any wild things like roller coasters. Luna dropped her bags in front and on top of the black bed, and took a deep breath. She walked back outside and looked around, wondering if anyone was here already. He saw a small group with three people. They looked pretty similar so she guessed that they might be siblings. She walked up to one of the single arm chairs and sat down, then looked up. "Hi there. My name's Luna. Luna Chapman." She said quietly, but loud enough for them to hear.

Christopher groggily rolled out of bed when his alarm clock started to ring. He groaned and got up, walking into his bathroom. He showered and brushed his teeth, then did his hair. He then got his clothes on, just a basic white t-shirt that was a bit baggy but quite tight, and some shorts with flip-flops. He had his breakfast and just before going out he grabbed his sunglasses and got into his car with all his bags.

It was a 1 hour drive and he quickly got there. He parked his car, ready to fulfill his dreams of working at one of the Disney Parks. He hadn't even imagined that it would be Disney World, the original of them all! Christopher walked up to the dorm and walked in, looking around for his room. He was staying in room #3 with someone named Marco Sterling. He dropped his bags in front of the left bed. Christopher then walked out hoping to meet some new friends. He walked out to see a cute British girl introducing herself as Luna Chapman. He smiled and sat down on the chair opposite the girl. "Hey guys, nice to meet all of you." He said casually, leaning back in the chair.

Kai woke up to his annoying alarm clock ringing once again, but this time he didn't mind, it was finally the day! He had been looking forward to this very day for a long time. He walked into his bathroom and did all his morning routines, got his clothes on, then walked downstairs for breakfast. After eating he walked out with his bags and stuffed them in his trunk.

It was a pleasant drive and he soon arrived at Disney World. He fixed his snapback and got out of the car. he got his bags and walked into the dorm, then went up to his room. Apparently he was dorming with someone named Nicolas Reed. He dropped his bags and walked out to the living room to see 5 people sitting on the couches. Some of them were introducing themselves but he merely walked in and winked at one of the 3 girls (Scarlet @Hollipop). She was cute and he couldn't help it. It was just his flirty side taking over.

Trent

When he stepped onto the platform at Kissimmee station, Trent felt almost as if he was in the start of a stereotypical b-rate movie about a rising star - he couldn't help taking a deep breath and pausing a moment before getting off his train, taking in the world around him and the new life this place represented. Classic depiction of a wannabe actor right before they got splashed by a passing car driving through a puddle (if they were in New York and looking to get on Broadway) or had their bags stolen (if they were in LA looking to make it in Hollywood). Really, he was asking for it, and part of his plot-sensitive mind expected it, but this was Orlando, not New York or LA, and as such luck was on his side. He made it off the train and to the cab without incident, and no matter how travel-montage his ride was (complete with looking out windows literally the entire ride and pointing out Cinderella's castle to the very uninterested driver) he managed not to meet any sort of over-done TV-and/or-movie style mishap.

He got out of the cab and moved to the trunk, grabbing his duffel bag out (an over large affair about half his size, shockingly light for it's bulk) and moving up to the front to pay the cabbie. He grinned and waved him off (not that the driver seemed to notice, let alone care) before turning around and grinning wide at the building he'd be making his home in for the foreseeable future. Slinging his bag over his shoulder he walked up to the door and letting himself in, pausing for only half a beat as he saw the room thoroughly filled. His grin grew into a full blown smile as he moved into the room, looking at the people he'd be sharing his living space with from now on.

"Hey there," He greeted, extending his hand to the nearest person - a black haired girl in a hot pink shirt (@Hollipop ), "Nice to meetcha, I'm Trent."

Valery Shivers (Anna)

Valery could barely sit still on the plane. She just couldn't wrap her mind around the fact that she was finally leaving her hometown. For years, the red head had always been casted behind the shadow of her older siblings who became successful doctors, police men, or raised successful families. Valery was the youngest and always compared to her older siblings. Her parents had constantly wondered why she couldn't have been responsible, brilliant, or at least normal like her older siblings, but Val wasn't. The red-head was a weirdo in her family's eyes.

She didn’t want to be like her older siblings, she wanted to be herself. In some ways, one could think of Valery as a rebel teenager, but in her eyes, she was just being herself. She changed her hair color from her natural brown to a reddish-orange, but kept it to what seemed natural. She wore a different style than her responsible older siblings and stayed with the geekier look. She rarely wore any bottom besides jeans and normally wore only t-shirts. Valery would frequently daze off when someone was talking to her about important things, and usually ended up getting a long scolding afterwards.

But now Valery was on a plane to Orlando and about to take on a job that none of her family was able to have. Finally she was going to do something to impress her parents, and somewhere she could be herself without being compared to her older siblings. Finally she would be able to have the ability to be herself and do the thing that she loved the most, acting.

Valery had been accepted into a job at Disneyworld. Once noticing the wanting for characters in one of the most magical places in the world, she immediately started practicing for her audition. After a bit of time waiting to see her results, Val nearly fainted once finding out that she was accepted. The red-head presumed that she had played the part well not only because of her surprising talent for acting, but also because her personality greatly resembled the character she aimed for. Once she told her parents about being accepted, as well as the fact that only about twelve people would be accepted, for the first time in 19 years of her life, Val saw that her parents were proud of her.

And now Valery sat on the plane, nearly bouncing out of her seat in excitement. Her older siblings paid for her trip as a good-luck gift and her parents had bought her a new laptop and cell phone. After a surprisingly tearful goodbye with her parents at the airport, Val headed on the plane and aimed for Orlando.

The announcement of landing finally reached Valery’s waiting ears and she had to restrain herself from screaming in excitement. She would be landing in an airport not far from Disneyworld and would immediately head over to the dorms.

Valery soon drifted into daydreams of the future that awaited her. She thought of the amazing dorm room, the, hopefully, kind and fun people she would share the building with, and maybe even a romantic life. Val had always been a hopeless romantic and a sucker for cheesy romance. She had frequently dreamed of meeting her own prince charming, or even a knight in shining armor. But at the same time, she never wanted to be the person to be saved. The red-head knew how to take care of herself and even some self-defense for her own safety. She had a very spunky personality and could never just sit by and let others do things for her. Even her siblings paying for her ride to Orlando was a bit much for Valery, but at the same time she knew she could never save enough money in time, and most certainly couldn’t drive from her home-town in Canada all the way to Orlando.

The dropping feeling in Val’s stomach knocked her out of her daydream as the plane landed. In a matter of moments, the nineteen-year-old was out of the plane and heading over to her dorms. Her IPhone in hand with a map, Val was oblivious to the world around her as she wandered to her new home with only a book-bag on hanging off her shoulder and a suitcase rolling behind her in hand. Amazingly, Valery was able to reach the home in one piece and starred up at the spacious building.

“So, this is it,” she muttered to herself, self-consciously adjusting her grey beanie hanging off her head. She looked down at her average outfit of a
Doctor Who shirt of the TARDIS, her pocket-watch necklace she wore everywhere, skinny-jeans, and black converse. Val started to wish she had worn something fancier around such a lavishing paradise.

Pushing her feelings of self-conscious aside, Val took a deep breath and stepped her new home. She gaped at the stunning appearance of the dorm building. She sucked in the leather couches, brand-new computers, and the largeness of the room. After exploring in a stun-stricken daze for a bit, Val soon found herself standing outside of a room with her name printed on the door. Next to her name,
Scarlet Sterling was planted on the door as well. Looks like she had a roommate.

Valery headed in and noticed that a suitcase already lay next to one of the beds.

That must be Scarlet’s, she thought to herself, taking the opposite bed. After laying her bags next to the bed, Val took a few steps back and took a running jump to belly flop on her new bed. Her petite body sunk into the plush bedding and she grinned with enjoyment. Back in Canada, Valery had an old, worn twin bed with springs sticking out in places. She never had such a plush bed before in her life.

After taking a few minutes of taking out her books and laying them underneath her bed, Val slipped out of the room and headed downstairs, hopefully meeting some of the people she would be sharing the building with.

Marco Sterling

The first person to enter the house after the triplets was a girl with a stylish blonde pixie cut. She appeared to be deep in thought, as she walked right by the triplets like she hadn't noticed they were there. Scarlet probably thought that it was the rudest thing in the world, not being noticed, but Marco didn't mind. He'd be living with these people for a while, with plenty of time to get to know them. Besides, the girl was still probably adjusting to the fact that she had a brand new job and a brand new home ahead of her. Marco, of all people, could relate to that.

He felt his high from earlier wearing off, which was kind of a bummer to him. They weren't allowed any sort of drugs in the dorms, except for the prescription kind, of course. He could survive without it, but he'd definitely be making the drive off of campus to hotbox his car every once in a while. It calmed him down and took off the edge of being around people. Without it, he'd probably be like Scarlet on crack. He wondered if any of his other roomies enjoyed a good herbal refreshment every now and again. He hoped so. Back in Appleby, he had a whole group of smoking buddies.

Almost immediately after the short-haired girl made her way upstairs to presumably get moved in, another girl entered the house. She had long brown hair, but the ends were dipped in golden blonde. She was petite, and wore a shy smile directed at the triplets before making her way upstairs.

Scarlet Sterling

She couldn't help but be offended by the blonde with the pixie cut who had slipped into the house and upstairs without a word. It was just Scarlet's personality. Sure, she liked things to be about her, but she was a social butterfly. She frowned as another girl followed the blonde suit, stopping briefly to smile at the triplets shyly. Scarlet understood that it was nerve-wracking meeting new people, but she wanted to talk to somebody besides her siblings. After all, they'd all been in the car together for fourteen hours. If she didn't talk to somebody soon, she would explode, for sure.

The second girl came back downstairs and Scarlet got a better look at her. She had ombre hair, something that she had been considering doing for a long time. The triplets all shared the same thick, dark locks and bright blue eyes. Everybody always made a big deal about it, which made Scarlet want to stand out from the rest. She was born to shine, after all. The girl introduced herself as Luna Chapman, and Scarlet was delighted to detect a strong British accent from the girl. She adored Brits--they were just precious! Scarlet was spoke up first. "I'm Scarlet Sterling, and this is Marco," she gestured to her brother, "And that's Baby," she finished, jerking her thumb towards Baby, who was perched beside her. Marco offered one of those little "sup" nods with a small smile, while Baby grinned broadly. "It's nice to meet you," Scarlet added.

Scarlet watched as a guy walked in. He was extremely handsome, with those rugged good looks that could drive any woman wild--except for Baby with her weird taste in me. He walked into the third guys room, the one that Marco was in. He came back out and joined everybody shortly after. Marco piped up to say hello. "I'm Marco. I think we're roommates," he offered to the guy with a shrug and another small smile. The Sterlings all had good teeth, due to two years in braces back in junior high, but Marco never fully grinned. Scarlet didn't know why. Another guy came in next and threw a wink that was clearly meant for Scarlet before heading towards his bedroom. Now that was what she liked to see.

Baby Sterling

Baby watched as the boy winked at Scarlet. The older triplet was always being pursued by some guy who looked like he belonged on the cover of a romance novel. She wasn't jealous though. Scarlet needed the attention, and Baby was happy to let her have it. Besides, the younger sister attracted a fair share of guys and girls herself. The only difference was that Scar liked to make her life about finding a new conquest, while Baby was much more mellow about it. In a way, Marco and Baby were pretty similar.

She tugged down the hem of her bright pink blink-182 t-shirt, as it was riding up to expose a strip of belly skin. She loved Luna's hair. It was sleek and soft-looking, a far cry from Baby's mess of dark waves. She'd have to ask this girl for some tips. Whenever Baby asked Scarlet for beauty advice, it turned into one of those "You Should Know This Stuff" lectures. She smiled at her sister who was still reveling in the attention of the winking boy. Baby liked to see her sister happy, but she knew that the moment somebody else was paid attention Scarlet would be kind of bummed out.

Another guy walked in, which made eight people so far. He wore a broad, contagious smile and had an excited gleam in his eye. He turned to Baby and introduced himself as Trent. "It's nice to meet you, Trent," she grinned back warmly, feeling her Texan accent slip through a bit. Marco's was the moat prominent, followed by her's. "I'm Baby." She expected the normal response to her name. The story behind it was kind of cool. She used to hate it, especially with all the Dirty Dancing jokes--Nobody puts Baby in a corner!--but it suited her.

A redhead in a Doctor Who shirt entered the room, making it nine people so far. She looked happy to be here as well. Baby watched as the girl walked upstairs and came back down a few minutes later. Baby smiled at her and threw her a little wave before turning back to Trent, whom she had just introduced herself to.

LUNA CHAPMAN

Luna took a deep breath. It was the most open she'd been to anybody in her life. She got up and smiled uneasily. "It was so nice to meet you. See you some time soon!" She said, then quickly walked out, walking into her room. She got her bag and clumsily opened it, then got out her pills. They were for when she was having a panic attack. Even the tiniest one, the doctor told her to eat the pill. Just one did the trick. She looked around for water and gulped down her pill. Luna breathed in and out and felt better. She hated her anxiety problems but the problem was, she never faced them.

CHRISTOPHER LUKES

Christopher smiled. "Yeah, apparently we are." He said, holding out his hand. "Christopher Lukes, but you can call me Chris." He said, smiling.

KAI BENSON

Kai sat down near the triplets and overheard the names of them. Baby, Marco, and his interest, Scarlet Sterling. He examined her and tried to break out what her personality was like. She was definitely a confident, bold person, but there was more to her than you could see.

Evangeline was bored as she listened to music through her, her long black hair fell down her shoulders as her chocolate brown eyes looked out the window of the airplane while her foot tapped the floor impatiently. It took another hour on the plane before Evangeline was finally on ground and calling for a taxi, the moment one of them pulled over she was quick to grab the handle bar of the door and get in before any of the other people trying to call a taxi could get in.

Eva told the man her destination as she continued to remind herself that she had her luggage in the trunk, if she didn't remind herself she might as well say bye bye to all her things. Once getting to the house she would be staying at because of her new job, Eva wondered if she would get along with anyone here or if she would be considered the 'loner'. Biting her bottom lip she got out of the taxi when it stopped in front of the place she would be living in at the moment.

Taking her suitcase out of the taxi, the driver didn't waste any time screeching away from her but Eva didn't move from the spot in front of the buildings; for a moment she contemplated on just leaving and walking straight back to the airport and she knew for sure that she's walked way farther then the distance from there to here seeing as how she tends to play a lot of sports. With a groan she walked over to the door and slowly opening the front door, her eyes quickly took in more people and she tensed up a bit but with a smile she tried not to seem a bit nervous.

"Hi, I'm Evangeline," She introduced herself to anyone who would answer, hopefully there wouldn't be any awkward situation filled with silence because she spoke... maybe she should've just kept her mouth shut.

Valery Shivers (Anna)

Valery smiled at the group of people around her. The thought of sharing so many days with these people amazed her. Probably in a matter of weeks they all would become best friends, or possibly worst enemies.

“I’m Valery,” she smile, “But you all can just call me Val, if you want.”

She smiled slightly shyly, not used to all the people around. It was different from her old life; the only time she was ever around people was at school. And now she was surrounded by people that she had no idea who was who.

Nicolas Reed

Nick walked calmly towards the dorms. He was sipping a coffee and was in no rush to get anywhere. He arrived at the dorms early... like a whole day early. Lucky for him the Disney team took his bags and put them in the dorms he was supposed to be staying at; however, unluckily he couldn't stay at said dorms until the following day. So with it now being the next day, he calmly made his way back to his designated dorms ready to meet the eleven other lucky people he'd be staying with.

As he arrived at the dorms, Nick looked up at the building and smiled softly. Taking one more sip of his drink, he nodded once to himself and walked inside. He noticed all the people standing around and shook his head with a grin. Now it looked like he was the late one, just his luck. With a sigh he moved past everyone to first check on his room (to make sure his bags really did make it and also claim his top bunk!), put his messenger bag away (which was the only bag he held onto for the night), and then he would mingle. As he made his way past the living area he noticed a stairway... More importantly he noticed a girl struggling with her bag up said stairway. Looks like his mingling would start early.

"You need any help, Blondie?" Nick moved towards the girl and offered her a charming smile. He moved closer, knelt down to put his coffee on the floor and then offered her a hand. "I can lift that for you if you'd like...?"

Doré

Doré paused as the newest member of their group approached her. She heaved her bag up the fourth step and held the handle firmly to keep the precariously set suitcase from toppling down the short distance she'd managed to drag it up. That done, she turned her attention to the new comer, one fine eyebrow arching as she looked him over taking in the slightly tousled brown hair and accompanying scruff accompanied by that all too familiar smile worn by men who were handsome and (unfortunately) aware of it. It was the sort of disarming smile that carried a charm she would have been completely swept off her feet by only two years previous... and one she had grown considerably more wary of since the first time she'd given into such easy handsomeness and charisma.

Normally her response would have been a dismissive but not overly curt 'I can handle it, but thanks' but right now her arms were tired. She'd already lugged her first bag - the lighter by far, given that it held her clothes (shoes included) and nothing more - and she wasn't looking forward to working this heavy monstrosity the rest of the way up, especially considering that it housed everything else she owned and was by far heavier than the first. And so, with a sigh that was half relenting against some internal warning system and half pure relief at not having to manage her luggage, she extended the handle towards him.

"...yeah, actually, that'd be great," she admitted with a tired rise at the corners of her lips that hinted at a smile without actually offering one up. She wasn't much in the way of offering strangers smiles any more, but it was conventional politeness and she hadn't been raised to be rude. "Thanks."

Trent

"Baby," Trent repeated, his smile slipping wider so that it resembled more of a grin then anything else. "That's gotta be a nick name or your parents have some interesting taste in names - either way I'm sure there's a fun story behind it." When the girl - Baby, as he now knew - didn't take his extended hand he drew it back, slipping it into his pocket with a comfortable ease that suggest he felt no awkwardness over what others might see as a snub. He opened his mouth to make ask what exactly that story was when a whole cacophony of events came about - one girl taking off at a brisk walk up the stairs, two new arrivals making their entrance (one with an act of chivalry and the other with an introduction), and one previously placed tenant introducing herself.

He nodded to the girls - one neatly tanned and the other sporting a head of auburn hair - and offered them a wave. "Hey," he greeted, the grin that had formed during his short conversation with Baby still set over his features. "Nice to meet you both, I'm Trent, this is Baby, and these are..." he paused, looking around the room, "I don't know, actually. Is it time for the name game, guys?"

Scarlet Sterling

Scarlet carefully watched as the last two people entered the house. The black-haired girl and the confident looking boy made twelve, which meant that the house was now filled to the brim. She wondered which one was her roommate. Scarlet only got along with certain girls, and she hoped that for all of their sakes that they all got along. Scarlet could admittedly be a bit catty when she wanted to. It wasn't intentional, of course, but she liked being the alpha-female. It was part of the whole "strong personality" thing.

She couldn't help but smile as the newest addition helped the pixie-blonde with her luggage. Did he not have any of his own? Scarlet didn't think about it too much. She respected chivalrous acts like that. She wanted to find a man to treat her like the princess she was. Scarlet Sterling didn't settle for anything but an A-Plus man.

Marco Sterling

Marco frowned as Luna Chapman made a great escape back upstairs. It was nerve-wracking meeting new people, but he had a feeling there was more to the brunette than what met the eye. He just hoped she was alright. Marco shook those thoughts away. He hated how soft he was when he wasn't high. He didn't like caring about people.

He watched as Baby chatted with a boy--Trent, was it? Marco was much more protective of the younger sister than the older one. Scarlet could take care of herself. She was strong-willed, and had a good head on her shoulders, even though she could be b*tchy sometimes. Baby, on the other hand, was impulsive and a bit too naive.

Baby Sterling

Baby laughed at Trent's inquisitive reaction. She liked that he wasn't pushing for the story, but he was genuinely curious about it. She had gotten enough rude reactions to her given name to last herself a lifetime. She was about to reply, but then he suggested a name game. Baby burst into a grin. "I'm down!" she replied. "Shall we wait for the others to come down?" She was excited to learn all about the people she'd be living with for the next year or so.

(I'm really sorry, guys, I have mega writer's block tonight!)

Evangeline bit her bottom lip as she waited for the introductions of the others that the guy named Trent had motioned toward. She felt a bit happy that someone had at least taken notice that she was there so she kept her mouth shut. For a moment she wondered how everyone was going to get along and if this would last for long, hopefully there wasn't any drama because that was something Evangeline wanted nothing to do with. Running a hand through her hair she took a rubber band from her wrist and pulled her long black hair into a ponytail that lay on her shoulder, it was always in her way and it was either chop it all off or just put it into a ponytail.

This was actually the first time Evangeline would be living in a place with strangers and she wasn't to comfortable about it but it was worth it since she wanted to get away from home as well as the new location. In truth, Eva had never been to Disney World and she was hoping that working here would be a good experience because she was always a fan of Pocahontas so she was a bit excited.

Nick's smile proved lasting, even as she hesitated and offered a sad excuse for a smile in return. Whatever, he wasn't greedy... per-say. He'd take that pathetic excuse for a smile over nothing any day. Now with that done, he nodded once then stepped up after her to take a hold of the bag. Poor girl was so small she probably had no hope in reaching the top of these stairs with this bag. His hand brushed against hers as he took control of the situation. Wiggling his eye brows in a teasing manner, he then hoisted the suitcase up with one arm.

Holy hot pockets this suitcase must have weighed a bazillion pounds. His face altered for a second and his free arm swung around to help cradle the heavy bag. "Alright," he had to fight back a gasp of exasperation, "lead the way, Blondie." Nick flashed his cocky grin -or as much as he could muster of one- and started to stomp up the stairs. He really needed to work out when all of this was over, geez!

Doré

Catching the - rather ridiculous - eyebrow waggling, Doré rolled her eyes in response and stepped around the brunette who had taken temporary charge of her bag, moving up the stairs, her left hand trailing lightly along the rail more out of habit then any need to steady herself or hold on. As she passed him she turned to glance back.

"I'm the first room at the top, and my name is Doré, not 'Blondie'," she said, her tone curt - which, for her, was fairly friendly since she tended to be clipped or downright icy. He was helping her after all, so he didn't deserve to be snapped at, but she didn't appreciate the unimaginative nickname that he seemed to have attached to her already. Maybe she'd be able to nip that in the bud by giving him a name to work with - she didn't think she'd much care for hearing it during the entirety of her career here, especially if they were going to be living in such close quarters.

Reaching the top of the top of the stairs she paused and turned around to face him, both checking that he didn't drop her bag (or send himself and it crashing down the stairs, it was rather a pain to balance, after all) and to wait for him to make it up.

Trent

"Probably," Trent conceded with a shrug, moving across to one of the couches and letting himself fall back onto it. "Wanna sit and wait with me?" he offered, patting the place beside him. "We might as well make ourselves comfortable."

No point in standing around while everyone got themselves settled - he had a feeling everyone would make it down into the common area soon enough on their own. After all, they were all here because they were hired to work for Disney and that meant that they had to be sociable on some level, most likely very much so. The job was high contact when it came to dealing with people - anyone who didn't like being sociable probably wasn't cut out to be here and wouldn't have gotten hired. So it just made sense that they'd all congregate on their own if they were given a bit of time.

He turned his attention back to Baby, he tilted his head to the side with a playful sort of inquisitiveness gleaming in his eyes, "So, who'd you get cast as? I know who we have but I didn't exactly memorise the list of whose who."

(@Hollipop , also anyone else who wants to jump in on this)

Baby Sterling

Baby heard the pixie-like blonde snap at the guy who was helping her with her bag and she bit back a smile. The girl, albeit kind of shy, seemed to have sass, which was something Baby looked for in a friend. She liked it went people would hold their own. Besides. the whole "Blondie" thing was kind of lame. It would annoy Baby too, if she were a blonde. Luckily she was a brunette, and nobody had ever called her "brownie"--though it sounded rather cute now that she thought about it. She plopped back down on the couch next to Trent. Everybody seemed really nice so far! Baby was a bit concerned about Luna, but she was probably just a tad bit overwhelmed. After all, this was a very overwhelming experience. Luna would be just fine. She turned back towards Trent to answer his question. "I was cast as Belle," she beamed proudly. She didn't have a drop of acting experience, so you could imagine her shock when she got a phone call telling her she was cast as a major character. "Ever since I was a little kid, she's always been my favorite," she added. It was true. Belle was ambitious and smart. She had wonderful values and was nice to everybody, even if they were mean to her. Baby looked up to her in a way. She had the whole "nice to everybody" part down, but she wished she was a little more practical sometimes. She often found her head very much in the clouds.

"....Gesundheit... " Taking the stairs one step at a time, that was all Nick could muster to say. Perhaps after he was done carrying this monster of a bag, he'd say something about her name... What ever it was. He exhaled sharply and tried to move up the stairs in a way that didn't look like he was struggling, but of course that was harder said than done. As he moved upward he leaned to far back and almost took a tumble straight back down. "Whoa..." He pushed himself forward, steadied himself, and then stepped up again. That was close!

Finally reaching the top of the stairs, he peeked over the top of the bag and glanced to the floor. Without any more hesitation, he plopped that bag down and pulled up the pulling handle once more. He moved beside the back, bent over, and held onto his knees. A little dramatic but, he was now out of breath. "What do you have in that bag?!" Nick wiped his brow for no reason really then pulled the bag into the first room. At least he could remember the room number since her name was too wired to pronounce!

Doré

"..." Gesundheit? The comment - the whole exchange really - was too similar to the movie she was cast as a character from to ignore. After all, a solid week of training for any Disney role was dedicated solely to watching the movie over and over again until it was so ingrained in the actor that it was hard not to respond with the right line after you were set up for it. And so the combination of the nickname (which seemed like it might not be unimaginative, but downright stolen) and the response to her name had her pausing and focusing more intently on his face. It… was rather similar, and with the right make-up… The caster's picked a near perfect look alike, she was almost surprised that she hadn't figured it out the moment she first saw him - they even got the nose right.

Well. That was just peachy. It seemed she'd be working closely with Mr. Waggle Brows. Joy.

"You're cast as Flynn, aren't you?" She asked to confirm her suspicions, crossing her arms over her chest and following him into the room. "You can just leave that here, I can handle it," she added, slipping past him and towards her bed, only to pause when she noted that there was already an inhabitant. A brunette, whose long hair was dyed blonde at the tips (how she was going to fit all that hair under a wig Doré had no idea) was hastily popping a pill. She tried to think back to the names on the door to remember what her roommates name was, but she couldn't for the life of her recall it.

"...hey," she greeted after a moments pause.

(@Misunderstood Hero , @Lori Williams )

LUNA CHAPMAN

Luna turned around when she heard a girl talk to her. She nearly dropped her container of pills on the floor. "Oh hi." She said quietly. "I'm Luna." She put her pills inside her bag and smiLed. "We must be roommates?" She asked straightening out her hair.

(@Renn Skye sorry I know it's really short!)

CHRISTOPHER LUKES

Christopher sat back in his chair looking aroud. Everybody seemed to have someone to talk to. He sighed and took out his phone, looking through his facebook home.

KAI BENSON

Kai went up to his room and laid down for a nap. He would have loved to go for a swim, but he just needed a rest right now.

(↖(^o^)↗ i guess that's it)
