Felix breathed a tiny sigh of relief. There was something good in his life, and she was glad. Just then she remembered something. "You said...Lillian was your cousin, wasn't she?" She frowned, trying to remember what his answer had been, but the alchohol's effects had clouded her memory.

Her master's word stuck in her mind as she frowned. She realized she went against everything her master said. Revenge was futile. Whatever, Thea thought as they got close to the town.

"Nothing at all..." she said as she felt her eyelids get heavier and heavier until she could hold them open no more. She moved closer to his body for the warmth her fire couldn't offer. Snuggling into him, she drifted off into a deep sleep.
