Fantasy The Four Elements [CLOSED]

Breath only continued to stare at the ground, feeling froze and still slightly shivering; the mention of the Fire Kingdom not helping. He tried looking at her, but his gaze only twisted back to his feet, and the grimoire he was holding close. F-fire Kingdom? His head went completely packed with thoughts and questions now. "O-OK" Why has she not killed me yet? "B-but isn't the Fire Kingdom hunting down survivors?" why is she laughing? "T-Thanks. I G-guess." She points a bow at me. Interrogates me. And now she's laughing. Did I get the horrible luck or coming across a psychopath? He tries matching her laugh, but mostly emerges with with a serious of scared, nervous, odd and weird noises that could be better described as a faulty air horn.

She burst out laughing louder when she heard the noise he made. "You know Breath," she said in between her laughs. "Not every Fire bender is as screwed as other people think them to be. Now tell me, how long have you lived in the Air kingdom?" She had begun to worry about Haku. Was he alright? She wanted to get him as fast as possible, but this boy just wouldn't budge.

Breath seems to slump over, almost like a rag doll as the tension in the air begins to dissipate with the sudden shift in character from before. He practically plants his face into the cool ground, the exhaustion affecting him now more than before; like he had just went through an emotional brick wall. With a few slight groans, he leans on his side, still not looking towards her directly. Yea... but they're all screwed in the head. This one seems to have a few more screws loose than the others so far. His voice turns to a shy muttering now, breathing though his nose in a calming attempt. "My entire life. Until recently."

She thought about his answer. He was took weak to fight her, he would be no threat to Haku. If need be, I could just kill him later on. "All right, follow me," she said, as she walked towards the clearing where Haku was.

@Grimclaw @Shiro kurogane

He tried to get up, this time his legs showing a great deal of strain and weakness as he forces himself to be supported by the near by tree. He didn't seem all to eager to follow her, slowly lingering behind at first, but stepping a little faster towards her as he continued on. What if she's going to go kill me now? Following and trusting a Fire nation. I don't have much choice do I? If she doesn't kill me then, she'd kill me the moment I tried to run. His stomach began to growl lightly, one of his spare hands reach for his pockets, but pulling nothing but spare fabric, giving a frown to his failure. "This day has taken a lot out of me..." Breath said to himself.

She watched as Breath limped, and offered her shoulder as a support. "I'm sorry, I have no food to spare," she said as his stomach grumbled. "Trust me, the day has taken a lot from both of us."

@Grimclaw

haku's senses sharpened slightly at hearing people coming to the clearing. he knew there were two because living out in the wild 24/7 would sharpen anyone's senses, unless they died first. he looked to where felix and an obviously air kingdom stranger. "this your friend?" haku asked the stranger as he pointed to the dead airbender novice below him. @Felicis @Grimclaw

Breath looked towards her shoulder, wanting to avoid it but inevitably taking it in support as he feels his physical ability growing weaker. His face showing the clear discomfort, but forcefully putting on a wavering smile, and his words giving the same light hearted-tone when they first met. "Thanks. Uh, do you know if anywhere that has food is near--" His face suddenly grows flat, at first looking expressionless towards the dead body and gradually twitching as the realization washed over him. That guy is dead. You were lead here by a Fire nation. I'm going to die now, aren't I? Despite his thoughts, all that comes out is a short whimper of "Uhm... never mind. I'm not hungry anymore." His body naturally begins to start shaking, the fear building up again the longer he looks towards the scene.

Felix's breath caught in her throat. She could feel the anger bubbling inside her. Haku was doing very little to make Breath feel welcome, and all the time she had spent Breath was going to be wasted because his stupid, stupid decision. She couldn't believe she had spent so much time making sure Breath wasn't a threat to Haku, and now he was scared out of his wits again. "What the hell Haku? Why the f**ck did you do that?" I should have never come here, I wasted so much time on this stupid asshole, I left behind my friends. The rage swept over her like a tidal wave. "Why for god's sake would you kill innocent people?" she said through her grit teeth.

@Grimclaw @Shiro kurogane

"innocent? this dead airbender is not innocent. besides i always give the people the air kingdom send to kill me a chance. they either realize im stronger than they had thought and retreat to live. or they stupidly believe they can take me." haku said shrugging. he could see felix's anger at him for killing. "besides everyone deals with their situations differently. i give my want to be killers a chance before i kill them. which is more than most people would do in my shoes." he said calmly. haku didn't want the girl to hate him. but no one ever changes in a day.

@Felicis @Grimclaw

"Everybody thinks they can take anybody, that gives you no right to kill them. Everybody deserves a second chance. Just because you are a sadistic little selfish bastard doesn't mean everybody else is too, you know?" Felix was getting ahead of herself, and she knew. She regretted those words as soon as they came out of her mouth, but it was too late to back out now.

@Shiro kurogane @Grimclaw

Breath could only remain silent in his shock, clearly he wanted to say something with his mouth ready to speak, but no words coming out. his hand slowly slipped from Felix's shoulder, tightening itself over the book and his chest like before; almost falling to his knees in his weakness. His eyes seem frantic, searching round him at the near by forest and bouncing between the two currently standing. Air Kingdom sending to kill? Why now. Why me. His eyes closed up, almost on the brink of tears from his fear, muttering a single line before bracing himself for what he thinks is clearly going to kill him. I don't want to die. "W-who are you?"

haku's eyes darkened sinisterly as he listened to felix. he knew somewhere within himself she was making a point. but again haku had chosen his path. looking to the stranger with his still darkened eyes he answered "i am haku. he could just guess that this incident would probably drive felix away. but being this way was the only life he'd ever known. -now you see why i warned you against friendship with me..- he thought as he prepared for the possibility of felix leaving. @Felicis @Grimclaw

After finishing with food Aria left Zen to get some rest, she looked behind her to see that Serena was tending to jake and heard that Thea and Irene have found a letter from the fire kingdom. Standing up she went tot them and put a hand on Jake's shoulder after Serena forced him to drink something: ''how are you feeling?" the young air general asked him kindly then looked at the girls: ''we can't endanger the people of this village, after all the kindness they have shown us, but we can't leave either" she took a look at Serena: ''is there somewhere we can train here?'' she asked her suspiciously then continued: ''we don't need to waste more time going to the temple, the time wasted can be spent here training. The fire kingdom will not strike this town now, they are not that stupid , all the air benders can create fog around the city concealing it a little, while earth benders can make walls around it to make it secure'' she used her fire to sterilize the wound in her chest again. Looking at the leadership spirit in both Thea's and Irene's eyes Aria smiled: ''this is only my opinion though, the ultimate choice is yours'' she addressed both of them. They had so much potential to lead, and they pushed each other to become better even though they fought a lot, they both make the ultimate leader the young general thought to herself

Felix felt so terrible for saying those words, but they were true. She couldn't argue with that. But didn't Haku deserve another chance too? She didn't want to lose the friend she had made. As Breath's hand slipped from her shoulder, she was snapped out of her daze. Looking at him with concern, she said, "He needs to lie down. Would you help me please, Haku?"

@Grimclaw @Shiro kurogane

"no." he answered as he turned to walk away towards the water source from earlier. -im not a person... i became and am a monster. monsters don't have connections. felix is better off going with that stranger.- haku thought darkly. he was slowly regressing to how he thought and felt when he'd been and grew up in the air kingdom prison. he felt guilty when he killed, but his persona would change and he would forget. with felix around his persona stayed neutral to anyone aside from her.

@Felicis @Grimclaw

Breath stayed close to himself, looking down but hearing the footsteps of Haku getting further. His eyes opened, clearly a look of relief filling them, his body almost going into a slump. His words would turn to a whisper, his hands holding the sides of the book and placing himself to the side, feeling as if everything else was gone. "I'm alive." His quivering seemed to settle upon saying that, but his stomach not so much; this time it roared rather than grumbled. "H-hey...uh, Fe-Felix was it? Where was that town? I really want to leave this place right now." The latter of his words lowered to a whisper in an almost childish manner, his gaze however fixated on the corpse up ahead.

@Shiro kurogane

Felix had messed up big time. "Stay here," she told Breath and then ran to Haku. She ran ahead of him and blocked his path. "Stop," she said, panting. "I didn't mean any of those words I said. I'm really sorry, I really am. Please don't leave. Breath is really weak, you need to help him." She looked pleadingly at his darkened eyes, hoping he would understand.

@Grimclaw @Shiro kurogane

haku stopped seeing felix blocking his path. he saw the pleading in her eyes as she looked at him. haku stepped up within touching distance of felix. reaching out he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her into a hug. "don't look at me like that. i don't know why but i've heard those very words with the same pleading eyes. but none of them has hurt or effected me as much as they do now coming from you." he said pulling from the hug just enough to look felix in the eyes. his own eyes were no longer dark, they were hurt.

@Grimclaw @Felicis

Felix was confused, but she let him do what he pleased. The look in his eyes were too strong. Returning his gaze, all she could whisper was, "I'm sorry." Behind his shoulder, she spotted Breath and was reminded of his fragile state. Breaking away from the hug, she ran to help him. "I'll get you out of here in no time, I promise," she whispered into his ear. Looking back at Haku, she said, "I need your help. We need to get him to an inn. Please help me." Something in Haku had changed, she could feel it. It was making her become even more weary of him, and she didn't know why.

@Grimclaw @Shiro kurogane

Breath looked on, seeing Haku take Felix in his arms; prompting a small smile on his own lips and pressing against the ground; settling himself onto his feet, but hunkered down. This is my chance... I'll have to get food. Felix said there was a town, and she did seem like a helpful woman... past the whole arrow-to-the-face interrogation phase. Would she lie? He slowly advances, trying to shuffle his way towards the brush and grass near by while the two were close on each other. His weakness wasn't a lie, but it was the emotion and shock keep him down, and seeing the heart warming scene calmed that greatly; but felt his own heart cold. It must be nice having someone like that to still keep close. He looks behind him, glancing one more look towards the body with a short frown and a nod in respect. Winds take you. His hands pushes the greenery to the side, but realizing he's quickly falling over; his face heading directly for the mud "Not now!" a clear sigh among his distress of words.

She helped Breath out of the mud, the forest ringing with her laughter. "We should really get you something to eat." She looked at Haku expectantly.

turning to follow behind felix haku sighed. his persona had switched just then. now he wasn't neutral anymore. now he was in an openly honest emotion type thing mood. doing something he'd never thought he would do ever in his life. haku began chanting, as the chanting got faster a wind started to kick up. this wind was special for even though it seemed violent on the out side. it was actually gentle, sending the the gentle flower smelling wind over to Breath. the wind began to revitalize him, it would recharge his energy and even negate his feelings of hunger or thirst. after haku stopped chanting he fell onto his knee. the downside to the 'healing wind' was that it drained the user considerably. but being used to being drained haku was soon standing again. @Felicis @Grimclaw

The mud surrounded Breath, his face, clothes, and most of his upper body. The effects of the wind, and Felix's hands pressing him up, where quickly felt, but saying a word; afraid the taste of fresh mud might fill his mouth. Instead, he gave a closed smile, raising one of hands to try and wipe away some of the mud surrounding his eyes. That could have gone better. His hands quickly pat around him, the hard tap of his trusty book as its mark, and pressing it back against his chest defensively like always. Was that healing wind? Level 3: Adept rank spell... not easy to pull off. Felix already said she was from the Fire Kingdom. Does that mean Haku is from the same one as me? He gave a slight shiver, but quickly placing his smile back to his face, a quick paced thanks after continuously cleaning his face. "Thanks."
