Fantasy The Fallen

Aki slowly nodded her head. "It's a small home and I am almost out of money." She said.
"That really shouldn't do. I can help you with that, if you'd like. Or I could take you into my home."

"So, everyone ready to play Candyland?"

((Sorry, didn't get rhe notifications.))

Maddox shrugs. "They did not think so."

Lyra finds some angel-food cake and brings it over with a couple plates. "The humans call this Angel Food. It is very good." She places a piece on eaxh of the three plates before taking the Applejack figure I her hands. "Huh."

"Mmm, it's really tasty. It says a lot about what humans think of us, if they name this after us."

(damn neither did i, what is happening!?)

She frowned and again stared stroking her wing, one of her many ways to comfort herself, "im sorry...families can be difficult, cant they?" she moved her hair behind her ear and leaned against the wall feeling its cool surface ease the pain in her back and she sighed with relief.

Aki took the small pink pony known as Pinky Pie and examined it.

Maddox shakes his head. "I could be nowhere but here. I was born with black wings. That's all there is to it." He doesn't move as she walks toward him, simply watches her. "I honestly can say I do not plan on killing you."

Lyra shrugs. "Pretty much anything that does not contain meat."
(Are you guys ready to play Candyland?)

((There is a glitch, I think.))

Maddox nods, watching her. He stretches his wings out to their full span of 12 feet, then wraps them around himself.

"I guess. Anyway, let's play." Lyra says, afrer swallowing a bite of the spongey substance

She smirked, "your lucks your wings are so large, mine barely span out to 8 feet" she liked that they were long enough that she could touch them though. "It must really come in handy for those nights where it seems to get colder here. Then again its pretty cold down here anyways" She looked at the ceiling wondering if she should go back, would her home even be safe right now?

"Great."

And they started. And it was fun.

(I was thinking that we use the 'roll dice' thing to see who wins. Also, where's Maddox currently?)

Aki took the cake and took a bite of it. She smiled. "It tastes good." She said.
Aki managed to win the game of Candyland. Elan, who'd come in last, congratulated her.

Elan's cell phone began ringing. She flipped it open and looked at the text she'd been sent (human technology ruled). She sighed. "Oh great, yet another group of fallen supposedly hiding out in the sewer system. And they want me to clear them out. And no delegation. Apparently, it's my turn."

She turned to her two companions.

"Would you like to come with me? I know it's the sewer and so doesn't sound particularly appetizing, but actually, there's a lot of clean auxilary tunnels and storage rooms, and a some haven't been opened for millenia. Usually, whenever groups hide out there- or I get rumors about there being a group there, which is far more common- they use the clean places. It's actually pretty interesting down there, when you're not in the ... 'in-use' tunnels."

"Alright then."

The trio put away the Candyland game, and Elan led them out through the streets, going on a rather confusing route. As she led them there, she explained: "Usually it's best to show up at really obscure entrances. I discovered the one we're going to centuries ago, and it isn't much used."

She then knelt down at the end of a somewhat dusty alley, and took off a cover down to a manhole that looked nearly exactly like the paving outside. She climbed down the ladder that was their into the tunnels, and called up: "Well? You coming?"

Freyja blushed and played with a strand of her hair, "im um..sorry, I havent had the chance to talk to someone in quite some time. And you barely know me so im probably just being a nuisance" she felt bad, like she was intruding on his space and he had been very kind to her since they met.

"You're fine. I don't speak much." Maddox says, awarding her with a small smile.

~

Lyra jumps down the manhole, not bothering with the ladder. The girl takes a look around. It wasn't too bad, but it kinda smelled.

Freyja smiled back, it was nice having someone around that wasnt a total psychopath and it was nice to know he could smile. "Thats not a bad thing, sometimes talking to much leads to people knowing to much. Im sure thats how you have managed to stay so safe I just manage to get myself stuck in predicaments" Her wings twitched and she furrowed her brow, "Do you um..hear something?"

Elan shivered. "Ah, it's cold down here." she said.

She put up her hood (not normally used) to provide some protection against the cold for her unprotected head (her coat was good for the rest of her body). The hood did quite a good job obscuring her face.

Maddox tilts his head, listening. It was very unlikely anything other than rats was down there, unless someone saw him enter. As far as he knew, no one else had come up with the idea of hiding out in the sewers. He doesn't hear anything, at first. But then, a sound that just might be someone talking. Maybe. "I'm not sure..." He stands, though, and throws his pillow and blankets into the duffle bag, as well as the unlit candles. "Come on." He says, opening the door and blowing out the remaining candles. The wax was still melted, he would have to leave them. He leads Freyja to the left, unknowingly in the direction of the light angels.

~

Lyra shrugged. She liked the cold. It was nice. "So what, exactly, are we doing down here?" The young girl asks, looking around the sewer again.
