The Happiest Place on Earth [Inactive]

Nicolas Reed

Grunting out his last bit of exhaustion, Nick ran a hand through his messy brown hair and retorted with a halfhearted smirk. "I am indeed." He glanced back to Blondie at the door and crossed his arms over his chest. No thank you? Well then. Just as he was about to take his leave, he heard the exchange between both girls. He blinked and raised a brow. Apparently after lugging up Blondie's bag, he'd not noticed the inhabitant of this room. His face grew more serious as he saw the girl nearly drop what was in her hands and at that moment he realized he couldn't leave the room just yet.

"Hey... are you alright?" He knew he was interrupting some 'roommate-bonding-time', but he couldn't help but speak up. This girl looked a little, well, freaked out. He put a gentle smile smile on, and gripped onto the strap of his bag, which was pulled over his chest in a satchel-ish way. "You need some water or something...? I'm sure we can get some down stairs, yanno?"

Doré

"Doré," she returned in kind, dipping her head in a shallow nod of greeting. She was about to confirm the roommates question too when whats-his-face (seriously, what was his name? She couldn't just refer to him as 'Guy Playing Flynn' or 'Stupid Charming Smile Man') cut in. Nosy, much? Maybe he had some sort of hero complex and that's why he'd butted in with her bag - not that she was complaining, she'd gotten up here much faster with his help. Seriously, though, Luna was probably just settling in - it was a big change for everyone moving here, after all, and whatever she was taking... well, it wasn't their business. Shrugging it off, she grabbed her bag and rolled it over to the bed she had chosen, grabbed her purse up again, and moved past the both of them.

"I'm going downstairs," she said, "See you down there... or not, I guess. Thanks for carrying my bag." With that she turned and headed out the door, moving down the stairwell, finding herself an unoccupied seat, and settling herself into it.

LUNA CHAPMAN

Luna managed a slight smile. "Yeah, I guess a nice cup of water wouldn't hurt." She said. People weren't always this kind and she was thankful that the people she'd met so far were. "So, you wanna head downstairs?" She asked in response. "Oh and before we do, I don't think I caught your name?" She asked, smiling softly.

Hearing Blondie speak, Nick waved a hand in acknowledgment to her words with a resounding 'Yeah...' to follow. As Blondie left, Nick turned all his attention to... what was it again? Right, Luna. His smile grew sweeter as she agreed to the water and made the decision to move down stairs. He stepped backwards through the door to make room for Luna. "Ladies first..." He motioned with his hand outward.

"Oh, have I not introduced myself? I'm Nick." His flirtatious grin was back as he started moving downstairs with Luna. "I'm pretty excited to meet everyone else, though."

Luna smiled. "Me too." She said then walked out, heading downstairs.

(I am sooo sorry for the short reply I'm kinda busy ♥)

Trent

"Belle?" Trent repeated, looking more closely at Baby and picturing her with the wig on (after all it was basic protocol that all characters had wigs - how else did you get the hair exactly right? They came as part of the costume sets) and in the dress. She certainly fit the required height profile.

"You'll be great at her, I'm sure. There's nothing better then being a character everyone loves - I'm cast as Bert, from Mary Poppins, so I'll be doing the Disney Music Magic show more than park stuff... I'm kinda jealous that you get to, actually. Bert's only a park character at Disneyland, so I don't really get to go around Disneyworld as much."

He shrugged, settling further back into his seat and crossing his left leg over his right at the ankle as he got comfortable. Hearing voices coming from the stairwell he looked up, spotting a long haired girl and... he paused, frowning, trying to place the male's face. He could swear he'd seen him somewhere before. Still, he couldn't quite put a name to the face, and eventually wrote it off as one of those faces. He probably just reminded him of a Disney character - after all, even out of costume some people just bore a resemblance to who they were cast as. Shrugging it off, his smile found it's way back to his features as he waved to the pair.

"Hey! Come join us, we were just gonna start introductions!"

The Sterling Triplets

Baby's stomach twisted and turned as Trent appraised her. What if he thought she wasn't a fitting Belle? She was a bit on the short side, but they didn't seem to have a problem with it when they casted her. She settled down when he assured her that she'd be great as the character.

"Bert?" Jack raised an eyebrow, trying to picture it. Trent would be a phenomenal portrayal of the Mary Poppins character! She found it odd that he was only a park character at the California park, bu glad that he could still stay in the house regardless. She had a feeling they would grow to be good friends. Baby loved making friends.

Speaking of new friends, the last two roommates began to make their way down the stairs for introductions. This ought to be fun. Scarlett sat up a little straighter when she saw the guy, of course, even though the one that winked at her earlier was right next to her. The girl was never quite satisfied with just one male's attention. She needed the eye of everybody in the room on her, at all times. Marco, on the other hand, was lounging in his seat and making himself at home. He looked on the verge of falling asleep and clearly needed some activity before he dropped dead.

Scarlett waited until the remaining two people sat down before smoothing down her tight black pants and beginning to speak. Taking charge was her forte, being the oldest and all. "Okay, so I guess we can just go around and say a bit about ourselves," she said. After waiting for any sign of protest, she decided to take it upon herself to go first. "Well, I'm Scarlett Sterling," she paused and flashed a smile, "I'm from Appleby, TX, which only has about 500 people living here. Actually, 497, now. Anyway, I'm playing Jasmine." Scarlett wondered what else to add. Perhaps an interesting fact about herself? There were so many, if you asked her. "I can put lipstick on with my cleavage, like Molly Ringwald in The Breakfast Club." She had learned the trick the summer before eighth grade and was extremely proud of herself to this day.

Marco rolled his eyes at Scarlett's "interesting fact", remembering how when she first learned the trick she would do it everywhere--the breakfast table, the pool, waiting for her coffee at Starbucks. He let her have her fun, though. "I guess I'll go next," he decided, sitting up from his slouched position. "I'm Marco and I'm also from Appleby, Texas. I'm playing Peter Pan...and I love to cook. So expect many four-course family dinners," he flashed that Sterling grin at everybody in the room.

Baby figured she should get her introduction out of the way. "I'm Baby Sterling and, of course, I'm also from Appleby." she smiled openly. "I'm playing Belle, and I sing." She immediately begin kicking herself after that. Sure, she had a good singing voice, but probably half of the people in this room did as well. She decided not over-think it. "Who's next?" she asked. It was funny how none of the Sterlings mentioned being triplets--though it was probably quite obvious to everybody else in the room.

(Mentioned: Everybody)

Trent

"I'll go, I guess," Trent said with a shrug, straightening up a bit in seat to look around the room. "I'm Trent Harrison, and I'm from Great Barrington, Massachusetts. I've been cast as Bert and..." he paused, trying to figure out what a good interesting fact for him would be. "I've actually been working with Disney since I was sixteen. I started off as a Dapper Dan, and I just finished working on one of their cruise lines as Prince Eric. I can't wait to work with you guys." He grinned, relaxing back again now that his bit was over, looking around to see who else would be speaking up for their little introductions round.

(wow that was super short. I'm terribly sorry for that.

Plopping down into an empty seat, Nick looked over all the faces of the people around him. He was trying to figure out if he recognized any of them, and for the most part, he didn't. However, there was this one guy that looked so familiar it was freaky. Who was that again? Over and over his train of thought was crushed as everyone started to introduce themselves. It was hard paying attention to them but also trying to remember this freaking guy's name. Then the guy in question introduced himself. Nick grinned.

"Harry Harrison." Nick started with a smug smile. He wasn't the next one in this circle of names, but he couldn't hold silent any longer. However, realizing that he was talking, he quickly cleared his throat and waved softly. "I'll get to that later, I guess.... I'm Nicolas Reed, but you can call me Nick. I'm playing Flynn Rider and I'm from Minden, Nevada..." He paused to think of something interesting. Dang it. "Uh... I've worked for Disney for the past couple of years in Disneyland at the Haunted Mansion."

He leaned back farther into his seat and smiled as he finished. His random outburst was a little embarrassing but, he'd have time to fix that up later.

Doré

Well, then. Nick. At least she had a name now, though he seemed like a total weirdo - not only was he obnoxiously flirty, but he seemed to have a habit of giving really lame nicknames. Blondie, and now Harry? He didn't even look like a Harry. She rolled her eyes at his general introduction, arms crossed over her chest with a unamused expression over her features. Well, if Flynn had gone, it only made sense that she offered herself up next.

"I'm Doré Borste, but I guess I go by 'Goldie' generally," she started, an uncertain note in her tone brought out more from not knowing what to say about herself then any form of nerves - it was a nickname her grandmother had given her, and she felt more attached to it then her actual given name. More attached to it then to Blondie, too, even if they were similar. "I'm from New York, and I'm playing Rapunzel." She hesitated, unsure what else to add about herself. She didn't really have that many interesting factoids, truth be told - growing up in a house with your grandmother and being home schooled didn't really lead to anything particularly exciting happening, especially not that others might care to hear. And it wasn't like she had any fascinating hobbies or the like. "...I read, I guess? I... don't really have anything else to add."

Trent

Harry? Where have I heard that before? His attention locked on the other guy, Trent squinted slightly as he tried to fully connect. Of course, then came the full introduction. Nick... Nick... oh yeah! It'd been a while, but now that he had a name and the ride he worked he totally knew who this guy was. Actually, it was rather hard to forget him to be perfectly honest. It had been a few years and Nick had clearly grown (and grown well, the Puberty Gods had done him good), but now that he knew it was him it was almost impossible not to recognise him. He nodded in Nick's direction with a grin, bright and happy at the idea of having a friend here with him. He would've greeted him in full but the blonde girl - Dorey or something, playing Rapunzel - was speaking and he wasn't going to be rude by talking over her. Still, he offered half a wave and made a mental note to catch up once this was over. Nick. Whodda thunk.

Scarlett Sterling

She bit her red-glossed lip as she listened to everybody's introductions. So far, two of the people already had experience in working for Disney Parks--and they knew each other. Who was she, a girl from the middle of nowhere with acting experience as Tree #4 in Appleby High School's The Sound of Music, compared to somebody who had actually worked for the company before. A feeling of inadequacy washed over her, but thankfully her face didn;t show it. She may not have been an actress, but she was an expert at hiding her emotions. You could read Baby like an open book, and Marco would tell you anything about himself if you just asked, but if people knew the real Scarlett they would run in the other direction.

Her exterior was sexy, confident, and tough-as-nails. Nobody could get to her, or make her question herself or her beliefs. She was strong and unshakable, and always got what she wanted. Well, that was the part people saw anyway. What they didn't see was how secretly insecure she was. Back in high school, she refused to go to school unless not a hair on her head was out of place. She'd haul up in her room for an hour each night, picking out the perfect outfit for the next day. If Marco and Baby were good, Scarlett always had to be better. That was just how her personality was. She was competitive and had been her whole life.

She distracted the thoughts in her head by focusing on the blonde with the pixie cut who was now introducing herself in a monotonous voice. Scarlett listened as she said she was cast as Rapunzel. It was funny to her that the girl with the shortest hair in the room was playing the princess with notoriously long hair, but that's what wigs were for. Disney princesses always had perfect hair that couldn't be achieved naturally. Even Scarlett would have to wear a wig over her long, dark locks, because they weren't long and dark enough. She accidentally burst out laughing when her mind wandered to Marco wearing a bright orange wig and kelly green tights. Now that would be something to see.
