Dyne

Nicknames:
The Lady, Law Bringer, Lady of Theatre

Godhood:
Civilisation and Agriculture

Goals:
Dyne loves stories. Myths, legends, the byproduct of epic feats performed by select members of a civilisation worthy of eternal crytalisation. She maintain a resemblance of order in the world to see more of stories.

Personality:
Charming. With a smile permanently etched on her face, Dinara finds it easy to slide into others conversation. She fully enjoys being the centre of attraction, to be adored in a gathering. Often her playful nature lures people into coaxing her for their own fun, and she gets along with them just fine. She may be silly on the outside, but her carefree attitude doesn't mean she has a shallow mind. After all, what can be more fun that the freedom one possesses?

Everyone has their vices, and desire is one of hers. She has no sense of frugality and often lavish herself in her whims. Her desire only fuels her ambition in her action, often pushing her to the border between firm determination and mere stubborness.

Bio:
One day, she existed. A goddess born from nothingness came into being just so. She was all-powerful. All-knowing. The power makes her excited, but it gradually became boring.

No effort in reaching her goal. No struggle in realising something. It was awful. She fell to a period of boredom, until her eyes fell on the mortals.

They struggled. They fought. They died in misery without knowing how large the universe could be. Her eyes shone. Her mind thought of a play. A game. A way to pass eternity. Through the countless journey of heroes and demon kings, through the journey of wise sages trying to reach eternity, she shall be the director of every epic story on te mortal realm! But she needed her own actor, suited to her needs.

Powers:
  • Strands of Knowledge: Dyne is able to communicate with mortals through numerous means. A moment of genius. An epiphany. This bestowed knowledge can also come in the form of prophetic dreams or a prophecy, or as a voice from the sky or a resounding echo in one's heart.

Name: Yves (pronounced eves)

Nicknames: Spellweaver

Godhood: Goddess of Magic & Energy, creator of the Fae (and accidental future mother of twin minor gods Urth and Thos. Urth resides over data, invention, and order, while Thos resides over chaos, destruction, and change.)

Appearance:
60888898-fantasy-fashion-model-inside-colorful-clouds-water-paint-spreading-underwater-fantastic-shapes-in-de.jpg

Prefers to never take a fully corporeal shape, often appears in many shifting colors.

Goals: Bless all living things with the ability to tap into some amount of the gods' powers- or at least her own. She believes that this will improve the longevity of whatever is created, while also establishing the importance of the gods' presence to those who might rise from what they have created. Yves is looking far into the future and seeing potential timelines where those that the gods have created lose interest or belief in the gods. She truly believes that by establishing magic and energy-based technology, as well as the presence of magickal races, she might be able to help maintain the tie between the gods and their creation. She also believes that the tie between both types of being is necessary to maintain balance.

Personality: Deeply emotional, highly sentimental, overly protective of that which she values. She is wise, discerning, and careful with her deal and decision making. Non-aggressive to the point of avoiding conflict altogether; instead preferring peaceful resolutions.

Bio: She is secretly interested in discovering ways to intensify and strengthen the already impossible power of the gods- and of magic itself. She is in the midst of creating her first offspring; Urthos, a minor god of data and invention.

Powers:
Near-omniscience: She can see all potential futures, and can see all of the past and present. While she can see all angles of that which is and which has come to pass, she does not for the futures, as they are still mutable. This often leads to half-baked ideas of what will actually come to pass.
Magic of all sorts: As the creator of magic and the first to harness the very energy that makes up the universe, she is the perfect sorceror capable of harnessing any sort of magic.
Shapeshifting: She typically only shifts back and forth between a pure energy form, a form in the shape of colorful smoke, or as a woman with multicolored hair and eyes, glowing hair and skin. She can also shift to look like a mortal fae of any variety- the occasion for this are far and few between.

Name: Shaldressyr

Nicknames: The Mother of monsters, The AllMother, Life Weaver

Godhood: Life, Fertility and growth

victor-adame-art-illustration-01-atraxa-praetors-voice.jpg

Goals: Spread life in any form.

Personality: A motherly figure, Shaldressyr welcomes and loves all life, and is angered when something hinders or destroys it without much reason. A hypocrite to her very nature, she wants all to live but at the same time wants all to be fed and thrive. She sees death as a necessary part of life, one thing dies so another can live, and the remains of what had died will help another thrive. When something is simply taken and doesnt get a chance to come back to the earth is when she is angered. She adores any new creations made by fellow gods and is seldom ever disgusted or disinterested and would like to learn all she can about them. Although that being said she detests undead and anything relating to undeath as it stops the cycle of death and rebirth. Worship of Shaldressyr will be granted with rewards, such as a plentiful harvest or increased fertility to the individual or the community. However these gifts are not always what is expected, the plentiful harvest might be something other than crops, and the increase fertility might not be entirely what is expected one simply has to pray hard enough and exact enough to get what is wanted.

Bio: Shaldressyr can be viewed as annoying as she creates her creatures with reckless abandon and might prove a problem or an annoyance for their other creations. At the same time she can be viewed as lovely, as she would grant their creations with great fertility as she adores all life. She also loves to meddle in the affairs of mortals, usually appearing as their race and helping them in some way, giving artifacts or advice.

Powers: Shapeshift: (self explanatory)
Creation of life: (self explanatory)
Manifestations: She can manifest and manipulate life, such as to help in fertility or increase the growth rate of plants and animals.
Mutations: She can cause mortals to mutate either for the best or for the worst.
Omnipresence: as she is the god of life she can see through any living creature's eyes, giving her a presence like no other.

Name: Kiru Rapture
Aliases: The Cabby, Mr. Reaper, Voidface
Gender: Male
Species: God
Age: ??? Ageless
Appearance:
VA8KfhVpdFLfe_irP2cVVMv_6gpii7RpOOSHRASHfsxdhLtdq96z6XeR7jIM-nW0aj-v75lfS43nHUw9aQjQqb1yaXDnQTFzo8aJa_BMLoizxOF3CJqAMYqEqdXg7QcTap39HESR

Role: God of Death and Transportation
Personality: Stoic, steadfast and a lil arrogant, Kiru makes a very stern god of death, allowing no exit from his realm if you’ve lost your life. Despite his steadfastness, Kiru is not unreasonable and is usually willing to talk things out. With his status as the God of transportation, Kiru likes to get to where he’s going quickly and can be dismissed as impatient due to this, but it's just him getting annoyed with all the obtuse inefficient paths mortals and other gods want to use. An admirer of discipline and Willpower, Kiru often follows the lives of mortals who are truly determined to make a monumental change, however, he will never help them except maybe to offer advice or a tip for a situation because he feels anything more would be defeating the purpose. However, when Kiru gives life advice you better listen, because whatever he says will have a significant effect on your life, whether you listen to him or not. In the end, Kiru is a helpful god, not necessarily good or bad, but one who will get you on your path and help you to its destination.
Goals: To get everyone where they’re going.
Alignment: True Neutral

Powers: Control over the dead in its most Fantasy sense, Portal travel, Shapeshifting, power over vehicles, Some control over life but only in ways dealing directly with death. Can create beings of undeath and Limbo as well but is hesitant to do so. Even among Gods Kiru is especially difficult to kill, being the God of Death he's the only one with any sense of the before and after for mortals, gods and existence.

Bio: Kiru, being the God of Death and Transportation, is a very, VERY busy deity. The act of organizing all the workings that allow the circle of life to work properly and all the paths and destinations of sentient life as we know it, is a very strenuous one. Of course as he was designed and born for his job he's pretty good at it so he doesn't mind too much. Kiru is best when treated as a guide or a teacher of sorts, his counsel is always indispensable and a sign of favor in some ways. When he first realized his role in existence, Kiru despaired for an instant at his job for eternity; However, this faded an instant later as the rest of his personality and abilities manifested, he is utterly steadfast in his role and understands its importance very clearly.

Name: Evesti

Nicknames: The Inspirer, The Muse, The Seamstress.

Godhood: Obsession, Focus, Arachnids.

584642

Goals: Evesti's goal is for all of creation, both the gods and the mortals, to become entirely focused on their obsessions. She dreams of a future where mortals are forced to stagnate through their own unrivaled ambition only to have it thwarted by another who desires the opposite. In this perpetual cycle of focused obsession and failure, she is the sole victor and is fed power beyond any of the other gods. Be they older than she or younger.

Personality: Evesti does precious little to tie her with her own domain. While she controls obsession and focus, she does not embody these traits. At least not openly. She is ambitious and seeks to become something beyond a younger goddess. Likely born of her youth compared to the rest of the architects of design, she constantly seeks approval or praise from the other gods and goddesses even if they represent virtues that she hates. This has lead her to be agreeable in most regards with her toning down her influence over mortal domains in exchange for the praise and rewards of gods who exist beyond them.

Bio: Evesti is regarded as a young goddess. Like many gods that represent an aspect of self, she could not exist without the formation of others before her. She is the direct result of the collective obsessions of the gods that came before her and was allowed to take form by the focus she observed from others. While the others remained enthralled by their domains she was allowed to slowly collect the influence she needed to become a true goddess. Her power rivals that of many of the old gods but even still she yearns for more.
During the story of creation it is said that Evesti's loom, from which she threads the silk of inspiration, was shattered to send her best parts to existence. From the loom's many ethereal pieces came all of her creatures. The smaller shards fell through the skies passing through storms and rainbows to create many coloured arachnids that litter the world and form beautiful works of art with their. It is said these creations are made to draw the attention of their creator in the hopes she may one day collect the thread and them with it so they may return to her.

Boons and Curses: Evesti is an active and involved goddess even at the warning of other gods and goddesses. While she may be told to remain hands off from her creation she will always find a way to work herself back into the tapestry of creation to thread her perfect image. For those who do not accept her blessings she is more than eager to present them with curses. The most common of these curses is a disorder that forces people to obsessively perform mundane actions multiple times a day. Still feeding into her existence. Other curses associated with Evesti is the loss of dominant senses such as sight or hearing, and redirected obsessions towards harmful means. Her dominant and more common blessings include enlightenment, unbreakable focus, and achievement of the near impossible to inspire others.

Powers:
Obsessive Calling: Those who remain truly obsessed and entirely devoted to a single cause indirectly submit themselves to the will of Evesti. These people may attempt to break free from their life long service but in doing so experience 'the calling' which overrides their free will and forces them to continue serving their goal. When someone is subject to the obsessive calling their production decreases drastically but they become incredibly interested in convincing others to share in their interest, continuing the cycle and feeding her.
Manifest Obsession: While Evesti cannot shape shift she can change how others perceive her. With this she will often appear to an individual as the object of the truest desire and use this 'trust' to commune with them and direct them personally as opposed to allowing fate or chance to take its course.
Focus: Through channeling the domain of focus, Evesti can dedicate her entire being or the entirety of another willing being into a single purpose. Focus can and will be used to help gods or mortals focus on a set task until they either perish or complete it.
Prayerless gratitude: The power of prayer is core to gods. Evesti on the other hand has no need for prayer. Being the manifestation of the older gods' obsessions and focus, she shares on the underlying continuation of those domains regardless of the alignment of the generator. This means that the most devoted and focused followers of another god would still provide power to Evesti, albeit less power than would be bestowed upon the god receiving the prayer.

Name: Zythis

Nicknames: The Beast King

Godhood: God of the Wilds

Appearance:
584628

Goals: Zythis is the zealous protector of the Wilds, and would like nothing more than to see any threats to his wilderness removed.

Personality: Zythis cares for little outside of his domain, the exception being civilizations. He views them as the destroyers of wilderness, and thus need to be stopped. He has a particular loathing for the creation of Dyne. Being the goddess of civilization, she is a polar opposite to the god of the wilds.

The gods of the various aspects of nature he respects greatly, for he is a part of them as well as the other way around. Their people, though not welcomed, are more likely to not attract his ire directly.

Powers:
  • Shape-shifting: Self explanatory.
  • Beast Tongue: Much like Sana'a, Zythis is capable of communicating with the creatures that call the various wildernesses home.
  • Call of the Wilds: Zythis abducts all who hear the Call so they may join the Wild Woods, a place made using seeds from the World Tree and home to any creature that catches the god's fancy.

Name: Sana'a

Nicknames: The Life-keeper, Death-Thief, World Mender, Weeping One, The Broken.

Godhood: Although her power is faded, she is the elder goddess of life, healing, adaptation, survival, and compassion. During her time she has become the patron goddess of animal-humanoid friendships and of the hunted.

Appearance:

53593664a10b80907e29111f9937824c.jpg
9360d93f526af2915665b92b371f5079.jpg
8489ac6a91ff265a794c68dd9fd235f2.jpg
Sana'a has a youthful, wild appearance with thick, reddish faded hair that changes colour with the seasons and her surroundings. Her attire consists almost exclusively of a wonderous ragged cloak that seems to be made from a thicket of black, tangled thorns tipped with violet flowers, each trailing a black flaky pollen. When the thorns are touched, they become a clear, bright violet like shards of crystals. the land itself. Unlike the more subtle change of her hair, this living cloak perfectly reflects the surrounding vegetation, ranging from mossy undercover (picture) to dry desert grass. While this cloak is enough to envelop her, she also wears shorts and a sleeveless shirt beneath it. Her skin is covered in old scars and beneath her cloak hides festering wounds that are reopened by the thorns when she moves. The vines seem to be growing into them, rather than out.

Goals: To heal the world's wounds (left by disaster, war, etc), and to ensure that life is ever resilient to adversity. She also hopes to inspire compassion and generosity within mortals To avoid hurting the world around her, even if it means isolating herself from everything.

Personality: Reflecting the lighter side of life, Sana'a is a gentle and kind goddess who is always willing to help her fellow gods or simply just chat. While Shaldressyr creates and Kiru Rapture takes, Sana'a busies herself with the role of caretaker. When a new creature or plant is made Sana'a carefully ensures that it finds a place in this world and that it has an environment that can support it... or can eventually adapt to it. Every living creature is like a friend to her, and she loves nothing more than to surround herself with the gods' creations. It is not uncommon to see her wandering around with a group of beasts trailing her, or even clinging onto her.

Sana'a is an old goddess who is haunted by the events of her past, twisting them in her mind like a knife. Sana'a avoids her fellow gods when she can and seems to become unstable when talking to them, either breaking down into tears or trying to flee in terror. Above all things she fears the suffering of others, and refuses to let her failures claim any more lives.

Bio: In the beginning, there were two goddesses of life, Shaldressyr, All-mother of birth, fertility and monsters, and Sana'a, the Death-Thief whose domain was that of healing and adaptation. One was the beginning, and one was a guide to help mortals evade the grasp of Death. When the moon was cursed by the goddess Morois, Sana'a healed it back to health with the aid of her sister. Over the first centuries of the world's existence, she meddled into the affairs of mortals, saving countless lives wherever she set foot. In the pressense of the goddess, nothing could die, and eventually she unknowingly created an island where Death could not find. Sana'a did not see wrong in her death-stealing ways, nor perhaps should she have, but this changed during the war of the gods.

The seeds of doubt were stirred by the Cinderking, who sought to free the world from the would-be-tyrant Vez'arai. He warned Sana'a to stay out of the godly war, which she agreed to, but in realizing the innocents he wished to slaughter, she broke her word. With the aid of Xue, she rushed to the protection of the Vez'sinai, which only further enraged the warped mind of Khades, who Sana'a realized was suffering from the Everspark's dark power. She begged the Cinderking to spare the lives of the Vez'sinai, and to stop this war, but just as she was getting through to him the interference of Detz changed everything.

While she had already doubted the good of her ways, through the harsh words of Detz, Sana'a was convinced that she was overstepping her bounds as a goddess and had caused centuries of harm. What began as seedlings of guilt soon bloomed, and the goddess's domain cracked and grew weak with it. Torn between her desire to help others, and the knowledge that she would harm them, she desperately tried to suppress her power, but only succeeding in severely wounding both mortals and her fellow gods. Horrified by what she was doing, Sana'a fled to her safe haven only to find it withered and dead.

In the years that followed she has been hiding in the husk of her island, consumed by grief and guilt. She has distanced herself from life and other gods, fearing the harm she would do to them. Her mind and memories twist like nightmares as she and her domain grows weak.

Powers:
Shapeshift: Like all the other gods, Sana'a can shape-shift. This almost always an animal. There is no favourite form of hers, as she cannot choose a creature she likes more than another.
(inactive)Healing: Sana'a can heal any and all wounds or sickness. Lost limbs are regrown anew. The only thing she can't cure is a broken mind, spirit, or heart... but she can supply a loyal creature to befriend. Which is basically the same thing in her books.
All-speech: can communicate with beasts and humanoids flawlessly. This goes beyond the limit of words, into something much more deeper. It is as if every intent is projected. Because of this, Sana'a is able to befriend beasts within moments of meeting them and can calm down a raging creature with little more than her approach. Humanoids do not fear her approach.
Inherited powers:
  • Creation of life: (self explanatory)
  • (inactive)Manifestations: She can manifest and manipulate life, such as to help in fertility or increase the growth rate of plants and animals.
  • (inactive) Mutations: She can cause mortals to mutate either for the best or for the worst.
  • (inactive) Omnipresence: as she is the god of life she can share the senses of any living creature, giving her a presence like no other.
  • Empathy: Sana'a can sense the fear or suffering of another, be it body or mind, and can feel echos of distant traumas.
(inactive)Avatar of life: her mere presence exudes life-giving energy. Where her feet fall the land will flourish, springing up new and bountiful plant. Disease and wounds wither away, and creatures feel stronger after having briefly brushed past her.

Name: Pandora

Nicknames: The Knowledge Keeper, The Faceless God, The Fate Weaver, The Primeval

Godhood: Knowledge, Memories

Appearance:
39F3DADD-B54D-49EB-87A2-E8B0CFEA2610.jpeg
Goals: Gather, record, and harbor all the knowledge in the universe for gods and mortals alike to access, as long as they can find the Divine Library (something only mortals will have a problem with)

Personality: Soft-spoken, stoic, and unemotional. Despite this, he is exTREMELY curious. Sometimes, he will venture out into the mortal realm just to see what they are like and what they may have discovered. The unpredictability of mortals is the only thing that excites the all-knowing god. Even in his excitement, it’ll come as a quiet awe, a deep wonder. Pandora also has extreme OCD. He tolerates it in the mortal realm to a certain extent but his library has been organized perfectly in every account to perfection.

Bio: Pandora is the oldest of the gods (hence The Primeval) but he didn’t do much during that time other than think about the nature of his own existence. He created the Divine Library once the mortal world was created by the other gods. Tip: the only thing Pandora can’t seem to fathom is how he came into existence

Pandora, in his quest for knowledge, sought to understand what the perfect being would look like. And so, in his efforts to reach that end, created Evelyn, the minor goddess of good fortune. From a perspective of symmetry and ratios, she was as perfect as a person could be. Fearing the danger such beauty would attract, Pandora locked her deep within the Divine Library for eternity. He gave her a device capable of creating entire worlds within to keep her occupied. He called this device Pandora’s Box. Her bedroom:

Evelyn, herself:
BAC71067-CF66-4EFF-B35A-71CDB64389BD.jpeg

At the very bottom of the library, there is a winding staircase that leads downwards. There is no light, there is no map of the library that will tell you that this place exists. It leads to a straight hallway where no mortal can cross without assistance from Pandora or another god. Crossing it alone will just magically cause the mortal walk right back up the stairs, all with the illusion that he was walking straight to the end of the hallway the entire time. But suppose a mortal or god did manage to reach the end of the hallway, they would reach an opening, a circular room with a dome. There, they meet Lady Terror and The Executionor:

F8D78856-ED85-43EB-A3A4-EF203028C0A5.jpeg

One step forward, and you forfeit your right to life. These two will attack the intruder without mercy and with lethal force, god or mortal, unless Pandora commands them to stop or the intruder is dead. Defeat them, however, and you reach two large silver doors. With the key, held only by Pandora, you may unlock and enter the room:
72B8DF2A-B828-493B-98C6-4892E4F20658.jpeg

I’ll cover the rest of Divine Library here. This is basically how it works. Every 100 years, the library changes location. It sits between the mortal realm and the realm of the gods, wherever that is. In other words, the gods can reach it at any time, but for mortals, it’ll be hidden somewhere different at every century. Here’s the catch, the library itself behaves in accordance to the mortal calendar to change location at the turn of their century. Something like that only matters to mortals because for the gods it doesn’t matter where it is and when. The entrance normally appears to mortals as a mystical golden gate. In order to summon it, the mortal must be accompanied by a Sprite.

Sprites are basically Pandora’s helpers. They come in different shapes and sizes depending on where the library is located in that century to avoid standing out too much. But they’re harmless and look something like this
829F4E2A-6695-4F4D-9F91-AB8637F3E8AD.jpegDED36374-70B2-4BE2-ADF2-0916DFBC1315.jpeg

The tell for Sprites is that on their forehead, they have the emblem of the Divine Library.
80FE473C-41B9-4516-800B-43C15D7AE7D7.jpeg

“But Mr. Pandora, what happens if some cruel mortal kills a Sprite?”
They are gifted with the knowledge of the gods. They receive the emblem of the Divine Library and are then given all the knowledge stored in the library. They are driven crazy by the nightmarish, blinding array of unfathomable concepts and then they commit suicide soon after. As a result, seeing a Sprite is generally considered a good omen, but killing one is as bad an omen as an omen gets. The symbol is also engraved in the same place that the entrance to the library lies in the mortal realm. That’s how a mortal knows he’s at the right place and if he’s had a Sprite guide him, it can summon the gates for him if he so wishes to enter. It is all voluntary. Normally, you find the entrance because it’s so well hidden, unless you find a Sprite and ask it to be your guide. Sprites do not talk and normally venture out to collect materials for Pandora to use or experiment with.

What does the library look like?

Entrance (from both the mortal realm and when gods enter):
8C98F515-09EA-469B-8912-D96B46AF3652.jpeg

Observatory (where Pandora can view any event at any time at any place):
C3701D9B-0527-4B7D-ADAC-EC7C2C01B42B.jpeg

The Center of the Library (where all knowledge is kept):
C4785B25-D1EE-4C81-A69E-F54AE30FD16E.jpeg

Pandora’s Quarters (his personal workspace (the desk is at the end of the hallway)):
65149522-52EC-4224-9631-7035DEA71CDE.jpeg

Powers: Access to all knowledge and infinite memory, he’s not a combat god but he does have access to anything and everything to do with combat. (He’s not someone to pick a fight with. His primary goal is to protect his library so the fastest way to pick a fight with him is to attempt to destroy the library. He couldn’t care less about what happens outside of it so he stays very far away from other conflicts that don’t directly involve him.) Long tangent, sorry. Other powers include the ability to see someone’s fate. (He gained the title of Fate Weaver not because he can change someone’s fate, but because seeing the fate of a mortal’s individual life gives the illusion that he can). SOMETHING IMPORTANT: Pandora is the god of knowledge and memories. As such he knows all things past and present. He does not know what the future holds outside of his Fate-seeing ability. He can PREDICT what might happen based on what he knows but he can’t say with certainty. Those are the limits of his knowledge. Past, Present, but not the Future. Moving on. He can control the Library (obviously). And because he has access to all knowledge, he can generally do anything the other gods can do but not as well (in terms of magic. This does not pertain to god specific abilities. For example, he can create fire, but not as well as the god of fire can, etc.). He’s a jack of all trades, master of none, when it comes to magic. That just about does it for Pandora. I can’t wait to get started!

Name
Tamati

Nicknames
Long Tail, Hunt Mother

Godhood
Goddess of the Hunt, Exploration, and Curiosity

Appearance
fxngvxvcv.jpg

Goals
The thrill, the pursuit, the ceaseless struggle for survival that consumes the mind of both prey and predator… the Hunt Mother, Tamati, seeks to find the Faultless Hunter and in doing so perish by their hands. A deadly fate, by her own design, to sate her curiosity. Thus, she shapes the fate of her creation in hopes that one day creation will shape her fate. Watch the world through mortal eyes, create the Faultless Hunter, and perish knowing what being prey truly feels like.

Personality
The embodiment of her Godhood, Tamati is an endlessly curious and easily excitable deity that’s irresistibly attracted to the unknown. Yet, not to find answers, for once her curiosity is sated, interest is lost. While this trait makes her knowledgeable on topics, she shows annoyance when asked questions regarding said topics and responds with the demeanor of a condescending teenager. A custom born from jealousy towards those who are curious about topics she knows all the answers to.

Yet, her curiosity’s one true focal point is one she can never understand; mortality. Because of this, she is the Goddess of the Hunt. The act of hunting is synonymous with mortality and the ceaseless struggle for survival that consumes the mind of both prey and predator... This is what Tamati, the Hunt Mother, seeks to grasp above all else; the thrill of the hunt. But, without mortality, she never will feel life-or-death situations like her creations do.

Bio
-

Powers
Shapeshift – Wild Hunt: Tamati limits herself by exclusively shift into pure predators out of principal, whether the predators are existing within creation, or of her own design depends on whether she’s feeling creative at any given moment.

Goals: To guide the world, and his own creations into achieving a world of prosperity, love, and enlightenment; in which all were treated fairly, and live without fear of harm from one another. Additionally, to treat mortals fairly and as his equals.

Personality: The Serpent is defined by his idealism. He believes in, and strides for a world in which mortals are unlimited in their accomplishments. He believes that the only difference between the Gods and mortals is age, knowledge, and power, and eventually, mortals could ascend to Godhood on their own. He cares deeply for each and every one of his creations, and is possibly the most hands-on of any God, spending most of his time among his creations, guiding, teaching, and advising them. He believes in efficiency, and does not believe that the Gods should punish their creations, but instead help and heal them. As such, he designs his creations in the idea of perfection, people who can do little wrong.

It is in his idealism and his creations that he has problems with many other gods. He understands that they can do things however they wish, but he views many of the others as cruel, inefficient, and some even as evil. Vez'Arai does not enjoy conflict, but may view it as needed to protect mortals. In the end, creation is an opportunity to provide for the created, and the idea of worship, or using mortals for amusement disgusts him.

He loves to learn, and he loves to teach.

Bio: The Great Serpent is big. Will add more here probably.

Relations:

Powers:
Shapeshifting: The Serpent takes many forms, as can all other Gods.
Phasing: The Serpent can take an Ethereal form, effectively "No-clipping" through reality, allowing him to be physically amongst his creations without knocking everything down.
Telepathy: He can communicate with any being from any distance through minds.
Laser Breath: The Serpent can breath beams of pure energy, which he uses both to create and destroy.
All-Sight: The great, blue eyes of the Serpent can see all.
Size: Being really fucking big.
Mental Altering: A power that only works on Mortals, the Great Serpent can alter the minds of mortals, one at a a time. His creations are already mentally stable, and nigh incapable of wrong-doing, but incase other gods interfere, or other mortals want the Serpent's gift, the Serpent is able to. The "Serpent's Gift" is the altering of a mortal mind to ease negative emotions, heal mental illnesses and damages, and to grant the mortal the ability to feel the emotions of all others with the Gift, and even those without, to a more limited degree. A reciever of the gift is given empathy, simply put. There is more to it of course, but that's the gist.

Name: Kanon

Nicknames: The Lady of Boundary, the Lady with Thousands Eyes, the All-encompassing Gate, the Dichromatic Butterfly, the Divine Storyteller.

Godhood: Boundary, Storytelling, Butterfly

Appearance:
585696

Goals: To be entertained. More specifically, Kanon only wished to see which deity creates the best world with the best mortal storyline.

Personality: As someone with the authority over stories, Kanon mainly sees this universe as one large yet empty storyboard. She craved to create the best of stories, and is more than willing to manipulate those around her. Fortunately, she is mostly just mischievous rather than outright malicious. Kanon also prefer being an observer rather than directly involved in conflicts, except if said conflict directly threaten her realm or the entire reality as she knows it. While being with other deities, Kanon usually shows her cheerful and slightly airhead persona. She also enjoys chatting and collecting information for the sake of her satisfaction. And when she's just hanging around with some other gods, one can expect a lot of alcoholic beverage such as beer or sake would be involved, and she is really good at staying sober. For her enemies, however, Kanon is a merciless goddess who is more than willing to annihilate them at a mere glance.

Bio: It was several moment after the reality as we all know it was created. Gods were born, concepts were forming, and physics has begun to take shape. However, as reality slowly took it current form, something else was created. For every light there is, darkness lurks nearby. For every good, there is evil. Past clashed with present and present marched on toward future. And between all that exists, between everything that moves in straight or curved road, between the stars that scattered in the sky, or even between the mountain and sea, there is boundary. It defines everything, as everything possesses an opposite. Everything that exist, cannot be unless something else opposes it.

Within this boundary, a certain “fetus” of a deity was created. By who, nobody knows. But it was there, lying dormant in the very beginning of the universe. And then, as universe got filled by more and more stuffs, the “fetus” took form into a goddess. And it slowly matures, gaining even more power as it lays there, sleeping without a single care toward the reality around it, until finally, through sheer coincidence, the goddess was awaken.

When she first came out of her “womb” in the boundary itself, the goddess was an existence most terrifying. Her presence was of both a woman most beautiful and a monster most hideous. Her eyes portrayed an image of knowledge and ignorance at the same time. Her entire existence was defined by the duality she carried. She is the boundary. She is the gate. She is existence and existence is her.

She is the goddess who assumed the name Kanon, the “black-white”.

Kanon grew up close to every other gods out there. Having grown listening to the tales of mortals and heroes in each of the deities' worlds, Kanon become curious and decided to create her own world. She cautiously observed the world and record every occurrence within that world, occasionally interfered if she found it necessary or entertaining. It was through this observation, Kanon developed an artifact that allows her to record every stories in the universe and altering it to a certain degree. Through this, the Lady of Boundary also become known as the Divine Storyteller.

Powers:

-Boundary Manipulation – the all-encompassing ability, this power allows Kanon to alter reality by manipulating the boundary which separate a concept from its opposite. For example, she can make a virtuous man commit the gravest of sins by manipulating the boundary of good and evil within said person, or she could also make light turn around by manipulating the boundary of straight and curve of that light. This ability cannot create a new boundary or removing an existing boundary, as doing so means changing the very fundamental of reality and could even annihilate the entire existence. Being technically the very boundary itself, Kanon have instantaneous and infinite access to this power. And while she can still affect other deities, she cannot remove their ‘Godhood' as it is something that is beyond conceptual existence.

-Narrative Manipulation – another ability Kanon developed, this ability lets her alter the ongoing story of someone or something. This alteration have to adhere to the existing law of universe, and cannot take form instantaneously. While it might be similar to Fate Manipulation at first glance, Narrative Manipulation is much more limited in which the written narration must contain a story-like structure, such as having a protagonist, antagonist, plot, climax, etc. However, the ‘character' in Kanon's story has no way of knowing if their fate has been altered. Furthermore, Kanon may also alter their past to suit the story to her liking. She is also unable to involve other deities in her story as they are more of a spectator to the ongoing story than the characters themselves.

-Other basic deity abilities such as shapeshifting, world creation, etc.

Name: Quan'Cath

Nicknames: Quan , the timeless, the all seeing, the hourglass

Godhood: Time dimensions/ reality

Appearance: Quan'Cath takes many shapes but for now she will tend to manifest as an omni present voice she will take other forms once i get some pics.
586625

Goals: To keep the prime reality running smoothly and maintain all other sub realities. and also to make sure the prime timeline remains unpolluted.

Personality: Quan'cath can be a bit distant, though as she sees all possibilities and moments of time it is understandable she might not always be all there. Still she is over all friendly towards other gods and mortals despite the annoyance they both cause in messing with her rules. The quest ways to anger her are trying to alter the timeline or trying to completely break the rules, like trying to completely eliminate gravity. Quan'Cath can generally be counted as a neutral figure in the gods when it comes to creation and destruction or good and evil.

Bio: Quan'Cath was created before linear time and thus is both older than some god and yet the same age, time is funny like that. She was silent at first remaining secret not because of fear or malice but because she knew what was to come and started to set down the rules and create the canvas of reality for the others to create in and allow their creation permanence.

Powers:
Time travel: What do you expect she can move through time, though dealing with the headaches this causes in the form of paradoxes is a headache so she hates it.
Time manipulation: Quan'Cath can speed up slow down, stop, and manipulate time in all forms.
Omniscience: As the controller of time Quan'Cath can see all futures all pasts and all presents, but well it is easier to focus on the prime timeline over everything all at once.
Reality creation: Quan'Cath is the creator of the various realities of the gods, she creates the baseline rules making a blank canvas for them to truly make it their own
Reality warping: As the one that makes the rules of reality she can twist them
Godly power: Quan'cath shares all base god power the other have.

    Godhood:
    Dreams, Youth, Trickery

    Goals:
Moroi's goals are divided into her own desires and the duties she inherited from her fallen sister. She is a goddess with a deep sense of superiority, one who wishes for praise, power and to stand above others in such a way that never again will they dare mock her. She knows she does not have the power for this, however, so instead she chooses to bubble up in her own realm most of the time, where she can at least pretend to be superior there, her own kind of dream.

However, she also has inherited duties in becoming the goddess of youth and dreams, ones which she proudly takes on as a second-hand sign of her victory. She seeks to protect the children of the world and their innocence, but also foments the dreams of young people, pushing them onwards to seeking out those dreams or otherwise, to let themselves slip into their own imaginations. She takes care to nurture the inner child in people and ultimately wants them to choose to reincarnate in her realm rather than the mortal realm, where she can take care of them forever.

    Personality:
As expected of the goddess of youth, Morois has a very childish personality. She is a playful prankster who gets bored with ease and can be inconsequencial when in search of her goals and entertainment in general. She's vain and the kind to be rather vulnerable to praise and bribery, though she isn't completely witless either, often enjoying to inflict poetic justice upon mortals who half-heartedly attempt to earn her favor or who do wrong against children under her supervision in general. She is also surprisingly patient and willing to hold back despite her competitive streak, as she understands that her powers are rather weak compared to that of most other major gods. Because of this she's become a coward who prefers underhanded strikes out of spite if she takes any action other than running and hiding at all.

Perhaps to vent her frustration, or perhaps just because she is like that, Morois has a bit of an inferiority complex which leads her to recluse in her own realm most of the time, wherein she can feel superior to warped world and youth-bound mortals around her. However, far from a tyrant, she is instead mortherly and kind to those mortals. In fact, she has a deep affection for children in general, alive dead or even fake ones. Celebrations of youth and the release of one's inner child bring joy to her heart. She is also a big fan of comedy, slapstick in particular, and pranks.

She has a relative ease at becoming bored and hates seeing things stagnate. She has earned the title of "goddess of generations" not due to a domain, but due to her propencity to incentivise youth to overcome their parentage and elders, to promote overturning whatever the old was in the name of whatever the new is.

    Bio:
Morois was one of the last gods to be created, one of the youngest to exist among the major gods, born as the goddess of curses. While her position should have been undeniable in her view, she was mocked by the minor goddess of the moon, youth and dreams, Lunar. Though Moroi could change her shape, but yet still be mocked.

"You remain but the same, for your true form is none other than the one which I saw. You may change your shape, but in truth, you remain none other than that creature. For mortals themselves know of this: It is the moon they shall see and whose light shall guide them in the night. It it is dreams that shall lull them to rest. But though even in death there is glory, in a curse there is but disgust, fear and pain, and is in the sight of you."

At such an insult from a minor goddess, Moroi would not stand. She challenged the goddess with a bet: Each would make a champion who would fight in their behalf, with no aid of other gods. Should Morois win the bet, she would take the dreams away from the moon, she would take the moon goddess's true form. Should the moon goddess win instead, Morois would swear servitude to the awe of the moon. To even the scales some more, the challenge would take place in the moon itself, where the minor goddess could harness the most influence.

The moon goddess crafted a champion of youthful vigor that thrived in the then vibrant moon jungles, connected ever so deeply with the moon itself. Morois on the other hand, crafted a champion that was old and decrepit, but cunning of tongue and shameless in means. Morois secretely cast a most powerful curse upon the lands of the moon, that would wither away its life from within, cause the lush forests to fall into white dust and its light to dim and have to borrow from the sun. The day of their challenge came, but Lunar's champion was ill, their connection with the moon providing no strength that wasn't offset by the weakness of the moon's current condition. It was an effortless victory for Moroi's champion.

Though Lunar felt cheated, Morois was quick to point out that no rule had been set against such tactics, and that in fact making use of her own domain was only to be expected- after all, it was a bet between the goddesses. The Lunar goddess's pride was too much to not go through with the bet, yet she wouldn't go without revenge for the afront. She told Morois that in fact, to fulfill her agreement, Morois would have to chop her own head off, so that Lunar could place her blood directly on Morois. Morois did as she was told, not suspecting that Lunar would then squash her fallen head underfoot, and use the blood to pass a curse of her own along with the form, now that Morois was vulnerable to them.

At that moment, Morois was no longer a deity of curses, but instead took the moon's true form for herself, however, when bathed in the light of the fullmoon, the monster she once was will reveal itself, forcing her back into that form. She obtained the domain of dreams and youth from the moon goddess, while earning the domain of trickery for her deceit. The goddess of the moon is now forever bound to endlessly shapeshift, and the moon itself to have phases.

This led the serpent to come and scold her for such actions. Morois couldn't understand why this was happening, why after her wit and cleverness in response to the mockery that was made of her she had to be lectured by the serpent. She cried as she heard the sentence and grew much resentment towards the serpent, but had no choice other than accepting her punishment and fleeing to her own realm.

Now Morois is confined to her own realm, and can only come down the mortal's realm with a tax on her power, that causes her to be only able to use a spec of her divine power.

    Powers:
Shapeshifting- Like the other deities, Moroi is capable of shapeshifting. Her shapeshifting offers remarkable versitality, with it's only real limitation being the need for whatever she shapeshifts into to be very young. This includes objects, making her only able to shapeshift into recently made objects or objects which have been recently invented. The one exception to this, is that she can turn back into the monstrosity she once was, now beheaded, or a relative of it, an enormous green worm. She loses her ability to shapeshift and is forced back into her original form when bathed in direct moonlight however.

Concealment and Illusions- The power of concealment, that allows her and her creations to escape even the grasp of the other god's domains, to fall from their memories. While it has no power that could so much as rival another god's, it can nonetheless avoid their magic, as if they never had been there to begin with. As a goddess of trickery she is able to hide what is there and show what is not, to convey visions or illude the mind and memories.

Rebirth- In her lies the power to control the rebirth of creatures, both those who were alive and those who passed. She can restore or preserve the youth of mortals (or take it away) and and can have them, if they choose, be reborn in her own realm instead of the mortal realm or another after life.

Curses- The leftover magic from when she was a goddess of curses leads Morois to still have an exceptional dominium over them, being able to create ones even other gods might have trouble removing without her help (though they can only affect mortal races).

Memory Manipulation- she is able to manipulate or even drain the memories and minds of mortals who fall to her trickery or request it. She can do the same to other deities, but only if they are willing or if she has enough help from other deities in the process.

Dream-walking- She can manipulate and enters the dreams of mortals and other deities alike.

  • [div class=b][div class=t style=color:crimson]Aíma
    The Vampire Empress

    Godhood:
Minor goddess of curses and vampirism

    Goals:
Making Morois proud, spreading the influence of vampirism

    Personality:
Aíma is a rather subservient goddess with a child-like aspect to her. She sees Morois, her creator, as a mother and still yet as a goddess among gods for the opportunity to ascend into one herself. This can, however, go the point of obsession as she desires Moroi's approval and attention to such extent that her main purpose in spreading vampirism is simply to make an undeniable mark on the mortal realm .

She is generally a polite and respectful goddess who wholeheartedly believes vampirism is only rejected because it is unknown. That once it becomes sufficiently spread it will become accepted and permissable, no, desirable among the mortal races. She's also one for subtlety rather than brute force, she prefers watching cunning plans and flawless strategies rather than mindless power or savegery, though she herself is prone to rash decisions when angered. And she is a little too easy to anger.

    Bio:
Aíma was created to be Moroi's champion in her bet with Lunar. After Morois won the bet, she gifted what remained of her head for Aíma to bathe in, as a prize for her victory. With this, Aíma ascended to become a minor goddess herself, one blessed by the current Morois with youth, but which also inherited Moroi's former domain of curses. This combination gave rise to the domain of vampirism within her.

After the serpent banished Morois, Aíma became her official emissary and agent in the mortal realm, being in charge of spreading her worship, convincing mortals to try to go to her realm and helping to prepare means to aid her should she ever wish to visit the mortal realm.

    Powers:
Vampirism- She has the power to transform creatures into vampires. She is also able to drain the power of other beings when biting into them, albeit gradually.

Curses- As the current goddess of curses, she has access to an array of powerful curses.

Shapeshifting- She can transform into a bat (or several), an old decrepit woman or a weave of shadows.

Inhabiting- provided the mortals use the right rituals she is also able to possess certain statues or even one of their own bodies if so summoned. The extent of herself that inhabits the mortal or statue determines how long this can last, as does the strenght of the vessel.

Name: Viktor Isenblood

Nicknames: Lord of the Forge, Father of the Nation, To Whom All Blood is Sworn, the Hammer of the Dawn

Godhood: Of the Making of War, of the Forge and its servants, of the Earth and all its contents

Appearance:

587427

Goals: To create a People that can endure the Dark Times and spread across the Endless Stars

Personality: Unlike the people he created, Viktor is a jolly soul who finds it difficult to be pessimistic. He is proud of his creations, eagerly showing them off to any willing to see. He places a huge emphasis on adaption, bravery, and loyalty. He believes in the greater good of his cause, and so, isn't afraid to cut someone off if it means it will hinder the wider operation. While he may be joyful, he is slow to forgive, and quick to anger. Any slight against him will be paid back regardless of the cost, though it may be an eternity till it is.

Bio: When Viktor came to be in a blinding flash of embers and ash, there was nothing in him but ideas and passion. Passion to create, to explore, to make life of his own. And his idea was equally ambitious. He wanted to see his life become ascendant and hold dominion over much of existence. This he kept hidden in his heart, and with the flick of his finger, set to work.

For ages, Viktor labored slowly in his personal forge, but the work never stopped. While he labored, he created two beings to aid him, named the All-Seer and the Hammerhand. These two were his constant and only companions as he worked. And then, at last, he created the first fruit of his labor: Kamen. Kamen was a weapon of unsurpassed power and beauty. The warhammer glowed like the forge it was made in, pulsing steadily like a heart beat. With his weapon forged, Viktor smiled with glee and left his workplace. But then, other powers had plans for him. He stepped out, and then felt himself turn to ash and ember again, and then appeared again with a blinding flash among strange beings standing before a serpeant. Perhaps this would be the first test of his hammer...

Powers:
Ability to create weapons, armor, and more at will
The creation of Forge-Fathers and Lords of the Mount, immortal champions that guide his Chosen
The ability to sing anything perfectly
Pre-ordained God Powers

Name: Khades (kay-dee-s)

Nicknames: The Cinder King, Herald of Annihilation

Godhood: Fire, destruction, chaos

Appearance: Although having the ability of shapeshifting, Khades prefers two forms. The first of which is his favourite and the for he uses to deliver his chaotic energy upon the world. The latter is used for communication with mortals.

Form 1: the Cinder King
588918

Form 2: Herald of Annihilation
588919

Goals: Khades has no real aspiration other than the balance of the universe. But the path to balance comes only with destruction and change of all things over time. Khades does not aspire destruction for destruction’s sake, but merely to save the universe from falling into tyranny and captivity.

Personality: Khades is generally a good god, though on the chaotic side. He holds no real sway over material possessions, they must change and die like everything else. Khades puts more stock into living beings, he finds it amusing that the mortals long for freedom and independence whilst also longing safety and law, opposite sides of the spectrum. He ultimately just wants what’s best for the little mortals.

Bio: The mantle of Harbinger of Chaos is not one taken lightly, but in the eyes of Khades, it is a small price to pay for salvation. Creatures live and creatures die, that is the nature of things, natural order cannot be disturbed; the dead shall stay dead.

Powers:
1. The Everspark.
The Everspark is the eternal flame that is housed within the heart of Khades, every flame and cinder is a duplicate of the raging inferno that lays in Khades’ chest. With this he can draw a tendril of flame from his heart that can only be extinguished when returned to the Everspark. Additionally, he can control any existing flame that exists in the natural world, as well as any magical flames.

2. Destruction.
Khades, being the God of Destruction, can gradually bring things to their natural ruin, as if time were passing supernaturally quickly. People age years in a matter of seconds, mountains crumble to dust in days, and stars can be born and die in a mere century.

3. Psionic Pandemonium.
This power is more psychological than physical. Khades has the ability to sprinkle seeds of independence and individuality into the hears and minds of creatures, making them act brashly and, at times, recklessly. Creature’s affected by this power rarely act self-destructively but it is not an impossibility.

4. Celestial Origin
Khades has the base abilities of the other gods.

Name: Tríchros

Titles: The First Martyr, The Second Light, The Three Crosses, The Red One, The Great Corsair

Godhood: Courage & Rage

Patronage: Corsairs & Martyrs

Appearance:
589027

Goals: To rid the world of fear.

Personality: Despite holding an unswerving belief in the rightness of virtue, Tríchros is cursed with uncontrollable bouts of mania; for which he earned his last two titles. To simplify things a great deal, one could say his personality was split between that of Courage, and that of Rage.

Bio: Birthed in the darkness of the void, Tríchros quickly found within himself a deep respect and silent admiration for the lives of mortals. To live knowing that death awaited you around every corner, that your end was inevitable, and to still fight on and do great things amazed him. Perhaps they were just purposefully ignorant or too primitive to understand what it all meant, yet in the back of his mind he truly believes that they are better than that. It is for this that he instills within the hearts of mortals the power to face their worst fears, so they might never meet their ends afraid.

Powers: In addition to his innate powers as a God, Tríchros possesses a vast of array of psychic abilities that allow him to influence, possess, and even alter the minds of mortals.

Ignored and seemingly betrayed, Tartaus created slights that didn't exist and took them especially harshly, becoming a spiteful and hating being.
