Kevin carried a box into his home and said, "Mom, is this really all necessary."


Nobody answered him and he realized that he was all alone. Living in this orphanage, he had only this box. Remembering he was an orphaned American child, he had been brought to the child protective services house in a random city and this was it. The only things he had was the things he inherited from his mother. Sighing to himself, he knew that the next day would be his first day in school.


Flashback (two months ago):


"Kevin I know you are going to school but you must remember your training," his father said. Looking at his wife he added, "Kevin today may be the last day you see your family so remember with great power comes great responsibility. You may not have powers but you do have the skills you have learned. If you want to go through with this, you must become a symbol of hope. You, my son, are the Godiame Dracokage."


"Dad I know this already and I will not dishonor the family name," Kevin said before leaving the house.

Greg smiled at his wife as she sat down next to him and drank some his own coffee. He kissed her on the cheek and began to tuck into the meal he had prepared. "and today shall be all about you, my lovely sugarbun." He was glad that Eva seemed to tolorate his affection and knew that he did spoil her rotten some days but he just couldn't help it. Sitting out in front of the house of his foster parents, Kevin had found a staff and began to swing it around. Practicing the arts he had been taught, he focused his mind. Caroline went to see if her dad or mom was home or maybe Jason. Anybody home anyone she screamed out loud.

Kevin heard a scream and turned in the direction of it. He saw the house the his foster parents had said he should never go to. Smiling, he ran in that direction and approached the house with caution. Looking around he said, "Anybody in trouble or need help?"

Caroline went downstairs and she saw a boy her age "What are you doing her boy"

"Oh sorry, I heard a scream and came running," Kevin said as he saw a girl his own age. Turning to walk away he said, "My name is Kevin Dobson, by the way."


Then he walked away spinning the staff on his left index finger.

"I'm supposed to start at Currie Middle School tomorrow," Kevin said looking at her gently. Launching the staff into the air he turned to her and caught the staff. Then he said, "I just got back here to the states after being in Kyoto, Japan for the last five years."

"Umm, i'm not supposed to be there until tomorrow. Caroline, you should be careful of who is watching. Many people i've met have died because of the secrets my father refused to divulge," Kevin said as he walked off thinking about the symbol he would become.

But his father was a skilled mercenary for good. Now dead, he couldn't speak with his dad. Sighing he laid down and said, "Caroline huh, I wonder if she could feel the empathic abnormality in me."

Elizabeth grabbed some practice dummies and starting shooting dark energy bolts at them making the dummies become completely black. She made sure her bedroom door was closed so she could do that, she was comfortable with her family knowing when she was practicing but lately she had been getting a strange feeling everywere she went. She often saw the same people in dark vans driving around her house and the school, she had a weird feeling about it but she didnt want to say anything yet. She was sure her family probably noticed since it had been happening for a week, Elizabeth had tried following these people before but everytime they caught her looking at them they would go away and Elizabeth didnt want to follow them there.

Kevin was sitting in a park practicing his swordsmanship with a shinai. He had kept his eye on Caroline over the last week and knew something was odd about her. If he was right, they would be coming and he had to be strong enough to protect her as she was his classmate and neighbor in every class they had together. Caroline was seeing Black band of everywhere she goes is might think it could Br hunter but she is not sure​

Eva played with her necklace. She watched her husband with a smile.
