The thing that every single living creature has felt once in their existence.
Monsters.
The things that cause us to experience fear.
This world is much darker than what the childhood stories told us how it was. Even in the brightest light casted by the sun, the shadows of cataclysmic evil cannot be lit up as they slither towards us. Whether it is an enraged lover stabbing out your heart with a knife or a sudden flash of a lightning bolt on your skull, everything you know will one day cease to exist. Even our universe, the vast amount of space where life other than our blue planet exists in, has a limited life span. We often see death through horror stories. The books and movies that force us to see what could happen to us ne day.
But the thing is, horror stories are constantly told through the eyes of the soon to be victims and survivors. We only see one side of the story this way. But what if things were flipped around. As in the story being told not through the victim's eyes, but rather the monsters doing the deeds others see as evil. It just so happens, my dear reader, than you'll have the chance of being not the victim, but rather the monsters that sink fear into our hearts.
Welcome to the Horror Manor.
? THE H0RR0R MAN0R ?
The Horror Manor is quite the simple place in terms of details. Being nothing more than an abandoned manor from years ago, several monsters saw it as a safe haven from the police who sniffed around for them. The outside is anything but homey in appearance. Large cracks, broken windows that have been sealed up with wooden planks tattooed with false gang symbols, and dead landscaping give the manor and empty, lifeless feeling.
Inside, however, if far more up kept and cared for. Although the old styled wood structures of the manor prevent it from being perfect inside, its quite welcoming. The home's old age can be felt when inside and the only "modern touches" in it are some light bulbs and in door plumbing. However faults inside the home are present: several leaks, little light, no AC, several broken windows, and the occasional rat and bug.

There are two rooms that are off limits to those who are not an owner: The Master Bedroom and the Basement. Go in either room without permission and you're a dead man...
As for those living in the home, people tend to come and go. The current manor "owners" are the silent ghost Spirit and the macabre Black Maiden who could careless about who arrives or leaves so long as no one damages the house or gives away its location.
? THE RULES 0F H0RR0R MAN0R ?
There are several rules to the manor. All must follow them for the sake of those living in the manor.
- One must not lead any law enforcers near the manor. If chased, hide in the large forest surrounding the manor.
- One must not speak of the manor to normal humans. They are our prey, not friends. If you lead them to it, you must kill them before they can speak of it to others.
- If you kill in the manor, clean it up.
- Damage of the manor will result with damaged to your body.
- Do NOT enter the basement or master bed room.
- THREAD RULES-
- A minimum of one full paragraph per post. Text talk (Unless a character is actually texting someone) is forbidden as well as one liners. Write with the best of your abilities.
- "Canon" creepypastas and OCs are allowed. How ever if you have six OCs, please for the sake of all that is somewhat decent in this world take at least one canon pasta. Also I know many people tend to have their OCs be related to canon pastas such as being Jeff's girlfriend/boyfriend, but for the sake of things, please do not start off being more than friends with a canon pasta. This way the person who is playing that canon pasta will not have to figure out how the two got together and can roll their own way in the RP.
- If you're going to use a photo reference for characters, please make sure they are either illustrated, pixels, or anime.
- Until a canon pasta is taken, they are a NPC that anyone can use.
- Since this is more of a jump-in RP, you can come and go as you please. However, if you're a canon pasta like Jeff or Slender, PLEASE tell me when you're leaving the RP so I can mark them down as available for others to roleplay as. If you ditch the RP for two weeks without telling me and you have taken the role of a canon pasta, I'll automatically mark the character open and you'll be banned from playing a canon pasta.
- Blood, gore, guts, and more (ha that rhymes) will be present. If sex occurs, TIME SKIP it. Please do not auto kill others people's characters without the owner's permission to do so. Remember, if a character dies (OC or canon) they are dead until something occurs and causes them to come back as a ghost/zombie/etc.
- Although there will not be a posting order, please try to prevent this from becoming a 1x1 by waiting until two other people post before you post again!
- Character skellys are not needed, thus do not post them here. You are allowed to chat in the OOC tab, but the Character Sign-up tab will be used for requesting canon character roles. The IC tab will be used for post only.
