The Favor

[Bluee]

It took him around 10 minutes to prepare a nice snack for her. All the while he was thinking about her. He thought that it's not all that bad, she was very beautiful and had a great personality. Carter had every reason to love her. He went to the fridge and grabbed a soda can and went back to the living room carrying them. He handed them to her with a smile. "It's not the best snack in the world but I really do hope that you like it."

Kathryn took a bite and smiled.


"It's good," said Kathryn. "Thank you. I haven't eaten much the past few days. It feels so refreshing."


Kathryn opened the soda and took a sip.


"As is this," she said before taking another sip.

"I'm glad you like it." Adam gave her a few minutes to enjoy her snack while he added more wood to the fireplace. He had so many questions on his mind. When she was done with her snack he went back to his seat and looked into her beautiful eyes. "So how do we suggest we do this? You know your family so how do you think we should approach this?"

 

[Binnie Ryman]

"We'll elope," said Kathryn. "I'll tell them I'm staying with a friend for a few days. Then we'll go over and tell them that we've married and I'm expecting a baby. They'll be mad, but they won't agree to us getting a divorce. They don't believe in divorces. They think it'll shame the family."

 

[Bluee]

"It's not a good thing to do to you family, just put them on the spot like that. They will despise me, but I see no other choice. It's the best course of action. And I promise you that I will handle everything as best as I can." He said as he stroked his head with his hand.

 

[Binnie Ryman]

"I doubt they'd be surprised!" said Kathryn. "Before he died, Carter and I planned on eloping. I threatened to do it before, and there's no way they'll agree to the marriage."

 

[Bluee]

Adam nodded as he looked at her. "Alright, so I guess we do have our course of action. I... I know how hard it is on you to do this and it's a great sacrifice you're doing for your child." He gave her a small reassuring smile.

 

[Binnie Ryman]

"It's a great sacrifice for you, too," said Kathryn. "I mean, if you ever find a woman you love, you'll be stuck with me. Really, thank you. This is so terribly kind of you."

 

[Bluee]

"It's the least I can do for Carter and... You." He then looked around him. "My house is not very fancy but it has everything that you may need. I have two bedrooms so you can have your own room here. Plenty of food and drinks in the kitchen but not much of it is healthy so I'll have to go do some shopping tomorrow. You'll be needing to eat healthy food for the baby."

Kathryn nodded.


"I'll call my friend, Jenny and tell her of the plan and if my parents as, I'm at her house," said Kathryn. "And I'll ask her to be a witness at our wedding. We need to be married as soon as possible.
