At this point I feel Eiru's character should probably be focused more on her role as an enchanter over a tactician or mediator. Azalea already tends to delegate responsibility based on who has the most relevant experience, so there's not really much need for a chief advisor. Eiru can certainly still take on political missions, but in the Lantana kingdom her influence would probably be limited to the house of the arcane, who are responsible for overseeing magic research and education. They would definitely know who she is and what work she's done, to the point of actively trying to recruit her into the main family.

I apologise if it seems like I'm going back on my initial approval at this point. I prefer to see how characters play out before imposing limits, and I brought it up now as there's no way Azalea would be willing to hand over guild files to a non-administrative character. She keeps a pretty tight hold on the information since so many in the guild come from such precarious situations. Eiru's still welcome to reasoned observations of course, and can request information from the players themselves, but like with Vol maybe coordinate it outside the main RP.

Please let me know if this seems unjust or limiting. I see Eiru as having a lot of potential as an enchantress with her magic scribing. She can always offer advice without needing to be chief-advisor, it's just up the other characters as to whether they'll take it.
 
No that's perfectly fine, and how I intended to work Eiru anyway. I always ask outside the rp when it comes to discerning information unless it's obvious information. The undead thing was something I assumed most spirit mages would know as a result of its nature. But aside from that even if she did have the papers i would have been asking in private. But im glad you brought it up nonetheless. As for going back on something agreed upon I don't see anything agreed upon being cut back on. We agreed Eiru wouldn't have an official role and that it was out of her character to even agree to take on a role. We only discussed future possibilities so don't worry about that. I sent you a dm asking to further discuss the ins and outs of my charter lore wise so we can avoid this happening again in the future and have some clarity

Sorry to interrupt here, but is this RP still open for new characters? I've been looking to get back into RP because I took a hiatus a few years ago.
